I'm going to tell it to you straight and be brutally honest. Okay, the staff are nice, they make a good breakfast, and they do make the best cinnamon buns in Regina, but that's all in my opinion. I'm sorry, but the "lemon potatoes" were disgusting, the steak sandwich was so thin and sinewy you could see through it and the "chicken cordon bleu" was not chicken cordon bleu for $25. It was sliced deli chicken (or turkey?) with a slice of ham on top and melted cheese on top of that. Fine if you want to offer it, but don't call it cordon blue (that's an insult to the French). At least tell customers exactly what they're getting - seems kind of tricky or sneaky to me. What happened to wanting customers to come back? I think repeat customers are 75% of most businesses revenue.

A group of us have been searching for Reginas best pan scrambler, tried Nicky's today and found them to not quite hit the mark. Potatoes a little undercooked, small amount of cheese added, and the meatlover had all the meat chopped and cooked with the eggs. They did offer great carry out bags.

Haven't ate at cafe for awhile now but have bought many prepared meals for farm at harvest and seeding. Will be doing this every year and will always have in deep freeze throughout year. So good and so handy. Have had Greek Chicken, Meatloaf , Chicken Parmesean, Pork Cutlets, Salisbury Steak , Turkey Dinner and the Ukrainian meals. Turkey dinner is my favorite the Ukrainian my least . I highly recommend these meals , great flavors.

First visit was on Christmas Eve - breakfast with the crew. Busy place, but we were seated quickly. Coffee was standard fare, but the omelette I ordered (The Canadian with added diced tomatoes) was excellent! It arrived fairly quickly and was hot and tasty. Very enjoyable. Prices were competitive with other breakfast places, and they had several specials with very reasonable prices that others took advantage of. Our server was efficient and friendly. I will be returning, and will be trying their new location in Emerald Park as well!

Ask for a rare steak and got a medium to well done. Waitress offered to take it back but I said no. I bit into steak and it did not taste good at all. I ate the fries and sat most of the time with an empty glass. I felt bad because the person that took me had been trying to get me to go there for a while. They paid for the meal and the waitress took half the price of my meal off. I felt bad for the waitress as she was very apologetic and tried to make it right. First time and the last time I go here.

Wonderful vegan cabbage rolls and I wouldn't have known they were meatless if someone hadn't told me. Cutlets, liver and onions, Ukrainian dinner... these are the frozen dinners we've tried so far and they are all very good. Nice people! That plus really good quality foods are the big draw!

I was on a steak night on 2016/11/23, I must say the BBQ Rips and Roost Potatoes was not the greatest or best! It was okay. I could not finish the plate, the potatoes had way to much lemon flavor and the Ribs was not cooked right and taste like rubber, it had to much BBQ sauce, that the server didn't asked me how my food tasted and checked on me once! The steak night dinner was not busy it had least 16 peoples or less, I am sorry to write this review, I wont be coming back for few months or longer!

Walked into Nicky,s Friday morning for a first time visit. We stood at the counter for 15 minutes, with one lady at the till. Three waiters were giggling and joking at the back, and we stood there. Not once were we acknowleged, or even given a second glance. We decided to leave and went to A&W where we were helped. Sad actually. I heard so many good things about the place.

Sweet jesus let me live in this building. NEVER in my life have i had food as expertly prepared as the staff at nickys cafe does. Weither your a long time resident or just here for the night i highly reccomend popping in and trying one of the delicious items on there menu.

Food is decent, but the restaurant is filthy. Shoes sticking to the floor. Tacky and sticky tables. It was pretty gross. We were seated in the sunroom where it had a definite smell.

Classic Greek diner food, well represented. Awesome staff, plenty of regulars and Nicky's homemade lentil soup is legendary. Also some of the best eggs benny in town. Pick up a bottle of their very own olive oil or the recipe for that famous lentil soup while your there. You will be pleased.

Very Gross & Disrespectful!! My partner found Hair on his plate, they Argued saying it was an Eyelash then I find a Longer peace of Hair cooked in my Hashbrowns they then Argued again saying they never have this problem. We find out Friends also had the same thing happen to them. I recommend eating elsewhere
