Still my favourite pizza place - we have to go every time we visit North Bay! It's very homey, sometimes loud, sometimes packed to the rafters with customers, but always worth it. They have a great selection of specialty pizzas - the Mexican is our favourite. Great caesar salad and cheesey garlic bread, and the pasta dishes look tasty and generous. The service is always friendly and prompt. Prices are reasonable. They are licensed and have a nice selection of local beer.

It was terrible the crust tasted like something you get from Walmart and the chicken was boiled how hard is it to grill a chicken breast and put it on a pizza anyways it was pretty brutal and all 3 of us said same thing. Pizza pizza would have been better lol try at your own risk haha

Checked into Homewood Suites, traveling from Tiny to Temagami and looked for close restaurants/takeout. 240 metre walk, friendly staff on the phone; while waiting outside talking to 3 other customers...'best pizza in town.' Large Hawaiian pizza LOADED with cheese (not extra, that's how it came) and delicious. Totally recommend you give it a try- I'll be back.

Great homemade pasta! Any time I am in North Bay I get dinner here. They make excellent pasta full of cheese! What can possibly be better then cheeese! Only complaint I have is that the butter is often melted by the time you get it home so be careful when opening them or you will be wearing it. Have done this on more than one occassion sadly.

I am dreaming of their Mexican pizza...the thick cornmeal crust...drooooool. I was up in North Bay for work for someone had recommended Greco's pizza. I ordered a small Mexican pizza and Greek salad to for takeout. They had an area for takeout, separated from the dining area. I took the food back to my hotel and devoured it. The ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The small pizza and salad were quite filling, and I ended up having some left over for a snack later. I find that so many places put too much emphasis on pizza toppings, and forget that pizza crust is half the pizza. Outside of Windsor, I find it hard to find a good thick crust pizza. Greco's has one of the best though! I only wish I was in North Bay for longer so that I could try more things on their menu. I cannot wait to come back one day.

I've been going to Greco's for years. I've always recommended it to new people visiting or re-locating to North Bay. There pizza is delicious but some things have changed. Today (Saturday, February1), we had a " bad" experience at Greco's. My family (3 of us) went to Greco's for lunch. We arrived shortly after 1pm. We ordered two pizzas, one garlic bread and a pasta dish. Our food arrived 20 mins later which was reasonable for lunch service, however the pasta dish was not the right order. I told the server that the dish was not what I ordered and the server said they'd have the correct one made in a few minutes. 20 more minutes went by. I encouraged the rest of my family to eat because their food was getting cold at this point. We didn't have anyone check in with us during that time. My pasta arrived (with an apology from the server). I ate a bite of it and decided to take it home because everyone was done eating their food. We thought it was fair to ask that the price of the pasta dish be removed from the bill since it was initially incorrect and brought back out correctly 20 minutes later after the rest of the table had already eaten their lunch. We asked the server if we could speak with the manager which the server politely agreed to. The manager came out from the back asking "what table?". The manager was already visibly annoyed. My husband kindly explained the situation and asked if we could have the pasta dish removed from the bill. The manager was not apologetic at all and rudely offered us a 10% discount. We explained ourselves again and the manager said she could offer a 13% discount then. The manager said that at least we didn't have to pay for the wrong order, as if that was a favour to us. I explained that I could give the pasta back if that made a difference. The manager mumbled a few things than walked away saying, "fine, I'll take it off the bill". There was no apology for the error. Sadly, this was never about money but it was and is about customer service. We left paying our $65 bill after a terrible lunch experience, but an even more terrible customer service experience. As a fellow business owner, I can't imagine having a manager with this kind of unproffesional attitude working in a customer service establishment. I will never go back to the Algonquin location. Side note: It was explained to us by restaurant staff that when Greco's makes a food error, their policy is that they will offer a 10% discount (if requested). If you're average table lunch cost is $100 , they're basically saying that food errors, extremely poor customer service, and not being able to enjoy your meal with your family is only worth a reluctantly approved $10 credit (and a very bad attitude from management).

