Hunter Schnitzel. I ordered it and had it outside. It was amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect but that mushroom sauce was spot on. I can't emphasize enough how good it was. Worth every cent.

If you are doing a road trip to Banff and plan to stop by Revelstoke, then you must visit this place! It was such an amazing fusion of German and India food from a well trained chef. Her Indian food will make you feel at home

Aesha

Great food, Aloo gobi has authentic taste, German-Indian fusion works surprising well! Mango Lassi delicious! Nice service too!

It was too hot to cook so I thought I would stop in for the chicken schnitzel, and as usual it was perfect. The schnitzel was unbelievable and the potatoes and vegetables reminded me of my moms home cooking... if you are in Revelstoke and can only eat at one place, this is the place you need to eat .

Sandra Krauer

Very good Indian food! And friendly service :-) EDIT: We came back and tried their Wienerschnitzel and it was really good! (tastes like in Germany or Austria)

Linda Nolan

I have certainly had better Indian food for less. The Samosas and Dahl were too salty, and the Butter Chicken was bland with very little actual chicken. That said, look at this presentation.

DO NOT EAT HERE! This is NOT Authentic Indian Food I’m Indian - you cannot fool me. I know what Indian food tastes like. I ordered Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken when I was in revelstoke. It tasted as if Butter chicken sauce was made using a tomato soup base! TASTED AWFUL! Tandoori chicken wasn’t dry for some reason. If looked like they marinated the Chicken once again after cooking it. Moreover it was UNDERCOOKED! I will never ever go there again!

Alexis

You won't believe that Indian food and German go together so well until you try it here! Generous proportions, great flavors, and a bit of fusion food that you won't get anywhere else! Loved it!

Really disappointed with the takeout packaging at this place - 20$ worth of green curry down that proverbial drain / into our 10cent plastic bag. When our order was packed the foil rim on the packaging wasn’t closed properly on one side and the contents of the curry ended up spilling everywhere on our drive home. Leaving two stars because what little food we had left did taste pretty good - but frustrated at the carelessness in packaging a take out order

The Goat curry had very little spices and the garlic Nan was burnt, I didn't enjoy my dinner at all. They need a more experienced Indian chef

Amazing food and lovely place. Loved the aura. The staff was really polite. Would love to go back.

Absolutely horrendous no salt in any Thai curry Absolutely a ripoff. Not worth your money.Felt like we were drinking coconut milk. Understand that restaurant is located in the remote mountains the food is expensive and there was absolutely no taste.

Love this place! Garden falafel salad was to die for! Green thai curry was creamy with a bit of spice. Love how they list food allergies on their menu. Ladies working are friendly and helpful.

What a lovely little place! I'm of German background and my partner's South Asian, so we had to try this. Very interesting combo! The food took some time, but it was very fresh and delicious. Fairly authentic as well, though it's definitely white people level of spice. We mentioned it to the owner and she was very understanding, and gave us some extra chilies. Given the clientele, it's understandable they'd make it less spicy. Still, the food was very flavourful. A little expensive for South Asian food, but worth it for the experience. Very lovely staff as well! Great drinks too. I hope to come again next time I'm in town!

Came for lunch. The wait was long and immaterial. The food quality and flavor is poor. Every food item at their restaurant tastes like it was frozen. Can clearly tell it's freezer burned. Expensive and not worth it. Auntie who works there is not polite at all. Would not recommend going there.

Ken Dugger

The food here was surprisingly delicious. Don't let the initial look fool you. Warm and friendly service, great prices for the quantity, and the food... So good! Get the appy, definitely worth it

Mackenzie Skoller

What a fantastic place. Great people, great food, great prices, super nice and clean inside. Thanks so much for labeling what food is and isn't vegan on the menu :) Best place for food in Revy ❤????

Justin Rahardjo

I had the vegan daal tarka. It was delicious and filling. I would totally recommend to any vegans/vegetarians. The staff were also very friendly and helpful despite the restaurant being quite crowded.

Isis

Found the food very overpriced unfortunately and not that good tasted freezer burned and like it had been reheated time after time. Their cooks don’t wear masks FYI and they scanned our vaccine passports but allow regular customers in without a mask as well …. I’m not sure how that makes sense. Just overall not a good choice

nimat alhaffar

Good Indian Food. Everyone was helping..the owner shared her experiences living in Rocky mountains. A good place to have Indian food enroute to Banff from Vancouver.

Michelle Yu

Interesting fusion of German and East Indian dishes available. Had the butter chicken spatzale which was a pretty creamy and tangy pasta dish. Prices are a bit steep but this dish was unique. Great service as well.

My family stayed in Revelstoke on a recent road trip and passed by Paramjit's Kitchen. Unfortunately they were closed the day we were there, but we were so excited for an opportunity to try German/Indian fusion that we made a point to stop there on the return trip. It was absolutely worth the extra stop!! We had the butter chicken schnitzel with spatzle, and it was mind blowing. The portion was large, and the tastes and textures complemented each other beautifully. Who knew Indian and German food could come together to form something so delicious?! Truly the best of both worlds! I highly recommend trying out this unique restaurant to anyone visiting Revelstoke!

