Amazing brunch and coffee! Great service. Super organized with Covid procedures and ensured everything was safe and that social distancing was in effect. Line looks long but it moved very quickly and they were really good and communicating how long your wait would be.Highly recommend and we will be back!!!

Food/coffee is great. The turnaround from ordering to food/drink delivery is great. The -2 stars are for the order experience. You wait outside, then you wait inside, then order/pay and either leave with your food or its brought to your table. Dine in should leave their name/number and let those take out grab and go. (I'm not pitching an option, but I hope they can improve this). Food is aweeeessoooome.

The Staff was friendly and did a decent job out front. The waffles were undercooked and came with mostly melon as the side of fruit. Seemed like a clear miss to me as you could have had berries or a mixture that could have gone on top. The way it is written on the menu it seems like you can put the fruit on top of the waffles but it turned out as a mushy mess with only trying to add just some of the blue berries. It was a good thing my girlfriend gave me some of her meal or else I would have had a really bad morning. She had the Bench breakfast plate which had great smoked salmon and bacon but was way smaller than anticipated but both meals were smaller than anticipated. Cinnamon butter would have been great if it didn't make the undercooked waffles even more mushy. I want to blame the shortcomings on the fact that we're coming out of a pandemic and it was busy and lots of places are understaffed but I don't think that was the case here. If the owner or someone who works there reads this add some banana or berries or something to the waffles so it's more filling and at least then if the waffles aren't as crispy as they should be you might leave full with just your plate. The coffee was good and a good size! The waffle recipe was tasty as was the cinnamon butter!

Just moved to Penticton and have always wanted to go here. Fantastic food. Owner is super nice and keeps the flow moving. Water could have been a bit colder but it was nearly 40 degrees!!

This place was absolutely delightful. Full of local, sauces and jams. The bench burrito was delicious. The portion size was good and the flavor was amazing. The coffee was even better. Service couldn't of been better, the guy with the assistant manager tag on was professional, efficient and exhumed positive vibes! Great work bench market!

Fantastic brunch experience! The staff are a well oiled machine and are able to keep things moving even on a busy stat holiday Monday. The smoked salmon benny and Americano were delicious too. Definitely opt for the cute patio if you get the chance - great dog watching opportunity and catches lots of sun.

We are big breakfast people, after research and reading all this overrated reviews we decided to drive all the way down. I m sorry but we left that place very disappointed. Please take a look at my breakfast picture ughhhh it wasn’t worth it at all. The owner was very clearly pressuring us to hurry, pointing at our table and telling to people our table will be free any minute. Excuse me I just paid $50 for my breakfast so pls let me enjoy at less my overpriced cappuccino. Not recommend

This place is a next level clown show where you have to wait for a traffic light to signal that it's OK to enter, and then proceed through a rat maze of plexiglass because you know, you'd most assuredly perish without first rate "protections" like these in place to keep you safe. Thank goodness for the infinite medical wisdom of Dr... Cafe Owner? The Idiocracy has arrived. Oh, and this restaurant will probably be first in line to deny entry to customers who don't wish to permit the govt to turn their bodies in to spike protein factories. Boycott them if you care about civilization.

"A must visit if you're in Okanagan valley" is an understatement. The food is so good it throws you back to those early taste experiences of your favourite dishes. Make sure you go there, you can't go wrong with what you order.

Stopped here for brunch before hitting the naramata bench. The food was delicious, and they were very thoughtful with their COVID precautions making the experience comfortable, yet very safe. 10-15 minute walk from the riverfront park at the bottom of the hill, nice walk when the weather is nice. One of my companions and I stopped into this restaurant after jogging on the riverfront, what a pleasant surprise. We both had the eggs benedict with a side of hash Browns - cooked perfectly!!! Eggs were done absolutely perfect, hash Browns were perfect golden brown with just the right crispness. Sauce was rich and creamy. Atmosphere is relaxed and warm. Staff are super friendly and helpful, restaurant itself is very clean and easy to get around. Outside seating too!!! Nice hip crowd. Really enjoyed the brunch and the atmosphere.

Quick lunch stop. Ordered a Panini which was delicious. The service was a bit on the slow side but was well worth the wait. The prices are a bit on the high side, but they do use quality ingredients and the portions are decent. Nice selection of local market fare on sale as well. This was my second time here and I will return.

Food was amazing! The Capitola Benny is the perfect combination of flavors and little heat. Usually the hollandaise sauce makes the benny but here - the ham made the flavors come together with the texture of bread, poached egg and smoothe hollandaise sauce. The staff and creator were extremely friendly. Personable and so welcoming. To top it off - they're patio is dog friendly (with respectful rules of course!).

This place is a hidden gem. We stopped by the Bench Market three days in a row during our stay in Penticton, and each time left yearning to go back. The chef/owner’s hands on approach when dealing with customers, coupled with locally sourced ingredients and artisan preparation has made this place a local favourite. I strongly recommend avoiding the big chains, and stopping by here instead for breakfast or lunch,as I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Cheerful, organized staff. Great food. Clean. Right from the get-go the boss was friendly and interacted with guests, making us feel very welcome. Even with a large volume of people the line kept moving and the food was prepared in a timely fashion. Great seating indoors and out. A must visit!

