I've had 3 different subs and I have to say this is the best sub place in town. I had the meatball sub which don't normally like, but it looked really good on the menu. The meatballs were moist and flavorful and it looked exactly how it was on the menu. It was the best sub I've ever had bar none. I've also tried the Hook & ladder sub and also the smokehouse beef & cheddar brisket and I have to say they do not disappoint. Important to keep in mind, these subs are very filling. I can only eat a medium sub.

First time stopping by Firehouse Subs in Sarnia and I will definitely be back. Delicious, quality deli meat and cheese on fresh bread served with crisp veggies and flavorful condiments...seriously, what's not to love. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size as well. Lastly I have to compliment the staff on their customer service. So polite and friendly. It made the experience very pleasant. Can't wait to go back!

Does it fill you, correct. Are the prices inflated, correct. Even had a coupon to try again for the 2nd time and it was over 30 for 2 subs. LOVE the rounding up, but mark my words, will NOT last in this city.

This is without doubt the best sub place in town. It makes the rest of sub shops unless you like paying for bun. Its extremely delicious and packaged to perfection fast and super friendly staff . Clean and the food is so worth the small expense when compared you get what you pay for believe me. Once you've tried here the others don't even come close

We love the subs , we received over 100.00 in gift cards , always feel welcomed , on may 11, 2021 4 pm I went in to get 2 subs , I asked for a small for me , she said medium , ,I replied I wanted the smallest one for me and a larger for the other sub , Italian , Waited for my order. And as I walked up she said 1 med which was mine and one med in Italian , I the. Said I ordered one med. one large , the counter girl came up and said you ordered 2 med, in which I did not , began saying I did, so I asked what I pd for, she responded with med, I then I asked do you remember our conversation about I wanted the smallest , large for second one , nope she said , the lady making the subs very nicely said I can make you one , but I new the other lady didn’t want too, she rolled her eyes , walked away , not happy. But did she think I was happy, I said never mind , she needs to remember , what customers Order , the next won’t be so happy , Judy

OK So let's Start with saying WOW !!! One of the best Subs Around !!! I got the Brisket and the wife got the Philly we split so we had half of each and DAM it was Good ! I WOULD have rated 5 STARS ONLY if My WAIT for a SUB was 55 Min now let me say this was only the second day they were open so let's hope they have it figured out here soon !!!! Love firehouse sub culture, food, everything. Update: I have returned several times since this original rating and review. The consistency in my customer experience has been refreshing! As a customer walking through the door, you are immediately greeted, by the line of Hot Sub Artists that help build your mouth watering creation. From their signature subs, to the standard warm sub to salads and more. This place has something for everyone. High quality ingredients and mouth watering subs. 5 stars still!

Okay. Here we go. I'm not entirely sure why anyone is complaining about line ups. I ordered my subs online and they were made fresh for pick up on time. Yes it's going to be busy. Hello? It's a new franchise in a small town, in the midst of a pandemic with nothing else to do. There's no need for someone to give a 1 star review. As for other reviews complaining about the cost. I'm not sure how they paid over 20.00 for a hook and ladder. Unless they added all the extras. Just a note... The hook and ladder is amazing as it is. No need for extras. I listened to the review about the awesome meatball sub and I wasn't disappointed. These subs are gourmet. If your looking for subway. Why did you go to Firehouse? None of these bad reviews are Firehouse Subs fault and should be disregarded. It's a great place, fresh, clean and uplifting. The food taste exactly how expected.... awesome. I will be back very soon.

While all of their subs are good, the Hook & Ladder, the sub that made them famous is truly great. It reads like a generic cold cut sub on the menu, but in reality the meat brine, perfectly sauces, and deliciously soft bun make the best flavour combination I've ever tasted in a submarine sandwich. The wait time can be a little long, but it is well worth your time. My recommendation is to call your order in on your way so it will be close to ready when you get there.

Great location with impecable staff. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is as good as the food itself. Delicious and unique subs - a bit pricier than typical sandwich joints, but it's a different experience and worth treating yourself.

They dramatically shrunk the size of at least the medium sub within the last month. Have yet to try the large recently but I guarantee that has shrunk as well. Super disappointing I have been impressed with firehouse until now will not be returning unless prices drop or the original sizes return. 1 star.

The worse subs I ever had ,the bread was stale and dry and no flavor at all, and as for the price totally ridiculous, went in for first time and wasn't busy ,and forgot to put a sub with our order,sorry will.never go back will stick to subway where they are fresh, flavourful and affordable totally disappointing.

