Got the Hero sub, friend got the brisket sub. Served in a warm bun, all the right toppings and more than enough meat! Both subs were excellent. Service was excellent, restaurant was clean and staff was very helpful. A bit on the pricey side, but would eat here again!

Great food here. Sandwiches are all "preset" so you don't choose your toppings like at Subway or Mr. Sub, but even though this is a take out restaurant the food quality is that of a sit down, high quality restaurant. Really great food and friendly staff. The "10-12 Welcome to the Firehouse!" greeting is fun too.

Pretty good place, found it by accident with my father while dropping off my car for repairs near by. Very friendly staff, answered my 100 hot sauce questions with a genuine smile. Food was actually VERY good, they clearly know what they are doing.

This was my first time at the location and I am blown away! Not only was the restaurant clean, but the staff were so polite and welcoming. There was a manager there who, if I recall correctly, was named James (I assume he was part of the management team) was training a staff member on cash and he was so kind to her. I am so impressed with every interaction and will continue to support this location!

I was extremely disappointed with this place. They weren't offering the rueben sub (yet the poster was still in the window). I got a different sub. I noticed that there was no cheese on it. I told a staff member who said that the cheese probably melted into the bu., because they steam the dubs. I knew that was B.S. But she was being so stubborn that I gave up. I don't recommend them, certainly NOT this store!

Wasn't sure what to expect but quite impressed by what I saw. Large, bright and clean place and equipped for lunch rush (lots of equipment and staff). I'm not sure how they perform during busy times, however as I went in the quiet evening. Would be nice to see a good veggie option (rather than just your reg toppings on a bun) and/or a vegan option.

These subs are so good! The meat is so fresh and flavorful. Nothing like Subway or Quiznos. They are more expensive but worth the cost. Plus the restaurant donates to fire safety training. So you can't go wrong with that either!

Perhaps the best sandwiches that I ever tried! I have tried a variety of tasty Firehouse sandwiches from this location. With lots of quality meat, fresh ingredients and hot sauces, all steamed in a whole wheat bun to perfection! Staff are very caring, friendly and clean as well. A must try customer service, a must try sandwich!

I don't know how bread can be perfectly soft and crusty, and when it encases quite possibly the perfect toppings you quite possibly have the perfect sandwich... It also doesn't hurt that the Coke freestyle machine defaults to their signature Cherry Lime Coke.

I have never tried this place before so this was my first experience at firehouse subs. The place is huge and the atmosphere cozy with good view. Now on to the subs. The sub i got was pretty good i must say compared to subway and definitely better than Quiznos md MrSub. They have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Normally w large sub from subway i need a bottle of water because it is so dry no matter how much vegies and sauces i add to it. I finshed half of thr large sub from firehouse and didn't need to take a sip of water. Imagine a juicy sub lol that is pretty nice. Now the only mild issue is the price of the subs. My large sub w a bottle of water came to $17. I would say it is a bit pricey for a large sub. If they get deals going on like sub of the day or daily specials I might consider coming bk but for $15 plus is out of my budget.

The cheese slice on my sub today was paper thin! Do not cheapen things up EVER! Increase price instead. Cheapening things up will make this place just another submarine place like Subway and Quiznos.

Walked in, first impression is what a beautiful space, high ceilings, lots of natural light, very clean with firefighter artefacting throughout. Definitely recommend the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sandwich, the staff told us the brisket comes straight from Texas & is smoked 16 hours. Subway who?

My go-to every time is the sweet and spicy meatball sub, with a cherry limeade! If you’ve never had Firehouse Subs you have to try it. It’s definitely pricey, but it’s worth it.

When I get my G2 you're going to see me speeding down North Service to get my Smokehouse beef & Cheddar brisket after school. If you're used to eating S????️bway then Firehouse's price might catch you a little off guard, but hey it's quality over quantity for me.

If you think Subway is good, try this place. You will not be disappointed. Food is always delicious. They have never once got my order wrong and it's always consistently good. The seating area is spacious with a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, which is always a plus. There is also a hot sauce bar with different sauces varying degrees of spiciness. Staff is friendly and willing to help if it's your first visit.

