Went to St Thomas Swiss Chalets take out it was the worst meals I have ever seen over cook bake potato under cooked bloody chicken. While I was standing there waiting for my meals notice the only cooking happening was microwave beaverage machine leaking all over the floor disgusting. Called back to talk to the manager and she defended the meal asked if they had a health inspection lately said yes and passed, thinking needs to be revisited.Not sure where this review goes but I hope the owner sees it and hope the franchise sees it as well this was an absolute disgusting experience.Will not be going back ever Swiss Chalets needs to investigate St Thomas had to hit a star to post it should bo zero.

Well it looks like I'm not the only person that has had a bad experience with this restaurant. I purchased a Burger and Poutine this evening and waited 18 minutes for my food. It was a good thing there was no gravy in my poutine because I didn't get a fork or napkins with it anyway. When I called to complain, the manager said that I never asked for one. Didn't think I need to. Sounds to me like they are ripping customers off to save a buck. Instead of referring me to your survey link, maybe actually change your idea of customer service! Will not recommend!!

Horrible experience!!! We showed up with our kids at 4:15 pm on a Sunday and there were only two employees in the entire restaurant! It took 10 minutes before they had time to take our order and another 20 minutes before our order was ready. The restaurant was filthy and in need of some major renos. There was no manager in the store. The staff did their best but management failed miserably. They failed to schedule enough staff for the weekend summer rushes...supper staff needs to start at 4:00 not 5:00 then maybe they would have had time to clean up before the rush started. Very poor planning on the management's part. I do not recommend this Harvey's location! Totally disappointing.

Ordered two plant life burgers, onions rings and a blue raspberry slushie this evening. 20 minutes to be acknowledged as a walk in customer. Burgers tasted like beef grease, and I watched some dude touching a bunch of orders with no glove. The person packaging the food had a glove on, why didn't the cooks? Onion rings were saturated in oil and the blue raspberry slushie was half full (possibly just in the wrong cup size but at that point I just wanted to leave.) Joining the rest of reviewers here, will not be back, lol.

Haven't been to this Harvey's in years because it wasn't good so we tried to give it another shot and it's even worse. Burnt chicken fingers stale buns no bacon raw french fries and out of onion rings two weekends in a row and it still took 15 minutes to get it do your self a favor and go to wendys

Ordered 3 different meals off of skipthedishes (buffalo chicken sandwich, Angus burger and chicken nuggets) Apparently they are out of all 3 things. Slow service even on a good day. This place is trash, don't waste your money and go to Wendy's right across the street for great food and service.

Stopped in Aug 30 and ordered two burgers, rings and two salads. First burger was quick, garnished and sat on the warming tray without heat lamps on. Then waited and waited and waited. Finally a second burger shows up and the rings a few minutes later but no staff to get to us. No sign of our salads AND we were not the only people waiting an inordinate amount of time. When they brought the second burger, it was a single not a double as ordered and paid for. By this time, the first burger and rings were cold. Clearly something needs to change. They refunded our money and we went elsewhere. It will be a long time before we venture to this restaurant again.

Ordered food got a kids meal was told juice box was extra money which it isnt. Then got told there was no chicken. Then got our food and was missing fries. Then had the doors locked behind us and had to drive through the drive threw to get our order fixed. Turned into a 30 minute ordeal

I would give this a negative review if I could. Service was worse than slow. We could see the staff through the drive thru window and many of them were not wearing hair nets. Cashier didn't ask for my scene card, and I lost out on 15x the points. Even after waiting so long, we still had to pull off to the side to wait for our food. Once we got away and the food was handed out, we found out that the fries were inedible. Looked like they had been cooked 5 times and we were left with the crumbs and rock solid fries. All of our fry orders had to be tossed. At least the one order of onion rings was edible. Won't be coming here again for a long long time.

If I could give this zero stars I would. The service at this restaurant is unbelievably awful. The first time I ordered through the drive thru. When I got home I realized they gave me the wrong order. The second time I ordered thru the drive, I politely mentioned to the employee the last time they mixed up my order and to please make sure it was correct. I then waited almost 25 mins for my food. When I raised my concern to the employee all he said was sorry. Fyi - Swiss chalet is as equally awful in terms of service. Consistently a disappointment and inconvenience. I will not be returning.

We waited 45 minutes, order was misplaced initially, wrong the second time, and finally once we received it a third time, I was quite over it. The supervisor was not being helpful to the staff as she quickly resorted to blaming employees and yelling at them. I've never felt so poorly for the workers in my life. Communication may not be her strong suit but she certainly cannot blame the employees for that. Training newbies can be tough, but there was so much unnecessary blame and annoyance being dealt.

