We had Tulips & Maple cater our office Xmas party this past Friday. It is standing tables and canapes server by servers all evening with an "action poutine" station at the end of the night. It was for 100 guests. Every expectation that was set by the T & M team was met. Their pre-party planning and visit, set up and execution was exactly what we asked for with a large focus on the details of items that went wrong with past caterers. We will definitely use them for all of our functions moving forward. HUGE recommendation, food and coordination was outstanding! Our guest and staff were very impressed with the level of service and friendly nature. Julie who oversaw and managed the event was incredibly engaging and had her eye on everything throughout the entire evening. She even noticed I didn't get a poutine and saved one for me. It was our first Xmas party that I could actually relax at and enjoy our guests and not direct the caterers all night. Very refreshing experience !!

The service was superb in every way from putting up the tent, to setting up for the ceremony and the lunch, responding to every single request, and for cleaning up and taking everything away again. I would highly recommend Tulips and Maple to cater your special event. They have been very helpful from the very beginning. Their food is delicious, service and presentation are top notch. Definitely one of the best ones in the City of Ottawa (if not the best)

We used Tulips and Maple for our wedding this year. We had to postpone our first time around and then when it came to planning the real deal lots of things were up in the air and had changed. I probably called or emailed them everyday to ask questions and make changes in the weeks leading up to the wedding and they were so patient and understanding. They made it very easy to rent everything we needed and the food was delicious.

Awful employer. I was assaulted by a client while I worked with them in a wedding country side. The client was terrible drunk, totally intoxicated. I tried to be very professional, taking care of the client drunk who assaulted me. I told to my manager and she did not do nothing. Instead I received very bad evaluation and rate, even when I kept calm, and I helped to the client who fell down on the grass while he was hitting me on my breast. IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF, DON'T WORK THERE, THEY WILL NOT PROTECT YOU FOR NOTHING, AT CONTRARY THEY WILL TRY TO SILENT YOU AND PUNISH YOU.

Horribly obnoxious sign for a CATERING SERVICE at a sports complex. Advertising for something relevant to a sportsplex would be a smarter idea, not sure who approved a sign this size. Looks absolutely terrible. hai i’m back again this sign is still absolutely sickening please take it down it literally hurts my eyes when i see it????(I’m so happy to see that this sign has almost fallen down today, somebody do us a favour and pull it the rest of the way down xx)

Simply the best catered wedding I've been to all summer! The level of food produced on site as a mobile service was beautiful. So many well prepared creative choices and very friendly staff. I'd recommend their services to anyone looking for quality catering!!!!

The service staff was polite, efficient, and went above and beyond. We were extremely impressed with everything. Catherine our main point of contact during the planning process was very knowledgeable and helped us every step of the way to ensure we knew all our options and to make sure we got everything we wanted. She was great!

I used Tulips and Maple to catering a wedding shower and they were amazing! Everyone raved about the presentation of the platters and of course, the deliciousness of the food. The staff was excellent to deal with and I found the preset menus perfect for our event.

I provided this feedback to the T&M but got no reply or acknowledgment. They appeared to have taken the money and run… Quantities were a bit underwhelming for the price. I was not the only one to mention it out of my party of 25 guests. Specific feedback for each selection. Surf&turf were probably the best and nice portion. Crusted beef tenderloin were quite good as well. Wild Mushroom fricassée - not enough mushrooms on the bread. Not tasty at all. Compare to each Surf and Turf, these bites were not really worth it for a higher price point. Caprese stick were very good as well. About right for size. Meatballs were very good also but the size was ridiculously small… Petits fours - Dessert… The tray of cut out desserts from larger cakes was certainly not worth that price. $20 for 12 very little pieces cut from a larger desert? I acknowledge that they mentioned that these were ok to be served with just napkins. But you can still have a two-bite portion on a napkin. But to top this off, they offered three people for service at a cost of $670. There was only one dish to cook and very little work to pass those hors d’œuvres. I was smart enough to decline this over the top offer.

Due to a family illness we needed to plan a small wedding in less than 6 weeks. Everything was absolutely exceptional. This was a tough crowd to please, but the agreement was universal - the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the tables looked beautiful. The day was so so successful (and worry free) in large part to their efforts. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Tulips and Maple did the catoring for my wedding at the Fort Henry Discovery Centre on September 1st 2017. The food was delicious and we had lots to choose from for our menu. Prices were standard 45-55 dollar plates. The food was delivered without much problems. We dicedid to go without a reception line which caused a bit of a hiccup but the kitchen bounced back! The only down side was the wedding part missed a few of th appetizers. They were supposed to bring some to us as we were getting pictures taken and such. As a result my wife and I missed out on many of the different apps, although I heard they were all great! When it came to the alcohol, which we choose to do an open bar for $45/pp. Very fair price. With that price I was also able to include a few nice bottles of scotch including an 18yr glenfidich! However, I had origionally requested that there be more whiskey and other alcohol to which Christine, the manager, asked me if I was sure I needed them. Giving her the benefit of the doubt with her experience I let her make the call. I made sure to let her know my wedding guest drink heavily. Knowing that she told me if they expect to be low or run out they can get more early on.... Two hours into the wedding I checked with Christine to ensure we would not run out, especially of whiskey! I was told we were fine. Within an 2 hours they were out of scotch and whiskey. Throughout the night they ran out of beer, vodka, whiskey and I'm not sure about others. Christine was clearly sympathetic and doing everything she could to replenish the stock with anything they could find, only to run out of coors light on three different times. Tulips and Maples did give us some compensation that was fair and let us have the left over booze. I was happy with the sincerest efforts Christine made, it was clear that she felt awful, however; this was something that took me away from enjoying my night as I ended up trying to solve the issue instead of dancing with my bride. Again, the food was great, the service was ok, and I appreciate Christine's efforts to rectify the situation but when you pay money to have an Open Bar at your wedding you do not want it to run out of liquor.

Just attended a breakfast catered by Tulips and Maple. 100+ people at $16 per head, and these yahoos only provided enough food to feed 20 people. And the food they did provide: cold mini danishes, cold mini croissants, and sliced fruit. A two-star hotel gives better quality breakfast. Do not hire these people to cater your event - unless you want to be majorly embarrassed.

The food was delivered right on time, piping hot, beautifully prepared and presented - and it was delicious. I would recommend Tulip & Maple for any gathering you might be considering. FABULOUS!!! Booked them for my wedding during the pandemic. From the coordinator, to the chef, to the servers and bartenders ... everyone was so friendly and helpful! Holy. Shiitake. Mushrooms. Without a doubt I will probably never attend another wedding unless it is catered by Tulips and Maple. They are so incredible. We postponed our wedding originally and they adapted, we also then moved it up and they not just adapted but did everything so effortlessly. The team, the service, the FOOD.
