Here you will see the reviews of people like you who purchased the products of Taste Of Ukraine (Catering) in Saint Albert (Canada).
To this day the business gets a score of 4.6 out of 5 and this rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is basically the top, and it is founded on a very large number of scores, so we may think that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they are pleased with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Catering corresponds to the category of Ukrainian restaurant.
The food was horrible. Who makes cabbage rolle with no meat? The food has no flavor. The borch was just down right terrible. I come from a Ukrainian back ground and the is not food that would ever be served in our home.
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Terrific service. Among our group we tried almost all the entrees and side dishes and a couple of the appetizers and everything was delicious. Highly recommended. Ya mya pupits.
Extremely friendly staff, reasonable menu selections and large portions. The food was very well prepared and tasted great. Beautiful paintings and murals decortaing the walls.
Great place to come for Ukrainian food.
Took some food home. Service was quick. Borscht delightful and full of veggies. Dill cream cheese crepes were wonders.
This is a great Family run business which has been around for quite a while. They take great pride in the quality of there food and service. One of best restaurants in St Albert!!
I ate here last night and it was wonderful. It certainly gives you a taste of Ukrainian food. It’s clean and the staff are wonderful. A great place to take someone on a date. If you want more than a taste, something more reminiscent …
Perogy, pickles, and a delicious fried item called cannonballs, in a cheerfully cozy environment with paintings of old world vistas in the walls.
The quality of the food has slipped since my last visit. The cheddar perogies were nearly flavorless... Ordered the Cherry ribs and they were burnt testing and had similar no seasoning.
Great place and very tasty food. Will came back for sure! Thank you guys!
Excellent, authentic food. They do it right and don’t have to rely on loads of salt for taste. Highly recommended!!
Although it's never going to be the same as eating a nice meal in the village somewhere in Ukraine, they are doing a very good job at replicating this experience. The kitchen puts out some great dishes and I would recommend it to anyone.
Love love love!!! The food was amazing! The staff were fantastic, can't say enough good things. Mmmmm
As close as you can get to my Baba's delicious homemade Ukrainian recipes from a restaurant! There were 11 of us in our party and the service was great and the food was mmmm mmmm delicious!
Amazing food and service always! A place where you get treated like family.
Excellent food! My husband and I both have a Slavic background and we were very impressed. The decor and overall character and ambience of the restaurant was very comforting and gorgeous. It was nice to be an a real authentic place that doesn't just play the Top 40 on the radio. Again, the food was great and very filling. It was a tad on the pricey side but it was very much worth it (and neither my husband and I could finish our food at the restaurant so we basically got two meals out of it). Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely eat here again!
Delicious food, polite staff, and an amazing look and feel! A great place to go for date night. :)
???????????????? First time eating here and we were SO happy with the service and with our meals! The interior decor alone made the entire experience memorable! Also it was fairly busy when we arrived with no reservation but you wouldn’t have known …
We have been to this restaurant quite a few times. This is family run business with real home cooking and they make you feel like extended family. When my Dad passed away, this was his favorite place to eat, they closed the restaurant for …
Best fine dining Ukrainian Restaurant I've ever been in. Must try the Borsht it the best next to Baba's of course.
I make sure to go every year when I visit Edmonton. Their food and service is excellent.
Absolutely amazing meals. Came for my birthday since am a huge perogy fan! And my God I felt so satisfied. From the appetizer, the dinner plate and dessert!
I loved the food and the service and definitely the atmosphere . Definitely will be back
Great food, good atmosphere, and the service was as good as you'd find in the most upscale of restaurants. A very nice change of pace from chain restaurants and I highly recommend everyone try it.
I had the meatballs and they were absolutely fantastic. They had such a robust flavour and delicious beef gravy that I immediately had to share a bite with my wife. I would come back just for them. The rest of the meal was tasty as well, I highly recommend the pickles that they sell as an appetizer or take home jar. The only major drawback was the lack of a change table or suitable countertop in either the men's or women's bathrooms, which obviously made it awkward when trying to change our baby mid meal.