The absolute worst experience I have had in a Harvey's, the dining room was so dirty, we decided on to go. Our order was wrong from the start and when I asked about it they told me I was wrong! I told them I didn't order what I was charged for, they again told me I was wrong. The food not only wasn't what I ordered it was ice cold Won't ever be back

Quick service with a smile. The food was cooked well and the portion size was adequate. I appreciate that the straws are no longer plastic. I ordered from the Swiss chalet menu. I am exceptionally grateful that the chicken, fries and standard fry gravy are gluten-free. Thank-you for offering a safe option for people with gluten sensitivities. I’ll be back!

Zero stars earned. Horrible service in the drive-thru. 45 minutes total waiting, received my order of 2 items incorrectly 3 times, yes, 3 times. I gave up on them and asked for a refund, there was 2 managers and both said they don't give refunds. I guess they think my time isn't valuable, the manager had the nerve to ask me to go park and wait for a 4th time, for a refund! I put it in park and waited at the drive-thru window until he came to his senses. Don't waste your time here like I did. It's the last time I ever go to a Harvey's.

My brother gave me a gift card for Harvey's so we went to use it. I ordered a poutine. My wife wanted to order chicken but they had just ran out and we would have had to wait awhile for more. I think my son ordered a burger. The food was good.

I dont go there often but this time I did. Good burger. Got a duable burger. Decently thick patty and good ingrediants. One thing I noticed is they have picnic tables outside including a wheelchair one. No other fast food chain in new liskeard has picnic tables which is a shame but points for harveys.

Went in for some lunch on the run before work. Waited in line for 11 mins but not a single person would come take my order. 3 more people came in and lined up behind me. I made eye contact and waved at 3 different workers in the kitchen, they just ignored me went back to whatever they were doing in the back. Called out "hello, you have a line up growing out here!" Still no one came. Everyone in line left, still no one said anything to the customers just walking out. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will not be returning to our ordering from this location again.

Ok. I know we are dealing withe pandemic and things are a little different these days. Please don't order so much product that when you serve your customers you don't give a broken dried up bun. Fed most of it to the seagulls. Have been here before sadly may not be back. The other hotdog also had a dry bun but was together. The service was super slow as well. Again staff downcause of covid I would recommend the best workers be there at busy times to push the service through.

I went here tonight and I ordered the Swiss chalet quarter chicken which when I sat down I realized that it was hard and kind of cold and I HATE complaining but I went up to the guys working and explained and he was so apologetic and gave me a new one right away. And then came out to ask me if it was better which it was much better and gave me a pie! Such a nice gesture! To the guy that did this I give you 5 stars for your customer service! Thank you thank you! And I never write reviews but when work should be noticed I make it aware!

Awful. Again. I'm done coming here. Seems every visit gets worse. I've always considered Harvey's one of my favorite restaurants, especially with Swiss Chalet. They consistently serve cold food, or dried out from sitting under the heat lamp waiting for a hungry customer. Today, the place was filthy, condiment station almost empty, fries cold and burger old. No Swiss Chalet chicken as the rotisserie was broken(these things happen I guess). Just another disappointing visit to New Liskeard Harvey's. Sorry, but you're out of chances.

Did not enjoy it. Service was slow it was about 2 in the afternoon. Our coffee cups were dirty and sticky, one had lipstick on it. The wait staff was more interested in an old man and whether he want more coffee or wine. We had the quarter chicken one piece was about the size of th back of my had the other was double. Worst fast food restaurant you can go to. We were 9 people, everyone placed their orders and started to customize. Even though the order was prepaid, they didn't hand-over the orders as they go. When asked that how would they know which order belong to who? Worker said that she is giving to the person who took the order and he knows. At the end they gave us all the orders mixed into two bags with no marking or any way to identify whose order is where. Now when we complained about this, the supervisor said: I don't know, it's her fault. She was clearly new and the senior member stood beside her, as it was her job and he didn't have to help or guide. When it was all messed up, he simply blamed her. No one took the responsibility for the mess up, neither anyone even apologized.

Location had gone down hill the last few years. We usually look forward on visiting this location during car trips. The staff are friendly, and helpful, not a staffing issue. Bathrooms are horrible, they need a guy and makeover. Don't touch anything in the bathroom without a tissue.

