Currently this firm gets a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is virtually the top, and it is based on a very high number of reviews, so we can conclude that the evaluation is very credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Catering corresponds to the category of Indian restaurant.
The interior is very cool and clean. I had the spicy lamb curry. Wow was it good. I think it's the best Indian food I've had in the Montreal area. The only down side is that it's not close to my house!
Very rude and unprofessional stuffs, they have difficulties in communications, they even do illegally works by offering no taxes and to pay in cash.
Best Indian restaurant on the South Shore. I agree with other comments that the service can be slow, but I actually like that it’s nothing like fast food. We have tried many dishes on many occasions and have never been disappointed.
Amazing food, affordable price, very polite and heartwarming staff. Thank you very much, we will be back!
We had been looking for over 2 years for a good Indian restaurant in the Southshore - so happy to have found this place! By far the best Indian food within 25km! Their chicken biryani is the best around. If you like really spicy food, ask for it extra spicy
This restaurant is on top of my list for lunch and dinner. Tastefully decorated, spacious dining room, the staff is very friendly and will make you feel like an old friend. Meals are generous, always well-prepared and for a full meal with appetizer you'll end up paying less than some other places charge you for a mediocre burger. They also offer a very generous and affordable lunch dish featuring a variety of samples from the menu and sometimes new creations. Give it a try, you will have a new favorite restaurant.
Can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this place for so long! We finally ordered takeout tonight and it was phenomenal. The portion sizes are really generous and there are so many individual flavours and spices you can taste while you’re eating. Incredible, authentic Indian food in south shore and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves good food.
Really happy with this restaurant. The food has delightful taste! Familly own. Sympathetic and kind staff. Thank you so much Bollywood ????
One of the most beautiful Indian restaurants I’ve ever stepped my feet in. The place is very clean. We tried the “onion bhajii” and “manchurian” for starters. They were delicious. For main course we had butter chicken and “madrasi malai “ both very very well flavoured. I love how the staff is dressed is Indian clothes. It really makes the place authentic. The owner of the place came to greet us and she even offered us tea and dessert on the house. The dessert was homemade unlike other Indian restaurants I’ve been too. It was delicious as well. It was our first visit and i can feel this restaurant being a place I’d go back a couple of times per month. By far this is the best Indian restaurants on the south shore of Montreal!!(I’ve tried 5 others restaurants on the south shore for a comparison)
One of the best restaurant experiences I've had by far. The minute you walk in, you're treated like family and the food that is served is equally fantastic. I couldn't be happier to have found this place, and I will be going often.
Great place food is awesome and service is A1. My go to indian food place on the shore.
Love this restaurant! the food is delicious, good portions and tasty. The owners are very pleasant. I usually do take out but from time to time we eat at the restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere and it has a beautiful modern Indian design. Highly recommended!
Absolutely loved the food and the decor, the ambience and the gastronomy. The Malai Madras curry is to die for if you can handle the spice. Excited about the new South Indian menu being added.
It’s not only great value for your money but also great Indian food regardless of the price. The naan is freshly made so you might burn your fingers on it. I go there with my colleagues for lunch and we have a soup, beans, tandoori chicken, stewed chicken, a salad, some yogurt based sauce, rice and half a naan for less than 15$ tax and tip included! The service is also wonderful and they even finish the meal with a complimentary tea to help you digest the meal.
First time trying this indian restaurant in south shore! I haven't had indian since pre-pandemic. The service was great. The hostess gave out flowers for mother's day and everything was nicely packaged and was still warm when we got home. The butter chicken was yummy for the kids (coconut non-spicy), lamb vindaloo was very spicy! The vegetable biryani, chana masala chickpeas, naan breads complemented everything nicely!
Where is the meat?I ordered take out.Food is not bad and all the flavours are well balanced but portion were small and 75% sauce in very little meat. I basically had dinner of rice, nann with sauce...just go to Delhi kebab or Shan tandoori for better bang for your buck!
The best Indian restaurant in Québec. We had Butter chicken, tandoori chicken, korma lamb + sides and everything was delicious. We had to order extra naan bread because it was so good and fresh. The owner is also very friendly and kind. Can't wait to go back there again.
Amazing restaurant ... Authentic food you can find nowhere else ...the food is phenomenal, the staff is friendly and full of smiles. Really good environment with nice vibes. Highly recommend this restaurant. The owners are the greatest part of your experience ...they are very kind and at your service. *5 star experience *
Ignoring many negative reviews of other diners, I decided to give this local resto a chance, but like other diners, I also suffered food poisoning, food was very expensive and blunt. What I wear has nothing to do with your restaurant, also I was in time to order because you are not nice enough to take orders after 8:30pm let alone staying open for me? Like I was the only client of the day? Seriously?