Kacper Kwapisz

Great food!! Had an Indian curry and the schnitzels - delicious!! Best spatzle outside of Austria. Thank you for a scrumptious meal in the heart of revi!

Megan McGloan

Interesting and tasty mix of flavours, friendly service.

Neel Hirlekar

These people work hard! Yummy food and authentic Chai! My only complaint is it was freezing in the dining room. I would suggest keeping the back door locked during cold weather.

One of the blandest Indian meals I’ve ever had - and I eat Indian all the time. They don’t even ask you what level of spice you want and assume it’s none. Samosas were tiny and burnt, coming with only one chutney in a tiny zip lock bag. They also managed to mix up a 2 meal take away order, consequently when the second meal was finally ready the first one was cold ... Cherry on the cake : no cutlery was provided, thank goodness our hotel reception was still open and able to provide some.

Great food and service. The best schnitzel I have had in Canada! The Indian dishes are good quality but are tailored more for folks who don't eat Indian often. I recommend the schnitzel with butter chicken sauce. There was a fun special when we went that had a small portion of 5 different curries. Check out the picture!

Sarvesh Karmarkar

Food quantity was very low. Even though she helped us after founding stone in food with another half spoon of their food.whixh was ridiculous and embarassing . But overall 2 stars.

Great place for food in Revelstoke! This place was bustling with people and they were so accommodating to try and get everyone in from the cold. There food was delicious, we only tried the Indian - YUM. Tali plate was on special and it was a nice way to get a taste of everything. Very friendly servers and owners!

kavya kashyap

We stopped in town for the night and decided to try the restaurant. Ordered Pad Thai, Daal, and Goat curry. All were quite favour full . Wife also liked the Pakoras. Goat was tender with the right degree of spicy ness

Amber Peters

Wow. I'm totally blown away by the unique fusion experience. Not every fusion restaurant gets it right but Paramjit's Kitchen is a fine example of when the fusion experience brought the best of both cultures out in stunning flavours. I had the butter chicken spätzle and it was amazing. Who would've thought the flavourful butter chicken would go so well with the German spätzle? I've recommended this place to all my friends and family and I hope I could come up soon and try the other fusion dishes this place has to offer. What a hidden gem. A must try if you're anywhere around interior BC. The waitress was also super nice and welcoming. Can't wait to come back.

Absolutely delicious!! My husband and I are both Chef's and we really enjoyed our take away. Tried several dishes, German and Indian, the love and flavour was impressive. Restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Place was packed at 4pm open. Definitely be back next time in town. Well done, high fives!!

Went here with high hopes and we were very disappointed. The naan was stale and tasted like it was freezer burned, and the curry had no flavour to it. Additionally we had terrible service and had to get our own cutlery and plates as they forgot. We will not be returning.

I cannot believe what they are pushing out claiming to be Indian food, It is probably the worst food I have ever had, there is no way this restaurant has such a high rating. This is the third time I gave the restaurant a try and bad like usual. I specifically asked where the owner was to have a chat, I was told that she is working in the back and cannot come out. Please people, stop reviewing it as the best Indian food, it is misleading, it is not even half close to what we call standards!

Worst food ever!! Total rip off. Gave half the quantity in all the food. Total amount ordered was over $150

When one hears that the menu is German and Indian fusion, you have to wonder how this happened. I spoke with the Chef/owner and she said that she is a professionally trained Chef from Austria. The Indian food was from home cooking. Look at the menu and you'll find Thai food as well. We had a party of five and everyone loved the food. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was delicious. I had to try the fusion as well and had the "deep fried bratwurst wonton". I couldn't stop eating the wontons! Two in the party had the Schnitzel and one of them said it was better than the Schnitzel that he had in Germany. Saag Paneer and one of the curries were excellent. Naan bread was excellent. The place was jumping the night we were there and the staff was stretched to keep up with the pace, even with the chef jumping in to help. The prices were reasonable considering that the quality of the food was first class.

Vijay Shivdasani

This restaurant has East Indian and German food. We ordered German . Food was delicious . We truly enjoyed and price was reasonable . The only drawback was the service time. They took a very long time to serve. But staff was very good.

Marie Lee

Food is so good. We ordered aloo prathas. It was so delicious and the lady on the customer desk delivered food to the table with very nice smile. And the lady who made food is also with really good behaviour… thank you for making such delicious prathes…

Great fusion place! You are looking for some unique food in Revelstoke, this is a must try. It does get pretty busy during dinnee time, but its worth the wait. In the photo is the butter chicken spatzle- really good. Also got their chicken korma with garlic naan and both were also delicious.

Trevor Joyal

Recommend by some Germans we met recently on our camping trip and it did not disappoint! 10000% delicious. Loved the fushion of this restaurant - all dishes we had complimented the food style perfectly. Hubby says best butter chicken snitzel of all time. I had the coconut prawn curry dish which was also awesome ???? Homemade Naan bread is a MUST for an add on/side dish. YUM ????

