Bocado offers the kind of experience you dream about for days after dining there. Each experience I’ve had has been equally as exceptional - food, drinks, atmosphere, service. Their team operates at the highest level and offers the best dining experience in the County now — arguably competing for a top spot in Canada’s best new restaurant. Don’t miss the ibérico, pan con anchovie, jamón croquettes, costillas or tuna ceviche. The Spanish fizz and Bocado martini are also personal favourites.

One of the best meals I've had In a long time. Very unique dishes all very well thought out. Definitely recommend the octopus and cauliflower from the tapas menu. The Paella is also amazing!! Service was very courteous and friendly, go check it out!!!

Stunning meal and service. Reservation booking seemless. Loved all dishes, especially the Squash Flower, Iberico (I haven't eaten pork in 9 years and made an exception for this), Cheese, Patatas Bravas. Kathleen and staff knocked it out of the park for service. Cocktail was perfect, and wine was out of this world. The atmosphere is confortable. To say that I am in love, is an understatement. I cannot wait to return. Share everything. Order everything. They opened during a pandemic and have accomplished excellence. All of the best to this restaurant.

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT IN PICTON. Four of us enjoyed one of the best (maybe even best) dinners in the County at Bocado. First great impression was the relaxed atmosphere. All dishes - and we tried many of them for sharing - tasted very good. We loved the different spices and freshness of the dishes. We enjoyed two bottles of a Spanish white wine. The dessert was the icing on the cake. As an espresso nerd myself. Their espresso was outstanding. Minor critics: The table-water seemed tab-water with a hint of chlorine. And at the end we felt a bit rushed since they wanted the table for other guests. - Regardless, we will be back.

My wife and I had dinner here on our last night visiting Prince Edward County. The food and service here was impeccable. We had the anchovy toast, dates, zucchini flowers, tuna carpaccio, seafood paella, and the florones--loved every single dish from start to finish. A must try if you are visiting PEC, a real highlight of our trip!

Ahh, where to begin… the location, the ambience, the authenticity, the hospitality, the food and drinks ALL ABSOLUTELY SUBLIME On a weekend getaway to the county we stumbled upon Bocado for a night cap, even though the kitchen was officially closed for the night the staff was exceptionally accommodating. We enjoyed cocktails, a teasingly small bite of the freshly cut jamon iberico and fantastic conversations with staff. We were seriously impressed. So much so, the very next day we waited in line 15min before opening to secure a seat at the bar for dinner. We ate our way through the tapas menu while sipping sensational cocktails. Our favorite tapas were the tuna and, of course, the jamon iberico. Our only regret is that we couldn’t try all the items on the menu. We cannot wait to be back at Bocado! ps: our visit was almost two months ago and we are still drooling over how great it was hence this review

We ate at this wonderful new resto and loved it! Sat on their small street patio and ate tapas (about 6 dishes for 2). Everything was delicious!! My fave was the zucchini blossoms and my husband's was the ribs. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. We will go back as soon as we can!

Outstanding trendy restaurant in the heart of Picton! Every tapa that was brought to the table was beyond exceptional! You can’t go wrong with ordering anything off their menu. Their drinks were super tasty as well. We ended the evening with all of us sharing the churro dessert, which was actually huge! All I can say is “YUM!” Will want to try the paella next time...believe you me, there will be a next time! Also, the service was fabulous! Shout out to Melanie our server for being super friendly and offering her recommendations! You guys ROCK!

Food was average, service was terrible. Something wasn’t working when we had dinner there on Friday night. Food arrived in a very haphazard manner, out of sequence and very slow. We ordered desert but cancelled after waiting for twenty minutes or so for their daily special and a serving of ice cream. It may well be they were short staffed as they ramped up capacity but that’s not my problem. The kitchen must have been a mess for them to provide such poor service.

Highly highly recommend. Went in there second day open and tasted a variety of dishes. The zucchini blossoms were a standout! The Octopus was great, too and was lucky enough to taste a couple slices of Iberico Ham. Staff was also super friendly, particularly the bartender who mixed us some excellent cocktails and gave us sangria samples. Truly a wonderful culinary experience! Go check it out!

Bocado was so DELISH we had to book again! Each tapas was a dish to savour and the churro for dessert - the cherry on the cake! It was all SO DAMN YUM! We had an amazing meal at Bocado, made all the more so by Francis, who ably advised us on the food, drinks, and wines that best complimented one another. We had the Ibérico chorizo and Atún tapas to start, shared a Paella de Vieira for the main and split a Pan Y Chocolate for dessert. It was all perfectly prepared and delicious. Will definitely return!

I know this place is very popular, but I was not impressed to see their lack of understanding of covid rules, and the handling of meat and other food with bare hands, no gloves, by the prep person at the bar. There was also a problem with some of my food which should not happen in a good restaurant.

Just had dinner at Bocado for the first time tonight. OMG, best tapas meal we have had since being in Portugal! I don’t think you would go wrong ordering anything off the menu here, the food is amazing. More importantly, the staff and service are excellent, very knowledgeable about all their food and drinks and timing of presentation is impeccable! We dined at Bocado just over a week after it opened, and were so impressed by the service and food. The space is chic and beautiful, and the service was impeccable (friendly and fast). The food was fantastic - it tasted just like you're in Madrid. Our favourites were the pan con tomate, jamon croquettes, blistered peppers, and the manchego and fresh grilled bread. The cocktails were also amazing! Highly recommend for a great dinner or cocktail outing in the County.

5/5 doesn't give enough credit to this restaurant or the staff. I want to give like 25/10. I had to plan a rather large dinner for my family gathering, and I can't begin to fully capture the amazing experience I had from start to finish with this fantastic group! They were able to accommodate our multiple dietary restrictions, gave great descriptions of the plates (and answered all sorts of questions), and made the entire family say "All I wanted was more of that lamb!". There are plenty of good places to dine in the county, but this is definitely in the top 3. All of us had a wonderful experience (which isn't always easy with 15 individuals), and everyone can't wait to come back, again and again! Directly to the staff: thank you for your kind, warm welcome and giving us a fabulous evening!!!

20th anniversary weekend in PEC. Took a chance that Bocado might have some room for dinner and fortunately for us, they had just had a cancellation. Our server Melanie was absolutely exceptional.( Thank you! ) She thoroughly explained everything and even made a few selections for us. As well the other servers were just as attentive.
