We offer you all the opinions of people who are purchasing the products of Twiggs Coffee Roasters (Catering) in Parry Sound (Canada).
To this day the firm gets a score of 3.9 stars over 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is really high, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we may be quite sure that the valuation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Catering belongs to the category of Restaurant.
This restaurant opened at the start of the pandemic and has endured three shutdowns; however, the coffee is still amazing and the food fresh and delicious. The breakfast wrap is outstanding with flavours that are fabulous. The fruit served with it is consistently great - not the usual fruit cup. The turkey sandwich is so filling and tasty, too. If you are in Parry Sound, be sure to check out this place. They are doing takeout and have a good website for online selections. The owners are often onsite working hard with their staff and deserve your support!

Great cafe! Clean and sleek inside. Friendly staff! Food was delicious and the coffee (I had a cafe latte) was great! They also sell a lot of great products and have unique dishes. Worth a visit for sure. The staff are still working out the kinks (hence the four stars) but tons of potential.
Great coffee!!! lots of options for gluten free and dairy free, staff extremely sweet and very proud of the product they are serving you! Don't pass up this hidden gem!
Be sure to get breakfast here. The bacon and eggs are lovely, but the toast is exceptional. I had to save it for last! The girl at the cash spent more time examining my documents than the CBSA.
Below average food, hash brown was very dry, beans tasted weird and the corn beef hash is just bad. Good service tho, that is why it is not a one star review. Avoid.
I was coming through Parry Sound on my way to Southern Ontario and thought I would stop in at Twiggs for a pit stop. After using the washroom I went to the counter and was ignored by 3 staff members. No “hello” we will be right with you, nothing. I left and it was like no one even cared that I was there wanting to give them some business. This was my second time there and it was honestly a waste of my time, especially when I was on a time frame. This was on Friday afternoon at roughly 1pm.
Food was good and the is clean and well decorated. No reason okie breakfast should take over 45 min. No one apologized or cleaned the plates we needed to move from the dirty table we sat at. Don't do sit in of you can't keep up.
Sadly have to give it a fail for poor communication and service. I ordered a sandwich to go; waited 35 minutes and just finally asked for a refund. Hopefully they get more staff, and tell people it will be a long wait.
Place is clean. Nice decor inside. Decent patio outside. They are licensed LCBO to serve. Service was good and friendly. My Mediterranean plate had dried out crispy pita, good sausage, good feta. The 'crab' sandwich was obviously not crab and even though we asked for dairy free, it still came with cheese. Why cheese on crab salad. The coffee was very heavily roasted like Kicking Horse, but too dark for our liking.
So sad to be writing a one star review for this place, I used to stop by for a coffee if I had time once or twice a month and I normally got what i asked for although I notice their lattes are always scalding hot. I stopped by here on Friday April 30th for a quick oat milk latte. Not trying to sound conceited but I’m a barista as well, so I know what a latte/ or dairy free latte should taste like and what I got was not it. It definitely wasn’t oat milk but I couldn’t even tell what kind of milk it was past the burnt espresso/rubber tire/ chemical taste. I tried to drink some but couldn’t manage. I opened it up to see what was up and there were gigantic bubbles that were shiny like soap bubbles (I know because I’ve also made this mistake before). Unfortunately I won’t be coming back to this twigs location.
I really enjoyed the food and beverages there. I just thought the wait for food takes a little too long. Had to wait 25 min for a sandwich. It was delicious but the wait was a bit too long.
we were in town for a 3 day golf trip. Went to Twiggs for breakfast on Tuesday morning, food was great, staff were friendly and their service was great. We all enjoyed our breakfast so much, we went back again on Wednesday. Highly recommend Twiggs if you are in Parry Sound.
Place is clean. Great service. Ordered a Montreal steak sandwich... it came with basic small sized sliced bread and plain mustard. Was hoping for a decent sized deli bun but disappointed with what was brought out for the price. Ordered a croissant from behind the counter... it was stale.
New place, extremely busy. Love the concept and menu. Staff are nice. Every milk alternative exists from oat, coconut, cashew, almond etc. It's neat how they roast their coffee on site with what looks like a $100,000 roaster imported from Europe. Can't wait until they settle in. Be prepared for long waits during weekends. Call ahead to order. Hope more locations open up in the city.
Great food, coffee was good, staff were friendly and kind despite long weekend crowds
The food is good. However, waiting for an hour to get breakfast is not really acceptable. I would think a heads up that it was going to be this long would have been appreciated as we were in a hurry. I would have kindly went elsewhere.
