We hired Paul from Laforet Catering to create an appetizer and main course for a five person meal. He showed up exactly when promised, delivered exactly the type of meal we had inquired about and was a pleasure to be around. Lastly, and most importantly, everything tasted amazing! All guests were extremely happy with their food and a few even mentioned it again the next day just how good it was. Cheers!

My husband and I had the most delicious and amazing private dinner experience with chef Paul. We ordered the duck confit to start (a must try!!), 72 hour braised beef short rib for main and poached pear for dessert. We were completely blown away by the quality and deliciousness of this meal (which rival some of the best restaurants in toronto). Chef Paul is truly so talented and also such a lovely person to talk to. You won't be disappointed.

We had the maple infused squash, the beef short ribs, and the panna cotta--all three dishes were incredible. I would recommend Laforet Catering to anyone and look forward to hiring them again.

Chef Paul cooked an amazing 3 course dinner over the fire during our stay at Glen Oro Farm. Booking was quick and easy. Everything on the menu looked so delicious it was difficult to narrow down our choices! The meal was incredible, one of the best steaks we have had over fire. The service was top-notch too. If you are on the fence about booking Chef Paul, this is your sign to do it for a special one-of-a-kind experience.

Purely perfection! We had Paul join us at our AirBnB for a private dinner to celebrate our recent marriage and it was nothing short of perfection. From the first e-mail exchange, the whole process was smooth and professional. I truly appreciate a prompt response, and that is what we received. Paul showed up on time, and was over-prepared for the experience. He was organized, friendly, and extremely personable. The food was absolutely incredible, and the portion sizes were generous. He brought everything he needed, and everything was cleaned up and taken care of before he left. When we went into the kitchen, it was like he wasn't even there. He met, and exceeded any expectations we had for the experience and we are so glad we did it. We highly recommend booking him for your next dinner party, or camping experience. We will certainly be using him in the near future for a fireside dinner.

Laforet catering is one of the best catering companies around. Co-owners - Chef Paul Laforet, and Burgundy Laforet, run an incredible business with AMAZING food. They are so quick at responding to requests , questions, emails, etc. They are very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend booking them while you can because it is definitely worth the experience!

Paul catered an intimate dinner party for my sister's bachelorette party last weekend. The food was excellent! Not only was the food incredible but so was his service and professionalism leading up to the event. He was able to cater last minute, was very responsive and accommodating to our budget. We were absolutely blown away.....I'm OBESSESSED with his grilled cesar salad. Amazing job, 10/10 would recommend.

We had the most incredible experience doing the fireside dining with Chef Paul at Glen Oro farm. The process was so smooth. Booking was easy, Burgundy was wonderful to communicate with when picking our menu and Chef Paul even accommodated my dietary restrictions by making the most delicious flourless chocolate cake which was so appreciated. Everything was cooked to perfection and the fireside dining experience was so special. The skill of being able to make perfect pan seared scallops, risotto and rainbow trout over a fire is incredible! Our meal was genuinely one of the best meals we have ever had. Thank you so much to Paul and Burgundy for this perfect dining experience- we can’t wait to do it again!

My friend and I experienced Chef Paul's incredible campfire cooking experience during our recent stay at Glen Oro farm. It was the highlight of our stay! He set up a mini kitchen beside the campfire and proceeded to create the most scrumptious 3-course meal for us. (He also willingly accommodated my food intolerances.) It was no small feat during the second coldest night of the winter season (-18 while he was cooking and -26 during the coldest part of the night)! Do not hesitate to pamper yourself, it will be well worth it!

Chef Paul made one of the most unforgettable meals I will ever have. He cooked a 3-course meal for my fiancé and I at Glen Oro Farm Eco-Retreat to celebrate a 30th birthday. All of the food was cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and was delicious. We had lobster charred on the campfire and risotto that melted in your mouth. As we were eating, we were already planning a return trip so we could try more items on the menu. Chef Paul is great company, easy to chat with, and provides wonderful service. Do not miss an opportunity to dine with Laforet Catering!

Utilizing locally sourced ingredients, prepared from scratch and cooked over an open fire they loved ALL of it!. The booking through his wife Burgundy was an absolute pleasure, super easy and very well organized!

Thanks Chef Paul for a delicious dinner. The campfire cooking experience was stopped by mother nature, too much rain to keep a fire going. Chef Paul had a backup plan ready and cooked our meal offsite and brought it to us in courses. I guess we will have to try again another time, the meal was so good we can't wait! We highly recommend Laforet catering. .
