Great pizza place. A little pricey but that's what you get in the downtown core next to Market Square. Service is good. Location is great with a good sized parking lot. I would recommend it for sure. The crusts are not amazing but decent.

Ordered take out from Vito's uptown. The BBQ chicken pizza was some of the worst pizza I've had. They used quality ingredients, however the whole middle of the pizza was a lake of BBQ sauce with rest of the pizza was littered with large dough bubbles void of any toppings - nearly inedible. The garlic fingers and cheesecake were OK but nothing special.

Really good, the service is amazing! Food isn't bad, I had the chicken wings with my sauce on the side so I can try different ones and they were really well made.

Vito's has been my go to restaurant for decades! Have always loved the food. Pizza is really cheesy - you don't need to ask for extra cheese. Their Caesar Salad is the best ever. Very unique flavour. Their pastas are all delicious. Friendly staff and nice location. I recommend the Peel St. restaurant up town.

I got a Cesar salad for the first time ever from Vitos today and it was different I think I need to try it again to give my final thoughts but it was alright need to try it again. The service was quick and friendly for take-out !

Great service but the food needs some help. Homemade lasagna is not noodles mixed in sauce topped with cheese. And they use a cheap mozzarella cheese. I expected more from an Italian restaurant

I know pizza is pizza but nothing beats theirs. A little more expensive than some because they don't cheat you on toppings with quality products.Have had delivery done and had it arrive early and served hot Try it out I'm sure you'll enjoy it

Lunch or Dinner, you will not be disappointed. Caeser Chicken or ribs or pizza or .... All delicious! Lunch sized and lunch priced lunch menu. Saint John friendly staff who will look after you well. Have dinner here then go to the Imperial Theatre. A classy combo suggestion.

Staff is friendly, the building is nice, parking is a bit of a bummer. Foodwise, I've had the pizza, which was great. I've also had some of the pasta options which were kind of disappointing. Portions are huge, so it's a good place to go if your hungry.

This is for the Vitos Restaurant on Rothesay Ave. The food was fairly basic and the Hawaiian Pizza was bland. I was suprised; I have just moved back to Saint John and Vitos made my favourite pizza those many years ago. Sady not now.

When I go home to Saint John, I want to experience Vito's. This place has the best Italian food along with another place in Pittsburgh ,PA. I listen to people talk about Boston's North End and hey I have eaten my share on Hanover St. Vito's makes the tops of it all, along with the stop in Pittsburgh,PA.Two places in the world isn't bad!????

Honestly it's not great tasting and some of the people who they have answering phones are awfully rude. I don't care much for the phrase the customer is always right, but when you can't update your website or printed menu(one I got just 2 days ago) in a timely fashion it's just lazy business practice, one that I will no longer support due to sloppy management and horrible customer service. Though I will say their delivery boy is quite good 10/10 on him always on time make sure you tip him well.

calling what they serve "italian food" does an immense disservice to both "italians" and "food". my wife and i agree we've never had any "italian food" that bad before. that said, the service was excellent, so i give it a 2nd star regardless of the abominable food they served.

My wife and I went here for a quick dinner before a show. She ordered a chicken souvlaki and salad and I had the "Vitolio". Her's was okay. Mine was odd -- penne pasta with a mixture of sliced olives, a little spinach, and raw onion. It was like a warm pasta salad with a very strong olive and onion taste. Odd. But very friendly wait staff. Seems like their recent renovation only went as far as the decor -- same old Vito's menu. Popular though-- it was packed at 6pm on a Wednesday.

A farewell dinner for our Brazilian students and a great place to do it. Good food and such a nice environment. They are very helpful with accommodating special requests. Ours were fairly simple (sub tomato sauce for meat sauce in an entree) but some places are ridiculous about requests. Not here! Great wait staff.

Vitos is truly a Saint John tradition. Quality quantity and service is the foundation of this iconic Restaurant chain. When you are greeted by waitresses who seved you 15 years ago and the founders Nick and Peter are present after all these years. You know this place is special. For anyone new to the restaurant just ask for George if you have any issues. There is always one to be found.

First time in since the renovation, picked it for my personal birthday dinner because my family has always gone here for events. Decided to try something different and got the italian sausage pasta dish (normally would have just gotten a pizza and been ecstatic) and it did not disappoint at all, it was delicious and was more than I could eat in the one sitting, so I took the rest home and had a great lunch the next day.

We ordered apps and drinks first. Very relaxing and did not feel rushed. Server, Lisa , was very helpful, attentive but not overbearing. ( Funny too) Main meals were very well prepared. And delicious!

Delicious food, great service, and a perfect location. Everything on the menu is great (pizza, pasta, souvlaki). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Combine that with the convenient location (and parking lot) and you have the perfect spot to go when you are uptown and are looking for a place to eat.

Absolutely wonderful! The establishment obviously has some years to it, and it's quite charming. The staff were warmingly friendly from the second we walked in. We all had some version of pizza, and each one was delicious. I'm inclined to side with the other positive reviews, though admittedly we only had a small sampling of the menu. Also, try the cheesecake. You won't be disappointed (unless you don't like cheesecake, in which case you probably shouldn't try the cheesecake ????).

This review is specific to the Rothesay avenue location as I find them to have better service than other locations. Vito's is hands down the best local pizza in the Saint John area. Their garlic fingers & bread are very good & have a unique almost kind of "smoked" taste to them, hard to describe but it's unique & enjoyable. They also make a special dish called Cesar chicken which is a breaded chicken breast with bacon & cheese inside. If you go on Wednesdays they have a buy one get one half price special. If you're not super hungry they offer half size which is also available at the special rate on Wednesdays. Staff are very friendly. Also they have great breakfasts on Sunday mornings.

Lasagna is delish!! Visited Saint John and had to make a stop at Vito's for dinner. I had the Caesar salad and lasagna and both were very good. I was left stuffed and had to take my dessert to go (I had the coconut sponge cake which was divine). JoAnn was a wonderful server. I will definitely be back for seconds!

I'm from out of town and heard about Vito's great reputation. I ordered take-out and just wanted to say my service was horrible. I was polite and patient, but the staff member made me feel an inch tall. Was not impressed at all. My food was delicious, the décor is slightly dated, the kitchen looked like it needed a good clean.