Gorgeous location and amazing food. What a gem :)
This is some of the best Indian food I have had! The taste was authentic and the service was even better. Make sure you try their dry manchurian and their palak paneer!
Good quality food compared to a lot of other Indian restaurants. Probably the best Indian food in the Rive-Sud, but lacks in certain areas. No spice aftermath the next day, so you stomach should be good to go - no Pepto-Bismol needed.
Reporting them to the health department, better business bureau and government! Not only did I have food poisoning but they over charged me for stuff I did not order and then charged tax on that amount Plus they advertise free delivery but the bill shows delivery charge which is also then taxed. NEVER GO THERE OR ORDER FROM THERE!
Really good! Ordered the combo #1, had a taste of all of the amazing classic Indian food staples with an added side of samosas. The owners were lovely and I will definitely try their cooking class! Great find!!
Resurant Bollywood was fantastic. My wife and I had the Combo #2 for two. It was delicious and very filling with large portions. The owner serverd us and was extremely polite, kind, and knowledgeable. Overall it was a wonderful experience. 5/5 Stars.
Food was wonderful. Service was outstanding. The owner personally came to our table many times. They were very accommodating of our children. The server was very attentive and kind. I highly recommend going to this restaurant. Overall experience was fantastic.
Very unprofessional stuffs, they don’t know how to communicate with the customers and are very rude. They offer cash for discounts and no taxes which is illegal.
This restaurant is my preferred one. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The team is very professional and the cooking they place on your table is so tasty. I am always happy to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.
The food is good, it's only a little bit more salty than I would prefer
We loved our visit at Bollywood, the personal attention of the owner, the amazingly friendly service, the great unique flavours and the smiling belly dancer. It was a lovely experience and this is now our favourite restaurant! We will be back tonight.
One word.. Fabulous... I ordered Malai Chicken Madras, Paneer Tikka Masala and Chana masala and it was very tasty. The owner lady was very welcoming. Surely visiting again.
Fantastic food even though my order didn't get trough when I arrived but I will go back since it is so delicious
Très belle ambiance, one of the best Indian food I’ve ever tried and service was awesome. I definitely recommend to try this restaurant. We had a great time and felt very welcomed. Thank you. Can’t wait to go back again !
Service A++++ food and drinks are exceptional you need to try this restaurant. The kids love the butter chicken ❤️❤️❤️ try the Celia beer~!
Food is great, staff is very friendly; only ordered for takeout, but will definitely go back. Only 1 naan bread in a combo for two (it's a large one, but we are suckers for naan :P).
Loved with food. Very friendly host and nice embience.
Excellent Indian place on the south shore. They provide an appropriate level of spice (that is, if you ask for spicy it will be spicy). Service can be a touch slow but should get better as they iron out the kinks. Food is fresh and flavorful and served piping hot. Friendly owner and staff.
Food was good... However waiters dont pay attention... I have coriander leaves allergy...I asked the waitress to provide everything without coriander..later on the chicken naan came with coriander... I asked the waitress why there was coriander in it despite explaining that I have allergy...she responded..it comes with coriander.. I am not supposed to know what comes with coriander... Left with a distasteful evening...otherwise food tastes great.. ambience is nice
Vast vegetarian variety; Bollywood is a complete culinary experience. Food is such a big part of life so when eating out, I like to make it count; I read reviews and do a little research all in the hopes of finding that quaint little restaurant with great food, service, atmosphere and even décor! (the attention to detail can say a lot about the effort that is going into the food). Not to mention, my daughter had been insisting that I try Bollywood Restaurant. I had the Channa Masala, the Saag Paneer the Paneer Pakoras, and my sister (non-veggie) had the Tandoori, Garlic Naan, Basmati rice… everything was excellent. We met Jeeti, who was very attentive, friendly, and down to earth (I believe she was the founder who had returned in recent weeks). Portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. I look forward to my next visit as there were many other options that I would like to explore. They also have entertainment on Fridays which I think would add even more to an already great experience.
Oh la la. Lip smacking Indian food. Makes you feel like you are in India. Very friendly owners and staff. You can tell the food was made with love. Belly dancers take the floor at night. An amazing experience. I'm a repeat customer.
Incredible food. Mom develops the recipies, family works the tables.Great service. Unusual and delicious versions of curry dishes you won't find anywhere else. Highly recommended!
