Insane amount of great food. I had the bbq pulled pork quesadilla which is a big taco filled with about a pound of delicious bbq pulled pork (duh). Could not finish it. I bet 95% of people can't finish it haha. I had most every sandwiches and tried all their donuts over the years. You can't go wrong with anything there. Great lunch place, highly recommended. I did not care for the decoration of the place but I was not there for the wallpaper.

A grand selection of huge donuts and eclairs at this place. I do not like cake donuts, but locals insisted I try a piece and these are the best cake donuts I've ever tasted. The dough on the cake donuts is so most and not as grainy as others. The eclairs looked so tempting but I did not have one. I had a sugar and cinnamon sprinkle coated bear claw. It went great with my latte.

My pulled pork quesadilla was delicious. The waitress was friendly and great! Unfortunately, my wife's Michigan Cherry Chicken salad wasn't so good. The chicken was dry and she didn't care for the vinagrette dressing. Making it a "3 star" experience was my personal pet peeve of charging an extra $1 each for an extra small bit of salsa and different dressing without even mentioning the upcharge.

Chef Shells did an absolutely fantastic job on what could have been their busiest day of the year. I preordered two dozen paczki, thinking I might not get any otherwise. I walked in earlier than my order time thinking there would be a line. The paczki were stack floor ceiling and they had me in and out in no time. Not to mention they tasted really good. Way to go Chef Shells.

Chef Shell's catered our casual outdoor wedding reception for 75 ppl and did a fabulous job! The staff arrived early, and they took care of absolutely everything! I was too busy visiting with family and friends to get pictures, but our guests raved about the perfectly cooked chicken and scalloped potatoes, the tasty bbq pulled pork, and the fresh salads and sides. So happy we went with them, and we would definitely choose them again!

The food is okay,the service is standard for a small restaurant. I feel that everything is a little too close together,I was squeezing past other tables. The servers were nice,but a small bit under-educated about how to cook eggs. In a group setting service seems a bit rushed by staff,pushy when we asked for more time. Had the biscuit with sausage gravy. It is advertised as being "Southern" style, but it falls a little short of this. As a guy who hails from Charleston, SC...it isn't right to put what tastes like nutmeg or allspice in the gravy. If anything, please add pepper or some such spice. The nutmeg and/or allspice makes the gravy taste like it is mostly nut based. Overall, all the other food I've had from this restaurant has been awesome.

Always love it. The soups are spectacular and warm on a cold day in Port Huron. Haven't had a bad sandwich there yet. I visit my parents weekly, as I live in Northville, and we go about twice a month. We try to visit all the local restaurants, but land up here the most often.

The fresh paczkis don't last too long as they are so delicious! It is suggested that you are to pre-order them if you want to make sure that you get them on Fat Tuesday. I have to admit that it was the best paczki that I ever had. Next year I am definitely pre-ordering me a dozen so I can share the love! I am also going to have to test their doughnuts since I found out that they make those fresh too.

First time ordering; got delivery. Prompt, warm food, with free delivery. Didn’t meet the expectations of what I’ve heard about them though… Ordered the melt sandwich which looked great but was seriously lacking sauce so I don’t even know what their signature sauce taste like. I also got the potato salad which has a great tasting sauce my potatoes were just a little too Al dente for me. Donuts never disappoint from there though. Ever.

Told them about an allergy and wasn't told they couldn't accommodate until food was delivered and did not offer to replace it. Staff was rude on the phone in top of it. Corn beef hash isn't hash its burnt corn beef with dry potato chunks and giant chunks of onion. Eggs undercooked and slimy. Just awful.

Had them cater for our daughter’s first birthday. Prices were reasonable, service was out of this world, and most importantly, the food was exceptional! We ordered some trays but also had the pulled pork and the roasted chicken. Chicken can be easy to mess up and become dry but NOT THEIRS so tender. We had a ton of compliments. Had ordered the Michigan Cherry Salad, states tomatoe . Well there was one small piece. Stated almonds lucky if there were a couple of slivers, chicken was dry and bland, and was to have cherry vinaigrette but had raspberr . Mine was only one of a large order that we got and the rest were not impressed either

My first and only time I will ever go to this restaurant the food is terrible. Their tuna salad is not albatrause as they say it is the cheapest awful tuna ive every tasted. The chicken meal wasn't cooked completely. Very expensive for what you get.

Chef Shell catered the rehersal dinner for my son's wedding. They came and set up at the Best Western as promised and provided all the plates, napkins and utensils. The food was amazing. When you don't live in an area, finding a caterer and making arrangements from out of town for a big event is stressful, but Jeanie was great and walked me thorugh all my choices. (I am celiac and she knew every ingredient in every dish off the top of her head, so I felt very comfortable that I could eat both main dishes, as well as the root vegetables) In the end we had the BBQ Pulled Pork, Honey Glazed Chicken,. Mac & Cheese, Roasted Root Vegetables, Pasta Salad and Garden Salad. There was plenty of food for everyone and lots of leftovers. I made the leftover chicken into chicken salad for the post-wedding brunch and it was so moist. Would use them again if we ever come to Port Huron.

I have never written a bad review on anything and I really don't know where to start. I was not impressed... They catered my 30th class reunion. We paid $35 per person. I'm guessing we paid for the Port Huron Yacht Club, but I honestly don't know what we paid for. My wife and I arrived 10 minutes after the reunion started. Talked for about 10 minutes then went to grab some food. The cheese tray already looked like the cheese had been out for hours. The veggie tray already looked picked over, but sadly only about 20 people were there at the time. The meatballs were horrible and the pulled pork was dry. I never give bad reviews and I pray this is constructive criticism. I can get a fully catered professionally prepared meal in Clinton Township for far less than what I paid for this disgusting appetizer mess I got.

Great Doughnuts and food! Staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. The location is cozy and is the street was recently converted from an old one way to a two way making it much easier to access. New parking was also added. Great place to visit in downtown Port Huron.

Received a plate of bacon that was a little undercooked and when I asked for a new order, the cook passive aggressivly sent back a plate of bacon that was pitch black burnt to a crisp. The waitress was really busy and kind though and didn't want to get her involved so just left it alone.