Been going the last few weeks, each time we're there the wait for the food is long. We never get a fork or napkins, so we have to go in. This recent time, when they brought the food I asked for a fork, she went to get one and came out stating we don't have plastic forks! I responded with how is one to eat a poutine without a fork, she replied I can ask my boss! My husband walked into the store and got a plastic fork. Really? This store seems unorganized and not a typical Harvey's restaurant. We won't be going be going back, such a disappointment!

Extremely slow; waited 15 mins to get a double burger with frings. I saw the cook moving patties, cheese and buns with bare hands! Yeh, no gloves, no tongs! (probably same thing happening in other places as well) Place doesnt have proper ventilation either; go there around 12-1pm and you can see the smoke. (Probably because it was never designed for a burger restaurant in the first place) Give it two stars because it tasted ok, onion rings are good but not the fries .

First they refuse to give veggie burgers for their promotion because apparently employees didn’t know about what is there promotion and then order one poutine and they didn’t tell me how much time it gonna take, I waited for more than 25 min in drive thru and still didn’t get food and when I called the store they said it is gonna take more time because they are making something, I paid for this order and I have to leave without getting it because I have to pick order worth $92 from some other place but thanks to them that place is closed now and I lost more than $100, they will take your money and will not give you food.

Ordered a grilled chicken wrap, small fries, a side of gravy, a large drink, and a poutine. The poutine was put in the bag on its side, all the gravy and fries were coming out on the box. None of the fries were cooked through for both the small fries and poutine. Chicken wrap was squished by the poutine that was placed poorly in the bag. It's small, but we didn't receive the side of gravy that we paid for. It's a pandemic, I get it, but this isn't the first time the service has been subpar at this location. The chicken in my wrap was rock hard and had the same texture of tooth floss. I feel like they used the unuelsed parts of the chickens from Swiss chalet

I was at harney today with my mom.and son it was crazy busy and u know when a place like that is super busy ppl arent always the friendliest. The guy making our food was definitely the exception!! I've been to this place a few times thanks to the coupons I get in the mail. Although I do have to wait a couple minutes longer than some fast food places, the food is so damn delicious that I really don't care. From my experience the staff there is good spirited and positive, and from what I've seen from peeking in the back the kitchen is kept immaculately clean. Definitely will be going back and I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely deserve zero stars after tonight. Our order was taken at 6:36pm. At 7:20pm I am driving away with my correct order. It was brought to us wrong taken away brought back wrong taken away brought back. Quality food my 1yr old daughter wouldn't have been able to bite into the rock hard chicken nuggets. We took order back in. Management told us 5 mins .... another 10 plus mins they finally come out with our order... no refund or offer of a free pie drink etc. We have given harveys more than one fair chance but tonight was it. Absolutely disgusted. I told the poor young girl we knew it wasn't her fault but she had to hear our frustration.... poor management for sure. And they weren't even busy. I sent in a review using the website and info on my receipt. Sane similar review as above.

Waited in line for 30 minutes before our order was taken. Manager came out and said there were too many people in the store (covid restrictions) and that we would have to leave. The only reason we were allowed to stay is because our order had already been taken. After 40 minutes in line our order was finally completed. During our time in the store we overheard the same manager being rude and condescending to staff & 3 people returned because orders were incomplete and items were missed. When we finally got home with our food, starving, the fries were cold, soggy, and with no seasoning. No plans on returning at any point in time.

Waited 45 minutes for our food, after getting our order wrong twice. Got home and opened my burger and it was someone else's. The entire time we were at the restaurant staff were yelling at each other making it a very uncomfortable environment for customers. Do yourself a favour and never go here.

Worst experience. Ordered via the app for a quick pick up at 8:30pm. Get there and doors were locked. So I drove around to the speakers and no one acknowledged me so after a minute I drove around to the pick up window. I saw at least 6-8 workers including the manager walking back and forth inside and no one opened the window to talk to me. I finally called the restaurant and after two attempts someone answered the phone. I explained I was outside to pick up a mobile order. I’ll I got was “I’ll check on that for you”. At least 20min after I got there I finally got my order. My burger was missing the one topping I ordered and the fries were old and gross and cold. Got home and saw that there are tons of bad reviews saying the same things. Obviously this place needs new management. I’m never going back.

I normally frequent Harvey's, but I haven't been to a Harvey's/Swiss Chalet hybrid or Swiss Chalet before, I wouldn't go back. The fries were limp, mushy things, not crispy like a regular Harvey's. I don't know if it is a Swiss Chalet thing or just this location, but it was very disappointing. Also, the pricing was more on the register than what was posted on the signs.

