The Red Haired owner said no words to me as I just wandered around looking at the walls. I thought about leaving but decided to try at least one sandwich as I had seen a pulled pork thingy someone was eating in the summer. The sandwich was like a METRO sandwich no more. I think that place should sell retro candy and pop or something as well. The place needs more to get people in the door. Edit. Returned last week and had another Ruben with a soup and it was fantastic. The meat was presented differently so it ooozzzed out the nicely! The soup was nice and chunky looked homemade. Congrats on stepping things up. It was a special combo for $10. Not bad.

It's ok... The price is just absolutely insane for a sandwich...Very comparable to Alfie's. Redhead guy at the counter was super awkward and not very friendly. Walking into a new business, I expected to be greeted with "hey welcome! If you look on this board we have such an such, and over here by the counter we have such and such"... The guy barely said hello and we just kind of figured it out ourselves... super weird. But yeah, there's nothing unique about these sandwiches and they're ridiculously over priced.

Reasonably priced. Fresh buns/pita. Small sandwich means less meat vs large but it was substantial amount!! Bonus! Two different sandwiches ordered had some sauces which we both would order without. Service was amazing and quick! Very clean establishment. Luncheon meat fresh. Menu simple with a great variety of options.

Think I found a new spot for my waterfront walks. I'm a bit picky and don't like a big sandwich. Asked for some beef to just snack on and they made it into an adult luncbable :)

Got the corned beef on rye. The bottom bread was totally soaked trough and falling apart so I couldn't even really eat the sandwich. Plus it was overpriced in my opinion for corned beef and two slices of bread that I couldn't even eat

Delicious sandwich, and the small was so stuffed I had leftovers to take home! Can't wait to return!

Was in town to watch a friends sons baseball game and stopped at this adorable deli and had the best meatball sandwich i have ever had! I highly recommend this place. If i ever come back to Sarnia i will definetely go back! Its clean and the 2 people working were so nice.

Hello Brian I dont get down town often...so I never knew you were the owner of Vicks Corner Deli... Hill and I saw the news article of your Pay it Forward idea and thought of course because it has that Brian feel to it...your a great guy Brian... Quality of the bread and meat was on point! Despite that, a meal for 2 is at least $30 which is absolutely insane for a sandwich shop in Sarnia. It's very hard to justify a return visit when I know there are much cheaper places to grab a fully loaded, fresh sandwich in town.
