Huge Sign outside and Google say OPEN AT 8am. Tried going in at 8:20am for a family breakfast DOORS LOCKED,No One Answering the phone, 2 other families trying to get in. Went to Sunset Grill, Open, everyone up beat, great food and service. Called a manager at Dennys to inquire said “Someone’s Alarm Didn’t Go Off” Unacceptable…Hope the Owner enjoys losing money due to a “Faulty Alarm” 2 Thumbs Down…Go to Sunset Grill and have a pleasant time.

Finally a excited about a new restaurant. I took my daughter and grandson for lunch.what a mistake that was.our server was nice our drinks came quick but after that it all went downhill. We finally got our ordor which took a long time and it was cold.we ate it cause we were extremely hungry but that was ok cause nobody came back and asked if our meal was ok in fact never seen the server again. Tasteless also. No refills offered nothing.finally another server who was training came over.we voiced our concerns and she would talk to the manager who was standing up at the front with his hands behind his back. Now just saying but if you were a manager and a complaint was said would u not walk over and say sorry about all this. Nope he kept standing there but gave us 20% off the bill. Maybe they should take extra courses on how to be a proper manager .very very disappointed!!!!!!!!

I just left. We got in. Gave them my number and name and was seated. 15 minutes later nobody had even asked us for our drinks. If I'm going to drop $20 per person I expect to have a drink shortly after being seated. I didn't even get to eat as whoever our server was forgot about us, or so it seems. The restaurant was not even operating at max capacity by COVID standards. We left and went someone else. Disappointed for our first visit.

My first choice for breakfast now that indoor dining is permitted again. Excellent in every way. Great choices on the menu here for lunch and dinner too, and l'm definitely coming back for more time with food and a few cold ones on the Denny's patio. Did I mention the coffee? I'd go out of my way to have it. And I can't miss mentioning the Denny's staff... upbeat, friendly and fast. Love this place!

Portions too small or prices too high. Buffalo chicken sandwich with rings was 18$. Sandwich was only tossed with dressing on one side and bottom of sandwich was burnt. Overall tasted okay but that price isn't what you want to spend for OK. Dined with two others. Burger was ordered for one and described as undersized with a cheap grade of bun. Fell apart early in consumption. Chicken fingers were ordered for second lunch guest who loved the fries that came with it but didn't like it only came with 2 fingers.

Very pricey for a Denny's, food was not very good, nachos just had a pile of spicy chili drenched on top and a bit of queso here and there. We got cheesy tater tots instead of fries for an extra charge of 1.99 for that we got 6 little tots. This is not how we remember Denny's it was a family favorite but we won't be back. The menu is terrible few options.

My wife and I decided to come go breakfast and it was the Worst service ever. I know they are new but god our server was so slow. We were sitting for 20 minutes before we even got to order. The server only had 3 other tables. They didn’t check in with us at all during our meal We only saw the waitress when she brought us our food and took the order. I had to flag her down to pay as we were sitting for 15+ minutes waiting to pay. Then something small but she asked if we wanted to split the bill or if it was on one bill I found that very strange. Disappointing since we were excited for Denny’s to come but will continue to go to London.

Barely adequate My partner and I went to Denny's in St. Thomas for breakfast on Sunday Sep 13/20. There was a line-up and we left our phone number and were told they'd call us when a table opened up. No problems. We waited but never got a call so we went back in and gave our name and they had to look back on the previous sheet to find us. In other words, they skipped over us. Service was prompt and the restaurant was clean. My partner ordered the waffle slam and I ordered the Berry Crep(1). Both orders came but my partners egg was not cooked properly and had to be sent back. Both orders were minimally warm. My partners waffle wouldn't melt the butter she put on it. I was expecting a great new enterprise in St. Thomas after waiting almost a year and quite frankly I was disappointed. Most breakfasts anywhere in town come with toast - geez it costs them next to nothing to offer it and clients expect it for breakfast. Toast is extra! Coffee is $2.99 Our total before tip was $32.27 and the portions were light. My choice for breakfast will continue to be the Country Charm Cafe. The quality is superior and price point is well below Denny's. But it was new and and it deserved a try. Bottom line is we won't be going back.

Good food and service, just like all their other locations. Downside is food is expensive compared to alternatives in St Thomas otherwise would have given 4 stars.

This is my second time to this location. Both times I had great food, but this time Kimberly went above and beyond to provide impeccable service. First time I had the build your own breakfast, this time I had the classic Benny. I'd order either again. Delicious. Benny could have been a touch hotter. Nothing to complain about though.

Ordered through Skip and the food was not very good, but to add to that halfway through the meal my boyfriend bit into a hairball ???? not just a single piece of hair, it looked like someone cleaned their brush out in it! ???? Will absolutely never eat here or order from here again.

Hostes seated on upper level by bar. No one knew we were there and had to get hostess attention we hadn't been waited on. She took our order and found our waitress who took her time bringing coffees. Food was okay but 55+ omelet with hash browns would have been better with half the onions in them. All in all not the 1st impression we were expecting.

Terrible customer service. Would never come here again. We got take out. Literally the server gave us so much attitude. We were told that we would have to wait for her to serve all her inside customers before she would bring out the ketchup and cutlery she forgot to put in our bag. Like how is that acceptable. Went to speak with manager and ask for a refund. Manager refused to give a refund and tried to use her body to physically remove us from the store. No social distance. No respect. Just outrageous how we were treated.

