Had one of my best experiences at Skye Cafe. To begin with, the place was so welcoming and the service was really exceptional. The chef/owner himself came to greet us and escorted us to our table. We ordered multiple items of which the savory waffle (as posted in the picture) I had was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. Would love to visit again and try more of their delicious dishes. I usually order a classic eggs benny if I see it on a menu since I make it all the time and like to compare. This is the first time I've thought the restaurant Benny was better than what I make at home. Also the mocha was divine. Hoping to come back and try more of the menu! Service was great. Very good service, nice clean comfortable place. I got the Mediterranean bowl and it was way more delicious than I expected, really really good stuff. The mango craft soda was not so good. Overall a very good experience. I'd definitely go back for that Mediterranean bowl alone.

Disappointed. Thought of making the place a consistent routine but after a bad experience it’s hard to say. Ordered the Hawaiian Pancakes as I really enjoyed them before, but was disappointed to see this time I got undercooked -dough filled- and charred pancakes. After asking for something to be changed I simply received a changed piece of pancake but cooked the same way and was simply told that the staff assured me it was cooked (but my and my two friends taste buds beg to differ) after asking to change to French Toast, what I got wasn’t any different, they were deflated less than edible slabs of toast on a plate. Safe to say I went home hungry, with my stomach upset and disappointed in the whole ordeal. ( pictures say it all)

The atmosphere is warm, and comforting. I love the many plants hanging from the ceiling, comfortable seating, and lots of natural light. The chicken and waffles are well balanced with a soft and well cooked belgian waffle, a savoury gravy, and crispy yet tender boneless chicken pieces. I also tried the Rose White Chocolate, Pistachio Latte with a shot of espresso and it was sweet, creamy and nutty.

The Owner made sure we knew everything about the menu and the wife is an incredible chef as well. I have been to the restaurant serval times and every time I was the owner always took the time to stop by our table to greet us and to greet the rest of the customers. The staffs are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The food is incredible from the appetizers and the sauces. The best restaurant in Regina. No doubt!

Hosted my Moms 70th birthday here this October, the service and the food was amazing! We had a cute little private space at the back booked, we could mingle a bit before we sat to eat. The food came out promptly and was so tasty. The presentation and the taste was great. The dessert was also really good. Thanks for hosting Skye.

One of my favorite brunch places in Regina! Highly recommended! Egg Benedict's are good. Stake is good as well. P.S. a quick note for the owners of the restaurant, recently I visited and I came with friends from Vancouver, everything was okay until I recieved my order half an hour after everyone got their orders and the reason was, sorry our oven was full! I mean this is not ACCEPTABLE! AS A CHEF also increase the variety of menus! When was the last time you changed? Also increase the food quality control ;)

If you are in Regina the Skye Cafe &Bistro is a must. Located attached to the Science Centre in the old power plant in north Wascana Park the ambience is great with local art (pottery, glass, paintings) displayed. The garden is lush and contains herbs for the Chef. The food was incredible and served as artfully as the works surrounding us. An award winner for good reason!

We are on a road trip from Sonoma California to Montreal and found this little gem online! What a find. Food was inventive, fresh, beautifully prepared. Just delicious. They grow their own veggies and herbs, have a great terrace if the weather is suitable and very nice atmosphere inside if it isn't. But for us, what really made this find special were the people. Everyone there last Saturday morning including the owners, one chefing in the kitchen and her husband working out front with their patrons, were just the most gracious, sweet people you could imagine. Authenticity goes a long way... Don't leave without getting a macaroon or a meringue star bite. So awesome, not too sweet, full of flavor! Yum! Thank you Skye!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating without hovering. The Masti was AMAZING! Portions were ample and reasonably priced. Tea is served in real teacups and saucers, and if you're lucky you can have a chat with the owner about the merits of more or less ginger or cinnamon in your chai. It was a delightful luncheon, in a sunny, plant filled room. Vaccinations are required, so it felt like safe space, too.

