Newly renovated, nice and clean with polite and helpful staff
Excellent buffet and service!
Decent breakfast place and good location. Nothing fancy but they do have a big brunch buffet on Sundays that is popular. Have not been for other mealtimes.
Fast friendly service. Not great sausages but everything else was. Brunch buffet on a Sunday.
Prime rib buffet was perfect. Went there with my man and our son for a late valentines day dinner and everything was delicious and hot
All 3 burgers were good bit the wifes omelet had egg shells my daughters waffle was rock hard my nieces eggs were over cooked n my other nieces chicken nuggets over cooked also at least the restaurant was clean
A large selection of food with pretty good quality.
Really great prices and great fries!
Not bad family place
Excellent food, excellent service, do yourself a favor and show up Friday night! Prime rib smorgasbord and you can have 5 different salads, chicken, ham, just awesome! Been there for breakfast a couple times, if they don't have it on the menu, ask they will probably make it for you ! Have and will recommend it , waitresses have all been nice , helpful and friendly!
Excellent breakfasts
Good
Amazing experience at the Bon Voyage Restaurant. Their Greek food was awesome with fantastic portion sizes and great flavour. You did not leave hungry at this restaurant. Even my kids plate had a full size like an adult with the kids menu. The server we had was fantastic, haven’t had a server that amazing in a very long time. She was so attentive and constantly kept our drinks filled. Went for my birthday and they gave me a free dessert which was so sweet. Will definitely be coming back here again. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The breakfast all-you-can-eat buffet is to die for!! Also some very friendly staff!
Delicious
I like the food here. The restaurant has very big dining area and amazing deals all day like special lunch price. Before covid they had buffet service as well . Now u can order your favourite greek dishes along with drinks. They also serve coffee and all kinds of teas.
If you are a steak person, you have to try their rib eye steak.
Excellent Buffet
Great food , great staff , great environment I will b back ...
Nice place to eat. I found a hair in my Greek salad. Didn't inform them. It just killed my appetite.
The Sunday Brunch here is quite good and reasonably priced
Great food
Was charged almost double the price that was listed on the menu with no explanation. We ordered takeout because sadly the noodle shop next door was closed. We had two Greek dishes which where not bad but wow that was over priced! (Menu $15 - $16/ Charged $29 and $20) The salad was very slimy like it had been sitting for a day or two and the portions were very small. Only good thing to say is the potatoes had a nice flavor? Even though we only got about two half's of one lol. If it was raised for covid it would have been nice to be informed about it. Will not be eating here again.
Great Food and service with beautiful women who will look after your needs with pleasure.
Still love the environment of this place, the atmosphere a bit loud... $20 for lunch buffet, ordered on the menu a lot better,
I really enjoy the home style meals. Made quick and made right
This was my first time eating here, and it won't be my last. My coworkers always rave about the food here...particularly the Souvlaki. We visited for breakfast on this occasion and I ordered the Breakfast Poutine. It was phenomenal! Its sort of an Eggs Benny meets String Hashbrown Poutine creation. It was a dish I will definitely order again. The service was excellent - friendly and efficient. Definitely a great place to stop in at for delicious food options.
Great service, food and value.
Excellent food great staff
The buffet is delicious and the staff are hard working and friendly.
I think you’ll enjoy this place
large portion meal for the price.
They've got fantastic smorgasbords Friday night is prime rib, Saturday night is a Greek and Sunday is the Brunch anything you want for breakfast ????
Resturant is Greek and dinner theamed. Price was VERY reasonable, and the wait staff were very pleasant. Will be going back again.
Food is amazing and staff are great!! :)
Service with a smile
Good service & friendly people. Great place to check out.
Best restaurant in town! So friendly like the TV show Cheers. They know us there and are genuinely pleases to see us. Couldn't ask for anything more. Oh and insanely good food.
Pauls the best cook ever. And his partner best owners and always take care of there customers the best!! Foods always fresh and hot. Coffee is tasty. I would highly recommend Bon voyage restUrant. Good luck Paul
Ok but not great. Service is not bad .
Always a good place to eat.
Worst restaurant I've ever been to
Alright. Some food is bland
Great for the price. Love that they keep the ac going so when you check into your room ita nice and cool.
Was kinda to cold inside
Great servis, good food! Awesome sunday morning buffe.
I was only here for breakfast but the food is good, with big portions, low prices, and great service.
Not bad but not great for the smorg
Great stop. Waitress was friendly. A little wait for meal but very filling.