Been there twice lately and its my last. The doors entering into the restaurant are very dirty with finger prints and other splatter which shows the doors have not been cleaned for some time. First thing you see before entering. Shake was water down not like before. Washrooms very dirty and smelly. Fries where hard. Yes I never complained to the owner or manger but my last visit. FYI, New owners.

Harvey,s has always been my favorite fast food burger joint, if I had the choice between McDonald's or Harvey,s I go to Harvey,s every time this location was no diffrent then any other Harvey,s great friendly service and great food.

I have had 2 recent orders through SKIP the DISHES that were wrong. The restaurant blames SKIP even though it's not SKIP's fault. Fries are horrid. Based on other reviews here, I'm not sure how this place is still in business.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. We are staying in a local hotel for a snowmobile trip. The temperature outside is -27 I call the restaurant before to place a order and the gentleman on the phone said I couldn’t place a order I had to do take out or drive through. When we got to the store the door was locked we were pulling a 20foot trailer so it wouldn’t fit in the drive through but we were advised that we could walk through the drive trough. We waited ten min in the freezing cold to finally get up to the window and they didn’t have any chicken ready. Worst customer service.

Poor service, very slow in getting order to us. Restaurant was by no means busy, staff not doing anything. Lady on front of us waited 25 minutes for her order. We ordered a burger meal and a chicken dinner which we had to ask for as we saw it just sitting there. We wont be back. Can make a better burger at home.

Went there last week with only one car ahead of us and was still at least 20 minutes waiting for the food. When we left we had one more drive thru to go through and while doing that my son was eating out of the Harvey's bag and letting us know what he was eating - it wasn't even something we ordered. We received someone else's order. Went back to Harvey's and our food was still there so that was good so we didn't have to wait another 20 minutes however all the food was cold. Cold onion rings are horrible. We are frequent visitors as I like the veggie burger and don't want to see them close down but they really need an overhaul. They could use some training from Wendy's drive thru which is always very quick. You are never asked to pull over and wait for your food at a Wendys. it is consistently long waits at harveys - every single time i could really cook the food myself quicker. The fries have been horrible lately - undercooked and dont even seem to be the same - not freshly cut anymore- taste and look like frozen ones. I hope they can figure things out before they get closed down from lack of business due to their service and food quality.

Seems like Harveys in St. Thomas has gone downhill recently. There was about 7 SkipTheDishes drivers were waiting around for orders, our order (done through the app) took a while around 30 minutes to an hour to complete. That wasn't the only issue, the bun is stale like, the burgers were cold AND the Pepsi is flat & watery. Overall, something serious needs to be done in order for us to even CONSIDER coming back anytime soon, and I usually never give reviews, but this is an exception.

The Swiss Chalet take out entrance and order window inside is very poorly set up. You end up standing in the way of other visitors going to the washroom when you are waiting your turn. Also, when you get your turn to order at the window there is no menu visible to order from. There was a festive special poster to the left of the window (there were no prices on it) which didn't matter because when I got my trunk to order I was told they were sold out. Overall a very odd experience today!

Horrible restaurant. I try to avoid this location. The bathrooms always smell and the mens bathroom is flooding and they do nothing about it. They got my order wrong and I saw them forget to make someone else's order completely.

Went to the drive thru order Harveys spent over $40 for the family by the time we got home after waiting over 15 minutes in drive thur open the angus ringer burger and it was plan just meat and the onion rings that looked very old, this burger is close to $8 alone they never asked what we wanted on it and the picture that was shown had the works. Very disappointed to have spend so much money for a plan Angus burger on a hard bun. The spicy chicken signature poutine was very plan no spices at all, the other food was ok but still very disappointed to think you have what you wanted and you don't when you get home. Harveys new liskeard is the place to have a good meal, as they also offer swiss chalet menu. Much clean restaurant and always the fast and best customer service as compared to other places in the town. They happily accept the coupons and dont get pissed off when there is a huge line up of customers. This restaurant always have a full staff, no one running around and messing with the orders. Always a great visit.

I was passing through town and grabbed Harvey's for dinner. I should have taken a picture of this dogs breakfast. I ordered a Big Harv combo with onion rings and NO PICKLES I said this twice and the guy confirmed. I drive to the lookout point off of Highway 11 open it up and this sloppy looking burger was laying there with two huge pickles on it and beside it these burnt, dry, wizzened up onion rings. All this for $14. I regretted every bite. Should have gone to the Mexican place in town.

