Lunch was good over all but the burger was nothing exceptional. Serving of fries was tiny given the cost - potatoes are cheap, portion sizes impress - why some restaurants seem to cheap out on fries (of all things) has always been an enigma to me.

I had to get my car fixed. I was hungry and had time to kill so I found this family own restaurant nearby. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, poutine, coleslaw and coke. It was delicious, fair prices, the lady serving me was polite and courteous. Will come back next time.

Sadly, I am not impressed with the restaurant since new owners took over. The food quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Tried it 3 times since new owners ,waiting for it to get better but it hasn’t. My go-to meal was the chicken Caesar salad which was always good. They had no grilled chicken so was offered crispy chicken instead which was fine but the chicken was overcooked to the point it was dried out and hard. They have also changed the dressing from a good Renee’s dressing to a knock off likely cheaper dressing. As with all owner changes there will be changes for sure, we expect that and I wish them the best of luck but I won’t be returning.

Fresh home cooked food! Quiche had flaky wonderful crust and the filling was perfectly cooked and full of fresh veggies. Sandwiches were crispy toasted and very filled. Dessert sold out before we finished! Must try.
