After 18 months of the government forcing them to close and restrict them so heavily they were barely surving... this restaurant has decided to ban the unvaccinated from dining in. They are however, still trying to get the unvaccinated to order takeout. So essentially they're saying 'you're no longer welcome in our restaurant, but we'll happily still take your money'. There are plenty of other local restaurants that are far more deserving of business... that don't medically discrimate. Ate here once and food was nothing special. Basic menu.

My friend and I went here for a late breakfast and it was amazing. She has an egg allergy and I have a wheat allergy and the staff was more then accommodating! I had a bacon cheeseburger (no bun) and she got a breakfast plate with no eggs. We both left with no allergic reactions from cross contamination. That is unheard of in a small town breakfast joint! Loved it so much. Honestly the best burger I ever had!

Used to be great but we've been dissapointed enough the last few times we went that we won't be back. Staff are nice but food is fair to poor, last time we went my partner's meat was so tough it was inedible. They were apologetic and quickly replaced it with something else but still! Too hit and miss for me.

I came here during Thanksgiving with my folks for a family lunch. Ambience and staff were friendly. Food however as a bit of a disappointment. There weren't many choices, and the one I chose (beef liver & onions) was bit too salty and greasy.

My wife and I had heard about Peter's Family Fare Restaurant from friends in Brockville, so we decided to head up on Sunday morning for breakfast! Okay, it's been a long time since I've seen BIG, juicy tasty sausages like this! I mean BIG! Eggs were cooked to my liking, over easy and my wife had hers sunny-side up. Hash browns and tasty strips of bacon! Service was prompt in spite of how busy the restaurant was. I guess the local townsfolk know how good Peter's in Perth is too. Reasonably priced too! The only thing keeping me from giving my rating 5 stars is that the table-to-belly placement is too close. We were in a 2 seater booth. I noticed that the 4 seaters were a bit wider. But the restaurant was busy and there's no way I'd put out a family of 4 for the sake of "ma big belly"! We'll be back to Peter's and do some more exploring of the lovely town of Perth, Ontario.

Food was pretty great for the price. The atmosphere was nice, I liked how they only have booths that fit 2 to 4 people. Peter's is supposedly famous for their pies, but sadly I wasn't able to get one. I got the reuben on rye from the sandwich menu with soup, which was cream of mushroom that day. Sandwich was very good, and with the soup the portion was perfect.

My family was traveling through Perth and has the opportunity to visit this restaurant for a nice breakfast. The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing. Fast service and big portions. We definitely left satisfied. Next time we go back to Perth we will have to sit down here again for breakfast.

Decent but not the best general impression of the place. We went in on a Sunday towards the end of their day, and the place was half full, still it took at least 15mins to receive a baby booster seat, promised to us when we got seated. Also, it took a VERY long time to get a glass of water and the menus. On the menu was specified: breakfast all day on Sundays, yet when we tried to order, we were told they actually don’t serve breakfast anymore: the menu was just old and not up to date. (But why were we not told from the beginning, when we received the menus?!) On top of it, they were not serving also other items from the dinner menu: frustrating! The food arrived pretty fast, but the fries though hot, did not tasted the freshest. Didn’t leave the place hungry, but a little disappointed.

Fast, friendly and delicious. The breakfast is awesome, especially the sausages they’re a meal in themselves, unlike most places these days. The servers are all passionate about their work and it makes it that much more special when eating out a no frills meal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as visitors we’ve had it all with satisfaction. The fifth star is missing because the seating is a little crammed, however they do accommodate you at the largest booth when they can! The chocolate milk and juice portions are fair as well unlike other places that serve these tiny glasses that are good for a few sips.

Went here today for a quick bite for lunch. The staff was fabulous. They let us bring our dog onto their patio and even brought him a dish for water. Our server was kind and attentive and did a fantastic job. The food was really good too. We will definitely be back next time we're in Perth and will recommend to friends.

You really have to give this a place a try.... old dinner feel and good big portions.... freshly made to order food.. and oh my the fish and chip was good... their pulled pork poutine was amazing and the hot shaved beef wow old school mash and they even cut the crust off the bread never seen that before. This place never ceases to amaze me. I come for breakfast every few weeks and always leave happy. Location is a bit tight but it makes the resturant what it is and I wouldnt change thing. If you get a chance to come in the summer step outside and grab an icecream to walk through the park!

*Update* After the last owners were gone (the place was awful) Returned a year later for a family gathering, the old dysfunctional staff are gone and there's a new cook. Went a few other times after that, and wait times are much faster and checkups are actually a thing. Vast improvement in the quality of the food as well. Much friendlier service which makes all the difference. Moved from a 1 star rating to a four, now a five; Great work !!

Horrible, friend had a hair in his food, other friend said the salad was pathetic (it's just lettuce and chicken), my burger was alright but the upgrade to "sweet potato fries" was actually little deep fried balls of mushy sweet potatoes they charge over $3 for and told me it's a premium upgrade with coleslaw (which i didn't get, nor want) and they claim there's nothing they can do about the price... Worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time and none of us will be returning. Be warned.

The wait staff is slow, the atmosphere is awkward (if you're a younger person you'll be out numbered by geriatrics, it's a retirement town) where the regulars are treated better and quicker than the non regulars; and finally the food is digusting. Bland, tasteless, either over cooked or under cooked. If you love diners do not go here, you'll be disappointed. Their ice cream window is amazingly awesome though, they're the only place in town that does scoop ice cream on cones. It also is great for take away orders. The window employees are always nice, polite and quick. They're also the younger staff, primarily.

Every time I am at perth I try to make a pit stop at Peter's. My wife and I both love the place. The ambience is cozy, the food is great and the service is top-class. I particularly liked it the last time I visited there (in March, during lockdown). Dine in was closed, so we opted for pickup. To our utter delight we also got a side of onion rings on the house. The waitress was very cordial and jolly. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Zero covid screening done when Perth is in RED zone. Tables being used not complying to 6 feet rule. The booth beside us was not marked off limits. only 4 people were in so we stayed.. I Ordered smoked meat. It had only two slices of meat!! Poutine was ok but the sandwich was pathetic. I wont be back during my next visit to Perth. I do not recommend.

My eggs Benedict was almost cold, and my companion’s gluten-free grilled cheese was hardly toasted, with the cheese not melted at all. Really good food and service. The seats could be softer but they where still comfy. The whole area had a nice feel to it. Loved the place.
