Probably the most Canadian restaurant in Winnipeg. Hear me out. It's a Mexican restaurant in the French part of town, that's owned and operated by an Indian family. If that isn't Canadian I don't know what is.

Just came in for taco thesday, because of surgery i couldnt go to my normal better location in st vital mall. Ordered 4 tacos and a large mexi fries delix extra salsa to split between the two of us and wow so beyond disappointing. Tacos weren't even half full. my hard shells were so empty it was dry eating just shell. If there was a 0/5 i would have selected that never comming back to this location again slum management and cheap owners at this site

This place is considered fast food. I frequent this location for menu items I enjoy. Also for the fact that it is close by apartment / work. The service is average, the food is decent and the speed of service is above average.

A little pricey I find for fast food, but then again I don't usually eat the provided combo options so it's not their fault maybe? I think it's a good idea but a little more expensive than it's closest competitor Taco Bell

Its a surprisingly clean, fast and friendly version of the relatively standard mall food court franchise. The decor inside is much nicer than anything you would find in a mall and at least makes an effort to be authentic, the staff are fast (like a food court) and courteous (unlike a food court) and it is often fairly quiet so you can chose to get in and out quickly, or to dine onsite. It IS still a franchise taco restaurant - but as far as those go, this is one of the better ones to visit. Currently, taco Tuesday's are still in effect, so if you need 5 beef tacos for a very reasonable price (no judgement - I think many of us have been there, for whatever reason) this is your best bet.

My family has been going here for years and have almost always had lovely experiences. Today we went in to get dinner for my father and I. My father is allergic to dairy and we asked if they could keep it off, they put it on anyway and rejected us and told my mom if we wanted it without we'd have to pay for it again instead of just making it right the first time. Now I've worked fast food before and I know how annoying it is to remake food you or the customer messed up, but the fact they couldn't care about his allergies is a whole other mess. This is ridiculous and infuriating.

Employees were too busy screaming and insulting each other to listen to guests orders and made me quite uncomfortable. Basically threw me my togo bag and walked away. I should have checked what was inside as 3 items were missing. Rest assured I will never be returning to this location.

I've been to this location 4 or 5 times and have had mixed experiences. The consistent things are it is always clean, the staff are always very pushy with their upselling, the food is decent to really good and the value is TERRIBLE. The prices go up often which isn't just them, taco time as a whole is increasing prices and portion sizes are going down. What used to be a small Mexi fries is now less than a large which is $4.39. You're guaranteed to leave here feeling ripped off. I've noticed this location is extra cheap on portion sizes and the burritos all look like they're half the size of other locations in other cities. The staff are not great. I know it's not necessarily the best job but they definitely lose a lot of customers based on their staff alone. 9 times out of 10 they will send you to your table without your fries and then by the time you finish your burrito your fries arrive I've never had this not happen but the one time I did see a table leave with 1 out 5 mexi fries ordered so I say 9 out of 10. The staff are definitely the weak spot. Parking is usually pretty good and their hours are typical.

Went here for lunch today for the first time in 6 years to treat my self for the first time in a long time, and I have to say it was awesome, the staff were really friendly the food was fantastic and made fresh on the spot, very nicely displayed too and the restaurant its self is the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in, I really needed this moment even if it wasn't for very long. thank you guys for making my day ????????

While Taco Time in general is basically fast food, I think it is superior to other fast food taco places. This location in particular has always been a good experience. The staff is good and the food is well prepared.
