We ordered 4 entrees and dessert for Father's Day and we were over the moon at how delicious everything was. It was like going to a high end restaurant but eating the meal in our backyard! The reheating instructions were easy to follow and the food was cooked perfectly. The boneless beef short ribs were 'melt in your mouth', as was the bc crusted halibut. All the veggies were flavourful and fresh. And, there were no left overs with the desserts! We will be back, thanks Matthew for making this a memorable Father's Day.

My boyfriend and I first met Chef Kennedy at a knife skills class where we prepared an INCREDIBLE meal. We stayed in touch and used his services for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday recently (during this period of time at home due to COVID) and the experience was so amazing. Not only was Chef Kennedy super responsive, but he helped us create a custom meal (apps, entrees, and dessert), packaged everything with organization, and clear instructions for reheating. The portions were also very generous, we still have leftovers! Everything was delicious and so unique. Highly recommend his services!

We had the beef short rib for Father’s Day. Ooh baby it was good. Totally above our expectations. Dad had the fish and said the same but I’m sure the beef was better;) solid sized potato rosti too. Sauce was awesome and the driver was pretty funny. Would definitely order again.

Chef Matthew Kennedy of Kennedy Catering is one of the most talented and creative chefs I have ever known. He has always strived to bring awareness to sustainability and using fresh and local ingredients. As a culinary student he was always driven by the concept of “terroir” not just as it applied to wine but how it could apply to the way we think about cooking. I myself am also a chef and I am constantly inspired by his passion! Chef Kennedy has a wealth of knowledge about the origins of where our ingredients come from and using those ingredients to create exciting and new flavor profiles. The manner in which he presents his dishes are pieces of art! They are bright and they exude love as if it’s bouncing off the plate. If you’ve had the pleasure of engaging with him you know that he loves sharing his creations and bringing awareness to his customers about local farms and seasonal produce/meats. I know that whenever I’m creating a new dish he’s always the person I want to defer to. He has always pushed me to be better. For nearly 20yrs Chef Kennedy has worked tirelessly to meet the highest standard of customer service often going above and beyond to make someone’s meal, someone’s wedding or corporate function exceptional. Perfection is not something that I think is attainable when it comes to flavor because the mark of a great chef is always striving to get better but if anyone has come close to perfection it’s Chef Matthew Kennedy! I would recommend him to anyone who wants their event to be memorable!

My husband and I just had a wonderful Father's Day dinner. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection, moist and topped with yummy gravy. The halibut was grilled nicely. Both desserts of Tiramitsu and toffee pudding were heavenly! What a delicious meal !

We've ordered both from the the holiday specials and from the a la carte menus numerous times and have enjoyed each and every meal. Tonight we had the butter chicken with aloo gobi and scented basmati rice; super- delicious! Quality you really can savor. Reasonably priced too!

Chef Kennedy makes a delicious spread of food and desserts. He catered to our dietitian team and we loved every single dish, the salmon and beet salad were a hit! The quality of the food was so fresh and Mathew has such a great personality which is always a bonus :) I have recommended him to some friends and totally encourage everyone to try his food!

Chef Matthew Kennedy is definitely in a class of his own. He surpassed my every expectation. He and his team came into our home and tended to every last detail. Party planning is made simple with Matthew. He has a large variety of food items to choose from and is extremely helpful in putting together a menu that was just perfect for my event. Matthew's food was fresh, delicious, and professionally presented. My guests were overwhelmed as they were wined and dined by his team of waiters from Served You Right. They were polite, polished, fun, and ensured every guest was well taken care of. Kennedy Catering will always be at the top of my guest list for any party. I won't have another party without him!!