Pizza was hand cooked and you get lots for the price all the ingredients taste fresh and the cheese is a unique take on the classic ( atleast the pizza we got) I wasnt to wild for the pasta but for a half serving they give plenty, overall was a great pizza experience and definitely would come back to try other menu items!

The tray cart dolly (for dirty dishes)in the dining room scores low on the cleanliness count. The cart was filthy, and eating beside a bin of dirty dishes took away from the nice family atmosphere they have created.

This is my first 1 star review ever. Ordered a pizza and a garlic bread stick for 40$. It took 2hours for it to arrive, but this was not the main issue. The garlic bread was a saggy sub bread with cheese on it and no garlic at all. The pizza was also very saggy, with uncooked pepperoni. A frozen pizza would have tested better. This is by far the worst pizza from a restaurent I ever had.

Normally, when I order from Grecos, their food is always good and their service is great. Today I ordered a pizza and it showed up undercooked and wet. Now I understand these are hard times for everyone, but to send out and undercooked pizza and charge almost 40 dollars for it? Well to me that's unacceptable. Now when I called they were friendly and issued me a full refund but I feel it's necessary to share my experience and if I ever do decide to order from them again, I might change my review.

Well if you haven't tried it, you won't regret ordering. A bit more expensive but well worth it. I absolutely love the Alfredo pasta and my wife loves the meaty marinara. We love their pizza more then any other but the pasta is so good that is always what we get. Easiest way to put it, Mmmmmmmmm!

This is a staple of North Bay and one of the best pizza places in the city. Really great pizza and decent craft beers on tap here as well as great service. The pizza is a bit more expensive than the corporate pizza shops but you definitely get what you pay for. If you're at home and you order delivery you can expect to wait roughly an hour as it's almost always busy, and you should reserve a table if you're hoping to get in at dinner as it's not a huge place and it is almost always busy. If you've never been here and you're looking for great pizza, you have to try this place.

We came from Toronto for a visit and decided to step in. Such an incredible experience of tasting different kids of pizzas & desserts. Very well done! Friendly service. Our wait time was decent (about 10 min during rush hour). We would definitely recommend this place to our friends. Keep on doing a great job!

After a treacherous journey from Tiny, ON. to the BAY we reached Greccos. Absolutely starving we ordered A LOT. We started with meatballs and caesar salad which was subpar, the meatballs should have been made from scratch but the salad was good. The garlic bread was NOT what we were expecting: decent and manageable but not what we were hoping for. Now onto the Zaaaaa... making it quick and simple, a solid 3/5. Blue cheese on the side for dippin' made it even better. The pizza got the job done, was decent, but nothing TOO special. Waitress was kind and provided good service though so no complaints there.

First and Last time. Never ordered from there and decided to try for basically a undercooked microwaved looking thing . It looked like Pre-cooked crust, with sauce, cheese, pre-cooked toppings put in a oven for 5 mins and sent on its way. When most people think bacon they think bacon. We got shredded ham. And I quote the dits over the phone "People who order from us know what our bacon is" XD ok there. Good luck finding new customers. I would of wrote a better review if the ladies over the phone didn't sound so snappy and rude. Actually no, they disgraced the name of bacon. So no good review.

I stopped in there this past Saturday evening at 11pm with my brother and a friend and ordered an unforgettable meal to go. Food was ready in less than 30 minutes and was ridiculously good. My partner (whose hometown is North Bay) told me we had to visit Greco's cause they have the best pizza ever. Can confirm it was the best. I was pleasantly surprised that there was vegan cheese available, and the crust and sauce were excellent too! Pictured is the greek pizza.

We were there for our son & future daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner September 28, 2018. The staff at the Algonquin Street restaurant were absolutely fantastic!!! We were a fairly large group of 18 people. Some with Gluten issues including myself. I have to tell you that I had the very best gluten free pizza ever that night. Everyone of our party had a variety of dishes and all sang your praises. Dessert!!! Gluten Free chocolate cheesecake! I am so sad it's all gone. lol. It was delicious. Thank you Stephanie, our server that evening...sorry I forget her name, kitchen staff. You helped make our son's wedding magical and......SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!

