Had a delicious family lunch here. Our server was wonderful (I forgot to get her name). I had to leave shortly after we arrived to get a haircut at a barbershop a few doors down. Our server was great about it and took my order and kept it warm until I arrived back. The place looks pretty awesome considering it's just in a plaza--I expected an older decor but everything was clean and modern. Will come back here again.

First time here tonight with my family. This place has been here for some time. I was amazed how the place filled up on a Sunday night. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff very friendly. There was a lot of regulars that the staff know by name, so that tells me so worth coming here and so should you. You won't be disappointed, my family will be back.

This place has the BEST food, with quality ingredients and big portions at competitive prices. The place is clean; it's laid out in a way that is cozy no matter where you sit, and the staff is friendly. The picture included is of their Taco Nachos. I had the Pesto Chicken Melt as a wrap this time, and it was amazing. ???? I highly recommend!

I should actually reduce my rating as the owner just decided to reply aggressively to me rating their restaurant which I ate at on Wednesday December 23. I was there years ago and it was a complete sht hole. We went back because my step father wanted to try it. Visually the restaurant looked much better. Well decorated and clean. HOWEVER the 10 person limit was NOT being followed. There were 18 people seated. My black bean burger was blah and the bun was stale and tasteless. My wife's beef dip was chewy. I could continue to critique but I won't waste my time all in all it was a big improvement from the first time I was there years ago. Your staff were very pleasant and professional. But the food is meh. I was just going to leave my rating and not get into it but since you left your aggressive comment I elaborated for all to read I certainly will not be coming back now.

Always a delight going to this restaurant. outstanding service, amazing food (rainbow trout) is always cooked perfect, and for the alcohol enjoyers- they make a mean rye and ginger. A must go to in Orillia for a night out!

This is our go to place when driving threw Orillia. Food is always hot, which is a big thing for me as I hate when we go out and get cold food. Service is great everyone one is very friendly, restaurant is kept clean and in good order. The menu is a bit overwhelming with a vast selection. Everything we have tried is great though.

Food was great, staff was really nice and great with the kids. Has a very homie feel with lots of "cottage" genre decor. Lots of parking and fast serving times. Washrooms were well kept as well. I would recommend this place any day.

Been once before and food was great but service was a little slow. But the food brought us back, this time my food wasn't very good. Very little taste to it and we waited almost an hour for our food. So mixed review hence 3 star rating.

Neat atmosphere (as the name implies). The food was good and the servers friendly. Prices seemed reasonable. Was also able to watch the football game on their tv’s which was a bounce for me.

Had a reservation booked for over a week. showed up and was told it was going to be roughly half an hour. Needless to say didn't dine there. When i finally did return to dine, my gf and I ordered the schnitzel dinner, and the steak dinner. The steak was overcooked, the mashed potatoes were simply that, potatoes that had been mashed, no sort of seasoning, butter, or any sort of prep. The Vegetables were also completely unseasoned, and had been cooked for MAYBE a minute on the grill. Overall considering the price tag of the dinner I was expecting a well prepared meal. It seeemed to have been slapped together by someone who has no pride in their work. Overall incredibly disappointed, I went before I had an event expecting to enjoy a nice steak dinner. I ended up eating a couple bites before sending it back. On the other hand. The schnitzel dinner was excellent. the portions of both meals were a large size. Just lack of effort and care from the kitchen staff.

Jeff and the team at Lake Country Grill came to the rescue with less than two weeks until our son's wedding reception and provided us with a fantastic meal for the 50 guests. Everyone commented on how tasty the food was and the amount of food provided was also very generous. We are very thankful for the entire team that contributed to making the evening such a great success!

This restaurant is definitely one of the best places to eat in the area. It is located in the north end of Orillia and for some reason has been wrongfully labeled as an overpriced pub. Well I have news for you. This is more of a casual fine dining establishment. The food is fantastic and the menu is unique and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is alive. Don't forget to check Friday Karaoke nights. And check out their schedule of live bands.

We have eaten here several times and the food is usually pretty good, but the service is quite often slow. One time I waited for a table while my Mom went to the bathroom. Many staff passed by me without even acknowledging I was there. Mom came back and still we waited. We finally left and went elsewhere. Busy is one thing I get that, but no one even smiled and said we'll be with you soon or anything.

Mediocre food ????????‍♀️ probably won't be going back, for the price it wasn't really worth it. Kitchen staff kept coming out of the kitchen with no mask on, one man in particular and one lady. Had one waitress walking around with her mask on her chin while behind the bar, saw one waitress stick her finger in someone's Cesar (drink) to get something out (before putting the calmatoe juice in)

Lunch today. Had the Schnitzel sandwich with bacon and sauerkraut and side of slaw. Hubby had the Fall off the bone roast beef au jus. All tasted great and Meghan was very nice.

I ordered from the Lake Country Grill on skip the dishes last night and all i have to say is I was very disappointed. I got the roaster wings, taco poutine barge, and mashed potatoes. Now let's start with the best food i got last night witch was the maahed potatoes well very good and cheesy they had a little to much onion in them for my taste. Now from best to worst, that would be a tie between the wings and the taco poutine. The wings were extremely dry even though they had honey Garlic sauce on them, also the flavor of the sauce was very disappointing. The Taco Poutine well it had good meat on it had this overwhelming red sauce (assuming it was some kind of salsa) on it that made the entire dish taste if pure onion and nothing else. I will not be ordering from this establishment again as I feel this meal wasn't worth anywhere near what I paid for it.

