I recently planned a 50th birthday surprise celebration for my husband at the One Eighty Lounge in the Private Room. I worked closely with Danielle Daoust (Event Manager for Entertainment Special Events & Catering) to plan the evening. I had never planned this type of party and completely deferred to Danielle for her consultation and leadership. Danielle was very professional, experienced and knowledgeable, and orchestrated each detail to perfection. She completely understood my vision and ran with it. It turned out exactly as I had imagined and it was a terrific and very memorable evening!! The venue was absolutely magical and all the guests really enjoyed it. The evening was clear and the view was perfect. The music / DJ simply added to the perfect ambiance! The staff- Jay, Jacqueline and Richard were outstanding!!! They were professional and very attentive to the guests and made the evening extra special and worry free… I was actually able to enjoy myself, knowing that they were taking care of all the details…. The food selection was terrific…. Thank you to the One Eighty Lounge for a great venue, the staff, the chef, and especially to Danielle. It was an absolutely perfect evening!

Nicola, Sydney and the staff at the One Eighty restaurant made this process so easy for us. Every small detail we missed during planning, they had thought of for us. Any issues that arose during event day, they handled before we needed to worry. An absolute pleasure to work with both of these ladies and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They presented creative, delicious, and practical items to the team from the start of the project. We worked with them on catering, staffing, and production for multiple events on the same evening and they executed each one flawlessly.

I cant say enough about how smoothly the process went even whilst coordinating mostly from London UK. The venue itself was very accommodating, beautifully decorated and clean. The food selections, preparation and plating was excellent, while also allowing for our own unique ethnic food selections to be brought in and served along side. We had many compliments from our guests. The final cost was well under any other comparable venue in Toronto and in-line with what was agreed, with no surprises. We chose Eatertainment to host and cater our wedding at The One Eighty, a restaurant on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre in downtown Toronto which they own. It was a relatively small affair with about 50 guests, but what made it a little more complicated was that we were coming from out of town and really had to rely on Nicola (the Events Manager and our point of contact) and her team to handle a lot of the details for us. We were also on a fairly tight budget, and we felt that Nicola and the team really went out of their way to help us control costs and meet our budget, and truly went above and beyond for us even so. They absolutely blew us away. It started with reaching out when we were scouting venues several months prior. Nicola met with us at The One Eighty during the restaurant's off-hours and walked us through the venue and the process and set us up with a tasting at their off-site kitchen/office location, where the team treated us to a tour of their kitchen (a fun detail!) and pampered us with options for our canapes and the courses. We had tried 3-4 other caterers, and they were all excellent, but every single item we tried from Eatertainment was phenominal. Of everything we tried, we chose to serve 3 warm and 3 cool canapes, my favourite being the Beet Fritters (very unique) and my wife's favourite being the Indian Cauliflower Poppers. Although it was close for the salads, we selected the Growing Garden salad because it was very beautifully presented- simple and elegant- and for mains we both agreed that the Feta and Spinach Stuffed Chicken main was the BEST. It's a fairly simple sounding main, but it was truly amazing- juicy, plump, very flavourful. We eschewed some of the fancier options because it was so good! We also selected the Prima Verde as our vegetarian option since we had several vegetarians attending, and it definitely held its own. Eatertainment was even able to accommodate veganifying it for one of our guests without a fuss. We chose the Moulten Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert as well (very decadent!) When we asked about options for wedding cakes, Eatertainment themselves didn't make them in-house- however, Nicola had a connection with a bakery that was able to make us our cake for a good price. She handled all the details for us. Same thing for the florist and rentals- we were able to send a few inspiration photos and the team worked their sources and came up with options for us, all of really impressive quality and very mindful of expenses. The team even went out and picked up sparklers for us at the dollar store! All of these details were extremely helpful to us since we were coordinating everything remotely. The bar options were very flexible. We chose to go with an open bar and were able to choose the selection of beer, wine, and rail drinks from a good breadth of options. Our contract had a minimum bar spend, but it was backstopped- we'd need to specifically authorize overages before they happened- which was comforting. Their pricing was very fair and we actually didn't hit overage territory on the wedding night. :) Eatertainment's initial bid was higher than most of the other venues and caterers we were looking at, but we went with them because they promised so much more than just a space and some food. They took care of all these details, plus little easy to forget things like name cards, menus, sound system, glassware/silverware, helping us prepare last minute items, etc. Looking back on it after the fact, they actually saved us quite a bit, as these nickle-and-dime items really would have added up at some of the other options we were looking at. The venue was amazing as well- the atmosphere and ambiance was very modern and the scenic view of downtown Toronto by night was an amazing backdrop for the wedding and really impressed the guests. We didn't experience one single problem during the wedding. The staff were all attentive. Glasses were full, food came out quickly and perfectly. The chef even came out to check on things at one point! I ran out of review space. <3

