Great bbq house! Very clean building and nice layout, friendly staff and a nice environment. The food came out quick and hot, the price was very fair and the food was delicious. One of the better bbq houses I have been to, and easily one of the better barbecue sauces! Wings were great, fries felt home cooked. One of the better restaurants I have been to in Red Deer.

Not a very friendly environment staff are rude. Me and my girlfriend didn't feel welcome definitely not coming back. Staff members were playing on there cellphones and joking around while we were trying to eat. Also a bit over price.

I Don’t recommend the shrinks as the portion is pretty little. Also prices are a little step. Other than that I recommend any of the meats and fries ! Especially the wings and briskets !

Since the last bbq place closed down I figured I'd give this place a try, The restaurant is cozy and feels good to be in and smells great walking thru the door. Our waiter was decent on getting our drinks and order done quickly but we both noticed he kept eavesdropping on our convo and made it feel like we couldnt really enjoy the experience. The food was great for flavor but we got there about 7 and the meat really had that dry and been sitting around texture to it. Chicken was the worst for being dry and no juice. Baked beans were amazing and really made a person wish they offered more as a serving.. they could be a meal on their own! Over all the food was pretty great other then being dry and if we got a different waiter. Price was a touch high but not out of hand. Been debating on coming back to see if it was just a bad day or if it's always like that. Will update then.

Always awesome food and the service is top shelf. The bourbon isn't too bad either. Lol. Get the Elvis platter to share with friends and include the seafood medley. The calamari is spicy but oh so damn good. This place is my version of Cheers, we love going here. Will try to find a photo to add later if I can do that.

The atmosphere is fun and friendly! Service is superb! Fast and accurate, helpful and full of suggestions for first timers. The food is to die for if Southern BBQ is what you’re looking for. With blues music going in the background you get a real southern diner experience. Erin our servers hospitality blew us away with courtesy and extra mile she went to ensure our take home portion we had ordered was done just right so it would be as fresh as possible. When visiting Red Deer again, we will be back.

Very dissapointed. Im hanging onto my memories of Vancouver MB but this one just not measure up. Got the platter for me and my parents and the ribs were chewy and rubbery. The brisket was too fatty and the sides tasted old. I know this a pandemic but honestly it feels like they stopped trying. I spent $73 for something that tasted worse than three day old leftovers. I am being generous with the 2 stars please do better guys...

This is by far the best bbq in town. Get the ribs, rib ends, brisket, po’boys and wash it down with Boylan root beer. Will be back for the service and delectable bbq. Serious bbq, forget the bad reviews. Thanks Memphis Blues and keep it smokin’.

Absolutely delicious food, attentive waitress Candice made the space very inviting. The soft blues really set the tone and got our belly's ready for all that smoked goodness. With pretty decent prices we were able to share a combo platter and be satisfied. Flavour over abundance, but oh is it ever worth it. The Brisket is a must have! The beans, are better when mixed with their bbq sauce. Come foodies and enjoy the best smokehouse in Red Deer!

Had this about a month ago and it was pretty tasty. I really liked the fire dusted calamari and the beef brisket was cooked perfectly. The sides were okay but overall i enjoyed it.

First meal since restaurants opened, top notch staff, friendly and then unobtrusive. Fully loaded nachos with brisket, cornbread shrimp, and wings. Wings were definitely stand out, tried dry rub, and the brisket was the best I have had yet (sorry mom)

Don't arrive too early for dinner. My 1/2 chicken and fries all tasted like lunch leftovers. Chicken was dry and the fries were warm and chewy...Coleslaw was salty, and the BBq sauce does have a lot of molasses. The beans were ok. Took away a star for no response.

Its pretty sad when you leave a BBQ house and you have to go across the street to grab a burger to finish your lunch, but first time for everything I guess. Brisket Sandwich was very small portion of meat and beans and slaw in 2oz bullet cups are pretty weak as well. Needs improvement.

Hands down the best brisket I have ever had in a restaurant. I’ve been to Texas a few times, and this place is as close as you’re going to get to actual southern BBQ. The rib ends were great too, but Brisket is my favourite and I was not disappointed here. The service was great and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!