Roast beef smorg Fri night was delicious. Tasty variety. Quality desserts. Courteous, pleasant, efficient staff. Looking forward to trying the Greek smorg!
Me and my partner decided to try something new for our anniversary, we showed up at 8:30pm seeing as it said they closed at 10:00pm. We were told by staff that they infact closed at 9:00pm, but still allowed us to dine in. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly throughout our entire stay. For dinner I got veal cutlets with ham and split pea soup, my partner got chicken Slovakia with Cesar salad and potatos. The food was extremely delicious and my partner says the potatoes were the best she has ever had 11/10 would recommend. We will be definitely be going again.
Stopped for Breakfast.. eggs supposed to be basted.. came out almost hard .. I like to dip ny sourdough toast into the yolk .. no soft yoke and sourdough bread was brown bread! My partner had sausage that was cooked so the skin was really crisp. The waitress said sorry she didn’t cook them and would tell the chef.. chef she says .. chef having off day ?? I said i can cook eggs better than that! New owners 4 months now. No offer of discount and we didn’t want to wait any longer for a redo! Old owners always had great food on our stops coming from Alberta ... guess we will have to find A different stopping place!
Bland food, overcooked and main meal was from Luke warm to stone cold...unforgivable for lack of basic seasoning, definatly not worth the price that we paid for a family of four. Wouldn't come back again very unsatisfactory....
Yummy food great service delicious food
Excellent service!
The food was delicious, staff is friendly and courteous, portions were large and well prepared. Served hot and fresh.
Good food and great service
Went for my birthday dinner and the food was amazing! Everyone at our table left full and happy. They even made a "special" burger for my son (plain with just ketchup- not on the menu) the service was great. Definitely going back!
Great food. Great service.
Good food, great service... Wasnt crowded but it's popular, so...
I ordered a steak dinner which was a great price for the size but the salad was full of water at the bottom of the bowl. Then we ordered the potato skins and the potatoes tasted frozen they were so dry we needed to add ketchup. Then when I got my entree, which was awesomely large the first bite of potato was a huge chunk of dirt that litterly grinded my teeth. I wasn't going to try again to eat it but politely ate my steak while waiting for the server to come back. She didn't until it was time to leave, at which time I told her the steak was great but my potato unfortunate. It happens and I understand but when she asked the manager what to do he said give her another potato, on my way out the door. I suggested that we were leaving but if you take the potato skins off the bill (as they were less than desirable) then we'll be good. He then got the brand new server to come out and tell me No, he would give me a potato to go. I politely thanked her for the great steak but having customer service like that from the top (Paul) is unacceptable and I will not return because and only because of the poor attitude of the manager.
Delicious Greek food. Amazing service. Showed up half an hour before kitchen shutdown because their website wasn't updated but they let us in anyways. Dining room is spacious and clean. The chef definitely knows what he's doing and I'll be coming back here for sure!
Good service
Ordered a Sweet & Spicy chicken burger. The tomato they put on it was damn near rotten. The Niger was microwaved for so long before it was put on the gril,l that it was tough and stringy. The bun had so much sauce that the bottom half was soggy. Plus, it was not spicy by any stretch of the imagination. Save your money.
Great food, great service, Tony is an awesome restaurateur!
Delicious experience can I have a 10/10
Great food.
Greek buffet was excellent!
Great family atmosphere, super nice staff, and the food is exactly what you expect it to be. Big portions, homestyle, road food. And the coffee is strong and always full. Definitely worth a stop.
I love the Bon! Paul is fabulous and the Staff is super friendly. Good is always good and the buffet is my favorite
I have written about Bon Voyage before and sadly, they will be moving locations. However, if get here before the end of June 2018, be prepared for some great home cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you really want a treat, come on Sundays for the brunch.
Maybe not their fault, and I will gladly change this review, but their hours on google are not correct. Went there from across town to discover they were closed when they should have been open. Never tried the food. When driving by another time went to Denny’s instead.
Very friendly, Good rates
For those times you feel like having something Greek. Generous portions, friendly service.
