Had the honor of attending a very special wedding at 100 Acre Wood in 2017, and I think back to it often. Mary and Kevin have built a literal dream on a very special piece of land in Prince Edward County. They pour their hearts & souls into their vision, and it absolutely comes across to guests. To sweeten the deal, they serve the best food you will ever have at a wedding (or anywhere really). Cannot recommend this venue enough. It's a magical place <3

If you want to get married in PEC - this is THE ONLY spot to consider! Honestly. There are many beautiful locations in the County and other wedding venue options but I promise you, the 100 Acre Wood will EXCEED all of your expectations. You want Mary and Kevin on your wedding-planning team! Mary is your built-in, magical wedding planner and Kevin is your rock-star chef! Their expertise, work ethic and the overall standard they set is very hard to match. The thing I loved the most about this venue was that everything was in one spot - the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dance. Our wedding felt like a fancy (but laid-back) back-yard party and I loved it! Planning with Mary was a dream! She has thought of everything and the whole day went incredibly smooth. My top wedding highlights would be: the ceremony set-up with the old church pews overlooking their acreage, the twinkle lights in the tent and the barn, the restored barn and exposed wood, all of the natural greenery (which also means that ALL of our wedding photos turned out amazing), the bonfire at night, THE FOOD, the on-site and outdoor kitchen, and not having to set-up or tear down before or after the wedding. Thank you Mary, Kevin and the 100 Acre Wood team for making our day so special. We love you guys!

This is one of the most gorgeous event venues I have ever laid my eyes upon. From the moment you walk into 100 Acre Wood it feels like a dream. Mary and Kevin are exceptional hosts, having thought of every detail. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are stunning, and then blend seamlessly as you travel throughout the property...just wait until you find the secret row of hammocks! Their staff are always lovely, Kevin's cooking is insanely delicious, and Mary is one of the most kind and creative people I've ever met. Anyone would be lucky to to have their wedding or party here....just please invite me!

Their thoughtful approach and keen sense of beauty and sophistication combined with just the right amount of County charm resonates in every detail throughout their property and at every event they host. In two words, our wedding was effortless and stunning. Mary helped guide our planning and day with the lightest of touches and everything we dreamed up came to life - but better then we had imagined. Kevin also created one of the most unique menus we had ever seen. Featuring local produce and seasonal flavours, we were treated to a middle-eastern inspired fall menu which surprised our guests in the most impressive way. Mary and Kevin also hold deep connections with the local community and endeavor to buy local wherever possible. We appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of local bakers, producers, and had the most fun exploring the local wine and beer industry to create our bar. When everything came together, it truly felt like we were part of The County family. For whatever celebration you have planned, consider 100 Acre Wood - you'll have the most magical time!

My husband and I got married at 100 Acre Wood in October 2019 and have only the most amazing things to say about the venue and our experience with Mary and Kevin. From the first moment we visited in a cold icy January, we knew something about the place felt like “home”. There is a magical atmosphere with the endless fields as your backdrop, and a kind, relaxed, and no-pressure attitude from the hosts. If you are looking for a combination of modern clean style and county charm, this is the perfect spot. Plus, it seems to keep getting better every year - Mary and Kevin have a touch for adding small meaningful details (can we get married again?!). Mary is super responsive and helpful, but also does a good job of encouraging you to relax and trust that everything will work out. The food is delicious and unique, as others have said. Something about the family style dinner and the setting makes for an intimate feeling wedding, even at 150 guests. And overall, the hosts are just good people - I’ll always remember them loading up their truck to help us return leftover alcohol to the LCBO the morning after our wedding. Our pictures are beautiful and I get a warm fuzzy feeling thinking back on this day. All the best to you Mary and Kevin!! Xo

Apart from their incredible food and seamless curation, what sets them apart is how well they listen, making each wedding reflect the specific couple in beautiful ways. You can also be sure when you choose them that they are treating their 90% female staff incredibly well, and sourcing as much of their ingredients and products as possible locally and sustainably. I couldn't recommend this venue more highly!

This venue checks all the boxes! We were married at 100 Acre Wood in September 2019 just as the leaves were changing colour, the fields were golden and the air was so fresh. Kevin and Mary have really thought of everything. They pay attention to every detail and are so graciously accommodating. The grounds are beautiful, well organized and make you feel like you are in your own little world. Mary & Kevin are fantastic as well - both professional and REAL. They are both very easy to talk to & extremely accommodating.. what is even better is that they truly have passion for their space. This is reflected by their subtle but beautifully executed updates & additions that happen in their down time. They are consistently looking for ways to improve their space to give their couples a dream wedding space. I love this venue and I LOVE the owners.

We really cannot speak highly enough about Mary, Kevin and the entire 100 Acre Wood team who made us feel so welcome and loved throughout our experience. We knew we wanted our wedding day to be a little less traditional and only include aspects of tradition that we could truly stand behind. Mary and Kevin's philosophy on weddings really resonated with us and we knew almost immediately that their beautiful venue was perfect for us, so sight unseen - we booked it. Mary gracefully led us through the planning process, with friendly check-ins to make sure we were on track and had everything we needed in order to make our day the best it could be. The best part, in our eyes, was that the weekend was so organized yet relaxed and how Mary made sure that everything happened when and where it needed to so we didn't have to worry about any of the hassles of the weekend. It allowed us to take the time to slow down and focus on enjoying our time together and with our guests, which we were so grateful for. Our friends and family all felt so well taken care of, and although we were a a group filled with allergies and dietary restrictions, everyone had full bellies and hearts by the end of the night. We really could not have asked for a better day, better food, or better hospitality from all the amazing folks at 100 Acre Wood. Our only complaint is that we can't do it all over again next year because it was so much fun!

Mary and her team at 100 Acre Wood ensured a perfect day for our wedding. Right from the initial stages, working with Mary was seamless. She was thoughtful about incorporating details that were important to us and did so in a natural way that fit within the venue. On the day of, she ensured everything was set up and ready for our arrival. The food was absolutely incredible! Kevin and the rest of the team offered the perfect meal, which included tender beef ribs and late night roadside burgers. My husband and I were one of the many couples that had to postpone due to COVID. Mary and Kevin were so flexible and easy to work with. We had no issues with changing the date, and when the wedding day arrived everything was perfect. Mary was so helpful ensuring all decor was the way we wanted it, the music, the drinks/cocktails, and Kevin did an incredible job with the menu. To this day, we still have family members and friends telling us how incredible the food was. It was fresh, creative and very delicious! The space is stunning, and the recent upgrades the barn and tent were so well done. It’s such a magical space! I would highly recommend 100 Acre Wood!

The owners, Mary + Kevin, pour their heart and soul into this place and into each and every wedding here, and you can feel it. Mary was there for me whenever I needed her throughout the entire process—she helped me decorate, she made sure all of the music was queued up just right, she was just a great, calming, presence to have around and made sure everything ran smoothly. Kevin + the kitchen staff created a wedding menu to END ALL wedding menus. Seriously, my friends still talk about how amazing our wedding food was. And there was A LOT of it! If you’re looking for a gorgeous wedding venue that does it all, then do yourself a favour and book at 100 Acre Wood. I can promise you it will be one of the best decisions of your life! The reason to book this place is that you have some of the top and most amazing chefs and bakers you've ever met as your hosts. It's the best of everything.