Our Ukulele group went yesterday for dinner, all 8 of us had great meals the service was prompt and friendly, I had the chicken strips and fries, the chicken was actually chicken and very moist, quite a few had the fish and chips and were very happy with it. prices were reasonable. I'd go back

Poor food quality. Greasy and bland. Forgot the garlic bread, both orders. Went back and picked them up. Upon returning home I realized they had also forgotten the order of shrimp. Was so disappointed by the wilted salad and the horrible foor I didn't bother to call about the forgotten shrimp. I just won't go back.

My family and I went here for dinner,drove all the way from fort erie for my moms 70th birthday and after our dinner i got up and there was gum all over my sweater pants and shirt from underneath the table. Our waitress had to tell the manager 3 times to come and talk to us. The manager didn't seem to care at all. The manager finally came over to us 10-15 minutes later to tell us she heard ice takes out gum. Thanks captain obvious. Waitress was good but manager should care about the customer s a little more.

horrible,ordered take out wings,overcooked,hard,could not even eat. The Angus beef and cheese etc. melt contained only beef between a dry hard bun. Never again. Should of went through the McDonalds Drive Thru,far better food.Not even 1 star but no option to click on none.

I read the reviews so I thought I would give this place a try....after getting seated we waited 15min. There were 3 tables and 3 servers. After trying repeatedly to get someone's attention we left. Can't comment on the food but if you are looking for pub type experience I would go somewhere else.

Had dinner yesterday with friends after seeing all the good reviews. Nice atmosphere and friendly waitress ( mallory). However ,for the price of the food, the portion size was not justified . The chicken was very small and the pork schnitzel should not have been served with gravy, that should have been given separately. We all left feeling hungry and not satisfied. We will not be returning .

What more can I say. No reservation, 7 of us and the place is packed. The staff look at us with the kids we have, and say, sure no problem: come on in. The food was great, the service was friendly and attentive. And when the kids were getting noisy, no problem. Can we bring them a colouring book? Do you want their drinks early? No problem. What a relieve. As a grandparent, I would come here any time I am in Orillia.

It's customary to serve something similar to salsa with taco nachos not something that taste more like onion bbq sauce. As for the beef melt sandwich you would receive a better roast beef sandwich at Subway at half the price. Not horrible but for my wife and I it won't be a place we frequent but may give another try at some point

I absolutely adore this place! The ambiance is wonderful and it definitely makes you feel like in lake country. We had the “Smoky Nachos” and the kids had “Mommy I Dropped My Ice Cream”. We all enjoyed our meals. The service was great and the staff is so kind! Any time we visit Orillia we come and eat at Lake Country Grill. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Went a month ago. Ordered the Ruben sandwich. It came to our table cold. Bread was toasted but the pastrami was cold as well as the cheese. Very disappointing. When we mentioned it to our server she did not apologize. The fries were so so. The carpet as you come into the restaurant was filthy. We will not be returning to this restaurant ever. There is far nicer restaurants to go to where we can get a good lunch that is cooked properly. Again very disappointing.

Server was excellent. Food was mediocre. Very slow in arriving and not as ordered. Had to replace fish as it was overcooked and tough as shoe leather. Schnitzel was okay. - nothing in our party of four orders came out hot - warm at best. Would not return and would have been a one star rating if it hadn't been for our great server.

Now let's get to the food it was delicious and I noticed some of it is locally sourced which is even better. Definitely would go there again and I can't wait till they can have entertainment again. Our Waitress was Meagan (not sure on the spelling) but she was so wonderful, pleasant and helpful and one of the best waitress' I have had in a long time. Tonight two of my friends and I came in for their Fall Festival dinner. There was a soup or salad, a turkey dinner and pie for dessert oh and don’t forget the fancy hot apple cider drink. Can I just say this meal was FANTASTIC! The soup was a perfectly hot butternut squash with fresh black pepper on it, I could have made a meal out of that????. Our server Julie was just so sweet, my one friend is allergic to walnuts and Julie found out that the salad didn’t have any in the “seeds” that came on the salad. We asked if there was possibly any cranberry sauce available and she found some for us no problem. I asked if I could get some cheddar cheese on my apple pie melted and it was perfect! Julie took care of us and made our dinner a wonderful experience. There was musical entertainment tonight as well and he was great. Lake Country Grill never fails me and I recommend this place and the staff front and back.

Extensive menu has something for everyone, from burgers and sandwiches/wraps to tacos to pasta and full dinner entrees. Tons of appetizers to choose from as well, many available in half orders. I had the ribs and wings. The wings were huge! Biggest I've seen. Tasted okay. The ribs weren't good at all. For that and a glass of water it was almost 40 bucks with a tip. My waiter was great and these 2 stars are for her. The chef...not so much. Did you boil my ribs?...lol. They have ZERO flavour, but the bbq sauce was tasty...and I am betting you throw out a ton of coleslaw. It is getting hard to find a good meal here in Orillia but my search continues.

The woman at the front was very nice and polite. I did order online to pick up and we did order the roaster wings and and I added a pound more for $10 but never received it. We just got the wings and fries which I didn't ask for but that's no big deal. The wings are very dry, bland, and rubbery. We also ordered the chicken Parm which was good.. the spaghetti was bland.

I called and ordered food for takeout for my family. There was something on the menu for everyone including my 3 year old picky daughter. I liked that they had a website where I could view their menu online. The prices are good-reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious and their pie is to die for. It was really fast aswell. I believe it was a 20 minute weight for our food to cook. The girl that served me was super friendly and polite. I had a good experience. Excellent restaurant, will definitely be returning

I've been here twice as a traveler from out of town. The food and prices are great. I live 3.5 hours north and my family lives 2 hours West. I enjoy meeting them here when we can't make the full trip one way. I'll definitely be back.
