Fantastic place! Perfect for a cold fall day. The soup was very tasty! I had the Italian sausage minestrone and my wife had the peanut coconut. I also had the turkey sandwich with bacon, chipotle, avocado, and instead of tomatoes I substituted pickles. Plus cheese on there.

Incredible sandwiches, soup, salads and desserts. They have some of the best sandwiches I've eaten. It's small but there are a couple of tables. It's a bit expensive but honestly worth it. I will come back every time I am back in Canada. Don't miss out, friendly staff and excellent service

Finally tried this place after many people talked about it... Honestly it was aweful. The moment I walked in, the service was terrible. I was never greeted or even acknowledged. As the lady continued doing whatever she was doing, another person walked in. Once again not even acknowledged. Now there's two people standing awkwardly not having been greeted at all. Then eventually I got served. The food was pretty lame to be honest. The sandwich was made on basic bread and the soup tasted like it was out of a can. Sorry but I won't be back.

A tad over priced but the food is good made with quilty ingredients I found the soup to be a little bland but with the crackers crushed up and put in it was prefect samwitch was also nice but the bacon was a tad under cooked overall I would say check it out

Good sandwich and soup. Have tried several and enjoyed them all, especially the lasagna sandwich with ricotta cheese. Worth the (short) wait. Line ups happen around noon during weekday so arrive early or order in advance by phone.

An amazing local restaurant! I really hope to see this place open more stores across British Columbia as its a great place to have a good, healthy lunch at a reasonable price. Their best items are the wraps and sandwich's by far. They use fresh, mouth watering ingredients in all of their items and its all carefully put together. The customer service is also excellent as well. Best place to grab a quick lunch in town

They have a variety of soup to choose from, so I think there is something for everyone: 4 everyday soups and 4 soup of the day soups. I got a beef soup from the soup of the day menu and it was nice and hearty, just what I would expect from a bowl of soup. Noting especially stood out unfortunately. I would come here again but I'd bring my own saltine crackers. As it's name, I expected salted crackers to be the star of this place. However, they were rather disappointing to me. Unlike the original square saltine crackers, the ones here had a different texture, kinda like tortilla chips, and super salted. It didn't really go well with the soup that I ordered and I think I would much prefer the original premium saltine crackers.

I had the Turkey Bacon sandwich and Clam Chowder soup. The food was amazing and service was good but I felt the prices were a tad high based on what I was getting. Overall a great experience and I did enjoy the food.

Based on reviews was hoping for something amazing but it was just okay. Got the broccoli cheddar soup and the jalapeno popper sandwich. Soup was good, very hot so had to let it cool. Sandwich was tasty but not particularly memorable. Everything is served on disposable dishes even thou you can eat in, creating a lot of unnecessary waste. This has become a big issue for me but if it's not a problem for you then I think you'll be happy here

Everytime I come, it's delicious! Priced for what you get. Quality ingredients and fresh made soups and sandwiches are not cheap to make. If you are looking to save a dollar, go get a sewer sandwich from Subway.

Love this quaint little restaurant. Always have something new to try along with their daily soups like cream of broccoli and chowders you can always count on to be there just in case the specials aren't what you're looking for. The sandwiches and wraps are also amazing if soups just not enough to fill you up the sandwiches will definitely put you over the top. Fresh home-made comfort food just when you need it. Always good

Working in the plaza it's the only half decent place to grab food during breaks. Found soup to be bland but fresh. Sandwiches are pretty okay but a little obsurd on the price front.

Very expensive for a soup and sandwich. Very overrated. They also have a lack of selection of beverages. Follow up: The owner has replied to me on this. To the owner: Many chain and local companies make their own recipes from scratch and have higher quality food. I do not appreciate passive aggressive messages telling me "sorry to hear you feel we are overrated". As a customer and reviewer I am allowed to have opinions and express my voice based on the same standard I hold every restaurant, accommodation, and entertainment centre, etc. to globally. If you do not like being held to this standard then do not be in the industry.

I had the roasted red pepper bisque, and it was sooo very good. I also had a tasty wrap, but their soup is the thing that will bring me back. That and those crackers, nothing like the saltine pictured in their logo, these crackers are thin, crunchy and so yummy.

My daughter was kind enough to pick me up a chicken noodle soup because I am home sick today and bought herself a sandwich. Not to mention that for a simple bowl of soup it was way overpriced at $8.50 but her sandwich was made with mouldy bread that cost $8.75

Last time I was in, the lady was sweeping the floor and had me wait while she finished cleaning before I could order. I personally thought it was so rude! And the chicken wrap was made poorly, too much seasoning salt (I think the cook in the back did that on purpose). I will never give this place business again, they need to learn proper customer service.

If you want some real food, there aren't a lot of places to go downtown. Other places like Margo's claim to be a restaurant, but it's all just assembled, like fast food in disguise. Salted Cracker makes everything themselves, and you can taste it. Try the jalapeno popper sandwich, it's delicious.

Good soups, but need to shorten the menu up, some of their best special soups you only see once a month if even that, because they just have too many recipe's.. example split pea and bacon... excellent soup haven't seen it made in over a month.... winter warm up menu = no beef chili (only seen it one time ever)...