Always the Best food and service in North Bay. Their pizza is legendary in Northern Ontario, Try their double pepperoni pizza for a real treat. If you're into salad their Cheddar Bacon is a mammoth proportion very filling tasty low carb option. The best salad I've ever had.

So this was a hard review to give but I must say I was incredibly disappointed with the service. There was only 4 of us. The server refused to come to our table unless we flagged her down (except for the beginning of course where she took our order) and I’m not being petty we waited a good 45 minutes after she took our order before she even acknowledged us at all. This entire time we hadn’t received our food. I don’t know about you but 45 min is a long time to wait for 2 pizzas - we actually ended up waiting an hour for the pizzas. 2/5 stars On the plus side, the food was great (not excellent but pretty good) so that’s what saved them on this review. It always nice to get a great meal but service would have made this a 5 star review if they had done it well. 4/5 stars

We came all the way from Toronto to go to some museums, and we had planned to stop by Greco's Pizza for lunch. Although the parking lot was muddy and full of giant puddles, the restaurant was amazing. The waitress was probably the most kind person we've ever met. Our food was even better; I think it was 27$ for three pizzas and drinks. Not bad pricing! Some people may not like this type of restaurant, but it's their opinion. I say it's worth coming!

Pizza was unreal. Authentic dough cooked to perfection with proper toppings and cheese. The best pizza I've had that I can remember. Docking a star for the Greek salad. The container will filled to the brim with lettuce and a small amount of proper Greek salad ingredients. I'd really just rather pay the same for a smaller container, and cut the lettuce. Lettuce just ruins the whole point of ordering a Greek salad.

Literally, I grew up on Greco’s Pizza. When my family operated the Lakeshore Esso, my Dad set up an account with them so we could always be fed great food when we were stuck working in his gas bar. When I moved to Toronto and grew homesick, I would drive almost 4 hours to North Bay just to have one of their pizzas and then turn around and go back to TO. Now, I live 5 hours away and plan my road trips to go through NB just so I can order an extra-large deluxe pizza. Started eating at Greco’s location on Lakeshore Dr. and then a more formal dining at downtown location in 1980. Every time I get back to North Bay it is a must stop. Lunch, dinner and breakfast, it is always so good. I have never heard a bad word about Greco’s by citizens in North Bay or former residents I met while in the Dominican Republic. You will not be disappointed with their Pizza, it is a unique treat.

One of the Best Pizza’a in town! We tried the Greek Pizza which comes with the Greek sauce and loads of toppings. You could customize your Pizza with your own choice of sauce and base. For us, we chose Garlic Butter sauce in thin crust base and it was Oh-So-Freaking-Yum!!???????? It’s located in the heart of downtown and does not have a patio seating. There maybe cheaper options, but if you want quality and an authentic great meal rather, do yourself a favour and try it.

well, to start let's talk about how the owner, rather than listen to the issue at hand with the food, instead spoke over the customer constantly, disputing and flat out telling the customer that I was wrong in all instances with the food. definitely not worth the $50 i paid for the food that was received. poor customer service skills, poor management. So, pizza was ordered. 2 mediums. The product that was given was of such low quality, I actually wish I’d just put frozen pizza in the oven and had that instead, I probably would’ve gotten a better quality and better tasting product. To start, the pizza was as thin as cardboard. No air in the dough (although an explanation was given for this). But, if you know there’s an issue, and expect to be busy, then proper preparation is in order. The pizza was also about half cooked. The dough was chewy ad gummy, with an unpleasant texture. The pepperoni was half cooked as it moved in toward the center at best, but almost raw at the very center and burnt on the edges. I’m not exactly sure how you manage this, but it was managed. The toppings were just heaped in the center, with no effort taken to spread them out at all. When I spoke to the woman who claimed she was the owner, all she wanted to do was give and make excuses, talk over me and generally try to sweep the problem under the carpet, so to speak. I tried several times to detail what was wrong, and every time I started speaking she would speak over me, giving excuses based on half the information provided. She offered a credit for the low quality product, which I did refuse as I don’t plan to ever patronize this establishment again. She offered to remake the food, but again…poor quality, poor presentation and the chances of yet another half raw pizza just did not appeal to me. Overall I am extremely disappointed. Grecos USED to be the best pizza in town. I should’ve gone to Toppers like I originally thought to do. I won’t make that mistake ever again. as an edit.....took a photo of the product. notice the RAW pepperoni in the center. guess the owner didn't care about that though.as she put it.....it happens

