BEST CULINARY EXPERIENCE for my women’s retreat I could’ve asked for! Vanessa catered one of my wellness retreats in January 2020. We were a small group of women nestled in a cabin in the Rockies. Vanessa helped me organize my preferences and food considerations for my attendees with a questionnaire, from which she planned a customized breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu (+ homemade apple cider punch and rejuvenating snacks). The meals were a great assortment of delicious, nutritious, organic, whole foods on a budget. Vanessa brought everything to indulge our senses! The presentation was first class, the experience professional and relaxed to give it a girls weekend feel. I would recommend Adopted Tomato to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience.

Vanessa was hired as a personal chef at a small writing retreat that I attended. Prior to the event I was sent a survey asking about any food allergies/ intolerances or preferences. I am gluten/dairy free. I was fed 3 meals a day with dessert and every single detail was taken care of. I did not feel like I was missing out at all! In fact, I had never eaten so well in my life. The attention to presentation, the obvious pleasure she felt when we were all happy and astonished by the quality delicious food, and her enthusiasm to share her recipes, tips and secrets brought the added bonus that every bite we took was wrapped in a sprinkly bow of love. Experiencing a meal prepared by Vanessa is truly a culinary experience. If you want generic catering, look elsewhere. But if you want an upscale gustatory experience, you will not be disappointed. From the food to the garnish to the presentation and the special cocktail creations, you will be wowed from the first moment. And Vanessa herself is an absolute delight! I cannot recommend Adopted Tomato enough ????

Vanessa made our 20th Anniversary very special by cooking and serving an unbelievable custom meal. It started with a charcuterie board for my husband and guests and made a separate one for me who has a lot of dietary needs. Her feature drink was amazing. We were so full but the food kept coming with a beautiful chicken Marsala and a chocolate cake for dessert that was gluten free and still tasted like no other. We will definitely use Vanessa and Adopted Tomato again. Highly recommended.

She cooks an excellent meal, has some great ideas for a menu, an is very friendly. Surprisingly enough, she is even willing to share some of her trade secretes on how to cook a great salmon filet.
