Lousy food. It tastes like bad hospital food. Its expensive and my mom hated it. Cheap containers that have a bad odor to them that goes on the food

My fiance and I tried Chef on the run for the first time today. We tried the lamb stew the seafood stuffed sole and the chicken a la king, all were very very good! The scalloped potatoes were also delicious, Oh and the cabbage rolls the pierogies and the pie too! We love the variety of different dishes, the fact they change the menu often makes it one of the few places you want to eat at over and over again. I tasted no resemblance to "hospital food " or odd taste from the packaging. A meal at quality foods is more expensive bad quality inconsistent and leaves us with a unhappy stomach (in comparison) All in all we were very pleased, an $11 tasty meal! Will be back tomorrow!

I first experienced their food when they opened a number of years ago, a couple of different dishes, and it was very good. However I just had their frozen fish pie and it was very disappointing; lots of diced carrots and peas, very little fish, and very bland... Perhaps it tastes better fresh...?

During a recent health crisis a caring relative had meals sent to us from this business and as much as we appreciated the gift we are advising her to not waste her money here. The food is bland, hospital cafeteria style with an odd chemical taste. After the second meal we realized the chemical taste comes from the foil container lid and we had to throw the entire meal out. Utter disappointment.

Thank you for the site I enjoyed the Turkey dinner, but you may check the cranberry sauce. I could not eat it, as there were some tough parts, and no taste, like too old. On another note I would like to see workers wearing hairnets, and caps. All the best I prefer to remain amorous

On two recent occasions our regular chef has unable to prepare our regular monthly meeting dinners and was unable to give us more than 24 hours notice of her incapacity. In spite of those facts, when I asked Chef on the Run for help, it provided help. It obtained the fresh cod fish we are accustomed to eating and prepared typical Norwegian meals for us. Our club members were delighted by their meals and very impressed by the quality of service provided. Chef on the Run warrants high accolades. quite tasty home style meals. a couple surprises ???? in the frozen dinner options, I would choose your own fresh meal and freeze it over the previously frozen. The Christmas meal was outstanding. Friendly and helpful staff Be careful with the parking lot, we got boxed in for 45 min.

I have been i customer for over 4 months and have been very satisfied except lately I notice that the meals are mainly filled with vegetables and starch while the the main item IE meat, fish is lacking. Case in point may Ginger beef meal only had 4 small pieces of meat

I used to be a regular customer when it was reasonable value but now not even 1 in 10 meals are palatable. Everything is bland and tasteless, probably because Sisco delivers several times a week here. The price has gone up but the portions have gone down....The meatballs are now one bite size...half the size they were plus its the cheapest mince full of bone and gristle....You will also be lucky to find more than 2 of the tiniest pieces of chicken in the "chow mein". Although it is convenient and the staff friendly, I will be taking my custom elsewhere....I think the fact that the only review on their website comes from a guy on here called Robert....He posted that review 6 years ago....That says it all for me...I don't like to give a negative review but one has been well earned here.

My daughter purchased your turkey Christmas dinner for me, it arrived frozen a few days ago. We just video visited while we had dinner, mine was awesome..huge portion so I have more than one lovely meal, everything was delicious..the wonderful cookies..one complaint, they did not last until Christmas..LOL. I will certainly use your services again..

I'm going to give these guys Five Stars based on the attitude of the lady I spoke to on the phone. I live in the Okanagan but my mother lives near this place in Victoria. She's 83 and I want to send her meals once in awhile so she can go do what she likes instead with her time. On the website there is lots of variety and healthy well-thought out meals. The lady there told me they've been in business for 40 years. Frankly when I was done on the website I was pretty hungry LOL. Happy New Year's
