Probably the best option in Iqaluit. A bit over priced but the food is good. Dinner portions are small, breakfast portions are good. The staff is friendly but service mediocre. They are consistent with the same experience everytime I visit.

I have been here many many MANY times over the last 4-years, and each time the quality keeps slipping; arctic char constantly being WAY over cooked (steamed/boiled), during my recent visit the soup was served below room temperature, and my tepid pot of tea was not refilled, nor was I asked if I needed anything ... like some hot water. For the price one pays for meals here, I expect better the uncooked fish skin! Even though I am not paying for my meals, I will not be returning here!

The Frob has a great selection of varied dishes including vegetarian options. The staff are friendly and professional. Many of them speak at least French and English. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere and stylish decor. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Really one of the best hotel restaurants I've visited.

What a disappointment...both parties ordered the honey garlic spare ribs...at $28 for just the meat , one would think you would get what was ordered. Both orders had no hint of honey garlic, it was clearly only a dry rub, and they were dry dry dry, complaining to our server brought no resolution, so we left hungry and with a bill that had no reduction of price, I rarely , rarely post a negative review , but this was absolutely not acceptable. I am still in shock that the ribs were not replaced, and that nothing was done. Most of our main meal , the ribs , at $28 each was sent back. Apologies from the server. Nothing else. Ludicrous. If this was in the South, your business would be in a rapid decline . I really want to post my receipt , but there doesn’t appear to be that option .