Awesome food. My daughter loved coming after her performance last year.
Wow . They have won the awards for a reason ! I HIGHLY recommend this location
Nice atmosphere, food was delicious, was affordable. Service was a little slow but definitely worth waiting for. Try the Kiev!
Very good and very close to original Ukrainian food. I felt like at home :) I am so happy!!!
Everything was so delicious. It was the best borscht I've ever had. The interior is decorated so festively. I can't wait to come back to try more items on the menu!
Went there for lunch today. Good service, great decor and excellent food. Easily one of the top 10 Ukrainian restaurants in the county. Gotta be ☺
I arrived when it was pretty quiet, and the service was incredible. The place itself looks every traditional with all sorts of art and decorations everywhere, a beautiful hand painted mural, and staff that wear traditional uniforms. The …
Extremely friendly staff with great recommendations. Food was delicious and decoratios inside are very pleasant. Highly recommend going for any occassion.
Family went for thanks giving dinner Loved the atmosphere The food was great …
I had bought a bunch for frozen food to make on shift. Everything was amazing. Definitely will be on list to order from again. -Suncor Operations.
Absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic and service has always been fantastic. I love the feel of the restaurant, it feels so cozy. And their dill pickles are sooooooo good.
When my parents and I ate there a year and half ago it was fantastic. My father said the soup was just like his mother use to make it in the old country (Europe). The paintings on the wall and decor was so interesting we took a tour of the place. We felt like we were in Ukraine. The waitress was so friendly. Well done.
Service was excellent. First time going & our server was very friendly & explained the menu. We left our to go box there by mistake & our server ran them outside to bring it to us. He was great. By just reading the menu, I never would have ordered the Cherry Ribs. I love ribs, but a cherry sauce on them sounds weird. But when we were walking in, a couple was leaving & the husband was raving about the cherry ribs so I had to try them. Wow. Wow. They were so tender they just fell apart. The flavour of just the ribs alone was really good. But the cherry sauce, as weird as it sounded to me, was actually amazing. So good that I don't think I'll be able to try the rest of their dishes. All I'm going to want are those ribs. ????
Absolutely incredible! Great food, staff and atmosphere
Best Ukrainian food I've ever had! Even better than top restaurants in Ukraine. Definitely would recommend.
This restaurant is amazing. The food and service are top notch. Go! You won't regret it.
I've been dining at Taste Of Ukraine for over 15 years. Back when it was located in downtown Edmonton. The food, staff and experience has always been absolutely fantastic.
Amazing. Lovely food that is clearly very traditional and tastes like ambrosia. It is truly an amazing hidden g in st. Albert food.
Amazing food! Authentic Ukrainian food.
Last week was the first time we came to that restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the finest meal and booze and with the modest price. We will absolutely visit there soon.
I had the chicken bytky and I did not like it at all. It tasted almost fishy. I definitely would not get it again. Everything else was very good. We also got the sour cherry perogies for desert. They were very good too. Service was a little slow. We spent almost two hours there.
Authentic Ukrainian food and atmosphere. Felt like walking into Baba's house for dinner. I would definitely go back , the Kiev was fantastic.
We love this restaurant. Family owned and operated. Service is excellent and food has always been amazing!
Excellent service, fine food.
Ambiance, food. Very nice, local gem just found tonight. Staff friendly, price good as leave full. Loved it
Love the atmosphere and the food is delicious! We also buy frozen take-out to enjoy pierogies and cabbage rolls at home. Taste of Ukrainian is a wonderful restaurant in St. Albert!
If you want some good home cooking but don't want to cook at home go here. Everything was delicious and they have a great selection of drinks. Service was wonderful atmosphere is amazing. Very nice and cozy place to sit down and have some cabbage rolls, meatballs, and borscht.
We love Taste of Ukraine! We have not dined in the restaurant in years but attended a cooking class there and ordered take out for Ukrainian Christmas last week. Everything is delicious and the staff are soooo friendly.