A North Bay landmark! Excellent Pizza with a crispy crust due to the use of cornmeal used on the pizza oven floor which gives a unique and wonderful texture to the crust. I ordered food last night for delivery, I'm really disappointed. Everything I ordered arrived cold. My nachos were soggy burnt and cold, my sandwich was made wrong and cold, and the family pizza I ordered was a little overcooked too yet cold when I got it. Cost $48.60 for cold and burnt food.. A turkey sub, cheese nachos and family pepperoni pizza. Not impressed period over priced and poorly made. So disappointed :(

GREAT homemade food, good prices, and staff are nice. If going on fridays or weekends, make a reservation. I'd suggest going on weekdays because it can get pretty busy on weekends, and the place is small so there isn't much privacy when it's packed. Edit (November 2, 2019): a friend and myself ordered a large pizza, buffalo chicken (the best pizza flavour here) on one half and Mexican on the other. The waitress came by with our pizza and said that the cooks accidentally got a bit of the ranch dressing on the Mexican half of the pizza. She said they insist on giving us another free pizza for that mistake. My friend and I checked the pizza, and there was barely any ranch dressing on the Mexican half, but they still wanted to give us a free pizza. The waitress also had amazing customer service, was very nice, and checked up on us a lot. It was great to leave with a free pizza! Also the cheese tortellini is amazing ???? Best pizza I've had!! Try the Buffalo Chicken pizza. AMAZING

My husband & I went to Grecos for dinner last night. The service was a little bit slow to begin with but we soon learned why. One of the servers had called in sick and they had a new computer system they were just getting to know. Anyhow, our server Brandy was excellent and the food was wonderful. We shared a small chef salad which was really tasty and then we shared a medium Traditional pizza which was excellent. We will definitely be back again and again I suspect!

As a North Bay native, my family and I have always loved Greco's pizza. However, we were shocked at the price of a recent take-out order from there; $97 for one large pizza, a medium gluten-free pizza, and two salads. As great as the food is, I've never in my life paid that price for similar items elsewhere. The next time we choose to order take-out, we'll definitely look at other options in town.

Ordered meatball sub end it was awful where did the meatballs go they were so small and is the bread gluten-free now to actually order to meatball subs want to eat there and one to take home. My son had a pepperoni pizza The pepperonis are now gluten-free why not everyone has that problem I asked the hostess and she said you guys were trying to be healthier but then you served at a customer iceberg lettuce for salad iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value the meatballs were really small we only go to Northbay once a year to put flowers on my mom's grave and we go to Greco's for lunch or dinner I was very disappointed yesterday just thought you should now go back to your original recipe don't mess with your food it's your signature by the way the staff were awesome

I have been here many times and it had been one of my favourite places to go in North Bay. Good food, service was usually okay, a little small for a dining room but the food made up for it. I even often ordered for pick up and always ordered the full size orders to keep for left overs. My recent visit a few days ago left me very disappointed. Before going into extreme detail the long story short for those just looking for reviews is - We were rotated between 3 different servers in the maybe hour and a half we were there. My Lasagna was served cold and I was just simply asked do you want us to reheat that one or wait for a new one? Orders were placed separately instead of together as originally requested then had to be changed. Best part was being charged full price for everything after all the trouble we had to go through. Now the Long story - My niece and I went for dinner were given our menus and a few minutes later the male server came with our drinks and we placed our order of Alfredo and Lasagna. Our food came quickly which was great since we were on a tight schedule. Our male server said he was leaving and someone else would be taking care of us at this point. My niece having the Alfredo her food was very hot you could see the steam however my Lasagna was quite cold - so cold that even pulling the cheese back off the top you couldn't see any steam at all. The outside edges were slightly warm but inside it wasn't warm at all. The other concern was that we had been rotated between 3 different servers - the original server left, one of the servers the one I had advised my food was very cold to the point I wasn't able to eat it. Apologized and left with the plate then came back about 5-10 minute later asking it I wanted to wait for a whole new lasagna or have her just reheat that one. I truthfully didn't want it back at all but I said had lost my appetite and would be fine if she could just pack that up to go. Since I don't like wasting food.Then we had another server entirely who came back with the bag - apologized again then left. By this time my niece was finished her meal and we simply sat there and waited for 15-20 minutes for the second server to come back to ask us - "is this all together?" I told her it was. Another 5 minutes later the third server comes back with two receipts... again I advised this server that I had told the other it was all together. She then had to go off to find the other server... In the end I was charged full price for everything. I apologize for the length of the review and I don't often go out of the way to review things. However I wanted to express my disappointment and that I will definitely be thinking twice before going back or bring anyone there.