I've had the coconut curry chicken and the fried chicken and waffles at Skye. Both dishes were absolutely delicous, with generous portions. On both occasions I was there for lunch, and service was quick, even though the restaurant was full. The lunch menu offers about 15 items, with new dishes added regularily. Prices are in the midrange, with most lunch entres around $20. Atmosphere was bright, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommended for an upscale lunch.

The food is amazing and prices are fair. I wish they were open for supper time as well and had changed their menu more often. What an outstanding cute little restaurant. We did not have a reservation and they were buzzing for lunch. The owners and chefs Milton and Louise did get us a table. The Chefs gave us tour of their on premise garden the restaurant. Amazing to see all glass window painting, many of the crockery have been hand made by the two amazing folks. The meal was equally outstanding. My beef Ramen was just perfect and so flavourful. Will drop on in again on my return drive from Toronto to Vancouver.

Nice atmosphere, and friendly staff and the menu had good variety. I gave it 4 stars because the food lacked something that would make it spectacular. It was good food but not "oh my god this is amazing" kind of good which for almost $20 a lunch entree you would want it to be. I think they can definitely amp up the flavour profile of the dishes rather than holding back. Also the menu is a little all over the place from Indian, Asian, Polish to New England and Southern classics. Not a cohesive theme and hard to find a signature dish.

Oh my goodness. I finally had to chance to experience Skye at lunch yesterday. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Chef Milton even took the time to come to our table and greet us personally. Of course the setting in Wascana Park is ideal, but wait til you see the setup and decor inside. And the menu is fabulous, there is no other word for it. You can eat in a lot of nice places in Regina these days, but Milton and Louise Lu have created a dining experience here that is truly extraordinary.

I went into Skye cafe with high expectations based on word of mouth and was completely blown away. The decor is beautiful and the staff are genuinely pleasant. I went on a cold winter day and Skye was the perfect afternoon escape from the cold into a warm and delicious experience. We had the pork bao (10/10) and the mushroom ravioli (9/10).

The atmosphere here is very classy without being pretenious. I showed up in jeans and a collared shirt and felt underdressed. The chef is waaaay to qualified to be in Regina. Aesthetic, aesthetic! A lovely cozy tea-style room with an abundantly flavorful and varied menu. I was delighted to discover vegan options, and the attention to food presentation. This is definitely a new favorite spot. Though busy times might require a reservation. A beautiful place for tea and a visit, or a light lunch.

This place is amazing. I don’t live in Regina but I’m here visiting family. Took my daughter to the science center and was looking for somewhere to lunch. We found this cafe & bistro, and I was so impressed! It feels like a classy bistro, is very welcoming and bright. They have a kids menu as well which is cool. The lunch menu was sophisticated which I did not expect. I was expecting sandwiches but I ended up getting lobster lol. The staff took great care of us and was very accommodating. The place was quite busy as well, but a mid-weekday! I don’t know if a visitor or even locals know how great this place is?? Everyone should come here at least once!

The husband and I planned on going here when we came to Regina today. About 20 minutes before we got there, we called to see if Dine-In was available and we were told that it was and that we just needed to wear a mask. We show up and a member of the staff walks up to us and informs us that we can't be served because they're about to have an event. You think that they'd mention that when we called but also... I don't know what kind of "event" they could be hosting with the current restrictions in place. To say that we were disappointed is putting it lightly. We were quite mad, to be honest, since we had driven out of our way to eat here.

If you are looking for a cozy ambiance with comfy service and lip smacking food, sky is your go to place. We tried their Crab Benedict and Chillaquils Avocado and it was nicely done with spree of flavours. I would not hesitate to rate sky amongst the top three restaurants in Regina. Next time you plan on going somewhere nice and easy pick Sky, it's worth the visit!

This place has outstanding food! We had a private event and the owner made it very easy for us. Service was incredible, decor was beautiful. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Regina.

Wow! Quality of food is excellent. Decor is inviting and make sure you are either early or make reservations for brunch as this place fills up quickly. Very pleasant folks there. Will be returning to check out the other dishes. Next to the lake too.
