I have frequented two of their locations several times and the door has always been well prepared and tasty. Featuring a new twist on "soup and sandwich" the restaurant offers multiple soup choices and sandwich choices. The seating area in both is a touch spartan but the quality food offsets that.

Soups are always soo good and worth the price. The sandwiches can be a little lackluster but over all is worth the price. This location is clean and staff are friendly.

Great soups and wonderful service! The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. It is popular with almost constant traffic around meal times. Plenty of people eating in but also ordering to go and purchasing from the frozen selection to eat at home. I had the chicken noodle soup and blueberry cheesecake, both were excellent and I highly recommend!

Had a broccoli and cheddar soup, and a jalapeno bacon popper sandwich. Both were very good. Service was good. Staff was polite and friendly. Wait times weren't very long either

Surprisingly it was really tasty soup and sandwich experience. I used to bug my spouse about going there for all the time as I don't do trendy things and it was pretty good as I'm not one for bland food. I'll say it's a must try to be honest with you! Two solid thumbs up!

I had the clam chowder and it was really good. But more than the soup, I liked their crackers. For some reason their banner is a stock photo of regular saltine crackers and I went in fully expecting to get some walmart level crackers but boy was I surprised. I would post a picture but I ate them all.

I love this place! You will too for your looking for a good choice of homemade tasting soups and sandwiches. There is a wide variety of choices of soups and sandwiches. Have I mentioned the tasty unique crackers that are made here? Yum! You can't go wrong trying out the food here. I visited the spruceland location, greeted by friendly & welcoming staff.

Really good food, but I’m giving 3 stars because the portions are getting significantly smaller. The crunchy chipotle chicken wrap was a decent size before, enough to fill you up, but now it’s so thin and small that I feel like I should order two, but can’t justify it at that price.

Not bad! Really delicious grilled cheese, and the broccoli soup was lovely. I gave 4 stars because, although what I ordered was amazing, I wish there were more options for vegetarians, a girl can only enjoy so many grilled cheese???? The man who served us was very friendly and seemed genuine. Overall a lovely experience!

Wide variety of incredibly tasty soups and sandwiches. Menu has classic favorites and a daily rotation of delicious creations. Definitely a place to stop if you are hungry as the portions are very generous.

Very expensive for a soup and sandwich. Very overrated. They also have a lack of selection of beverages. Follow up: The owner has replied to me on this. To the owner: Many chain and local companies make their own recipes from scratch and have higher quality food. I do not appreciate passive aggressive messages telling me "sorry to hear you feel we are overrated". As a customer and reviewer I am allowed to have opinions and express my voice based on the same standard I hold every restaurant, accommodation, and entertainment centre, etc. to globally. If you do not like being held to this standard then do not be in the industry.

One of my favourite lunch places. I was worried about how they would do after Covid but they seem to be ramping back up to the wonderful little soup and sandwich place that I have come to love! (Their crunchy chipotle chicken wrap + Broccoli Cheddar soup are my go to!) EDIT: The last 3-4 times I have visited this location my food has been very underwhelming. I probably would have kept coming back still but the last time I was here I recieved the wrong soup and wrap. Then when I decided I didn't have time to go back and went to eat the wrap both ends of the wrap were ripped open so everything fell on the ground. Have been very disappointed lately.

It's just after lunchtime on a weekday, and the line has been out the door all morning. The kitchen is boiling hot, stiflingly humid, full of sandwiches, breads, meats and vegetables. We're sweating through our clothes as we pile sandwiches onto trays for customers to pick up when they get to the counter.

I will only rate on what I ordered. A Hungarian goulash that promised large chunks of beef was served completely meat free and desperately needed the salt and pepper provided on the table. Beef and mushroom melt was equally devoid of flavour. Overall I like the idea of soup and sandwich but a little pricey. Let's just call it strike one and hope next time is better.

The servers have been friendly and helpful everytime I've been in and are very knowledgeable as to the ingredients in the food, which is very appreciated as I am vegetarian. The food is also delicious and I love their housemade crackers.

It's ok. I had the bacon fig sandwich. Kinda thought it was greasy. I didn't care for the bread. Ya...a but disappointed with this place. Not sure what the hype is all about.