My girlfriend won’t read this because she loves Bon Voyage and doesn’t want to read my criticism of it. That’ll mark the high point to start this review. It all goes downhill from here. There were four us meeting here for a supper, a broad range of ordered dishes to order, promising comprehensive coverage. Bon Voyage had been renovated since I had last been here, and following the commandments put forth in the family restaurant bible, the new décor had more shades of brown than the Clairol wall at Sears. In defense, it’s a step up from my previous visit. The Bon Voyage—or is it Westgate Grill & Banquet, because I seriously don’t know—is still a family restaurant no matter how much spackle you throw upon the foundations. It’s still open at 6:00 am. The tables are still crowded by salt and pepper shakers and a wad of crinkled ketchup packets. It still has the same confused and vague stain-proof menu (it might have changed since renovation, but good luck trying to find how). Over two pages, I can choose between stir-fry, Greek or pasta. There is a section titled sandwiches, another hamburgers, yet another for steaks and one more…for beef. Despite all the other sections, there was still enough to add more beef. My entrée came with soup, garlic bread, potatoes, beef, and onions; of course my soup came flanked with plastic-wrapped Premium Plus wafers, that’s just a given, like coming back from Africa with a virus. My entrée looked like someone dropped two fistfuls of ingredients into a hot pan and a mixed it a few minutes. Gigantic chunks of vegetables saddled beside lazily cut onion (a couple pieces were still connected to their roots) and topped with half a cow. My girlfriend’s steak still had a pulse and was flanked with enough mashed potatoes to feed an extended family of Irish immigrants (too soon?). Let’s call it what it is, a mess, something rushed. And let’s be honest, who can blame them? Go back 163 words and read that part on menu selection. How can anyone expect a chef to be prepared to make forty dishes from four different cuisines and have them flawlessly plated in less than thirty minutes? I could turn around and call this praise, a lesser chef would have seasoned the steak with his own frontal lobe. Let me stress again about how big and varied this menu was. I still haven’t mentioned all the sections, there was also seafood, appetizers, house specialties, childrens, and seniors. Hell, it took us ten minutes to even decide what to eat. After all was said and done, I still took half my plate home. A recent conversation about the history of restaurants in Prince George brought up memories of these unchanging artifacts of the city’s past, the Carmel, Camelot Court, Connaught, a time where choice was limited between either these stalwarts or the many Chinese buffets scattered about town like brothels in Ancient Rome. I fondly reminisced of the days of Binos and McCloud 9. But these are memories best left in the past. No matter how well Bon Voyage dresses itself, the menu proves that underneath its new skin, it’s still a dinosaur. I have lamented family restaurants often, and why? Why do I have to? Why do they all have to disappoint? I know they all don’t; I’ve read about better ones…but they’re not here. Here, our family restaurants are depressing relics from a time where this town was defined by a singular industry, and if you didn’t cater to people walking around with a bottle of Jake’s hot sauce in their pocket, you were doomed to fail. A friend offered a metaphor that family restaurants are like Ikea furniture, a nice façade covering cheap wood pulp. I think that comparison is an insult. I’d buy Ikea. Food: 2/5 Service: 3/5 Presentation: 3/5 Value: 3.5/5 Recommendation: 2.8/5 PS: By the way, I’m not a cocktail connoisseur, so I got a kick out of a drink called Holy Water—giving me temporary hope that Bon Voyage was a possible nearby refuge when vampires attack.
Awsumer food (buffet). An awsumer customer service. Sorry i didnt get any pix of food but i got acouple pix.
The smorgasbord is great always great food and service.
Worst service and a dead fly in the meal. I would actually give less rating if I could. We went 2 days ago (Saturday night) to have dinner, total of 5 people, 1 person decided to go for the buffet and the rest of us wanted a la cart. The waitress took the order at 7pm, 4 main courses and 1 appetizer ( chicken wings) after 30min the waitress came with a plate of 4 cold wings from the buffet because our order hasn't arrived yet, 45 minutes later and at 7.45pm we received our meals, yeyy finally. when we asked to refill our ice tea, she took the glass and never came back with a new one, when we asked for sour cream to go with the chicken Oscar we received something else, later while my wife was having her chicken souvlaki she found a dead fly in the meal. The restaurant manager claimed that he has new staff and thats why it took long for the order to be served and ignored completely that fact that there was a dead fly. And then he actually removed the dead fly with his finger and said ' where did this come from'. As a person who spend 13 years in hospitality and food service industry, I would say this was the worst experience I've ever had, not because of what happened but because how the owner/manager dealt with this situation and the excuses he gave was rediculous. I decided not to pay for what I received and wanted to forget about it and not write a complain, however I believe for hygeine purposes and the money you pay to receive a decent service, people should know about our experience.
Best Greek food and service
Great service, buffet was good. Great variety and flavors were all on par. Proce is good as well .
Great service and great food.
Great service but the food has gone downhill, they used to have cocktail shrimp, salmon, meat and cheese trays in their Sunday buffet along with every other great breakfast items and it was worth the 25 bucks to pay. Now it's same price for powdered eggs, greasy sausage, horrible eggs Benedict and jello
Delicious buffet good service!
