I had the bulgogi bowl to go for lunch, and a chocolate brownie. The bulgogi was delicious and just the right size for a satisfying lunch that won't put you into a coma an hour later. The brownie I have to single out because this thing was on a whole other level: moist, rich, stupendously indulgent chocolatey goodness. I ended up taking a brownie home to Nova Scotia so my wife could try it. I will definitely be back here when I'm in Perth.

You should definitely stop by this place when visiting Perth - the BLT sandwich and the sushi bowl are amazing. If you want a snack, their chocolate chip cookies are probably the best I've ever had, they add some kosher salt, making it a classic.

Honestly, best lunch I've had in ages. I had the Golden Curry bowl and OMG. Just an unreal combination of flavours and texture. So smartly combined and you eat and feel fantastic after. Had to try the apple and peach turnover and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back!

My aunt and I went here for a quiet lunch and it was amazing. Really nice menu, the food was to die for (we snuck dessert too....sooo yummy!) and the service was super friendly. The food was incredibly fresh...some of it was literally picked from the farm next door! I'm not from Perth but when I'm in the area, I will go out of my way to go there! They have seating inside and outside and were following all of the covid guidelines. Also, very clean!

The breakfast sandwiches here taste like nothing else on this earth. I firmly believe they are vestiges of another, better world, one that we sinners will never have the privilege to know- save, perhaps, through this utopian dish. This sandwich is a reminder of the true meaning of breakfast. It BREAKS your FAST. Eat of this and realize you have never eaten before, and in fact have hungered all your life until this moment.

Love this place!!! A table for the kiddos and hot coffee and great food for mom. I had the sushi bowl today and it was AMAZING!! Such fresh flavours and textures. Highly recommended and it is close to one of Perth's best parks (splash pad, climbers, skate park, change rooms and tennis courts!)

Picnic Cafe & Catering is amazing! Every time my partner and I visit Perth, we always stop in to get a meal and a snack. Our favourites are the Brownie, Smoothies, Chicken Satay Bowl, Korean Beef Bulgogi, Power Bowl (the hummus and avocado are so fresh and delicious!) Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies and their Egg Sandwiches (on a house made buttermilk biscuit)! Honestly, every thing we have bought we have LOVED!! We felt extremely comfortable ordering through their take out window during COVID-19 (very limited exposure - with hand sanitizer and spray to wipe down all the tables for the patio). We will ALWAYS be back to visit!!

The staff were very friendly & helpful. I decided to try a Hello Dolly Square & a Rooibos Latte... my first time having either of these & they were tasty. They definitely satisfied my afternoon sweet tooth! I had to ask for a fork to eat my square; it was too gooey (in my opinion) to eat it with my fingers.

Food and coffees were great! However, my partner and I were made quite uncomfortable as 4/5 staff members were not wearing masks in the open kitchen, which is just a few meters from the counter. Not a great feeling when they are the ones preparing your food. Part 2: (since I cannot reply to your response) Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the plexiglass-separated seating, but that is not where my discomfort stemmed from. In a close proximity in kitchen where physical distancing is not always possible, safety standards should be upheld, both for the well-being of your staff and customers. This review was made because I did not feel comfortable approaching your unmasked staff. I am aware that take-out exists, but when the people handling my food are not always wearing the proper protective equipment, contamination is a concern. I also do not appreciate you downplaying your staff’s behaviour by implying I should be comfortable with sub-optimal safety measures in order to dine-in. All the best.

Picnic is the best café in Perth! Jordan and her team always have fresh baked goods, warm soup, and delicious sandwiches. I cant not mention my absolute favorite in her line up of lunch bowls...the sushi bowl! Always hits the spot and kills my sushi craving. Our favorites are the egg salad sandwich, the sushi bowl, the breakfast cookies, and the gluten free brownies. We also love the frozen soup section to stock up our freezer. Jordan and her team put care into making these fresh meals and treats for the community, and it shows! :)

In a word, excellent! I have come here numerous times and have enjoyed it every time. Great coffee, unique and tasty dishes (the curry bowl is my go to), and an assortment of delicious baked goods to satisfy your sweet tooth. The staff is wonderful! I highly recommend a visit. The only thing, this is not a big place, so off peak may be advisable.

Delicious food and even better service! I got the Mez bowl (vegan style), and it was amazing! Very filling and tasty! After purchasing the meal to go, I has accidentally dropped it in my car (food wasn’t salvageable). I called Picnic cafe again and placed a re-order. They made it immediately and also gave me a discount, even though it was my mistake. Great customer service. Thank you!