This is our new go to Indian restaurant! Excellent restaurant atmosphere although we took to go. Very generous portions, amazing staff ♥♥
Delicious food, warm and friendly service! And a great price! Highly recommended :)
Lovely Indian food restaurant. Wonderful staff and delicious food. I will definitely go back :)
Absolutely delicious food! Great service and the price is unbeatable. If that's not enough for you, I don't know what to tell you. Dear bank account, I'm sorry in advance...
Food was good but better with previous owner was running the restaurant. Unfortunately we found a hair in our food ????. After pointing it out to the waitress she just took the hair and walk away. I had no choice but to point it out to the manager or the owner, she apologized and asked us if we want that dish to be replaced. It goes without saying you don’t ask you just said let me replace the dish. But I guess it’s a new owner so. Nonetheless the food was good I would definitely go back again.
Great food! Not only do they have amazing Indian dishes they also offer some fusion food like butter chicken poutine (it just works so well together with the cheese) and sometimes offer custom thin crust pizzas!
Superb quality food. I don't have any reservations while recommending this restaurant to anyone. One of my favourite dish: MANCHURIAN :)
I have been disappointed with most Indian restaurants that I've been to lately so my uncle suggested we try this place out. I didn't know what to expect but was I surprised to find that it is run by the old owners of Tandoor (before that place went downhill). They've made some tune ups both to the decor (mix of urban Canadian and Indian that somehow works) and the menu. Their pakoras have always been on point at all the restaurants they've owned, but they've added a couple of different curries that you won't find elsewhere. Even old favourites like the eggplant have been given a new twist. The owners are always really friendly and knowledgeable (which should be a given but sadly isn't always these days). I already can't wait to go there again. The location is a bit away from any of the popular spots in Brossard (technically it's on the St-Hubert side of Grande-Allée) , but they do have free parking in a small lot. Worth giving it a try if you want some good Indian food at a reasonable price.
Just an amazing place and delicious meal ????❤️ thank you for welcoming
I went to Bollywood for the first time this week. I was very happy with both the food and the friendly service. Vegetarians won't go hungry here, they have many options. I can't wait to go back!
We were so happy to find this gem of a restaurant on the south shore. Warm, friendly service and excellent food for very affordable prices. Have been there twice in two weeks and can't wait to go back to try more on the vast menu. Love Bollywood
Our 1st but definitely not our last visit to this amazing family run Indian Restaurant. The decor is very Zen, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The food was spiced just right, fresh and lovingly prepared. See you again soon!
We had dinner with friends and ordered a variety of dishes - all were tasty, fresh, and did not disappoint! High quality. Great price. Awesome staff.
I went there with my girlfriend last night, we are new in brossard and wanted to eat indian food, Bollywood was very close by so we went there and we were pleasantly surprised by the place, very cosy, beautiful decoration, great service, etc.. its a family owned restaurant and they really care about giving customers a good service and DELICIOUS food. We had a great night, also very reasonably priced. Strongly recommend!
Our experience at Bollywood was absolutely delicious and the food was amazing. We will most certainly be returning there to sample additional authentic, rich Indian cuisine. We spoke with the previous owner Jeeti last evening as well. What a beautiful lady, so inspirational and passionate about the restaurant. She vows to return Bollywood to its previous glory after a short absence due to a health issue. Darn, I should have taken pictures of my food. I had the Tandoori (chicken), Naan, and Basmati and with Saad Paneer (a spinach veggie dish with cheese) So scrumptious! My tastebuds were dancing! Will certainly be returning to experience the weekend shows for an added experience. Well done!
Loved it. The place was packed no more place for the evening, so we took takeout. Everything was good, tasty, authentic. Well be back next time with reservations.
I have physically been to the restaurant and ordered takeout from Bollywood; the food is perfect every time. The family that owns this restaurant clearly takes pride in their establishment. The restaurant is clean and has a unique style. The food itself has great flavour, fresh ingredients and is well plated. I gave five stars for Bollywood and they truly deserve each one.
We got a take-out from there and the food was awful. The Manchurian dish was off, double dried and so hard that it was not even chewable. Portions of the main dishes were half of the starters and they were oily. Only the naan bread were OK. I called to let them know about the starters, the person who answered was not even interested to listen. We won't be going there anytime soon!
Everything was excellent. From the service, the vast menu options to the taste....easily 5☆. You cannot regret trying this place. It looks like nothing from the outside but it is absolutly worth it to try. Authentic indian cuisine, family run business, neighborhood restaurant. Very fair pricing. Alcohol license too.
Best of the best Indian food!???? My date night Restaurent with my husband! We haven’t been there since before COVID yet the food is still better then ever. ???????????? I am So happy to be able to eat there even without dine in. Just delicious, please keep up the amazing service and food. May your family stay healthy ????????