The garlic bread was loaded with cheese and they used fresh cherry tomatoes and fresh zucchini on the gourmet pizza. Greco's makes consistently excellent salads, fresh pasta on site, and what many would say is the best pizza I'm town. ( This may not be Brooklyn, but we do have 2 or 3 strong contenders.) Greco's is known for a slightly thick sourdough made in store, cooked in a proper brick oven, and generously topped. The surprise Mexican fare is made with the same attention to freshness and flavour that the Italian fare is; there is not a bad dish on the menu. Liquor licensed. Table service and Home Delivery.

The food continues to be excellent - 5 star excellent- but the building is in disrepair. The bathroom was dirty and the fan was falling out of a very stained ceiling. The restaurant area needs to be washed ceiling to floor, a fresh coat of paint and new benches that are not shredding apart.

I dont know how theres so many good reviews for grecos.. We tried this place last night, and our toppings weren't even cooked. They basically made a cheese pizza, and after it came out, they threw loose uncooked toppings on it to get it out the door. I also didnt know that "pineapples on half" meant the whole pizza except one piece.. We had to throw the slices in the microwave to even warm them up, and the "thick crust" that we chose, was very thin.. Maybe it was a new employee? An employee getting ready to quit? ..I dunno, but we'll go anywhere BUT grecos now. Cheers!

I grew up in North bay and still get cravings for grecos pizza or their quesadillas with fresh salsa. I never miss a chance to go to grecos if I'm passing through the Bay. It's my #1 must have....ALWAYS delicious, service is great and the atmosphere isn't perfect by any means but brings back so many memories from high school and beyond. After all these years it's so fun and comforting to stop in and know I'm getting the same food and service I used to. I LOVE GRECOS! ....and now my kids do too!

I am not sure how this pizza is rated as a 4*. The pizza was mediocre at best. Visiting from Ottawa and very disappointed. Either this place was having a bad night, or the reviews are not accurate. Ordered The Deluxe and The Meat. In both pizzas the crust was hard and dry and the toppings were over cooked. I have had Delissio Pizza’s that were better then this. Again, hopefully it was a bad night.

Well i guess there are bad days. Had delivery. It was about 15 min later than the 60 to 75 min we were told. Our salads were great but my wife's quesadilla was just warm and my "garlic" bread was boarder line disgusting. Barely warm, you could lift the cheese off only to find wet soggy bread crust, and I have no idea were the garlic was. Great homemade pasta! Any time I am in North Bay I get dinner here. They make excellent pasta full of cheese! What can possibly be better then cheeese! Only complaint I have is that the butter is often melted by the time you get it home so be careful when opening them or you will be wearing it. Have done this on more than one occassion sadly.