I've ordered from here before and loved their subs. But tonight I got a New York steamer and couldn't eat it. I couldnt chew it. It was like a piece of tire rubber. I tryed even pulling that one slice apart. It stretched twice as long but wouldnt pull apart. Very disappointed!

We really love the subs at Firehouse. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They will help customize your sub if u do not like something on it and suggest something else in it's place such as changing up the cheese or putting mayo in replacement of peppercorn ranch dressing. Don't forget to ask for the deli pickle on the side. It is sooooo tasty. If u have not tried the subs here I would highly suggest u try them out. I know u will not be disappointed. It's our favorite go to.

after ordering from firehouse subs Sarnia and the owner stating on the phone he added ingredients to the subs that were sitting infront of us that were simply not on the subs, lying to us about multiple things like saying he himself put green olives on one of the subs then later backtracking stating they did not carry green olives that he put black olives on it instead (which clearly were not on any of these subs) stated he will not rectify it, that it is up to skip the dishes. even after i stated i would drive these subs to your store and show none of the requested ingredients were on the subs. The fact he refuses to fix any mistakes and blatantly lying i would rather deal with Philly Cheese Jakes and support a small business with better food and communication/service than to deal with this cheap and ignorant box chain and this belligerent "owner" again.

Went the other night with my girlfriend and I must say we were both pleasantly surprised! We both ordered the turkey club sub and both loved it. The sub buns they use aren't like the "other" sub place and actually have great flavor and texture! The meat was piled on high and all in all was very good! Service was pretty great also as they great you when you enter the restaurant. Will definitely return in the near future. One somewhat negative point would be that it's a bit pricey but it's also WELL worth the extra costs for the quality that they offer!

VERY disappointed with the customer service tonight. This is the THIRD time that we have been to Firehouse Subs and it seems to be a pattern. The service is slow and they don't mind serving people ahead of you who arrived, ordered and paid AFTER you. Although there was no-one in line when we got there, two lone customers and a family of five were served before us. When I asked why when my name was finally called (and there was literally no other customers left), they just shrugged it off, "maybe they ordered ahead". Um, no they did not. There was a manager there who clearly heard me and didn't seem to care, either. It is especially frustrating when you have a hard time breathing in a mask and have to wait half an hour for your food when there were no customers in the building when you arrived. If there had been, we might not have stopped. I also did not appreciate that when my husband and I were in mid-order, another cashier invited the family of five to stand next to us and order at her till. This was nowhere near six feet apart from us and it was very offensive to me. While the food is delicious, it is a tad on the expensive side and worse, the service is lacking. I haven't checked our food yet, because I was so mad at the way we were treated, so for all I know they messed up our order too. It is rare that I write a review, but I am really upset.

To costly. The order was $30.80 for 2 subs I gave $31.00 got offered no change booo. Lots of meat but no veggies. You can build your own but you can t view options like you can at subway. I can get 2 subs at subway for twenty dollars and get my change back. I want to make my own sub sauce choices. Not overly impressed

First time in today to pickup a sub and a couple of brownies to take home for lunch to share with my wife. The interior is totally breathtaking and extremely clean. The large " HOOK AND LADDER SUB " was great and was plenty for both of us and the Brownies were the best I've had in a very long time. I will most definitely be returning.

My husband and I tried Firehouse Subs tonight for the 1st time. We both got the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sub, he got the large and I got the medium. Delicious subs made with quality ingredients AND friendly service. What's not to love? They also are good with special requests (I do not usually get cheese or mayo on my sandwiches, and opt for more vegetables and their amazing spicy deli mustard instead). Highly recommend. I note that their sandwiches come cut in two pieces, I cut it into 4.

I think we can all agree that the food, service, and cleanliness of the store are easily a 10/10 so this review is for the man I saw yesterday absolutely tearing up the sidewalk with his sick dance moves in an attempt to attract people into the store. Never have I seen such passion and purpose from a sidewalk sign dancer. Would love to know what was bumping in his headphones. 15/10.

Hands-Down, one of the best Firehouse Subs I've been too...and we visit every single one that we can. Every sandwich is perfect, every visit to the store in awesome! During my last visit, I had a relatively large order. They are fairly good in terms of quality, but after nearly $20 for their Hook and Ladder Sub, and waiting more than 30 minutes to get it made, I realized this place isn't for the vast majority of people in Sarnia. I did like the quality of their imported meats, and cheese. It would be nice if they baked their bread. It seems as if it is baked from a factory and then shipped in. After paying so much, they still wanted me to donate. You give to them so head office gets the tax break. Customer service is decent, quality is good, but wait times and pricing will always be an issue.
