Updated stars and review... while our first experience was not wonderful, we want to first say we had to wait a long time to be seated as the restaurant was extremely crowded, and our waiter may not have have understood us so well and perhaps that was the reason the food we ordered was not so wonderful. Next three nights we were in the restaurant across the street, even our hotel room was in the same hotel where the Cosmos restaurant location is. We published our review that was less than stellar and after we saw Restaurant Manager comments here, we went back and spoke with 2 managers that expressed their concern about our customer experience. They apologized to us and wanted to make us happy and gave us some fresh fruits when we left that discussion. We were so impressed that the managers sought to understand the problem and genuinely wanted to make things right. That the managers listened to us with empathy showed us that they care about their customers, so we have upgraded our review and look forward to going to this restaurant next time we are in Quebec City again. Original review I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars! My mom's salad was not fresh, and for my crème brûlée, the Caramel was over torched and more than burnt, and the food was a bit off! It was our first time in Quebec city and the first night was not so fun from that restaurant!

I had an awful experience, I am a national level swimmer who is generally always hungry... I specifically asked the waiter if the portion of the “cosmos” pasta was enough and he said it was perfect. I took it and maybe had 10 bites and was done. Had to make another meal when I got home. On top of it being a very small portion, it costed 25$. Very unsatisfied.

The eggs did not have the required doneness, the toast had no accompaniment (butter, jam, etc.) and no possibility of asking (no waitress). No condiment on the table (salt / pepper / sugar) and no offer when the dishes are handed over. The eggs benedict with duck confit were very very bland and those with red beans consisted of a questionable and bodyless mixture (bouette). Do not recommend and will hesitate to return. It avoids hearing a mix of all the conversations around which is great but it makes our own discussion sometimes difficult to hear. It's still a great place for a trendy couple outing or a meal between couples of friends. I also appreciate the work of the servers which are generally very busy but are still available and attentive. The dishes are varied and to date I have rarely been disappointed but now as soon as I go I take the pizza (thin) Sergeant Tao which I find delicious. If you like Thai and Chinese food, try it at least once. (Original) J'aime beaucoup ce restaurant personnellement. C'est très beau avec un look et musique très "ambiant" et "lounge". La musique est d'ailleurs très bonne mais un peu trop forte à mon goût. Ça évite d'entendre un mélange de toutes les conversations autour ce qui est génial mais ça rend notre propre discussion parfois difficile à entendre. Ça reste un excellent endroit pour une sortie de couple branchée ou un repas entre couples d'amis. J'apprécie d'ailleurs aussi le travail des serveurs qui sont en général très occupés mais restent tout de même disponibles et à l'écoute. Les plats sont variés et à date j'ai rarement été déçu mais maintenant dès que j'y vais je prends la pizza (mince) Sergent Tao que je trouve délicieuse. Si vous aimez les mets thaï et chinois, c'est à essayer au moins une fois.

This restaurant requires a total reorganisation of their internal workflow! The staff members are rushing and wondering all the time, counting empty bags with orders on them for take away food, losing valuable time of their clients who wait for over 45 min even if the food is pre-ordered and a specific time is announced in advanced for taking the food! So, I would strongly suggest that the manager takes seriously the organisational matters of the workflow between the order, the kitchen, and the final take away, and makes a much better system to avoid frustration from both personnel and clients! There is a need to also separate the guests of the hotel Classique from the orders at the door. The food is tasty, although the waiting and the frustration of everyone does not allow a proper enjoynment. Thank you for maybe considering!

I went here with my girlfriend who speaks French. First off, they had an English menu! Which was great! And the waiter spoke English too! I had a cosmos pasta and it was really good, with grated cheese. Definitely something I recommend. For dessert, the blueberry and Maple cheesecake was delicious. Overall, great meal, would definitely recommend at least the stuff I ordered!

The pizza was cold and the linguini were bathed in a rosé sauce that was too salty and seemed to be powdered in the wrong proportion. You could hardly see the seafood. In short, for a $ 100 bill with tip, I didn't consider it worth the price. On the other hand, the toilets and the decor are really cute. (Original) Je suis allée souper avec ma mère samedi et j'ai été déçue du service et des plats. Cela faisait une demie heure que nous attendions pour une place, je peux comprendre, mais il nous ont tout simplement oublié. 2 personnes sont entrées et ont eu une place immédiatement et elles n'avaient pas de réservation. Ma mère a été voir le gars et il a dit que c'était parce qu'il voulait nous offrir une banquette plus intime. Ok fine, 5 minutes plus tard, nous avons reçu nos places, une demie banquette côté à côte avec un groupe de personnes????????. Nous avons commandé pizza et linguinis aux fruits de mer, avec 1/2 pichet de sangria. La pizza était froide et les linguinis baignaient dans une sauce rosée trop salée et qui semblait être en poudre mal dosée. C'est à peine si on voyait les fruits de mer. Bref pour une note à 100$ avec pourboire, je considére que ça ne valait pas son prix. Par contre, les toilettes et la déco sont vraiment cute.

All-in-all a decent breakfast location. I would give at least 4-star, except for undercooked over easy eggs (raw egg white). Potatoes are different than most breakfast restaurant (smaller cut, with a lot of flavor), and their 'artisan' type bacon was very good.

We usually like going to cosmos it's a nice place, but today(january 17th) everything was horrendous. My girlfriend and I lacked of coffee and it took 15 minutes before having a refill that we had to ask because the waitress was never there. She came to ask us once if everything was okay and we were both 3/4 through our plates. Finally, when we received our bill she had charged some homemade mayonnaise without telling us it was an extra 2$ each. I won't be back due to today.
