I had a sub for the first time in years as they now have a KETO bun! Had the peppercorn prime rib, very tasty!! Just a note, the keto bun is very moist so get them to gril it BEFORE and AFTER they make it. A great healthy fast food option.

The staff at this location seemed friendly during my visit here... And this is the only reason why this review has 2 stars and not one. As a disclaimer I'd like to say I've been eating at Mr.Subs my entire life. The quality is better than subway, and everything about it tastes better... It's a bonus that they are a Canadian company to boot. Now, my problem with this location is that the owner has cut the meat way too thin. As a result of trying to save a buck, I will not be returning. There are other local locations that aren't ripping people off flavor because the owner is too cheap to do the right thing and cut the meat a little thicker.

First time at this Mr. Sub, last time at this Mr. Sub. Ordered a spicy chicken, got regular chicken. Asked for the sub to be grilled, grill wasn't hot. Majority of the toppings ended up in the wrapping and not in the sandwich. Disappointing to spend $10+ dollars on a sandwich and have it turn out to be exactly what you didn't want. Too bad since I much typically prefer Mr. Sub over Subway.

Great service! Owner was helping us out tonight and even gave me some pickles to munch on while he made my sub, my pregnant self loved it! Fresh bread and toppings made for a super yummy sub! Will definitely be back for more soon!

Not the most friendly experience. No one asked if I wanted my sandwich heated up, and it felt like too much of an inconvenience to ask, also very basic selection of veggies for your sub. (Pizza subs are kinda gross cold tbh)

I arrived at this store at 8:47 PM Friday Aug 24 to find the lights off and the doors locked. The sign in the window was showing open and the store hours clearly showed open until 9:00 PM, just as my Google search showed for this location. Closing early is extremely unprofessional and disappointing to a loyal customer.

When I walked in I noticed both ladies preparing food were wearing face masks UNDER their noses, so glad I went in and didn't order through skip the dishes. I walked right out, very unacceptable during this pandemic to not be wearing a mask properly while leaning over ingredients and preparing food

If you like to pay for what you don’t get, then this is the place for you. The female owner is very rude to customers. Don’t order the pizza sub, without sauce, she will not give you that and lets you verbally and loudly know. Rips you off on the amount of salami that is supposed to go on it. I have not been in this store one time that she is not verbally abusing her staff. The gentleman that works here however does not share the same attitude. I will forever now go to the Mr. Sub by Chapters or any other Mr. Sub as I have never been treated badly by any of these other franchises. I will be sending my complaints to the corporate headquarters.

My husband, son and I ate there last Thursday. It had a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The bread was super fresh as were all the meat and vegetables, it was displayed beautifully. Great value and the subs are fiiled full. The decor is modern and the store was very clean. The owners are very personable, genuine and friendly. We highly recommend you to try it out. ????

Absolutely amazing service. I ordered from skip the dishes, and had my order canceled because of a grumpy customer service rep from skip. Gave this place a call and they saved my food and ended up charging me a bit less. So I offset with a decent tip. These guys held my food till pretty much closing and were so friendly and nice when I came in. And may I say they made some pretty awesome subs. Bye bye subway! I'm willing to bet bad review that say the food is bad are the same people that make huge nasty orders and are shocked when it tastes bad

This is the best Mr.Sub in the city hands down!! I’m so grateful for this new location, most locations I visited in St.Albert and surrounding area the staff are bit rude, uninviting, and the quality was slapped together brutal. Not this location! The owners are incredibly kind, always outgoing to provide the best quality, service and meet any picky expectations. They’re ingredients are fresh, well put together and the location is always clean. No matter where you live in the city make the trip if you love the Subs but want an incredible experience and amazing sandwich. You won’t be disappointed and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Love, love, love this location! Enjoy!! :)

My first ever Mr. Sub experience and WOW!! Blown away. Brought my kids here tonight for a supper after skating and we each ordered something different. A salami, meatball and a chicken souvlaki. The bread was extremely fresh and light. It tastes like home made. The toppings were too quality. Super impressed! Highly recommend! I will never eat at subway again. The ladies working were so patient with my kids ordering, kind and welcoming. Already planning our next time to visit!

Been to this location a fair amount of times now. Don't have anything good to say about this mr sub besides the taste. The staff are not polite. Give you very little toppings. A few times when I have came in later on it reeks like marijuana

Well , first impressions count. We have been to this location several times. Usually there is a very nice gentleman and he is great. Tonight , not so great. The lady working tonight was rude and condescending. I felt bad for the elderly Lady working with her. Listen , if you don’t like your job. Find something else that will make you a nicer person, just don’t take it out on your customers. Food was good. Will go to other locations so we don’t need to deal with the worker that we did tonight.

Better than Subway, but like Subway, the main source of flavor is the sauce. The vegetables are so weak. The banana peppers are an insult to peppers.

Enjoyed our first sub from this vendor. Absolutely delicious. My husband raved about the pizza sub best he has had in years. And they are huge. Great value for money. The ham sub I had also exactly the way I wanted it. Highly recommend. They were PERFECT.

I was passing through and stopped to pickup lunch. I needed to use the washroom but it was closed due to Covid. Seems like a convenient excuse to not have to clean the bathrooms more than a safety concern considering they are allowing people in the building. I went next door to DQ and was able to use the washroom and picked up lunch there.

Changed my review from a 4 stars to 1 star as my visits were progressively getting worse. Last time I was in, I found a hair baked into the bread. Their grill sits at a lower temperature so I feel the need to always get a double grill going, otherwise it's such a sad toast. There was an older sandwich maker who is really sloppy when she makes the subs. Food is visual, make it look good... I had a back and forth with another owner where I asked for no dairy on the sub, but then asked for mayo as a condiment. I was lectured that mayo has dairy in it and I shouldn't be eating it??? Mayo is dairy free.... One of the other owners, is missing the mark on customer service. He small talks with you trying to be nice and jokes around, but it comes across as odd, and weird. Making me feel uncomfortable because it gets personal.. like where do you live, and what kind of car do you drive? The one lady who told me mayo isn't dairy free, is the best sandwich maker in there, and does remember people's orders, so that's good. But, there are two other Mr. Subs in St. Albert and at this point would rather just drive to the other locations.

In this competitive fast food society it's not impressive to walk into a place and choose your food from pictures. I see beautiful subs with lots of meat toppings..verses the product that you get with scarce mystery meat and topped with bacon that's cooked beyond recognition!!! "Coming back SUBWAY"!!!!!
