Very disappointed with breakfast. Hashbrowns were undercooked and overly salty. I crunched on dirty potato skins several times. Pancakes were like playdoh and bacon was terrible. Coffee was mediocre. Eggs Benedict was great except they weren't made with poached eggs, just fried eggs over easy. It just seems very low quality.

Just tried sunset grill for the first time. Had the French connection . 3 eggs French toast and home fries. Was awesome. Can also add meat to the dish if you want.

There service is quick, efficient and amazing. Even the waffles we ordered were straight out of the pan instead of saggy. Breakfast or brunch in that locality must place to visit.

Great restaurant, very good food and wonderful service, slight room for improvements with variety of menu items but covid may have some blame for that. I believe it will be a long term successful spot for breakfast.

Simple request to the owner operator of this restaurant. Please keep your dine in patrons and staff top of mind. We sat in on Sunday morning waited 1 hour for breakfast watching your take out orders and the delivery drivers getting priority over dine in. This is wrong take care of your staff and the tips they need to survive. If not for our sever constantly having to apologize about the wait we would have walked out. Keep Jen and your team gainfully employed by prioritizing your dine-in customers.

first time visited this place and had a terrible experience , I got hair(brown) in my food this morning and asked the manager to come and have a look he sent a waitress to our table she took the food to the kitchen which was right there in front of our table she picked up the hair from potatoes(with her hand) and asked chef to put new potatoes in that same plate( didn't even consider changing a plate) and brought it back to me the "same plate she took from my table". what kind of customer service is this??

We went into sunset grill for breakfast a week ago. We will not be back. Breakfast didn’t come with toast and toast was 2.49 ( I can buy the whole loaf thanks). We sat by the cooking area and overheard the cooks say to the waitress that the serving tray was getting full her response was use the other side then. No wonder our food was cold when it came. 1 glass of orange juice is almost 5 bucks. There are plenty of breakfast places to go to in St Thomas to go to so if they don’t change I do not think they will be around long. Best of luck to the owners.

Truly a wonderful place to eat breakfast in the city. Worth the wait (if there is one, sometimes there is and sometimes not) and the staff is always welcoming and warm. The food is very good and this pace had become a Sat and sun morning breakfast go too. Everyone need to go here if your looking for good food.

Sadly, I disappointed after we finished our lunch today. The food was low quality and I crunched on eggs shells multiple times. our server was not attentive at all. We had to wait quite a while to get our bill after we finished our meal. We will not be returning.

We waited for over 45 minutes for a simple breakfast and it was nowhere in sight. In that time we got a total of one coffee. We had to leave due to time constraints and they wanted to present our bill. For what? We were never served!

Our server was an absolute dream!! Quick, attentive, friendly and efficient! The food was sub standard. Undercooked. Hollandaise sauce was sour and runny. Not a great meal to consume.

This is a fantastic breakfast spot for St. Thomas. The staff is fantastic! We were really impressed by the attention to detail when they were cleaning the tables. Operating a restaurant right now must be a pain, but these guys seem happy to do what they need to do. The coffee is absolutely amazing. I’d go just for a cup! The Sunset Omelette was great, home fries are really good too! Can’t wait to try more. Pretty sure I’m going to be a regular!

Not your typical breakfast style restaurant. Breakfast special has 3 ???? home fries, toast, no ???? .If you order the typical breakfast from the menu, meat is an extra cost $14 with a coffee (way too much for breakfast) the only options for light appetite is side orders. Food tasted good, good service, but the menu was complicated.

I don’t leave reviews but I felt I needed to in this case. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was about 50% full. Maybe the Uber eats orders? We waited 40 minutes for bacon and eggs. We could see the order up at the kitchen. It was cold when we got them. I mean c’mon it’s bacon and eggs. Others behind us waited even longer. Very frustrating experience here. I won’t eat again there.

I have eaten at this franchise in other locations Unfortunately i was very dissatisfied today as i decided to try out this new to our area breakfast location 5 minutes after my wife and i placed our orders the waitress informed me they don't serve poached eggs after 11am -chocolate chip pancakes with fresh strawberries for my wife, and their eggs Benedict for myself ( how can you advertise all day breakfast and not offer poached eggs as well?) I immediately replaced my order with 3 eggs over easy w sausage , homefries and pancakes... My wife's pancakes arrived with the strawberries on the side and they were in a sorry condition, fresh strawberries should not be mushy , she elected to not eat them My wife finished her meal and mine had not yet arrived I lost my patience after waiting over 25 minutes for my food to arrive, when i went to complain to the manager they offered to pack my meal to go, but it had not even been started on the grill as yet (and 3 tables had sat and ordered and received food while i was still waiting +1 star as the manager comped our meal Ps - i will likely try them again in a few months

Quite slow service despite not been very busy. Good menu choice but my French toast was effectively eggy break. Over priced as nearly €8 for 2 slices of bread. Just wasn't to my taste sadly.

I always order an eggs Benny and it’s amazing everytime. Also the owner is so sweet and always greets everyone ! Love this breakfast joint ! I will however suggest to Vik that he asks the cook for more consistency with portion sizes. Sometimes my plate is full. Sometimes it’s like I got the scraps (home fries). Food is still 10/10 and service is still 10/10.

Unable to order online as website does not work, called the restaurant to order but nobody answered. After calling for nearly 40 minutes someone picked up and was very rude. Did not bother ordering as the service was so terrible I can only imagine how bad the food is. I hope this places closes.

I have had great food here before but the last couple of times it's been awful. Breakfast today was so bad I had to throw it away. The home fries seemed like boiled potatoes cut to resemble home fries (I put a note to say they should be well done). The eggs were crispy. Overall no flavour. My husband who is not fussy ate some and then threw away the rest, even the French toast. I hope it improves as I did like the food when the restaurant first opened.

I was extremely cold due to being under the air conditioning. My food got cold quickly also. When I mentioned it to a staff member, he apologized but said nothing could be done. Very disappointed.

Not even worth 1 star. Burger was fried with grease dripping off it. I got a few bites into the burger before I reached a spot that was completely raw. Home fries were undercooked and flavorless. I realize that Vik is about to respond to this review with his "not up to our high standards" reply but the first words out of the waitresses mouth when I showed her my raw hamburger was "that happens all the time" My wife's replied "just average" when I asked how her breakfast was. I was surprised that they only comped my meal and not our entire order.

Great spot for breakfast. Bacon and sausage at the proper size and not shaved thin like some places. Fresh-cut home fries, too. Lots more to try on the menu, so I'll be back for sure.

Been here a few times now and the only thing I really have to say about this place is the portion sizes are sometimes inconsistent. The food is delicious, a special nod to the French connection. Homefries are well done.

Today was my second time eating there and disappointed both times. The first time was several weeks ago when I ordered the steak breakfast --- the steak was terrible, low quality, rubbery, tasteless. Today, potatoes were burned and they included a bunch of tiny burnt skin pieces -- how can you screw that up?!?!. Either way, the portion each time were small considering the price they charge. I'm most likely not going back. I usually go to Cora's -- they may be expensive but at least give big portions and the quality is good.

Best breakfast place in Thomas of the Saint. Our server Jennifer mixed up our food and bills but it was really dead so its understandable and she is wonderful. The coffee here tastes like coffee. Great place.

Don't go! Moldy toast!! Can't imagine if they serve moldy bread, what else is expired and they serve us?? Too many breakfast choices to waste my money on this place. They never even offered us a break on the bill (at least take the price of the toast off). Classless place!! You should be ashamed!