My wife and I have ordered the Southwest Box, the Eastern Box and the Ribs and Wings box. Each is delicious and plentiful giving us between 3 and 4 meals for each of these boxes. We even used the sauces like guacamole and salsa (from the Southwest box) with our breakfast. I recommend all 3 of those boxes.

My now husband and I are from Chicago but planned a destination wedding in Toronto. With catering being such a huge chunk of a wedding budget, we knew we had to choose wisely. We ended up picking Eatertainment as we felt they fit our vision for our wedding day the most. They also seemed extremely familiar with our venue, Steam Whistle Brewery. We ended up working with a few different coordinators which was a little stressful as most of our correspondence was via email and we were worried that we wouldn't have that level of comfort that you would with working with the same person throughout the whole wedding planning process. Luckily, we ended up working with Alyssa Seli for a majority of the planning when a lot of the decisions had to be made as well as working with her on the day of our wedding. Alyssa honestly made us feel so confident and comfortable that our day would go smoothly and sure enough, it was flawless from beginning to end. The food was amazing. We chose the BBQ buffet to go with the warm summer day we had and the Steam Whistle beer. We would most definitely recommend Eatertainment for your wedding day. They were very flexible with our requests and absolutely helped bring our vision to life and we couldn't be happier with our decision. You will not regret it!

Not only did they provide exceptional catering services but when Kelly showed up were her crew, she asked what needed to be done. The Spanish tapas 1/2 box meal, advertised to feed 2-3 people, continues to feed my 2-person household two days later. Everything was delicious (the gazpacho and paella actually taste better the next day), and it was all very easy to prep for serving, thanks to the individual vacuum packaging and unfussy directions. The red and white wines that came paired also went perfectly with the flavours of the dishes. Looking forward to trying more of their family box themes.

If you are on the hunt for a caterer, I will be the first to agree that it is hard work!!! We hired Eatertainment to cater our wedding and I am so happy that we did! There are SO many options in the GTA, but one of the most appealing characteristics that won me over was the flexibility, responsiveness and positive attitude that radiated from our Event Manager, Nicola Samuels. Nicola was amazingly communicative and flexible, which are 2 things that in my past experience can decrease over time. Once you sign the contract, you can rest assured that you will be treated just as wonderfully as you were before you had signed the dotted line! My husband and I were looking for an Italian/Southern fusion because I grew up in Tennessee and he grew up close to his Italian roots. Both cultures valuing food very much. I loved the variety of options that allowed us to touch all facets of our cultures (antipasto bar, chicken and biscuits, burrata ravioli, cornish hen and cornbread, etc.). All of the food and service was fantastic! Even when the event was done, Nicola remained so helpful! Thank you for all of your help, you are a huge reason why people are still raving about our wedding today!

Where do we even begin? Planning a wedding can be stressful but planning a wedding during Covid is a whole other ball game. My husband and I were married on October 9th 2020 and right from the beginning Kori Gorman set our mind at ease. Leading up to the wedding it was a roller coaster ride, but Kori was right by our side and helped to manage all the details and changes we were facing on a weekly basis. On the day of Kori and the team helped to execute to make sure the day ran smoothly, and it did! I didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying our big day. The Food: Wow, wow & wow! My husband and I got married at The One Eighty at the top of the Manulife centre this past September, 2017. The expansive views of the city are unbeatable at this venue. We had four food stations, an open bar with signature cocktails, and the team at Eatertainment even let us bring our own desserts for our dessert table and supplied the cake stands to make it look thoughtfully designed. The team let us sample the food before selecting our final menu. Everything was considered. We worked with Danielle and Nicola, who were so attentive and kind. I can't recommend this venue enough. The Eatertainment team gave us so much more than a venue. They took on wedding planning, made sure our day went effortlessly, and the staff quickly became our friends.