Amazing coffee!!! A bit of a wait for food but worth it as it's made fresh to order. Definitely recommend
Not as quick as Tim Hortons but, the food is top notch. Worth the wait as most of you aren't in that big of a hurry anyway!
The food and coffee were decent. However, there are still serious staffing issues at this location. The pizza we ordered took about 30 minutes to get. During this time the lineup started to snake its way out the door and the drive thru backed up. More staff needed.
I will not be supporting Twiggs Coffee Roasters again. I had previously been very pleased with Twiggs' whole bean House blend coffee. I stopped in to grab three bags of House blend at the end of this past camping season as I was headed through town. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that all three bags were over-roasted and burnt tasting/smelling, further confirmed by other people that I gave the beans away to. There were no roast dates or batch numbers on the bags. I called and was able to speak with the manager after a second attempt at leaving a message. I told the manager that I simply wanted to bring it to their attention and that sometimes these things happen. I was told pleasantly that chances are the wrong kind of coffee was put in the bags I had bought and she insisted on sending me three fresh House blend bags. Approximately two months have passed and I never ended up receiving the replacement bags. All of the beans I originally bought went in the compost.
Great cafe for on route services. Tasty sandwiches! We ordered BLT and Montreal smoked meat! Both are great!
Had lunch here with my family. Serving sizes are very ample. My husband had pizza, I had the Mediterranean platter (plenty to share), my son had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich. We all loved our food. Drinks were awesome too. Staff are exceptional.
First time trying Twiggs. Honestly, line up at other places so thought I would try the drive thru. Belt and a Dark Roast. Coffee is excellent and the B.E.L.T was the best I ever had. Toasted perfect, bacon fully cooked but not crunchy. Lettuce and tomatoes fresh. Will definitely be back. New favourite spot.
Dine in
Excellent food and coffee. Service slightly slow but that's because it's a popular place.
Wonderful place! Great coffee, terrific food, amazing people. MUCH better, in every way, than the Tims and McDonalds close by. Do yourself a favour and get your coffee and meal here. And take home a pound of the fresh roast!
Love the place. Staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing. The portion sizes are great too, they have full, meal-sized salads rather than just little side dishes. Wait times can be a little long, but everything else way makes up for it, especially since you can order ahead over the phone. Worth stopping by.
The food and service was amazing! And the place is very clean/modern. I had actually made a mistake and the manager was very nice and accommodating about it. I would recommend visiting here if you want great food and coffee while in Perry Sound.
Wasn't really what I was expecting for a dine-in restaurant, but the food was great and well-priced! My wife and I went in there at 10am on Sunday and got our food by 10:15ish. We will be stopping in again!
Twiggs is a great stop for delicious coffee and treats! My husband loves the pizza - which is a great deal! I love the coffee and lattes that are very tasty and at a low price. They also have some gluten free options which are individually wrapped to avoid cross contamination. The gluten free butter tart was so delicious! The staff is great, especially the owner - Rosanne. We highly recommend Twiggs in Parry Sound.
Twiggs is a very cozy new spot in Parry Sound. My "little breakfast" was perfect, as I was just driving through, and I also chose an extra bag (454g) of coffee beans to grind at home. You will enjoy their selection of pastries! I spoiled myself with a wonderful raspberry scone and bought an extra one for my wife.
Visited Twiggs Coffee Roasters in the beautiful town of Parry Sound. Full points for accessibility as it is located just off the highway. There were quite a few breakfast options to choose from and the food was delicious. Friendly service and nice decor are also worth a mention.
Twiggs is a great place for coffee, food and drinks. Forget about Tim Hortons or Starbucks. Twiggs is the place to go. Classy ambience and the best salmon bagel this side of Montreal.
We've tried a variety of menu items - the breakfasts and baking are delicious! The coffee is out of this world! My absolute favorite coffee shop. The prices are fantastic value for your money and the service is excellent!
Came through the drive through with two hungry, damp kids after getting rained out while camping. Staff was amazing and so accommodating. They didn't have any chocolate milk but specially made some for the kids. The food was great - croissants were the best I've ever had! Thanks for cheering up some sad kids (and adults)
Service here is sooooo slow. I went in and the service took forever just to get an iced drink made and it was disappointing because I looked forward to trying this place. I didn't leave a review the first time around because I figured I would give them another shot some other time and maybe it was just an off day for them. Yesterday, I went back and was hoping to do a quick in and out this time around but left just as disappointed in the service as the first time around. As a specialty coffee place, I expected to be in and out within 5 min but it took like 15 minutes just to get my cappuccillo made and I was the only one in there! I would understand if they were busy, but they weren't. It was just me!!! Why does it take 15 minutes just to get a cold drink made at a place that is supposed to specialize in drinks? I can only imagine how slow it would be if the place was busy inside. I do not recommend if you're just looking for a quick in and out coffee run. You're better off going to a busy Starbucks if you're looking for a quick specialty coffee.