Friendly staff, good taste, but I hate it when a breakfast place cannot cook eggs in a way you ordered. I asked for medium poached eggs (don't judge me I don't like runny eggs hahaha), repeated a few times to make sure, still got super runny easy poached eggs. Eggs are the basic and essential for a breakfast place imo :') Otherwise I'd give 5/5

Was pretty disappointed in my $6.50 bacon breakfast sandwich. Store bought bun with an egg and 2 pieces of bacon no condiment might as well have went to tims.. wife had the BLT eggwich and same thing.. maby it was an off day or its just overpriced medeocre food. To go spinach cannelloni wasnt anything to write home about either. I guess I should have got the waffles/ Benny

I'm guessing our host, Stuart, was also the owner or manager, because he was actively orchestrating the operation in realtime while also providing super friendly service. Again, super impressed. I absolutely LOVE their food!!! I’ve come here numerous times for breakfast and it’s always been delicious, fresh and tasteful. Their coffee is great as well. It’s always busy in the summer months so patience is required to order and to find a seat. But it’s well worth it. Staff is always friendly and efficient, no matter how busy they are. I’d highly recommend this place.

A wonderful little cafe at the edge of Penticton. Wedged between houses, this cafe has a nice homey feeling. They have a wide selection of items, from coffee, to sandwiches and soup, to dessert, along with other small local grocery items.

My partner and I came here for breakfast and it was AMAZING. Amazing service. The host who I think is also the owner of the place was incredibly warm and welcoming. I had the avocado toast and it was DELICIOUS. The salsa that was topped on the toast was SO GOOD. My partner had the breakfast burrito with chorizo, he LOVED IT. Inside the resturant they had local products like BBQ sauce and hot sauce. We purchased a couple of bottles to take home! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming to this place for their delicious breakfast and amazing service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is fantastic. The host (which might be the owner) greets every party and controls the flow of people so you never feel like you're waiting. Even at the busiest if times. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They were highly focused on ensuring proper social distancing and in a very effective way that also made it feel like the bistro was serving your party alone. Food and drinks come out fresh and fast. But nothing feels rushed. We've had their sandwiches to go and this time dined in for breakfast. Have amazing food choices such as bowls and paninis and burritos. When visiting Penticton. This is a must stop.

These folks navigate social distancing efficiently and with professionalism. I’ve never been disappointed with the food, and the service is always on point. I even foolishly forgot my wallet, and I got the impression that some of the staff stayed after hours to make sure that it got to me the same day. I also enjoy the market model where you order at the counter, and your food arrives promptly.

Very high quality artisan food. Great balance between "normal food" and healthy alternatives. There is something for everyone here, and the atmosphere is top-notch. The service is fantastic as well. The prices are about what you would expect for food made using good quality ingredients. We ended up going two days in a row since we enjoyed it so much.

We were here last year and enjoyed the experience so came again this year and had a not so great experience. Ordered take out. A coffee for my wife who was waiting in the car with our two kids and a couple sandwiches and toast. First the wrong coffee was made but they remade it. After watching multiple people come in after me and order food and get it before I got mine I started getting upset. I waited over half an hour so finally I went up and asked why it was taking so long. She asked the kitchen and then gave me the bag that I had seen sitting in the window for ten minutes. They also forgot one of my sandwiches but I wasn't waiting any longer. When I got to the car my wife was upset and her coffee was cold and only 2/3 full because the whipped topping had melted. Food is good but not good enough to go back after that painful experience.

After hearing all the reviews about the delicious eggs benny, my friends and I absolutely had to have brunch here. We're glad we did! Although there was a bit of a mix up with our table number (it was mistakingly taken away and given to another table, causing them to get there food before us.) When we noticed, the Assistant Manager was very apologetic and communicative about what had happened and provided us with a free baked good which we really appreciated and we got our food quickly after. The eggs benny was worth the wait, very delicious, as was my caramal macchiato. It was also great to see the Assistant Manager stay calm and kind despite the busy times and to still take the time to properly clean/disinfect each table after it was used. I will definitely be back!

This place makes the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had. It was busy but well worth the wait. They have gluten free options as well but not after a certain time in the afternoon so if you need gluten free food try to make it in earlier.

The only breakfast food I eat is eggs benny (not a sweet/breakfast food kinda person), so I’ve had many over the years. The Bench Market was BY FAR the BEST eggs benny (with capicola ham) I’ve ever had. Absolutely blown away!! 5 Stars!

From the moment we were in line, up until the end.. amazing atmosphere and felt very welcomed! My friends and I went here for breakfast before heading back to Vancouver. The food is really good. I ordered the smoked salmon Benny and I highly recommend it. Stewart is awesome, he made sure everything was okay and was very attentive.. He handled everything in a courteous way even though it was really busy. Would definitely come here again next time I'm in Penticton!

Coffee is great staff is amazing and do a wonderful job keeping things tidy and clean for customers. Weekends they have great Bennies. Stop by here before venturing out for wine tastings and exploring the rest of the area.
