My experience with Swiss Chalet has been hit or miss many times in my life and I noticed that they've been struggling to settle on a menu. My most recent visit was a very positive experience thanks in no small part to my server. He was extremely personable, attentive, and helpful. He recommended a menu item and I decided to switch from my current choice to pursue it. The stir fry was as good as he suggested it was and I really enjoyed my experience. Wish I had saved room for a sundae

Good food. Was there with my family. Easy to deal with. It's a typical family restaurant and Swiss Chalet. The servers were very helpful with the many requests that come with bringing a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old to a restaurant.

Just ate at the Mount Pearl location, very disappointed in the service. Received our meal, the fries were hot, beyond that the chicken was dried out. No one came to ask how our meal was, no one asked if we wanted dessert, we waited at least 15 minutes after we were done to pay. Normally we don't have any issues but this was really poor service.

The service here is usually pretty quick here and we had no trouble getting a table. As with most Swiss Chalets, the food is pretty dependable too. Our server was kind enough to add a promotion to our order even though we had left the coupon home. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

I love Swiss Chalet. Myself and mom goes every other week. I enjoy the atmosphere along with their famous chicken and ribs. Lately, I liok forwsrd to the roast beef dinner,very tender and moist. I give it 10 out of 10. Customer service is also number 1,friendly, and on top of things. Looks forward to our trip here always.

Busy spot for lunch, so it was about 10 minutes later than expected, but everyone in the office were positive and pleased. Still a favourite spot. The kale salad order, however showed up as a caesar salad, so double checking the order the next time.

Hit or miss ..and tonight's take out was a huge miss. The ribs were dry and brittle, the grave was watered down so much that it ruined the fries and litterally taste like water and last...the rolls were hard enough to knock someone out if we choose to do so...we couldn't eat them so... I was extremely disappointed..if it had been dine in the entire meal would have been sent back. VERY DISAPPOINTED Swiss Chalet Mount Pearl.

What a joke. Ordered food at 12:15, app said 12:30 pickup. Sat at the store from 12:25 to 1:05 before being told "your order won't be ready for another 45 minutes".

Very nice staff. The food was typical but not very hot. My biggest complaint is how dirty the place was. The picture frames in our seating area, for example, were covered in food splatters etc. Walls and chairs filthy. Place needs an overhaul.

Last night I was very disappointed with the service. We were a table of 5. It was very busy, so things such as waiting for a table, waiting for drinks and waiting for food can be excused. However, while we were waiting for our food, no one came to refill our drinks, which could have been done at least once. When our food was brought out we had no cutlery and when the waiter brought it out, we were only given forks. We asked for knives and were told there were none, and they were being washed. We waited almost 5 minutes for knives to be brought to our table. Restaurants should have enough knives for their customers! We all had chicken, and rolls one of us had ribs, and some of us had baked potato. Food should not be brought out unless the utensils are there for me to eat it! 5 minutes is a long time! If fact, the utensils were brought out by one waiter/bus boy and we had to ask our waitress to track down knives. Overall the food was ok; the chicken was a bit on the dry side. What angered me next next was, when our table was finished eating the waitress did not ask if we wanted tea, coffee or dessert. She just simply said she would be over with the bills after she took care of her other two tables. I had the intentions of getting dessert, as did at least one other person at our table, but we were not offered. Yes it was a busy night, but by this point thing were calming down and there was no line of people waiting to be seated. This is not the poor customer service you expect from Swiss Chalet. Some things I could overlook, but as a whole it was a poor experience.

It took more than an hour from seating to final plate placement. Four meals were wrong, one meal was forgotten and our server dropped the tray of drinks on the table to start. For a birthday dinner no one at the table was impressed with the service.

I normally have a good meal and always good service, but the last 3 times I have picked up my online order or ordered through the takeout, I have seen kitchen staff with masks down over their nose, or completely off their face while preparing meals. I understand how difficult it must be to have to wear a mask all shift, but I need to see that my food is being prepared safely, otherwise I have to go somewhere else to eat. Specially with this new omicron variant present

According to other reviews here i guess my experience may have been on an off day perhaps but the food we got here was awful. I had the chicken with shrimp and rice, which tasted like they put it on a plate straight out of the freezer and microwaved it. The shrimp was waterey and flavorless, and the chicken tasted old. My grandmother had a wrap with fries and hers was really dry. The one saving grace was that the staff was Friendly. Probably wont be going back.

Best Customer service I've had in my life! The menu has recently been changed to include Kale as the main lettuce that they use, if you're not a fan of kale you can substitute it but they don't make it very clear on the menu.