Was priced on the high side for what you got, the food was really quite tasty however, the cabage rolls were cold.
Went to taste of Ukraine yesterday for their Ukranian Christmas dinner. The food and service were amazing! Highly recommend!!!
Our first visit here recommended by friends. Cozy atmosphere, good service but best of all great food. I am not too familiar with Ukrainian food so I like how you can choose and add side dishes to your entree. The nalysnyky was delicious!
Nice and tasty authentic Ukrainian food. Love it and recommend to everyone. Quiet music. Staff are wearing traditional embroidery shirts. The name says it all.
As for food and atmosphere, this place can't be beat. Even the custom ceaser and import beer are awesome. The only complaint I have with this place is that if you bring a baby or a toddler here, you will be treated like a leper.
Amazing food, the pork was delicious with just the right amount of cheese and tomatoes. The cheese creeps were fluffy and light but packed with flavor, and the pierogi's are always outstanding. Worth checking out. This is the second time …
We ate supper in late August/17 at their 'Batting Against Breast Cancer' fund raiser. The decor was great, the place was full, the service was friendly and professional and the food was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to others.
Excellent and authentic Ukrainian food, as well as friendly service that is very welcoming! Our new favorite by far!
Excellent food and service. Brought our infant along and they treated us really well
We stopped in tonight for the first time while in Edmonton for work - what a cool place! Stepping inside, it’s like being transported to Ukraine. The work put into decorating the place is amazing and feels authentic - we best described it like a world pavilion at Epcot. Decorations aside, all our food was fresh, hot and delicious. Our entree included two sides, and we also had an appetizer. On top of the hot and fresh bread we received, we had quite the tasty assortment. Everything was delicious. To top it off, the husband and wife running the dining room were more than kind and were great to chat with. A wonderful experience overall, and were truly glad we popped in. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Edmonton - thanks to the team at Taste of Ukraine!
Service was great food was good. A little to dark of an atmosphere for me kind of depressing.
The perogies were good, the kielbasa was tough and dry, the cabbage rolls were good, but the cabbage was not cooked as much as I prefer, we took it home to eat
Very friendly staff and great food, I just wish there was a little bit more (though I probably don't need it). They are currently only doing takeout due to COVID, but should have dine in Friday June 12, 2020.
Omg this is the best Ukrainian food I have had in 20 years!!!! Just like Grandma used to make!!!!! And the ambiance is really cute!!!!
The best chicken kiev i've ever had! Portion size is not too big and leaves you happily satisfied. Had the lemon poppyseed cake for dessert, very yummy.
They make great perogies, all the food is A1 and to dine in is wonderful
Says open until 9 but close at 8. I work long hours and have to go to fast food because of this. I do not know if they have good food or not. I did not get the chance to eat.
Atmosphere was great, service was awesome and the food was phenomenal! I did not tal pictures as we were all focused on eating......lol
Staff are friendly, great atmosphere and amazing food. Can't wait to try something else on the menu.
Fantastic food! Awesome personal service!
One of my favorite places to eat in St. Albert. Great family owned restaurant
Oh my gosh this place is so so good. Everyone should come here to eat delicious food and support local business! If you like Ukrainian food or food at all you need to try this place. We went for my best friend’s birthday and we were not …
WOW! WOW! Great place to eat if you are in the Edmonton area. I would be a regular if I didn't live in Ottawa.
Amazing food served in a friendly, family run establishment. Love this place!
Love it here- food has slightly slipped (although it could have been an off night. The service, atmosphere and everything else was great.
One of my favourite restaurants. I love all the yummy comfort food. It’s always fresh and hits the spot just right. Amazing inside and staff is always super friendly. I highly recommend supporting this local business.
Everything was delicious..... went for birthday dinner highly recommend cherry desert perogies and naleshnyka!
Food was very authentic and tasty. Best Ukrainian restaurant I know of.
The food is always amazing here and the atmosphere very quaint and cozy!
We ordered our Christmas dinner from Taste of Ukraine. It was absolutely delicious! Thank you. ????
