Usually, I have no issue with the service. The last time I was there it took 20 minutes to get a drink, and by the time we got our second, (before we even heard a last call) this older lady waitress literally plucked our drinks out of our hands and said "too bad, times up." Better luck next time.

A huge thanks to Jeff and his team for accommodating our last minute 30-person catering job. Jeff was great to deal with. He is friendly and professional, and is amazing at what he does. The event we had catered was one of 21 in several communities across Canada over a 1-month period. Hands down, Jeff's food and service received the highest praise. We would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for catering in Trail to give Jeff and his team a call. If you're passing though town, make Arlington Bar & Grill your energy-refueling destination.

The Arlington used to be a dive... this is NOT the case anymore. It has been renovated and cleaned up which has made a huge improvement. Although the atmosphere inside is still very "bar" like, the real gem is out on the courtyard patio. It has a wonderful vibe. The whole restaurant is kid friendly but given the choice I try to take mine to sit outside. I haven't eaten all of the menu items but what I have eaten was good. Service has always been top notch. Peak times can sometimes mean a wait, but never too long. I have no problem recommending the Arlington to anyone who comes to town.

Had two meals here both were great. Breakfest is super friggin good! Lunch I had beer battery fries with my burger, and the gravy, is actully 100% home made. I also enjoyed a proper Pina Coloda. Great patio space.

I remember the prices being alot cheaper than this (at least half what they are now). But other than that I can't complain. Our food was served in 15 minutes or less and the waitress was very friendly. The chairs all have plexiglass which is great. They did a great job and glad that place is not some sleezy bar anymore with drunken idiots hanging around lol.

Waited an hour to be waited on. Waitress kept walking passed us and she only had two other tables in her area the whole hour. Didnt even top up our waters. Almost walked out. Ended up flagging another waitress down who kindly paid us attention and was very apologetic and nice.

Almost $20 for a burger that's made with frozen burger patties. Can not respect a restaurant that cannot make a burger patty. Oh and obviously served with frozen fries. The difficulty of cutting up some potatoes for fries and mixing burger meat for patties is too much for this place. Better off going to A&W at least their burger patties are fresh.

My server was amazing and that's the only reason they're getting two stars. Without him they'd be getting zero. I ordered a meal and asked without olives and for my wrap to be a cheese flavoured wrap. The first time it comes out with olives and cheese flavoured wrap. So I sent it back second time it comes out with no olives and a plain wrap. The kitchen staff is sorely lacking reading skills

I managed to get an order in before the kitchen closed at 8:30 pm. Classic rock on the ears and dinner was fantastic. Burger was fresh, with the beer battered fries combined with the in-house garlic aoli sauce. There is no need for ketchup. Beer service was prompt. Come here! Before 8:30, though. Cheers ????

I've been here twice. The first time it was terrible service....I had to go get my own menu and water from the bar. After waiting 15 minutes with no service I approached the bar and asked to put my food order in. But was told i needed a server, who took my order. The food was mediocre at best. I came in again a second time a year later....I totally had forgotten the terrible service the year before. I was quickly reminded. I was with 2 friends this time. We will never be back.

When I first entered the bar there was no welcoming OPEN sign. There was no one to greet us by the door or to tell us where to sit. As a minor (under 19) there was no sign indicating where I should sit (in other bars theres usualy a sign that indicates where minors are allowed to sit) instead we sat and waited for 20 minutes for a lady to tell us we couldn't sit in the bar area. We moved and waited another 20 minutes before someone came to see us. The staff looked over worked and frazzled. The place was clean however and the food was just ok. But after souch a negative experience walking in the food was soured.

Its always a hit and miss for food here, sometimes you leave thinking the meal was special and delicious other times you get burnt fries with a cold burger ( fixing it with the microwave ).. as far as the bar aspect its pretty normal, but fast. I really do feel bad for the servers though regarding there shotty food ( amazing, to wouldnt feed it to a dog). If the food was consistent would be giving it 5 stars.

Made reservations, they did not reserve table. Told to sit wherever we wanted. After sitting for 15 minutes and no service we had a couple seated beside us, were given menus and had drink order taken. My wife and I left feeling like we are invisible. Was busy but wait staff was standing around at bar. Currently having a nice dinner and beer at The Trail Refinery.

