Average food, outdated decor, slow service, high prices. Pork souvlaki was extremely fatty such that half of it was inedible. No discount when mentioned to server. But family was satisfied with their pizza.

This air conditioned restaurant is clean, has great service, and a large selection of meals and drinks. The portions are large too. I was even impressed with the nonalcoholic drink choices. Will definitely return.

We had a delicious meal on their outdoor patio. My garlic/tomato prawns and my husband's rib platter were wonderful. Our server was very welcoming and the meal arrived quickly. This is a place we will return to when back in Powell River.

Granada restaurant powell River. Yvonne was a great server! Very delicious. Home made tsaziki and hummus set this meal apart. Chicken mezedakia platter #4 and lamb mezedakia were done to perfection: moist, tender and flavorful. Fresh mushrooms not canned sauteed in olive oil. Greek salad is crisp, fresh and chopped fine so we enjoy blended flavours with each bite. And the onions are not overwhelming (white onions) with a delicate homemade dressing.

On the pricier side -- $60 for two platters, no drinks. Sadly no lemon potatoes served with our platters which is usually included in this type of dish. We felt that we received better value for our dollar at other Greek restaurants but understand this is considered "fine dining" in Powell River and prices may reflect its longstanding reputation in the community.

This is a great restaurant to go to if you are looking for below-average flavour with above average prices! Slow service, all servers kept touching and taking off their masks (They were always off while in the bar area), the servers are unable to properly make cocktails so stick to bottled beer. My partner ordered a Greek platter - old rice, runny hummus, flavourless. I made the mistake of ordering ‘lasagna’ and was so impressed with how they were able to extract all flavours from the dish. Garlic bread was just buttered toast. It was the worst meal that I have had in many years and no efforts were made by the staff to acknowledge or fix any of the problems. Their response was along the lines of ‘well this is how we do it so don’t eat if you don’t like it.’ Avoid at all costs!

Amazing Greek food and atmosphere. I've eaten a lot of Greek food, and this is top notch tasty. Owners and staff are super friendly. Right across the street from 2 hotels and around the corner from Townsite Brewing. Great location in historic Townsite of Powell River.

As we looked for a later evening fix on a recent Saturday evening, we realized that there really aren’t that many options available in Powell River. Thankfully though, Granada was one of the restaurants that was in fact we open. We ordered Greek salad, linguine, and pizza, followed up by cheese cake for dessert. Service was extremely friendly, food was really good, and the price was reasonable. If you’re looking for Greek Food in PW, this is the place to go!

They seated us all in one area during covid times. Server was pushy, and the food is sub par and expensive. I ordered swimming scallops with my meal, it tasted awful and stale. The server asked how our meal is, I expressed my disappointed and nothing was done. Better quality food at any Denny's Restaurant. Will never go back.

Poor customer service in dealing with a mistake they made, no compensation was offered nore any apology, just rude employees and a rude manager. I'm not one to do reviews like these but that's how unpleasent the service was at Granada Restaurant. Would not recommend going or ordering from Granada Restaurant.

We dined here last week and we have to say it had to be the worst dinner we ate in Powell River. A Greek restaurant that doesn't serve Greek potatoes and the rice tasted like rice a roni. Garlic bread with no garlic and the linguini alfredo was tasteless and serve with raw mushrooms. The lasagna tasted like it was a frozen dinner also very bland. We waited well over an hour for our food so disappointed.

This was very authentic Greek family restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The place was full with an event and they still had a section opened to the public and the wait was not long. I will definitely return when I’m in the area.

Was a wonderful dinner! We had pizza and it was one of the very best we have ever had! Loads of topping, and lots of flavour the crust was not heavy it was soft on inside and crispy on the outside .Others in our party had the special chicken cordon blue and enjoyed their dinner as well .

I ordered Pizza for pick up, I arrived to pick up, they lost my order. I sat for 30 minutes plus after re-ordering the pizza, also ordered the "special" steak, prawns, fries and Greek salad. Arrived home to find the meal completely mixed together with oil leaking out of the box into the paper bag. No apology or discount offered, We have eaten here before, but thought we would give it a second chance. Disappointed.

I love this place! Everyone is friendly from the cook, to the waitresses, to the owners. Their Greek platters, whether with lamb or chicken, are excellent and their chocolate layer cake is outta this world. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere for all our birthday and holiday celebrations.

The menu has a lot of issues, so read it close. You could end up paying a lot more than you need to. For example, the price difference between a large Hawaiian and a large Hawaiian with feta is $8, when you can just add the feta to the Hawaiian as an extra topping for $4. You save $4. Same with the pepperoni and double pepperoni, and others.

The food was expensive and mediocre at best. If you have any allergies I would avoid eating here as they are unwilling and incapable to accommodate even the most simple changes. The staff complained that the kitchen was very busy when they messed up our order despite only having 2 tables seated in the entire restaurant.