Delicious subs with bread that is steamed. The sandwich tastes best in the first 5 minutes while the sandwich (and bread) is still warm. Friendly, welcoming service. The menu board is a bit misleading as they have a picture of the sandwich, drink, and side (chips) with the stated price. However, the price only includes the sandwich. Expect to pay ~$12-14 for a combo. From a taste perspective, definitely beats Subway, I would say a level better than Quizno's (both are located across the street), but from a value standpoint - Quizno's is still the best.

Probably the best of all the sub chains. Their bread is delicious, the toppings are fresh & tasty plus they have a great selection of hot sauces to add onto your sandwich. Combine that with a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine that has their own specialty cherry-lime soda (I forget what it’s called) and you’ve got a winner. The only reason that I can’t justify a fifth star is the lack of vegetarian options: you’re basically stuck with a cheese & veggie sub. Altogether yummy, nonetheless.

I've been coming here for months, pretty much since they opened up and the quality has never changed from 100%. The subs are always fresh and filling and I'm postively in love with the salads. They recently just started selling soups as well, perfect for the chilly weather. The prices might be considered a little expensive but no more than a place like Extreme Pita, where all your ingredients are fresh and the food is made exactly how you want. You can even round your order to the nearest dollar to donate to the charity they support. I've also had catering done and everything was still just as fresh. Lastly, the people who work there have the best understanding or customer service in the food industry that I've ever witnessed. I would continue going back there for the service alone.

The food is great but the service was terrible. Ordered 5 subs only received 4 and when we mentioned it to the server the manager can over demanded to see our receipt. When he looked at it and looked at our subs he pointed out that one was incorrect (bacon ranch instead of hook & ladder). After watching many people receive their food we finally got the 5th sub. We asked about fixing the incorrect one but the manager was rude and walked away from us. We will not be returning.

A friend told me about this place and let me start off by saying WOW. I've been there 3 times now and their subs taste so good! I recommend the Italian sub, the meat is such good quality and they put the perfect amount of sauce and meat. Also, the employees are very nice and I love how they bring the subs to your table and come over after to ask how everything is tasting. The Broccoli cheddar soup is amazing as well. This is my new favourite sub place now.

Fresh ingredients, good tasting subs, though I get the distinct impression that if I spent about 10 minutes in monastery and another 5 making it I could make something just as nice. They don't offer anything that special. I would definitely come here over subway and quiznos though. The slight price difference is definitely worth it. The hot sauce bar is nice. And the decor is really cool.

I came in with three others. We’ve all enjoyed firehouse subs in Oakville many time. Staff were all friendly. The new locations looks nice. The food quality however leaves something to be desired. The meet was all shredded for the beef brisket on the subs. The subs looked nothing like the pictures and that’s unfortunate as firehouse is usually really good for this. May give it a try in a few months but I hope to see better quality meat.

The subs here were amazing. The bread probably makes the most difference compared to other sandwich restaurants. The bread was fresh and soft, and the sub itself was very tasty and filling. The service is pretty quick too, and very considerate. They also have an assortment of hot sauces available ranging from 1 - 10, however even the hot sauce ranked a 10 was not too bad, and they mostly add some extra flavour. There were some flies in the store which was a bit annoying, and I would probably order to-go next time because of this, however it did not detract from the overall experience and could be an easy issue to rectify for the future!

Ordered a Meatball sub with Pepperoni but they forgot to include the Pepperoni. Sent an email with pics to their customer service and to my surprise, I got a call from the store and they offered me a combo to make up for it. Great customer service. Nice sandwich overall, but could have been much better. With sandwich called "Club Sub", the ham was well represented but the bacon was virtually absent. Two very thin strips. Couldn't tell it was there. At just over $9 for 8 inch sub, must do better.