We ate at the Bon Voyage last night (both ordering souvlaki as they were out of moussaka). The food quality was poor and over priced , with cold potatoes, over-salted rice, bland meat, inconsistent salad and pita looking like it came from a dirty grill.. At the end we had several ounces of oil in a puddle on on our plates. The service/waitress was very good and professional however. Sad that this is one of only Greek restaurants in Prince George and one of the few restaurants in College Heights.
Your average place for lunch... Service was ok.. the company was definitely better than anything else as it was my dad's birthday. I had the steak sandwich which was cooked well... Burgers were had by the rest which were your typical burgers... Gravy was not good .. had to ask for cutlery and ketchup but that's minor.. it's more the attitude of the server that was odd... Just didn't seem like she wanted to be there.. maybe a bad day.. but all in all it was a decent experience and food was ok.. I'd go back if someone asked but I wouldn't choose it as a top choice.
Good food
We have been here several times over the past few years when passing through Prince George. Appears that renovations have been done recently giving it a fresh new look. Service was excellent and meals where good.
Ordered 3 greek platters. Calamari and beef and chicken souvlaki. Substitutions are easy. All meals came quickly and everything was delicious. Service was excellent.
New owners and new menu with daily buffets. Greek food also on the menu with alot of choices.
I like their breakfast buffet and prime rib night buffet. Good friendly service clean place fair prices

Amazing! We visited for my father in laws birthday dinner and the food was fantastic. Best Greek food I've ever had. The waitress (who's name I didn't catch unfortunately!) was also super great. We had a wonderful time and will be back! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
Goodfood
Awesome but no more alien machine
Michele " the waitress " did an awesome job looking after 7 of our family.
Nothing fancy. Good Sunday buffet.
Meals were cold and small portions for what they charge.Live in area won't go back
Good food. Had the breakfast and wasn't disappointed
Food was great and large portions great service
Delicious smorg great selection of deserts
Excellent Greek food
They have overvalued the buffet at $22.95. And they should know it's ok to clean the floor while people eat.
Awful food. We couldn't even eat it. Also the breakfast menu leaves a lot to be desired. The sign outside says new operators in July, hopefully that fixes it. What a disappointment.
Excellent food, would definitely return.
Already did a review . . . Today
Cold vegetables, tough roast beef, very salty gravy
Had breakfast, asked for soft poached eggs on eggs benny's and they were not soft, hashbrowns very crisp. Great service and friendly staff, timely food arrival.
The breakfast was wonderful and very tasty
Had the Sunday buffet, later that evening I was very sick.
Always enjoyed food. The steak sandwich used to be wonderful. For $20 decent size juicy steak. The chicken slovaki awesome. So apparently they are cutting back so steak is so thin can't possibly get medium rare. Only one small skewer for Slovaki.
The food was very good. Andvgge staff were friendly
Love thete sunday buffet
Good food
We were there for New Years Day brunch and we all enjoyed it very much. The service was good and everyone was very friendly. Thank you Bon Voyage.
If you want a reasonably quiet atmosphere and be able to talk without shouting, this is the place. Good food and prices. Easy access, no steps or stairs.
my mom wanted salad and my dad and they got none so i hate that resteront i like the hotel but not were you eat

We have been to the Bon Voyage smorgasbord 2 times in last few weeks it has been good food and the staff are really outstanding and moving to please ,also attending their Mother’s day dinner Tonight the waitresses were handing a rose out to all the ladies ,really was very thoughtful and such a delightful surprise ,the owners and staff seem to really move to keep their customers happy and the food is fresh ,we shall be returning ..

Beef donair was good. The Greek salad is delicious!
The buffet looked great but everything was cold and tough therefore not a great experience.

Service was great
Great service and value as always. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff is always very accommodating if they can be. Feel safe leaving vehicles outside. Nice that they also have pet friendly rooms.
Went for dinner, they had a buffet which I really like because I never know what I want so having so many choices. Will definitely be back.
Great eggs
Great prices, clean. Nice firm beds
Waitress was fantastic... HOWEVER !! the food was hard and chewy. Got yorkies and they were not edible!! Rock hard , and you couldn't cut them with a steak knife. Refused to take them off our bill. I wouldnt recommend!!
Great place to dine in
Great Staff. Great service. Great food.
Best Greek food around and one of my favourite places to eat, anywhere. The food's always amazing, the staffs fantastic and friendly, and the restaurant is comfortable and just has a nice relaxed feel. Everytime I've ever been in I've left full and impressed.