This is the kind of bar that hires a dj to play a set, and then will tell him to only play TOP 40, even when half of the crowd there was there to see and dance to HIM and HIS PLANNED SET. Lil tip for this shady bar, maybe get an Ipod or a Radio instead of an actual DJ if you want to hear Top 40s only next time!

I was a little hesitant due to all the 1 star reviews, but it appears that all stems from one night where a DJ played a show that people didn't like or something and isn't actually about the bar's food or service. Service staff was super attentive, the food was good typical pub grub for a good price, and they had some decent beers on tap. I would like to see a bit more selection for local BC beers considering there are soo many great ones, but I suppose they know their clients better than I do. Fine spot to grab a quick bite after a day on the slopes.

I never make bad reviews, but tonight I was very disappointed. The service was awful, our server was extremely rude to us, telling us we never ordered things we asked for and when we mentioned it to her she pulled out her paper saying see look you never ordered it(in a very rude tone) then not checking in with us to see if we wanted more drinks, to then come over saying looks like your done ill get you a takeout box, and coming over telling us your done with your drinks ill get your bill, not asking us if we wanted anything else to drink. Then when we had asked her about the bill and getting the happy hour special she swore at us as she walked away to ask somebody about it. coming back being extremely rude to us when I wasn't even talking about my drinks just the beer on the bill. She was also throwing our receipts on the table and took my friends card then threw it back at him. weather your having a bad night or not there's absolutely no excuse to treat customers your serving in that manner. we didn't tip as much as we usually would have because the way i see it, your suppose to earn your tip not just automatically expect to get it. my friends who were still receiving the same service still tipped you 15% and you had the audacity to throw their receipt's on the table and walk away without even saying goodbye. I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant unless we don't have you as a server. I do hope you read this and learn from this. a tip is a gratitude not a mandatory thing.

Really enjoyed a meal there today. I had the Thai chicken salad and hubby had the beef dip. Both huge portions with real meat not deli meat. Tasty cocktails and friendly service. Bonus that the Kwanis club was there doing meat draws and 50/50 for local fundraising. Will definitely be back next time we visit Trail !!

Doesn't really deserve 1 star tonight... Seriously so shocked that the Arlington Bar & Grill & Catering would hire a professional DJ who had planned and organized a set that excited 50 people to attend their business tonight, only to kick them out for, "not playing top 40", 1.5 hours into the set. After receiving an ultimatum, "play top 40 or leave", half of the bar left the establishment. Everyone was having a good time, there was no violence or conflict, it was an out of the blue decision surprising and disappointing many paying customers tonight. I hope the business owners realize that thousands of dollars in profit were thrown away tonight for this reason along with any chance of this artist/supporting individuals returning due to the opinion of one sole employee. I'm only posting this as a public google review because the option to leave online business reviews on the bar's Facebook page is turned off.

We complained to our waitress when she took a long time to take our order for a second drink, then she brought the wrong drinks. She offered no apology, just excuses. The bouncer told us we have to apologize to her for complaining about our service or we have to leave. We refused and the Assistant Manager came and gave us our bill without caring what we had to say. There is no customer service here, only staff high on power. This was my first time checking out the night life in Trail as I was in town for the Christmas holidays. I would not recommend this establishment.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. I am not exaggerating. We waited 50min for a veggie rice bowl and a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The veggies were previously frozen and served on rice with teriyaki sauce (keep in mind this took 50min). I could have bought this frozen at No Frills for $4. The pulled pork was really bad (sorry I don’t have specifics, this was over a month ago), the only topping was raw onion, and the fries were inedible. The fries were cold inside but tasted like they’d been cooked in really old oil. The fries left a bad taste in my mouth with each bite. I’ve never written a review like this before and put weeks into deciding if I should write this (not the servers’ fault the kitchen cooked this) but serving previously frozen vegetables and bad-tasting fries is likely a regular occurrence here. The bill came to $40 with tip. I regret not taking photos.

Went last night place full with reservations including ours. Food was good and came in prompt time. The only complaint I have is the girl that worked our section was run off her feet I watched her and at some point she was actually running. Management knows they have those reversations why are they not hiring more girls for those perticular nights. I felt sorry for those girls and their safety.
