Delicious hamburger! Friendly staff, waitress had a little trouble with our order. I'm sure they have delicious cheeseburgers also but we didn't get our cheese..also no dill pickles ???? And I'm afraid cocktail napkins don't do it for me.. otherwise I'd give it a 5.. Definitely worth a stop.

A nice little spot for breakfast. You really can't beat their all you can eat breakfast buffet. Always friendly service.

Great long standing, well known local eatery where you find many of the senior lot happily chowing down on good grub at great prices, either on their own or with their families. My parents ate there regularly & everytime i visit, i can count on enjoying a meal at this restaurant.

It's usually very good but the server that we had was terrible. Didn't tell us her name, barely spoke, didn't come ask us how our food was, we had to go up to the other server for ketchup because she didn't talk to us at all. Other than that the food is always great.

Worst $30 spent. We got 2 breakfast buffets, but weren't told they weren't going to put anymore food out, there was no syrup, beans all stuck together and mushed, perogies burnt. Was told there was oj but the container was empty. We sat patiently waiting for our plates to be taken away or somehow at least acknowledged and nothing. The server ignored us while we were leaving because she was too busy talking to people that weren't at her serving tables, even when looking at us while we were asking for our bill we were ignored. Will never recommend this place.

Went here for breakfast and got an excellent meal at a reasonable price. You get a choice of 3 different kinds of home fries with your meal as well. You also get the choice of 2 different kinds of whole grain toast as well as just your normal white or whole wheat. Eggs were large unlike some other places in town. Staff were extremely courteous and friendly. I have paid more for less food at other places in town. So to sum it all up if you're looking for a good breakfast at a reasonable price then go here. They also offer a brunch special after 11:30 am.

Food is good. Always found service lacking. No waitress stopped to ask if food ok. Was never offered more coffee altho cup was empty when waitress delivered meals. Not the first such experience here.

The decor is slightly dated and simple but overall the food was very good and service was excellent. The fries were fresh and crisp. I would return if I was back in town

One star because zero isn't an option. This place is such a disaster that it's hard to know where to start. Between the lack of health precautions during a pandemic to the absent mindedness of the serving staff, it's a small miracle they're still in business. This unique experience began with dirty menus being slapped down on the table and the waitress walking away without so much as a good morning. Customers are being allowed to walk here there and everywhere without masks on. One bumped into a server, spilling coffee, which never was cleaned up. That same server dropped a creamer cup, looked at it and walked away. Then a customer stepped on it, causing it to explode on the ground, still never cleaned up. So a different customer, after 10 minutes of it still being there, put a chair over it so no one slipped. Ketchup bottles are being passed from table to table without being wiped down. We had to ask for ours to be cleaned after we noticed her grab it from another table that had just left. Was quickly wiped down with a dirty rag. WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC and they're not even taking basic measures to protect their customers, most of which are in a high risk age category. Service is slow and awful. Food was barely warm and unpleasant. We hadn't been there in about a year and now I remember why. I left there feeling like I needed a shower. I'll be reporting this autrosity to the health unit. Disgusting. Don't waste your money.

Very relaxing ,Have found prices on some dishes to be high for what you get,and others to be average with other places ,but portions small. Short staffed in my opinion, have waited to be served up to a half hr. Waitresses are quick and a pleasure to talk to ,they try to make your visit a pleasurable one.

Worst restaurant ever. Had to wait 30 minutes or more for lunch. Dirty table, no cutlery. Very cheap. I'm hypoglycemic also. So I feel my blood sugar going lower and lower and thought I would pass out. Not going back.

Came here. We were sat down in an old rundown restaurant. The waitress left and after waiting 20min we got up and left. We went to The Breakfast Place in Port Stanley which is amazing food and great service.

I had to come to Port Stanley for work, living out of St.Catharines, decided to stop in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Tried the soup of the day which was a spiked tequila chicken chowder and was taken aback by the flavors. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes quick, friendly service and delicious food!

Okay food but TERRIBLE service. If you're not a regular you basically get ignored. Will not be back. Update....okay I went back and need to change my review. Our service was much better and our server was pleasant and engaging. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were nasty so likely won't be back.

Great place to grab breakfast .. haven't eaten lunch there yet but seems to be a popular place for it. Great atmosphere friendly staff seat yourself laid back kinda place. Prices are super reasonable for what you get .. full breakfast for 5.99 hard to finish the amount they give you #5STARS

The food came to us quickly, unfortunately you could tell it had been sitting waiting to be ordered as it was cold. The service was awful, the waitress yelled from across the room that we could come up to the to when we were ready, she never came to fill up drinks. We have been doing tours of breakfast places in St. Thomas and this is the only place we didn't like.

Staff is very friendly, food is excellent and the portions are generous for the price. This is our favorite place to go for lunch now. I prefer the home cooked meal they serve over fast food any day! The baked goodies are a bonus to buy on the way out as well. A true hidden gem I wish I had known about sooner! Don't change a thing please! Can't wait to have lunch there again soon!

Visiting St. Thomas, I searched a nearby place for breakfast and was introduced here. Ordering my food for pickup, it was hot and ready when I arrived. The owners/staff were very nice and breakfast was really nice :)

Ordered fish, had to send back as it was undercooked. Second time the fish was done (as best as I could tell) but the batter was gummy under the initial top fry. Perhaps something else would be good

Have been coming to the Sunset Cafe for about 6 years. Their baking is fantastic. Quiches are the best - just like homemade! I usually stop for lunch if in the town of St. Thomas. It is on my way home. Any meal I've had is good. The staff are polite and will do anything for you.

Very very good. Couldn't decide what I wanted to try. Settled on a breakfast poutine and I recommend. Has everything you would have in a regular breakfast but on roasted taters with gravey and cheese curds. Will go again when I am in St.thomas again in the morning.