Who would have thought?? German and East Indian mix. My hunter schnitzel was awesome. My vegan partner had the Daal Makhani and loved it.

On the spur of the moment we decided to have dinner at Paramjit’s Kitchen even though it was full inside. We found a table out on the street corner and were given good service by a German lady. We ordered Aloo Gobi masala (Potato Cauliflower gravy) with Naan (Indian bread), and a Dahi Pakora Curry (Fritters in Yogurt curry) with Rice. It tasted almost like our home food back in India. The food and the music brought back memories from home. Prices were very reasonable. We complimented the Indian hosts after our meal.

Bhavneet Kaur

Staff was rude and they kept us waiting for more than 20 mins even though we placed the order an hour before. Naans were very crusty, chana masala didn't have any masala. Will not recommend going there.

James Barrett

Great food. Unique in the sense of Indian and German style of food. Service was great with knowledge of the menu and explaining the different options. Food came out quickly and tasted great. They have some Thai options as well. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back next time in revelstoke.

Harjot Kaur

Pretty satisfied with the Vegan Tofu Pad Thai and the delicious Vegan Coconut Green Curry that we tried there. It is a place that we will for sure return and recommend others when they come to Revelstoke. Service was also very kind and you can see all the food preparation on the kitchen via the glass to outdoor and the open concept in the restaurant. I wish the team and owner the best success.

@Paul Surrey I read your review and I have to say you have absolutely no idea what good food is!!! If you took the time to read the menu you would have read that they serve NON TRADITIONAL FUSION CUISINE… being of German decent I understand that means that it is NOT AUTHENTIC INDIAN CUISINE it is a mixture of culinary and cultural delights. Who knew I could have schnitzel, butter chicken, spaetzle and bratwurst wontons all together, and it’s delicious, maybe you should have taken the time to read the menu. I also think taking food advice from a person that ate chicken wraps and cheese burgers for 3 days is probably not the best idea for someone who wants to enjoy a meal… hopefully the next time you go out for something to eat you will read the menu so you don’t look like a fool again

Donna Connell

The greatest food I have ever had! Unbelievable!!

Sir Eatsoutalot

A friend brought me and I will definitely come back! Really good food, vegetarian samosas are delicious, I ordered Shahi paneer that was really tasty! Also friendly service :)

Rob Doucet

Delicious food with amazing friendly staff! I've never left this place without a smile! Such an interesting fusion of quality Indian, German and Thai food. My personal favourite is the butter chicken schnitzel with spaetzle, sooo good! The daily soup is always great as well, and two flavours of delicious fresh pressed juice available too

Paul Surrey

Worse green curry I have ever had. Tastes like water. No fish sauce, no curry paste in there, missing lots of the basic ingredients. Look up Hot Thai kitchen for a recipe.

Neil Korotash

Great little restaurant for Indian and German food.

Mary Larsen

Amazing food. Great fusion of German and Indian cuisine. I tried the butter chicken schnitzel with rice and it was too good! I’m definitely coming back! Keep up the great work!

A small unique international blend of East Indian German and Asian. A clean quaint relaxing atmosphere for Revelstoke. The food and coffee are superb. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. This spot is a must try when in Revelstoke. Good for a quick bite or a romantic dinner. Either way your taste buds will thank you. All the that was missing was chopsticks. Absolutely loved it.

B&M

There's something so unique about this place. Absolutely creative! My favorite curry when I visited India was navratan korma and have been looking for someone who can make it like how tasted there since then. This is the closest it's come!

Avneet Kaur

The amazing smells brought us there. Butter chicken was excellent but I suspect everything is. The chocolate mousse cake is homemade.

Was craving some Indian food, so decided to try this place after looking at the reviews on here and google. Also, we liked how their menu had listed food allergens. Worst mistake and ruined my whole trip when it cause my wife and infant daughter to have severe food poisoning. I understand such issues can happen, but when food is cooked by owner's mother at home and then brought in, who knows what kind of food safety regulations are being followed or not. We confirmed with them that samosas are done that way and also chicken s are precooked and then added to the food. We ordered multiple items, both Indian and Thai. None of them were tasting as they should or served warm for that matter. It looked like they just tossed the precooked/canned ingredients and added the sauce to it, without hitting them properly. The naan looked like store-bought pita bread, which they slapped lowest quality garlic butter on. The mango lassi was pretty much watered down yogurt with a hint if mango juice, instead of thick yogurt with mango puree. I'm all about supporting the mom and pop shops, but this one is just not up to any standards. Service didn't even exist. The server just took our order and then delivered the food, after waiting about 45 minutes. They never came to check up on us. The prices are significantly high for their location, quality and portions.

Up Down

Initially we were skeptical as German and Indian are not 2 ethnic foods we would group together but after some discussion we decided to give it a try for lunch. I am so glad we did...we loved our lunch so much we came back for dinner. Easily the best schnitzel we have tastes and the curries were fantastic. We will be planning a day trip just to come back and eat. Everything was fantastic...staff was amazing!!!