This location used to be great when the family ran it. It was open late and the Subs were ways made 100% perfect. Now, hours have been cut to 9pm closing and don't even try walking in 5 min to close as they tell you they are closed and have everything cleaned. The Subs sometimes are missing condiments and the pickle you may or may not get. For the most part it's a great establishment. It's still my favorite place. But it has lost its charm it once had when it first opened. 3 Stars for the food. The missing stars for the hours open and hit and miss quality of Subs and Customer Service.

They have no selection here. Only two types of bread, two sauces, no tuna or avocados. When I got my sub it was close to empty inside. If you are a vegan... Don't come here. Your sub will be empty like mine was.

A very different experience in subs... Actually, subs is a misnomer.. they offer things like corned beef, pulled pork, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, all you can drink soda, and good meal deals. They really are a long way removed from a subway joint. You order your food, get a number, go get your drink and sit down.... They bring you the food when it's ready. Definitely a cut above.

I went here for the first time on Monday because I was recommended this place, and saw all of these positive reviews. It was phenomenal. Service and staff were great, and my Italian sub was incredible. Staff even checked on me to see if I liked the food. They will also say "Welcome to Firehouse" when one walks in. Amazing customer service. Overall, 5/5. I would come here more often if it was not too far from where I live.

First tried their subs in Pensacola Florida. I was impressed, as it wasn't a typical "subway" style. Now here in Oakville, it has become my go to sub place. It's clean, welcoming, and really good food. My favourite is the smoked beef brisket with cheddar cheese. It's not cheap, a large is $13.99 make it a combo and it hits just under $20. The soda (pop) machine is one that you can mix different flavours. Better than ordering a standard coke.

This place is pretty ridiculous. OK, the subs are very tasty, I agree. And I guess I'm willing to splurge every now-and-then on a super-expensive sub as a treat. But what REALLY irks me is the cost of their drinks, and most specifically THE PRICE OF THEIR BOTTLED WATER. It's actually MORE expensive than the cost of sugar/corn-syrup drinks. So this place that has a "firehall" theme to it actually encourages you to drink crappy fructose/glucose carbonated drinks, or pay over $3.00 (!!) for a small bottled water. And I mean *small*, the smallest one you can buy. I'm not naming names, but there's another restaurant just 2 doors down that sells the SAME brand of bottled water for half-price. So yeah, you get dinged pretty hard on the expensive sub, and they offer no end of hot-sauce to really ramp-up the heat, but lord help ya if you need some water to help cool that palate. Shameful.

I thought fast-food style sub shops were items of yesterday. Boy was I wrong. Bread is fresh, toppings are loaded, meats are delicious, and the sandwiches come really well together. I ordered online, and when I went to the store, my order was ready right on time. An employee there repeated my order to make sure it was correct (it was), but after I smelled the food, I didnt care; I would've eaten whatever I was given.

Top places for subs! They have a wide range of subs to choose from. They are pre-made subs, so they already come with toppings. However, they ask you if you if you want to add extra or exclude toppings. They have 2 sizes to choose from, Medium or Large. There is also a little hot sauce bar, and they rate/label the sauce based on their heat. My only issue is that there is only 1 pop machine if you order a fountain drink – so there can be a line up when filling up your drinks.

Firehouse Sub is without doubt "James Bond 007" version of the boring Subway and lame Qiznos Sub! I went there with my family, easy to find location, they have super friendly and attentive staff, they paid attention to details, and helped all the way to make our order fully personalized and suited to our taste. Their Brisket is just Mmmm yummy! kids loved it and we tried many types of their Speciality sauces as well. I tasted their 250,000 Scoville Unit sauce called Dave's Ultimate Insanity hot sauce and survived :) Their in-house hot sauce is perfectly balanced and I reccommnend that to try. It is conveniently located on Dorval Drive and North Service road, even closer to the QEW ramps. I will certainly visit again.

The best sub bread I have had so far. I ordered for a large sandwich and it came with a lot of stuffing. I could hardly finish the entire sandwich. And I've not had an issue to finish off an 11 inch subway in the past... The only issue I have is with the price. We spent 35$ for a 2 large Subs one of which was a combo. It could have been a little cheaper. But all in all I loved the food