Amazing and authentic food. I tried it with a coworker from Ukraine so said it was pretty spot on.
Perogies were delicious and the pyrizhky with dill sauce were extremely yummy. I wish I could have eaten the whole dish!
Terrific food. Much better than I was expecting. Very friendly.
We enjoyed our dinner at Taste of Ukraine immensely. The friendly and courteous service received, in the warm surroundings of delightful art work and Ukrainian dance costumes, is a wonderful nod to the culture. Do try the deep fried pickles …
Best Ukrainian food in town, amazing ambiance and service. Very authentic!
Fake Ukrainian restaraunt. They serve originally named ukranian meals but they are all far-far-far away from original taste and appearance. The best thing about this place is tall blondie waitress who is very kind and cute.
On a road trip and we wanted to try something new and unique. This place hit the spot! The service was great and the food was outstanding! The borscht was incredible! We tried a couple different perogies types and some cabbage rolls... All extremely delicious. I wish we had food like this closer to home!
We don't come here very often but everytime we have made it out here, we have left extremely happy. The borscht is one of my favorites, I always look forward to having it when I'm there. If you haven't had a chance try the cabbage rolls, delicious and very filling. I wouldn't say no to the lemon cake either if you can fit it. It is sweet but it rounds any meal off spectacularly
Amazing food, fantastic service, and family owned. I will go again.
Amazing food & friendly service! I'll be going back for sure!
Staff were incredibly rude but the food was good
Went with 3 others, tried 3 different entrees and 10 different sides - each dish was really tasty. The borsch was served hot and full flavored (my friend had that). My husband had a sour soup and that was nice and full of sauerkraut. The chicken Kyev was nice and crisp and moist on the inside with a nice thick gravy on top. The meatballs in gravy were in the same rich sauce and we'll seasoned and moist. The pierogies (cheddar/sauerkraut/cottage cheese/mushroom) were all well made and tasty. They have potatoes with a cream full sauce, nice and rich.... we'd easily come back again. My friend will be.... we're from out of town so probably not for a little bit for us.
Comfort food. Every meal will fill you up. The atmosphere feels authentic and the servers are very friendly and personable.
I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. I got 3 menu items and all were incredible
We arrived just minutes after opening. We had our little one with us, which I might not recommend. They had a high chair, but the environment is very quiet and more intimate. I was expecting a bit more bold flavours, but everything was …
Was a pleasant meal but not as great as I thought it might be from other reviews. Meal was hot had eye appeal and was a treat to me so that made it better
First time here. Excellent service. Nice selection of Ukrainian dishes. Chicken Kiev was large and very tasty. Ham sausage was not too garlicky. Perogies were very good as were the cabbage rolls. They served hot bread right out of the oven …
Excellent, authentic food. It was hot, delicious, and surprisingly, better than my Ukrainian grandma's. The chicken Kyiv and cabbage rolls were very good. The lighting was dark, but really accentuated the colorful paintings on the wall. I loved the family pictures from Ukraine, and the servers were very attentive and friendly.
Love it at taste of Ukraine! Excellent service fabulous food and good atmosphere. I could do with out that music, but understand they are creating an authentic experience.
All the food here is absolutely amazing but the borscht has to be my favourite! The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming. This is by far the best Ukrainian restaurant in the Edmonton area!
Great experience and the food was great. Will be returning to try other items, so many to chose from
Great food very typical of Ukrainian fare. Very reasonable prices and excellent service
Service was great!!! Should you crave that home made Ukrainian food this is the place to go. Awesome decore paintings and such. Enjoy the Old country environment!!!
Atmosphere was good, service was friendly and the food was lovely. Would definitely go again and recommend to others
One of the best places to eat in st.albert. what a unique and wonderful place to eat at. I've never been to a Ukranian specific restaurant before but this has me hooked! The service was exceptional, one of the best servers we've ever had.
An excellent restaurant. The food is awesome. The only draw back, its a little pricy.
We had an amazing time at the restaurant
