Ordered from SkipTheDishes - they didn't pack cutlery and there was no option to add cutlery. I didn't end up being able to eat my food because I had no access to cutlery at all. Shameful.

this place is trash... the staff was very rude ... i went in for a buffet with a friend and they didnt even have enough chicken or kababs for 2 ppl.. we waited 30 mins for more food then left and when i told the old man what is this he said THANK YOU ....LOL never go here its a waste of time and money

What a wonderful place to dine, ran by a kind, welcoming family. Great local business! Small staff, but considering, the service is excellent. Food is delicious, and don't forget to try their desserts! I've ordered maybe 3 of my birthday cakes there and they were a huge hit.

A total waste of money. Food is without any taste. There is no garnishing, no seasoning, no flavoring, no salt and no chili of any kind in the food. This food is definitely not Afghani. The idea is to attract a white Canadian crowd by offering bland Afghan food. I went to this restaurant with my family, had a buffet and came out spending $140 thinking what the heck we have done. Definitely not recommended.

We tried their dinner buffet 4 of us we were impress the food was fantastic high end menu items on buffet style from the ribs to the chicken biryani to the very tasty vegetarian items and also delicious unique rice pudding also the service was great friendly people highly recommend for everyone Thanks Afghan Cuisine .

Hi. First time here and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. This was a great experience for me, I've never had Afghan food before. First of all it was obvious that these people take pride in the food they make. And yes unlike the awful Chinese restaurants in this town. They actually make their own food. Food was fresh and tasty. One of the things I really liked was that the food wasn't overtly salty. No need for buckets of water. Fabulous staff & owner. Nice people, please support them.

I have been going here for years. If you are new and trying it out I definitely recommend the beef/ or veg Mento. Also their chicken kabob is super juicy. I've almost tried everything on the menu with zero disappointment. It is 100% food for the soul.

At work we’re craving a good meal decided to go Afghan Cuisine in Regina almost the whole group of 14 people were satisfied, again the food was amazing the beef ribs sooo delicious and mouth watering chicken BBQ! lots of healthy options and beautiful rice pudding the service was excellent and super friendly owner / staff I personally recommend this place to anyone you won’t be disappointed

Had lunch at the restaurant from the menu. First off when you enter the place the smell is amazing. Mouth watering. The place is super clean. The owner is very nice. We had an appetizer and a main dish. Both were absolutely amazing. I asked if mine could be made a bit spicier and they accommodated. It was perfect. Flavours that you don't get anywhere else in the city.

I went there while finding some halal option nearby in Regina based on google reviews and I found them good. It's a small family restaurant with a nice option of buffet in the evening/night. I chose to order from the menu as I didn't plan to eat much. The taste was good and service was fine. However, the chicken was a bit more salty and I didn't even get regular water to drink so that was bad. I would go there again if visited Regina next time.

Worst restaurant in Regina. Buffet items are refilled very slowly and in limited quantity to kill your appetite and frustrate you. A big old guy would always be starring at your plate while taking food. Never going there again!

The Buffet is so good! ???? I had never had Afghan food before, but everything was so tasty! The rice was great, it tasted like dessert! The Beef rib was tender. And the dessert was nice with puffed pasty and cream, and rice and cinnamon. Unfortunately I can't remember the names of the dishes, but everything is three stars or more!

I honestly and truly have ONLY positive things to say. First of all, the FOOD is absolutely AMAZING - fabulously delicious is the only way to describe it. I have been looking for a good ethnic restaurant that reminds me of my Mom's cooking who cooks amazing kebabs, rice, and stews - I think it's safe to say that this restaurant is it :) Their rice, stews, and kebabs are SO good! And the customer service is simply impeccable - Faisal is so very welcoming and has a very calming presence... and when I am eating, that's exactly what I want and expect from the staff! Both the food and the customer service from this place will definitely make me keep going back :) Insha'Allah see you next payday!

We had a good quality lunch here. We ordered a Falafel as a starter, it was crispy and well cooked but it would be better if it was a little saltier and spicier, it comes with a sauce and a small pickle which makes up for the salt. We had two kinds of kebabs, the one with ground beef and the chicken kebab, both were delicious especially the chicken kebab which was marinated with Safron. The rice was good as well. At the end we had tea with Napoleon which was awesome! I think they have added ginger to the tea and Napoleon had a taste of rose water which was pleasant. Overall everything was good and the staff are nice people as well. I recommend this place.

The food here is absolutely amazing. They used to have a buffet which i enjoyed as it was convenient for quick lunch and sampling various menu items but ordering off the menu was speedy and delicious, and the food was even better than expected. The staff and owner are always incredibly friendly, and the dining room and washrooms are clean.

