Want a great Breakfast? Go to Hendows Fine Food. Warren is great, it was a very tasty home cooked meal. At Hendows Fine Food all the meals are home cooked. I would recommend everyone to go there.

Hendows Fine Food offers up the best burgers in town! The "Double Stack" gives your palate a deluge of flavours. I really like the pulled pork. After tasting the cabbage rolls you will want to put in a special order for your next party. Highly recommended!

This is by far the worst place in town I dont have alot of money and have fed an entire family of 5 for $30 this will not satisfy anyone especially not for the price, it wont allow me to add a photo either!!! but this is absolutely pathetic!! by far just an embarrassment to any establishment that would let this poor excuse of a meal leave there doors to feed someone I feed my god damn dog better then this

I've been here a couple of times. I want to clarify that the atmosphere is more of a casual dining experience than the "fine dining" that is its label. That said, the food is incredible. I've done breakfast and lunch, both fantastic and very reasonably priced. I live 30 minutes away and happily make the trip to eat here. I encourage you to do the same!

Stopped in today for some take-out beef brisket. I have to say that the meat was FANTASTIC. Warren also gave us some of his homemade BBQ sauce to go with it. The brisket was so tender and tasty. I would recommend it highly. Thank you, Warren and Hendows Fine Food!

Ive had two meals here,ham and roast beef the ham dinner was a catered easter dinner. When my staff told me we would be getting ham dinners from here, i thought yay another meal im going to hate( not a fan of meat in general) it came in . One of those white flimsy take out containers. Which i was a bit upset at first, thinking of the environment. But i got one whiff of it and i was quite happy that it was in such an easy container to n get intO. i dont know what He does to the meat, whatever it is. makes the meat out of. This. World but it wasnt just the meat the gravy was so good i was scrapIng eEvery drop i cOuld. Its like nothing youve tasted before. The veggies were as good. same for the potatoes. ive Never had Meat that I was willing to tear through the package For. ..... the same happened with the roast beef Dinner i. Was so. Full by the amount i got too. perfect all around. better than perfect. .. cant think of whats better than perfect. ...sorry You have to try it for yourself ! im going back again and again.you should too.

What a pleasant surprise! A small, family run restaurant with incredibly delicious home-cooked food. Warren's ribs are to die for whether they are sweet, spicy or stuffed. I'm a rib gal and these are the best ribs in the city! Chicken, turkey, roast and ribs are slow-cooked on the smoker until they reach a mouth-watering, smoky tenderness. Breakfasts consist of hearty comfort-food! You won't leave hungry. We've eaten at Hendows Fine Food several times and, with our busy lives we tend to order a lot of take-out. My husband picks everything up and we enjoy a home-cooked meal out on the patio! Prices are very fair!

My family and I eat here on a regular basis. The food is excellent and the prices are very good. It is clear that Warren and his staff take great pride in the restaurant. It is clean and welcoming. I've also had the privilege of eating a few catered dinners by Hendows Fine Food at various events. All very well prepared and delicious. I would recommend Hendows anytime.

Went there for breakfast with a friend this morning. When this review was written it was in stage 2 of the coid19 pandemic. So it was patio only, which was great! The owner served us. He was super down to earth, told us about their great specials they have and practiced social distancing very well while serving us. We both had the eggs Benedicts. Sooooooo good. I rate breakfast places mostly by their holindaise sauce lol. Theirs was top notch so five stars. Support this local restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

You have to come here and enjoy the best comfort food in all of Peterborough! Love a great all day breakfast? This is the place to go! Fitness is important and watching what you eat? Keto is on the menu! Bring the kids for only $6.50. Now how can you top that?! How about with some bottomless, flavourful, freshly brewed coffee and home made dessert!