The absolute worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. We went October 31st at 10am and didn't get out of there until noon. Our server wasn't attentive, unfortunately; didn't ask how our meal was, didn't top up drinks and just relatively seemed very overwhelmed. I don't eat eggs, so my options are usually quite limited but I absolutely loved the "build your own" option they had! I would go back again in hopes of having better service but definitely not worth a third time if the same issue is present.

We have eaten here 3 times in first week,the staff and manager are very polite and friendly, we have waited a little longer than usual but it is okay as long as they serve drinks while waiting. but lets consider that it is new and they are all trying to iron out their glitches, so lets give them a chance and just for the record I don't work for them

Thank you SO much!!! I have a very restrictive diet yet they were very helpful & accommodating, and the food was excellent! I had a Beyond burger on a gluten free English muffin, which was huge and fluffy and honestly the best GF bread product I’ve ever had! They let me substitute the cheese, held What I needed held, and let me substitute plain (at my request) nacho chips for fries. So pleased! Will definitely be back!

Ordered the double cheeseburger and think it might have been deep fried grease was just dripping down my hands and arm wife had lasagna and it was like soup lasagna appetizer quesadilla had hair in it not a great first experience going to Denny's staff was polite but food was gross

They have a nice patio area to eat at, although I was not super impressed with the Eggs Bennie I ordered. The sauce was dry on top, the eggs were over cooked so they had no runny yolk and they forgot I ordered hashbrowms which were undercooked when they did arrive unfortunately. I would however recommend their Oreo milkshake and pancakes!

The pancakes where good but maybe a bit dense, their Oreo milkshake was GREAT! Their eggs Benedict was super over cooked, they didn't use enough hollandaise sauce, and it had a gross slightly hardened film over it. It didn't seem fresh.

On a Tuesday after 12 it was so slow we waited 10 min without being seated as the only waitress in the entire restaurant ran food to the tables and topped off coffee. Not her fault and she was very kind however whoever the boss is here has no idea what they are doing since it was essentially rush hour and they had a single waitress working the floor. Unfortunate considering how highly i regard Denny’s in london.

The food was as good as I have found at Denny's in the states. The only other Canadian Denny's we have tried was Highbury and 401 in London, which turned me off Denny,s for a while. This was a pleasant surprise, food was first rate and could have been from one of the Denny's on highway 75 heading south. Tables were clean when we got there and as soon as someone left table was cleaned. All staff were very pleasant. I don't know who runs this restaurant but for a new place they have done a lot right.

We love going to denny's but the closest one was a 20 minute drive so we never went there too often. We went to this new one in st.thomas, the service was amazing and the food was very flavorful. The all day pancakes are great. So many flavors to choose from. For dinner, you can't go wrong with their steaks. Definitely would recommend.

Went for Sunday morning breakfast, the restaurant had about 8 other tables of customers. My server was very nice and prompt. I ordered the All American Slam, and to be honest they should send it back to America. It comes with bacon (one strip cut in half), 2 sausage links, 3 eggs scrambled with shredded cheddar cheese melted on top, hash browns and toast. The bacon and sausage were not even warm enough to be considered lukewarm. The hash browns were lukewarm, the eggs were ok and the toast was basically dry since they were not even close to being buttered to the edge and served with no jam. I had tea to drink and meal cost was $19.19 plus tip. For me Denny's fails on food quality, temperature and price.

A friend and I went out for breakfast at Denny's. It was the worst omelette we've ever had in our lives and the waitress apologize for the small servings and said if we wanted more she'd go back and ask the cook. I took a Cobb salad and it was pitiful. I will never go back until I'm assure that things have changed and it is not worth going there and I felt the place wasn't really clean either.

I was very excited for Denny's to come to St. Thomas but our breakfast experience wasn't great. We had slow service (it wasn't busy), food was lukewarm (at best) and the portions were small for the price. Hopefully this place uses these comments as constructive criticism because I would like to see this restaurant do well.

We went for breakfast on Sunday. The hand sanitizers sat empty the whole time we were there so no hand cleaning was done by guests. One was replaced just as we were leaving. Food was lukewarm. There seemed to be too many people inside for my liking. I do, however, wish them well moving forward.

My new favourite place to eat in St. Thomas. Good is ready SO fast! Staff is so friendly. I ate at Denny's in London before and it was so underwhelming that I never went back. St. Thomas Denny's redeemed the whole chain for me! Will definitely be back!

Was a great experience! Service was slightly slow but the waitress was super friendly! (Plus she was the only one serving on the one side of the restaurant). Followed Covid protocol which was nice to see. Perfect portion sizes as well. Will definitely come back!

CHOCONANA PANCAKE BREAKFAST I came in today and tried the Choconana Pancake Breakfast, and they were the best pancakes I've ever had! They were very filling, but extremely delicious! I truly recommend trying these pancakes. ????????

Not satisfied with customer service. We ordered take out (first time) and once we got the order home half of one breakfast was missing. I called and the waitress on the phone so insincerely apologized over and over. She said they would have the order ready to be picked up ASAP so back out I went.. when I got to the store I was expecting at least an apology but nope, my cold, lonely eggs and bacon sat on the counter in a bag and the man that passed me the bag looked at me like he almost didn't believe me. Here's the thing - I don't complain much ever, people make mistakes but when a customer pays for a service (expensive service btw) and does not get the experience they had expected, you make it right PLUS more. In this case, I won't be ordering take out from Denny's St. Thomas again.