Phenomenal! I don't know much about Afghan cuisine but with all those bursts of flavour and spices, I'd like to believe its authentic. Very very delicious. The meats were very juicy and tender, and the salad very fresh. I was told that they make their own desserts here but got too full to try any. Instead we ordered green and black tea which was strong in cardamom and cinnamon flavours in a good way. Also, our server, whom I think is the owner, wore a mask, sat customers at least one table away from each other, and wiped the card machine which means they're following safety measures during this difficult time. Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and mouthwatering food. Highly recommend.

Afghan Cuisine came highly recommended and I will also pass on this high recommendation! The food was well prepared and tasted delicious. I had the lamb stew which came with sweet rice. They tasted good on their own but when you combine the bites the dish comes alive! The lamb was stewed until it easily broke when cut with a spoon. The dishes are well developed and balanced. The only developmental feedback I have is that the waiter could have been more observant, however they appeared possibly understaffed. Treat yourself and dine here!

Have been meaning to try this place since I saw it opened, and finally went for the lunch buffet. Amazing food!!!! Fabulous service. Cosy quiet cute little restaurant. They use a lot of spices for flavour but the food is NOT hot spicy type food. Everything is so delicious. I HATE eggplant but decided I was going to try everything at the buffet, which included an eggplant dish...it was incredible and I even had seconds of it!! Plus they have THE BEST chai tea!

This place is totally underrated. Phenomenal juicy mouth watering authentic food and very attentive service. Only two minor complaints. The first is that they don't serve alcohol. The second is that it's a pretty small place and despite there being a few people it felt too quiet for my own tastes. I think a bit of music could help boost the atmosphere.

This restaurant is so underrated. I hope they have continued success so they stay in Regina. The food is amazing, either by the plate or the buffet. The rice pudding with the rosewater and cardamom is SO good.

The food here is very good, we’ll balanced spicing with some typical sweetness (but not too much). My server was friendly and attentive, without being overly present! The restaurant is located on a strip mall, and still they were able to create an inviting, if simple, ambience. In the picture below is: lamb and yellow lentil stew served with spiced (flavourful not “hot”) Basmati rice topped with carrots and cinnamons soaked raisins. Very flavourful Finished of with a black Chai (cardamom and cinnamon spiced).

Great food. Wonderful staff. Reasonable prices. And their chai tea is amazing. EDIT: Ordered takeout today the first time post-COVID. Still incredibly fresh and delicious. I wasn't sure if it was still open because the open sign is not clearly visible from the street, but it is open and the food is still great. Can't recommend highly enough.

I ordered from this restaurant on skip the dishes, delivery was fine but when I ordered it was 90$ for a dinner for 4 I expected a lot of food and nice spices and flavored , they even said three different kinds of kebabs, well I was wrong, very wrong, I received two different types of rice, both extremely bland , the majority of the meal was rice , also the kabobs , small bite sized pices yes, I understand what a kabob is, but these were about equivalent to on chicken breast for two kabobs maybe half a steak and half a pound of hamburger meat which tasted of mostly bread and egg, it came with some other tomatoes dish that I didn't prefer o, other might, and a small container of sauce, for 90$ , I cook a lot and I know that the ingredients used in this probably didn't cost them more than 10$ , for 90$ I can feed 8 to 10 people kabobs and rice, complete and utter rip off I will never order here or ever recommend this place, I would even go out of my way to warn people of this place , there my rant is done, I am still so mad

I try to eat here at least once a month. The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet, and the food is my go to comfort food right now. I always end up with delicious leftovers because of the healthy portions. Afghan food is savoury, full of spices (not hot spices), and perfectly rich. Great comfort food. Booths are set up well for 4, they can do larger parties with tables. They also do take out and delivery. Must Try: Potato and Leek Bulanie and Mento

Food is tasteless and bland very small portions and overpriced too. The platter for two is enough for one the single kebab meal is overpriced too. It’s not what we would call Afghan food! If you have eaten Afghani food in Toronto or other main cities this is restaurant is nothing like that food. We won’t be coming back here again.

Went there ordered their best sellers, 2 meals and one lamb chop, was around 70 dollars. Came back home and saw the lamb was burnt and dry and the rice was flavourless. They could have not served the burnt food, but i guess they dont care about the customer. I dont think its not worth the price.

Mediocre At Best This place is grossly overpriced for what you get. Their buffet is $17 and it literally only has like 5 items. There were also many empty dishes such as naan when we went. The food lacks flavor and the restaurant itself is very small and dingy. For what you pay, go to any other indian/middle eastern restaurant and you will have a better experience.