The worst Harvey's I've ever been to. The first time I went a few months ago I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for the staff who were talking in the back to come to the register. I got fed up and left. I went back tonight thinking maybe it was just an off day for the staff last time. Waited forever while the confused staff kept walking over to the warmer where our order was clearly sitting (my burger already had been dressed and wrapped) and then returning back to the counter without the order, watched another staff grab the burger that already had my condiments on it and then the staff argued over what order it belonged to. During this some scruffy unkept man (employee? Not sure he wasn't in a uniform) in the back was screaming and ranting at everyone else. When my daughter asked for a fork the staff took another 5 minutes to find a fork. We didn't eat our food, it was cold and gross and we just left without bothering to ask for a refund as we didn't want to listen to the yelling creep while waiting for them to figure out how to do a refund. DO NOT BOTHER SETTING FOOT IN THIS DUMP.

Hadn't been in years, used to be great food. Into the Wellington Rd., London, Harvey's Nov 14/2017 and ordered a single Angus burger. Arrived smaller than the cheapest McDonald's version and priced at over $7.00 after tax. You've got to be kidding..!! Guess what? I won't be in again.

Angus cheese Burger combo less than great. Asked for no onions, of course I got onions on it. Asked for Tomato, of course no tomatoes on it. Had to ask for serviettes of course, so the 2 of us got 3. Asked for ketchup for the 2 of us, got 3. Tons of pepper though, if only we had wanted it. All this & get in all dropped into 1 bag. Not impressed. It’s not like it was busy because it wasn’t. Not sure I’ll be back , this is the 2nd time food here has been meh!

It sucked! Waited 15 mins at the drive through window, then should have know to check my order, but waited until I left the parking lot, then checked and found I was missing the fries that go with the combo. Turned around, went back and asked for the fries they missed. Waited 2 or 3 mins, got handed my bag, without a so sorry, here is a coupon, or we gave you an extra for the troubles, nope nothing except 'here you go'! Get home and fries looked like a baby fry? About 12 in a mini box, covered in grease and barely cooked. Burgers tasted like leather and had been sitting for a while, and Angus burger was practically raw. Will not be going here again!

Traveling through the area and stopped to get something to eat. Service was very slow, but the food was good and hot. Nice to have the choice between Harvey's for burgers and Swiss Chalet for chicken under the same roof. A little dirty, but I guess that is to be expected when it is busy with travellers.

I eat at Harveys often as I work right next door. I have been mobile ordering for a while now to ensure that I get my lunch on time when it is extremely busy in the restaurant. Waited 10min for 2 employee's to make eycontact with us and wander off to the back and hide. Asked at 5min if there open and one replyed yes right before diapering to the back for another 5min and turned the front signage lights off. Bravo to Harvey's and Swiss Chalet for bringing back paper straws ..one less bit of plastic to choke our earth on....I wanna see more of the food industry follow suit until then ..this is where I'll be spending my Viola Desmonds(10's) As for some of the reviews I've read that were negative. ..if you reward the good practices of this company (ie paper straws and humane animal practices) by frequency of purchasing from them..the franchise can then afford to up their game with a more competent staff...to ensure better service...my first meal in probably 15 years was from StThomas today and I will be returning ..until McD's,BKand any of the other big fast food chains change there ways ..I'm boycotting them

We decided to stop at this harveys while we were in St Thomas for a wrestling tournament. We love harveys, especially their onion rings and fries. I politely asked the women helping us to cook our fries well done. We waited for an unusally long time even for well done fries. Other customers came and went and we waited upwards of 20 mins. When our order finally came out they had given us fries from Swiss Chalet. The fries were soggy and under cooked. The burgers were a mess with everything falling off of them and the bun was hard. I would never ever return to this location. The service was horrible and the food was disgusting.

Worst dining experience ever!!! Roof is leaking everywhere! Employees said it was from air conditioning. Leaking on us and the food and even the employees!!!! Water dripping right through the camera and light fixtures right onto cash register and debit machine. Water leaking on corner of our table where we ate. Food took forever!!! And we were the only people ordering. Our pop was FLAT AND WARM. They forgot to give me my fries so I had to walk back to get them and get leaked on again. Water leaked into our food! Roof is about to cave in!!!! Very very dangerous place.

Absolutely horrible, I knew the other reviews were going to be the same. After watching 5 other vehicles get their food brought out to them, and then speeding off, I should have known before I handed over my cash. 25min in the drive thru for a burger and fries. And at that point, it was all cold. Not worth eating. Something obviously needs to change there, or just close the drive thru window!