Slow service but good product. I think they need more staff however that's not their fault. In a town such as parry sound no one wants to work. Worth the wait :)
Wonderful, attentive staff, careful to give you tea, coffee and espresso drinks the way you like them, good authentic food, such as Montreal Smoked Meat sandwiches, traditional breakfast combinations, a variety of home baked sweet treats, lots of seating space and high booths for distancing. They follow CoVid guidelines to keep us all safe and happy. Very nice, clean washrooms.
Food and coffee were both fantastic and the service was extremely friendly and warm! Will stop by again next time I’m in town.
I did a day trip today to Parry sound, stopped at the Twiggs there for a cold latte . Great store, awesome owner, who was working the drive through, holy moly were they busy! She said every day this weekend 350 debit purchases!! She made my drink special for me with some added extras!! 5 stars indeed!!! All the best Twiggs Parry Sound!! ????????⭐
Love the place , really, but an hour wait for breakfast! Left without ordering. Big disapointment.
I always had a great service and great food here. But last time I was there. I order a iced black coffee and received some drink with sugar. The employees did not want to change it.
Loved the Veggie Sandwich (Pure delight) Although one probably needs 2 of them for Lunch and Matcha Green Tea Smoothie was amazing too Pizza not so much, should be crispier
Nice environment for breakfast or lunch, pretty reasonable, pleasant staff. Vegan options would be great to add to the menu including non dairy milk.
Take out
One cappuccino, one date square and a brownie was the order and what I paid for, nothing complicated in a not busy store. Turns out I walked away with one brownie and the worst cappuccino I’ve had the displeasure to pay for. Took way too long to complete, and the staff clearly had no concern for customer service, being quite dismissive when another customer enquired where half of their order was. Over-all, incredibly disappointing and a total waste of money.

Great food but it takes forever for them to deliver it to you. You could be at the drive through for 10 minutes before they even acknowledged that you are there. Avoid this place until they get this fixed. After that 5 plus for sure.
Its awesome to see more Twiggs opening up! The coffee is great and its always a cozy atmosphere with really nice staff. Perfect spot between the Hwy and downtown.
Worst customer service experience I've had. They clearly had conflict with Harvey's and take it out on potential customers. They showed us their true colors when the establishment was empty and we were the only ones there. I wanted to get a latte from them but they told me my family couldn't sit on the patio and eat Harvey's, only their food. That was the first thing the batista told me. Not a single "hello" or "what can I get for you". The staff that attended me was incredibly rude. When I asked them "where are we supposed to eat? They said "thats Harvey's problem". Harvey's didn't have an outdoor patio and we didn't want to eat a meal in the car since we were on a roadtrip. They didn't even tell us there was a public patio table just outside of Harvey's where we could eat (which we found out later). Since my family already sat down to eat, I was not going to make them move nor was I going to support this business like I planned because their customer service skills was severly lacking. The staff confronted my family and told me "you have no right right be here" when we were just trying to eat our food and I was trying to support their business by buying something from them. There were about 5 staff working on a Friday afternoon at a completely empty Cafe, all for what? To harass and be rude to a potential customer? Oh and the owner said she is calling the cops on us because we refused to leave the patio. I guess they were bored and looking for drama instead of trying to be kind and gain a new customer. If they weren't so rude in the beginning I'd buy a latte, and get my family to get something from them as well. They lost business. I will not support a business that treats people this way.
Superior tasting product compared to Tim Horton’s. Healthier options too. Nicer place too.
My first visit to this place. I wanted to get a couple of decaf coffees and check out the menu. I asked if they had any flavoured coffees and was told they could add a flavour shot. I got a pumpkin spice. Sooooo good! I asked about gluten free pizza - which I eat and the server gave me a menu and said they can do the pizzas gluten free. Wow - I know where I will be ordering from!
Service
Service
The service is extremely slow. I have been waiting for the breakfast for an hour. I stopped here from Toronto to Thunder Bay. Now I have to catch up my time. If I knew it was this slow, I would have gone to McDonald’s across the road. Finally we ask for refund.
Lunch
Oh ,so nice. The lady at the drive-thru was amazing! The latte superb! The BLT good. The cinnamon bun...wow!
