We have eaten at Shebaz’s afew times over the last few years starting when they were in Port Stanley, then the Ultramar store and finally at their lovely new location. We recently ordered a family platter with pitas, hummus, rice, chicken and beef shawarma, kabobs, falafel, samosas, crispy fries and salad! Phew!! It was a ton of food and it was all very tasty! It fed 4 of us for supper and 2 big lunches the next day as well! I love the freshness of the salad with fresh veg, pickles, pickled turnip and fresh parsley! Yum!! The inside of the restaurant looks really nice with room for quite afew tables when the time comes again for eat in dining! Nice to have homemade ethnic options right here in town to enjoy!

Shebaz Shawarma is my lifeline when I have to skip my dishes. Doris and Team’s magic and care are a blessing for even a vegetarian such as myself. Their non-veg options are absolute hits favoured by my friends. Definitely try their selection of platters, and please wash off your sins by meditating on every bite of Gabriel’s hand-baked Mediterranean sweets! I must mention that these kind hearts and good samaritans care about the environment, should you bring your own clean glass food containers and wholeheartedly opt to skip plastic bags and cutlery. I am beyond excited to see them open their restaurant serving the community throughout the day. They certainly have come a long way as a business and businesspeople, hoping across from Port Stanley with the town’s very first Shawarma 101 to a takeout place operating inside a convenience store complex in St. Thomas to a full-fledged restaurant, serving #StThomasProud.

We were so excited to order from here based on the reviews. It was awful. The grade leaves look and taste like they wete purchased at the grocery store cold food section. We spent $56 for 4 different items and none of it was good, the Shwarma fries were the only thing that was somewhat decent. Would not recommend

Very nice staff. Tried Gulab Jamun for the first time. They are okay. Tastes like honey. Chicken schwarma bowl was okay. Seemed a little pricey. Chicken samosa was good, a little spicy. Beef samosa was amazing. Shawarma fries were okay.

Amazing! I've tried two things from shebaz so far, chicken Tikka masala and the butter chicken, and they've been fantastic. The rice is perfect, the amount of meat and sauce is more than enough, and the flavour hits all the right places. the food gets to you really quickly, and the staff are all pleasant and helpful, especially the woman (whom I assume owns the restaurant) at the cash. THEY ALSO HAVE KULFI,!!! An amazing frozen treat with many unique and complex flavors to choose from. We eneded up grabbing the pistachio, turmeric, and dried fruit ones today, and all of them were SO GOOD. Definitely try one of these on a nice hot day. Thank you so much, shebaz, we will definitely be coming back soon! (So glad you guys moved closer to us. )

I ordered a shawarma salad and the server doused it in garlic sauce that I didn’t like without asking. After that the owner was being so rhude to me about making a new salad he forgot menu items that were supposed to be included such as dolma. The entire salad was iceberg lettuce and he put a teaspoon of tabouli. My husbands Indian food came cold. Definitely not worth $40.00. Never eat here

I have eaten here 5 times now. I have had no issues whatsoever until now. The food and portion before this visit was great and felt that I got my money worth. I was craving onion rings and since the portion were previously pretty big so a friend and I decided we would split the order. However when I picked up my food I was shocked to see the container was a fraction of the size before.. I honestly paid $5 for 10 onion rings, honestly feel like I got ripped off. Not sure if I will return. Really unhappy

We visited for lunch. Not only was the food amazingly delicious but the service was also wonderful. And portions were very generous. My son forgot his brand new winter coat at the restaurant and because we live nearly 2 hrs away, they offered to mail it to me! I am so thankful for such honest people in this world. Had a really nice meal tonight, ordered the butter chicken, one beef and one vegetable samosa, plus some baklava for good measure. I'm not sure how new this place is but when I heard there was a curry shop in a gas station I had to check it out, my favourite curry place is in a truck stop and I dont think St. Thomas has ever had any middle eastern restaurants so I had to check it out. Started with the samosas the beef one was savoury with a nice cardamom taste and good kick of heat, the veggie one though, man get me a dozen of those, not your typical potato and pea samosa, we got potatoes, peas, corn AND chickpeas from what I could see lol. Really nice, ate them so fast I forgot about the tamarind dipping sauce. Butter chicken gravy was noice and thick, I hate when you get a watery gravy and you're eating soupy rice at the end. The chicken pieces err chunks where amazingly tender, and full of flavour, I want more, the rice.... its rice. Now the baklava, I'm picky, I find alot of them end up being dry or just way to heavy with the rose water. Upon first inspection it looked like it could be a bit dry but when you bite into it you are surprised with how flaky, and ooey and gooey it really is. Was a really nice end to a meal not overly sweet, great filling to flaky ratio, would be nice with a after dinner coffee or tea. Overall, I would recommend Shebaz to anyone who is interested in trying something other than pizza or burgers without going to far outside of your flavour bubble but want to try something different. I look forward to trying the lamb and vegetable curries plus whatever else they may come up with.

My husband and I were celebrating my birthday with a lovely road trip along Lake Erie and we were looking for a restaurant that would excite our taste buds. Shebaz's in St.Thomas didn't disappoint. The staff are so helpful with the choices and accommodated my food allergies. My husband had the lamb shawarma bowl and I had the chicken shawarma bowl. The portions are huge! We made a bit of a dent in the meal and look forward to having the leftovers! We also split an order of beef samosas and potatoes with garlic sauce - yum! You just can't walk out of Shebaz's hungry. Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. We definitely will be back anytime we're craving a shawarma meal. Thanks to Shebaz's staff for a lovely experience - it's worth the drive to St.Thomas!

Wow! Just, absolutely amazing! I placed an order through skip the dishes, and after checking out, realized it was pickup not delivery. I called the store, and had the, I believe owner, argue with me about delivery... In a good humour way. She stated I could pay a delivery person (outside contract) 5 dollars for the delivery. I didn't have the cash, so "owner insisted she pay the 5, and I get it back to her later, on a later date order. That isn't in my soul. I ended up finding some cash, spoke with owner on another call, and she found a cheap outside contract delivery company to deliver. All in all, great food, exceptional service, and great people.