Once again they got my order wrong. I orderd 3 subs . One asserted on brown it came on white with no veggies... One turkey sub on brown.. it came white and I asked for o tomatoes due to an allergy and I got extra tomatoes.. A lot of businesses claim that when your there your family, but at Greco's Pizza it's actually the truth. I have made friends with the staff at Greco's they are so friendly, courteous, polite, and they make you feel so welcome every time you walk in the door. Also Greco's supports lots of charities, little league teams, and other non-profit organizations in North Bay. Just walk and take a look at their wall of people they have helped in our community. There food is great as well! So tasty, hot, fresh, well made, and delicious. Alot of times I go into Greco's my takeout food comes up, and I am having such a good time socializing with their awesome staff that I don't leave. I love Greco's and you will too I guarantee it! :)

Only eat in. From what I can tell, this place has two separate kitchens or something, one for delivery and one for in-house food. My partner went there with their friends and had a wonderful time. Meanwhile, I at home decided to order out at the same location for ASAP delivery. They got their food hot and had a leisurely dining experience, no complaints. Meanwhile, I spent an hour and 45 minutes waiting on a delivery from a kitchen less than 5 minutes away by foot. When I finally got my pizza in my hands it was somehow both overcooked and stone cold. My partner got home not ten minutes later with some leftover pesto pizza, and tasting the two side by side is crazy. I straight up can't believe they were made in the same kitchen at the same time. They give 4 stars, I give 1, so that's a 2/5 for you, Greco's.

There was a period about a year or so ago when I had the gourmet pizza (which was always my favourite) twice within a couple months. It was not nearly as good as usual ~ crust seemed tasteless, no spices sprinkled on top, just bland. My experience was not unique. A family member always ordered the gourmet pizza whenever he visited from Toronto. He, too, was disappointed twice. BUT, I'm glad to say that I was there this week and the food was fantastic so it seems like whatever problems they may have been experiencing have been resolved. A friend, however was disappointed to learn that the vegetarian pizza is not really vegetarian. They use lard in the crust instead of shortening.

Travelling through North Bay, and decided to try Greco's. We were quoted 45 minutes to an hour for delivery, the food was here in about 30 minutes. Had to call back because they forgot to put the bacon and chicken on the salad, we were expecting them to send over a package with just the meat, but they sent a whole new salad, and it was here within 20 minutes! All of the food was phenomenal, and for the price we paid, the pizza toppings were mountainous, and the portions were HUGE! Had we ordered from somewhere else, it'd have cost us twice as much, for half the food!

Use to be our go to pizza joint, but recently we have been denied service (delivery) due to our location (Ferris), even though we had just ordered there five days prior. We were told to call the Lakeshore location, which is no where close to the same standard. For years we have driven past the Lakeshore location to dine at the Algonquin location and yet they can not provide me with the same courtesy. Never again will I dine or recommend this location. I ordered the Cajun pasta. What an utter disappointment. It was plain pasta in olive oil with some veg, the Cajun spice was a small container of red pepper flakes, that's it. That is not Cajun, that is red pepper flakes. It was one of the worst meals I've had in North Bay. FYI: basic Cajun spice has onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, thyme, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. I've never posted a review for a restaurant before but it was so bad I had to make this post.

We ordered appetizers for dinner tonight. We got garlic bread from Grecos. The pictures look better than what it actually looked like. The bread is a giant loaf, uncut, looks like the butter was slathered over the top and cheese on top, rolled in foil and heated. When we unwrapped it was soggy, the foil was stuck in the cheese. You can actually see the water on the bread. When I called I was told that this is how it came. She argued that it was sliced, and that this is how it came. I told her I would be glad to send her pictures or bring it back to show her how disgusting this is. She asked if we wanted cheesy flat bread. I asked how much the garlic bread was she said $7. When I asked how much the flat bread was she said it didn’t matter I wouldn’t be paying for it. It’s unfortunate because I loved Grecos. But will probably never order there again after this customer service.

Ordered online a family pizza / two assorted subs(for my boys) 60 bucks. Said delivery would be about an hour. Called after that time had passed knowing it's family day probably busy. They said it was going to be out for delivery in five minutes. Another hour later our order shows up.. The kicker is I was very specific about the subs as my little guys hate tomato and onions. When they showed up it was extra lettuce / tomatos / sub sauce on both subs.. I got a couple hangry kids and a couple upset parents. When you guys usually get it right, tonight was brutally wrong. Pretty inconsistent pizza also , I love the pizza but when I ask to cook it longer or extra crispy it shows up not even close to what I requested. Why have extra instructions if you don't follow them??