Amazing quality of food, great service. They treat you like family. You will definitely want to come back! Would recommend this place to anyone!
first time here .. wow excellent vindaloo.. one of the best in the grand Montreal and more !!! first time .. but for sure not the last one !! Now on my priority list for very good indian food !!! ++ bonus excellent service ! both french et english !! Just The Perfect place for the best Indian food !!! Now i'm a fan :)
Pleasant experience and surprise, on a small dull shopping complex. But the once you are in nicely decorated, very cozy. People can sit at the counter and just have drinks or dining in. Food was delicious. 2 adults 4 kids under 100$ 2 combos at 40$each. Plenty of food. Includes appetizer, main meal, dessert and tea. I recommend this place. Tandoori chicken is excellent.
Best Indian restaurant in South Shore. The food is awesome and the owner is very nice. The butter chicken was so tender!
Amazing Indian food on the South Shore of Montreal. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
The food is excellent, I have meet my dear friends i haven't seen in atleast 10 years. They are wonderful ????❤. Great food, great service???? wonderful staff ????????
So Happy to have this Restaurant so close by! Food was great! Lot of choices and if you can't find what your looking for on the menu just ask. Service was great and atmosphere was authentic. Will certainly be heading back!
First time and definitely not my last! Very good Indian food. I love spicy so vindaloo was my favourite.
Received very poor quality of Samosa. Waste of money.
Great food, super friendly staff!
As a travel specialist and local tour guide, I strongly recommend this restaurant ! Because they have a super cook master------Madame Geeti ! She cooks amazing traditional cuisine and she is so nice ! I have tasted lots of Asian cuisine, Madame Geeti's cooking level is absolutely one of the best. What's more, from the fantastic decoration from all around the world, you know the taste of hostess. Thanks Madame Geeti, I feel so lucky to enter the restaurant and have a so amazing dinner with my family!
I love everything about this restaurant. They treat us like family. Food is incredible and always the biggest smiles.
Lovely, cozy, nicely decorated place. Dishes labelled as "extra hot" are truely hot as compared to most places in the province. We had Vegetable Manchurian, Malai Madras, Shahi Paneer and Naan. All were delicious, full of flavours. They also have belly dance shows on Saturday evening which we unfortunately missed. Best indian restaurant in the region by far!
I enjoyed my meal extremely. The mix of spices, the chicken in butter sauce was delicious and the naan bread freshly made. The tea served with the desert was just a perfect mix to mellow the sweetness. Will visit again and recommend. Quality for the price. The pricing is good
This is our go to takeout restaurant. The food is always great and the owners are friendly. The chicken biryani is excellent.
Excellent food.I usually order at another indian restaurant closer to me but gave these guys a try and the food was very good and felt refined. Slightly smaller portions than your average indian place but quality of the food is very good will keep being a customer. The only thing that left me a little disappointed is the naan bread, it comes out very thin & flat as opposed to a little thicker & airier naan bread you find at other good indian restaurants. But thats the only small thing I could find that could be improved on. Keep up the great work.
Extremely poor Quantity as per price. We ordered chicken and pieces given was too small. The entire dish was just for one person. Owner of the restaurant pls check your competition the amount of food they give. Not recommended.
We dined here tonight and the food was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting with belly dancing and fun music! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cultural experience.
Overall the food is good. The owner has been in this business for quite some time and is very Knowledgeable about the trade. This upside of going to Bollywood restaurant is : good place to enjoy comfortable Indian food without ruining the budget in the South Shore of Montreal.
Awesome food and great service The owners are fun to chat with and the food always fresh!
Best indian food in Quebec. The 35 minute drive is definitely worth it.
We are a regular customer of this place. My husband orders almost every other day through Uber eats ..Yesterday I went to restaurant and met the owner aunty who is sweet, she added samosa complimentary to my order. It’s a small add on but a good gesture.
We ordered takeout from this place last night and fell in love! It was sooo sooo good, they were super friendly, definitely recommend! Also ther naan was huge and the vegetable korma was to die for!
We discovered this amazing indian restaurant reçently, and its the BEST indian we had in years!! They give us an excellent 5 stars service, always so warming and welcoming. Seriously driving an hour every time because its sooooo worth it!!
My daughter suggested Bollywood for my birthday. My birthday was mentioned when we ordered and I had a little surprise in the bag. The food was excellent. The best Indian food that I have tasted in years! When I went to pick it up, they took the time to wish me Happy Birthday. They work hard and make great food. Will order again soon that's for sure. Advice: if you do not like spicy food, just mention it. I like their food exactly the way they serve it. Can't wait until Covid restrictions are lifted so we can eat in at the restaurant and mingle with the owners and staff. Amazing Food and excellent customer service!