I'm a long haul truck driver and go to Texas twice a month. I eat my fair share of bbq. I will say I'm very impressed with the brisket here. It tastes very comparable to the brisket in the south. Honestly was not expecting it to be as good as it was but will definitely be back.

Take out order and 2 sides were missing. The bun for the pulled chicken was a mass manufactued bun and I expected more. Got a bone in the pulled chicken and they did not have salad. The slaw was the worst i ever had and i couldn't eat it. It was really disappointing as I was looking forward to good BBQ

The BBQ pork poutine fries were amazing and a great price but I did feel the combo platter was a bit pricey for getting a good amount of meat but then to get a small container of potato salad. Would definitely come back to try other dishes

First timer.....catfish po boy was pretty good... Needed salt... Fries were small and just ok.... Coleslaw smelled and tasted funky...potatoes salad ehh.....brisket good.... Ribs to dry.... Beans good.... Cornbread good.....no butter.......bbq sauce had alot of molasses.... Had to ask for a glass for my beer..... Overall... Just Ok

I was very happy with my meal. The fries here are soooo good! A couple of drawbacks were: no salt and pepper on the table; they only serve American-style ice tea; no soap in the restroom; and the faucet didn’t work well either.

Really dry pulled pork , meh "fix'ns" . It's obvious the cook has no interest in the restuarants long term success... If I cooked this I'd be embarrassed to serve it , it's honestly the worst pulled pork I've ever had, no seasoning , so dry... bbq sauce was ok, but the coleslaw flavorless. The owner needs to take a look at his/hers kitchen staff if they want this restaurant to stay in business. I had plans to try everything on the menu , but if they cant get pulled pork right , I'm not to optimistic about anything else on the menu. I wont be coming back. I'm sure alot of other BBQ enthusiasts feel the same .

Just had supper at memphis blue. The meal was very filling. Had the memphis platter for 2 to 4 people. Well it was a large amount of food. There were 4 of us and we had left overs to take home. Unfortunately there was no lemonade or unsweetened ice tea. The nacho's with the pulled pork were awesome. The place was a bit chilly and could have been a bit cozier.

The BBQ meats were mostly excellent. The chicken was quite dry. However the side dishes were not very good at all. The beans were ok, as was the cornbread. The coleslaw was inedible, it had a terrible metallic/sulfurous taste. The potato salad was tasteless, and smelled off. The fries were old, overcooked and we each only managed a few before giving up. The sauce was pretty good, it was salty, but that is to be expected with southern food and it did compliment the meat very well. I honestly don't think we will be ordering from here again. As an aside... it was for my husband's birthday :(

Not impressed Memphis BBQ ???? Ordered the famous beef brisket that was recommended by waitress and was looking to be blown away, need less to say fell short just okay, definitely not what I’d expect coming from a company based on the smoked mondo!! My sides were over seasoned fries and sour coleslaw. Won’t be going back but give it a try and you’ll see it for yourself. Don’t go all in just order smaller portions to test first.

Out with the family on Saturday night. We wanted to try something different from the standard Cara's restaurants. This is Red Deer's best kept secret!!! Insane and authentic BBQ restaurant. Brisket, yes! Smoked anything, yes! Cornbread and collard greens to die for! And their Caesars are beyond delish! This is going to be our little secret but RD has no idea how amazing this restaurant ruly is. So happy to have found this place and cannot wait to be back.

The food was mediocre. Extremely fatty brisket. Dry as dirt cornbread and pricey! The part that will keep me away was this... 2 people sharing the shrimp Appy consists of 7 shrimp at a cost of 14$. I messaged restraunt and was told my concerns would be forwarded to head office. A first and last for me! I don't go out often and this just confirms why!

Didn't like the coleslaw and the BBQ sauce was just ok but that's a personal preference, I'm sure they're exactly how they're meant to be.

They said they were completely booked up but for later time. They didnt rush us at all. They seemed to want to make sure we had a great experience. Would definitely go again ????????