Working with Eatertainment in planning our July 2015 wedding at Steam Whistle Brewery was an amazing experience :) We loved Kelly Bolt from the minute we met her at our tasting and every meeting, email and site visit from then on in was easy and professional. They were so flexible in meeting our menu and budget needs - and we had rave reviews on the food. Our guests actually said it was the best wedding food they had ever had!! We had antipasto, salad, an amazing gorgonzola gnocchi, and then a wonderful mushroom option, chicken option and steak option, all topped off with a mixed dessert platter. I cannot say enough good things about the excellent service that Eatertainment provided, along with the outstanding quality of the food! We started off the event with a cocktail reception and our choice of canapes were absolutely delicious! The meal was a series of three food stations and a desert station. Each station provided the perfect portion size so our guests were able to thoroughly enjoy each station that evening. Working with the Eatertainment team – primarily with Danielle Doust, Event Manager – was highly effective and blissfully easy. The entire staff was gracious and flexible, ensuring we were happy with the décor, menu, cocktail selection and pricing, while continually making helpful suggestions to amplify our event. The space was beautiful and all guests enjoyed the venue despite a rain pour that kept our guests indoors for the first half of the evening. The One Eighty is both intimate and elegant, welcoming and whimsical. The views are stunning from both inside and outside on the patio – our guests were thrilled. The catering staff was on point from the moment we arrived to set up until we left at the end of the night. The food was well-prepared and fresh, leaving our guests satisfied, happy and ready to connect over coffee, tea and a decadent dessert. Overall, our review mimics those provided here: every staff member was attentive and accommodating, the space and views are stunning, and our guests had an amazing time. With all of this in mind, The One Eighty is one of our new favorite venues, and it should be one of yours as well.

We used Eatertainment to cater our wedding in March 2019 at SteamWhistle. Our contact, Alyssa, was amazing to work with. She was responsive, attentive and friendly. Leading up to the wedding, Alyssa helped to manage all the details and on the day of she helped to execute to make sure the day ran smoothly. The food was also incredible. We had our tasting with Eatertainment and knew immediately we wanted to use them as our caterer. The food at the tasting was creative, delicious and beautifully presented. We were not surprised (but of course super happy) to hear from our guests how much they loved the food at the wedding. Feeding over 180 people is not an easy task, but Eatertainment did it without any compromise to the taste or temperature to the food. Thank you again to Alyssa and her entire team!

We can not say enough good things about our experience. The two pieces of feedback we received from all of our guests was about the beauty of the venue and the food. Both were totally a WOW factor. The venue layout lends itself to the perfect party. Opportunities for separation should guests need some air, but a feeling of togetherness is still maintained. The staff are outstanding - a great mix of professional but relaxed. From the planning stages to the day of, it was a 10/10 experience.

We received our first family meal box from Eatertainment yesterday and very pleased we chose the Southwest option. The steak and shrimp were perfectly grilled and seasoned and we all loved the lime cilantro sour cream, fresh salsa and jalapeno cornbread ! There's a lot in this meal box and we will enjoy the second meal again tomorrow night. After this wonderful experience it will not be the last. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the packaging, everything was clean and sleek exactly like pictured on their website and will highly recommend to my family and friends.

I just want to say we have almost made our way through all the menu options and its hard to pick a favourite since they are all so delicious and amazing value. I think the Ribs & Wings are better than any I've been served in a restaurant and the Frank's sauce is the perfect added touch! I would really like you to start bottling some of your dressings and sauces as they are better than any others I've tried! You have been a bright spot in trying times so thanks for making me look so good at dinnertime!
