It's hard not giving the Cottage 5 stars. It's been a staple of Regina for about 40 years. The menu has barely changed since then and it's consistently amazing. Pro tip: save a few bucks and get the veal cutlets. One of the least expensive dishes on the menu, it's arguably the best.

Great place for a simple but delicious fine foodie experience, We had traveled to Regina from Calgary, Alberta to visit some friends and this place was suggested to us for a great dinner. We started with a few apps and some salads along with delicious free garlic bread. The salads were great, full of flavour and very appealing. The apps (Baked Feta & Escargot) were a good hit but a little on the costly side for what you got. Mains we had a large selection from steaks to salmon, ribs and the seafood platter. Over all the mains had been well put together with loads of flavour and large portions, the only down sides to the mains the ribs were a little tough and the prawns slightly overcooked. We assume with covid restrictions it makes service from kitchen slower making the food cook a little more in the hot dishes so we were not too upset about the few flaws. If you are in the area be sure to check this place out, the service is amazing the staff are super friendly and funny and the food is well worth the price overall.

Cosy and comfortable experience. Excellent customer service with some unique appetizers. Able to comfortably chat at our table, despite a busy evening crowd. Apps and mains were quite good. An excellent alternative to an evening at a restaurant like The Keg.

Everything about our experience at The Cottage was top notch. The ability to contact the restaurant to make our reservation online with a quicker than promised response time was convenient. The restaurant was busy but still has an atmosphere designed to have conversations easily. We had a table of 7 ladies, our waiter was helpful with recommendations, attentive and friendly. The food was divine and the portions are filling. Greek chicken with the house special potatoes, Baklava... nom nom nom. Highly recommend for a date or a larger get together.

Used to be my favourite place. Went on December 24th to celebrate our daughters birthday. The waiter was good and he has been there for a long time. Splurged and orders lobsters @$70 for two. You couldn't even cut them let alone eat them without breaking a tooth. Said something but the waiter just seemed to dismiss it. My bill was ridiculous for what we were served. Many other great places to spend my money but the cottage will not be one of them anymore.

Absolutely amazing food, truly mouth watering. Splendid service with a high end yet pleasantly comfortable atmosphere. A great place for a celebration dinner or family dinner. Less of a place for children but still selections for children on the menu so definitely an option! As well the bathrooms are very clean well lit and had a light fresh scent.

Not nearly as good as it used to be. Steaks were very fatty and not well seasoned. Stuffed trout had bones throughout it and the stuffing had the smallest scallops and shrimp I've ever seen. Vegetables were not cooked thru. Wait staff made a mess of our table spilling water and food. Not interested in going back any time soon.

One of the top traditional steak houses in Regina. They have been around for more than 25 years and there is a reason for that. It's a very busy spot and you will need reservations for weekends and holidays.

This is my go to restaurant for special occasions. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The wait staff is very helpful and friendly. The rib steak is so incredible! You smile as soon as you take a bite. I love topping mine with the Neptune sauce. Can’t wait to dine in again now that restrictions have been lifted!

I have found this to be an excellent place to eat. The food is consistently flavourful, service extremely good, warm welcoming atmosphere . The best Liver plate in the city...that is if you like liver. Other food choices do not disappoint either. Helpings are large. They have a very tasty appetizer small Greek type salad with your entre. All in all a satisfying meal. Go there for a good experience. It is always full of customers too.

I loved my dinner experience here. With my aunt and mother, we enjoyed three different chicken plates and the house dressing on the salad is phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and kind which I really appreciated. The atmosphere here is cozy, formal but not too formal; welcoming. Will come here again when I'm in Regina visiting family for sure! I don't go here that often as fine dining is not something I do too much. My girlfriend is an amazing cook. So i'm fine dining all the time. When ever I have gone out to a nice fancy restaurant. This is where I go. I am sure I have eaten here a few dozen times over the last 42 years. There food is amazing! Service has always been fantastic and I love the look inside. Absolutely my favorite fine dining restaurant in the city. They have never let me down. Went for lunch today and they continue to impress me. Thank you so much Cottage.

It was a reasonable meal, but not as good as I expected after hearing rave reviews. Garden salad was not very interesting at all, with iceberg lettuce and not much else. Salmon was pretty good. Lasagna was not worthy of the $24 price tag. Two things were excellent - the pace of the meal was good, not too rushed. And the baklava was delicious.
