They are reactive rather than proactive. They only answer the questions you ask, but do not offer any information unless a direct question is asked. The contract does not protect you or them. If Covid happens - like it did to us - they tell you what they will offer you even though legally thats not allowed.
The day before your wedding they will tear up the plans and vision you had created and tell you that no longer works because they booked another wedding on that day. Then not want to set up your 2nd option because “that’s a lot of work” until you fight hard enough. Since it won’t be how you originally wanted or discussed your photos will be a reminder of the hell they put you through.
On the wedding day they will serve you the wrong drinks, and serve the vegans bacon, but the orders they get right will be delicious. They will tell you they can play music but only fix their speakers to hook up music after your guests complain to them.
Yes - we had a wedding during Covid. We never expected this would be the world we are living in and never planned for these extreme circumstances. But covid is no excuse to treat any customers the way we were treated.
Booking this venue is the biggest mistake I’ve made...I hope we are the only ones they treated this way