I don't often eat Indian foods. First time try Bollywwod and it's the bomb!!!! So tasty and not too much.
This restaurant is a great experience, the ambiance is smooth and relaxing, the food is excellent, the prices are cheap and the portions are perfect, the staff is warm, kind, honest and friendly. Honestly, wow, I would recommend it to anyone, anytime! Thank you Bollywood.
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Quebec. The channa samosa was delicious and so was my korma dish, which was suggested by the owner. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.
Food was amazing! I ordered one of the spiciest things on the menu and it did not disappoint! My son ordered a less spicy dish and he was very happy with his too and said it was nice and mild. The servers were friendly, and they helpfully kept my water refilled. A+ experience, and I look forward to eating here in the future!
Quality, delicious and tasty food! Amazing staff!! Highly recommended!!
We have been eating Indian food from Bollywood Restaurant for quite some time and happy to say we are a regular customer. They serve delicious Indian food with kids friendly options. The Owner takes atmost care of food that they serve and ensures that the customers are happy. We also catered food for a birthday party celebration and all our guests enjoyed the food. If you are living in Brossard/South shore of Montreal and want to enjoy some Indian food, Bollywood Restaurant is the place to go. Strongly recommended.
This place is really delicious. I fell in love with it on Valentine’s Day (fitting!) when a friend and I showed up last minute not expecting to have a place... but they let us sit at the bar and the food was ... amazing! Seriously, the portions aren’t cheap, the food is delicious and fresh and the staff is really welcoming and polite. I now order from there whenever I have the chance! Definitely worth a try!!
Amazing family made Indian food. The flavours of the butter chicken are great and pairs well with naan. I'll be back for takeout and can't wait to dine in here one day!
Discovered best indian restaurant on South Shore. Food was amazing and ambiance very pleasant. Host was nice and friendly. We will be back with the whole family very soon.
Really good and flavorful food. Everything has a distinct and delicious flavor. The spicy dishes are very spicy but still enjoyable. I'm really glad that we gave it a try!
Portion is not a lot, If you don't eat much and don't mind the price then i guess its good.*** I came here on a friday night with some friends, looking for some good indian food. Yes it was pretty good, had the kormas lamb, Madras beef, Butter chicken and a vegetable dish. The food was flavorful, the sauce was good. It was spicy but not up there, should have tried the vindaloo. Now you may think why I gave such low rating. Each of these dishes were $12-15 and you have to order rice and naan on the side. It adds up quick. The food came and the portions were too small (8-9 cubes of meat in each). It might fill you up if you eat the rice and naan with the sauce as it is very fatty/heavy. Then we waited more than 1 hour for the food to come. I think they said there were a lot of orders at same time and they did give us some freebies (Thank you) and came to apologize for having us wait. The decor of the place is nice and service was good and polite else than that.
The chicken and vegetable pakoras were delicious. The chicken Tikka Masala and the lamb curry were missing the authentic Indian spices that we are used to. The dishes were not spicy at all. The naan bread was fresh.
I highly recommend this restaurant !! Very delicious food. Tried aloo tikki, Manchurian, biryani and paneer tikka masala. Tasted truly like home-made Indian food. Will order repeatedly from this restaurant !! Moreover, Jeeti is a kind lady and an absolute delight to have a conversation with.
This is a restaurant that you are lucky to find once in a lifetime. Every time I leave Burlington to visit Montreal, I make sure to visit. There is nothing in VT that can compare to quality, dedication, creativity and care they put into every dish. This is a family owned restaurant that provides delicious michelin star quality meals. The owner provides outstanding customer service both in French and English. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is welcome and checks in frequently to make sure that you enjoyed your meal and orders for more naan, drinks, maybe another meal to go are quickly taken care of. Her mother created all the recipes and supervises the kitchen, so everything that comes out is made to perfection. Trust me, you will want to take the cooking class because these are dishes we all need to have in your home! I pray one day they sell their special blend of spices for the tikka masala and jar the butter chicken sauce. Trust me you need to try the butter chicken, it will make your day if not your week! It's a wonderful thing to experience the love, dedication, and history of the food. It's a perfect marriage between Indian and French cuisine, as they take the classics like chicken tika masala and butter chicken and add new levels of enjoyment and making it a more savory dish. The French influence is felt in the creaminess of the butter chicken, which just so smooth and delightful. Everything is perfectly spiced and made to perfection. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!
