We were visiting from out of town and after a last minute change in plans these guys got 8 of us in, 4 adults, 4 kids, for dinner. Our server Alyssa (sp?) was amazing, service was fast, she was knowledgeable and made great recommendations and was great with the kids. We happen to be there for tapas night which turned out to be awesome, got to try lots of options which were all mini versions of the main menu items, and everything was fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit to Niagara Falls so we can visit Johnny Rocco's again!

Went here for lunch with my husband. He had apple pecan salad (added shrimp) and i had the baked chicken penne. My husband really enjoyed the goat cheese dip appetizer. The portions were very hearty and tasty. Our server was very nice and his service was exceptional. It was a quiet afternoon so the manager Mike popped in to check our meal. Was delish! Had only been here for dinner previously ???? have a good day

It's always a great dining experience here. The food portions are great and the price very reasonable. We always order the chicken tettrazini and the chicken parmesan. i would like to experiment with other products on the menu. The pizza i saw at the next table looked scrumptous. Middle of Winter on a Monday night, walked in and was seated right away. Service was quick and easy. Salad arrived within minutes of ordering and our meals followed shortly after we finished the salads. Main courses were also fresh and hot and very tasty. Prices were also reasonable, so all in all a very good dinner and would certainly recommend. I would return next time I'm in town. Thanks!

We love to go to Johnny Rocco's for lunch. Our recent visit was very enjoyable, great food, lots of wait staff on duty and they were kept on the run. Our waiter (Kelly) was very good. Highly recommend you visit this restaurant.

The food was great here but the front entrance into the restaurant gets stuck when anyone opens it so the dining room was fluctuating between cold and warm frequently, this made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Service was quick and good. Tables were not wiped after guests left but the dishes were taken away. It was 930pm so not sure as to why that happened. Overall a good experience.

Service was good but we were in the basement and it was super hot... Not sure what was up with the ac. Salmon in the salad was almost non existent. Food was ok... Wouldn't run back there any time soon.

This place is a true gem! So happy to have found Johnny Rocco's. I have ordered their large charcuterie platter, seafood platter and cannoli kit. The cannoli kit was soooo much fun! And the seafood platter was above and beyond what I imagined. It was packaged and delivered with such care on ice. My fiance's jaw dropped and he said "WOW!" when it arrived! Wish I had taken a picture at the time to show how beautiful it was!

Went for dinner for 30 minutes we watched six cooks stand around twirling tongs telling loud jokes we could hear everything. Very unprofessional in their kitchen. Food was mediocre at best this was our second time. Same thing twice as in the quality of food and the want to be comedians in the kitchen

They came, they saw, they Pizza'd. They sent their mobile truck to our film studio and despite the unco-operative weather they worked like a well olive oiled machine. They brought enough pizza to feed 3 film crews and their service was just like it is in their ristorantes. Exceptional. They can do a thin crust like no one else can. Grazie. Highly recommended for other film and television productions.

Food was great! Service needs work.. this doesn’t mean the servers were rude, they just took long to serve me. I walked in, no greeting... wasn’t sure if I should take my own seat or not so just waiting till I seen a server and asked.. he ignored me and I had to ask again. He says I’ll be with you in a moment.. 5 moments later he sends someone else to assist me and this new server gives me a booth and never comes back. In short, I never had a consistent server, whenever I needed something I had to ask, they didn’t check on me. They’re lucky the food was great!

ABSOLUTELY One time deal. High Price with Low end food. If you have other choice, do not come to this one. They gave me a spoon to eat my pasta, told me that they don’t have any fork. The waiter did not even gave us a plastic fork. Told waiter that the pasta is too salty ( the saltiest pasta we ever had). The waiter ignored us completely. Service was not friendly. Food were salty. Food portion is not very much. Sweet potato fries was less than 20 pieces. Signature Pizza was nothing special. We ordered 4 main courses. Very disappointed. The waiter recommended roasted potato. That was the only thing taste normal. Go to Boston Pizza or other restaurants. This place is NOT a good choice.

I am long overdue for leaving this note but Johnny Rocco's really delivered when they were called upon to take care of our hockey team and all their family members in June of this year. They assigned a team of service pro's led by Crystal, Matt, and Britt. We showed up and they had our seating ready almost immediately. Billing details were confirmed, drink orders were taken and delivered, and the food was then taken care of. Honestly, it was the best team meal service and quality I've seen in many, many years of traveling with teams to tournaments, etc. We did call ahead and I would highly recommend that to ANY group of 10 or more that expects to be taken care of well. Thank-You to this crew for taking care of us on this day. Beauty! Show less

This was a really authentic and cozy Italian atmosphere! The server was amazing and attentive. I had the bolognese penne and my dad had the chicken wings and a salad. The bolognese could have had more flavour but the portion size and garlic bread were fantastic. My dad's wings were really great and full of flavour the bread was crispy and delicious. I will definitely going back to try their lasagna which I've heard is their most popular dish!

Terrible service. Over 45mins for food to be served. Food was tasteless. Over 15mins to be handed the bill than another 15mins to actually pay. I gave up and ended up having to pay at the bar. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I was better off eating at McDonald's!!!!

Loved getting the family meal deal here, even with the price increase. We always get the chicken parmesan. Service has not been good lately. Multiple times items have been forgotten. I usually let it slide but I had enough of paying for items that are not received. We also wanted to try the rice balls as they have had good reviews. They were disgusting. Rice was not cooked. Missing item was delivered but found out that the delivery driver only got half of the tip I left (paid online). Seems to be a trend with restaurants. Will not be ordering from here for a while and encourage people, if possible, to not tip online and give the driver cash.

Incredibly disappointing. I never post reviews online, but we picked this place due to it's high rating and boy were we wrong. Every single member of my party was dissapointed in the appetizers, salad and especially the pasta / mains. Makes East Side Mario's taste like Nonnas home cooking. Will say the live music was fantastic. Very talented woman with an acoustic guitar. Edit** I see alot of people trashing the service on here. Absolutely no complaints about that. Server was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable of the menu and when she was busy other servers were checking in for her. But the food was still awful

They didn’t honour my reservations for 11 people, we got there early but we were okay with waiting until it was time for reservation at 9pm. 10 mins past our reservation, we were told that they’re not able to give us the spot that they reserved for us because the customers sitting there were not leaving. The server told us that the customers were sitting there for 3 hours and they weren’t allowed to ask them to leave. The manager said there was nothing she could do. I used to come here every year with my family from 2 hours away to celebrate my birthday at this location. After waiting for such a long time, we decided to leave. Bartenders are also snarky. I was leaving the washroom and totally forgot to put my mask on but when a server reminded me to put it on, i apologized and put it on immediately. This was followed by a bartender talking behind my back to another bartender saying “why cant you just have your mask on while walking, gosh” - to which i confronted her and she started lashing out on me. I would give this location 0/5 if i could.

Got chicken parmesan with their red sangeria. The sangeria tasted nore like juice then wine. Really underwhelming. The chicken parmesan was just boring. Overall it was ok but won't be going back.

Not authentic Italian, but not a bad try. Enjoyed the antipasto platter. Didn't really like the calamari. My chicken parmesan was amazing I must say, even without the mozzarella ( I asked for them not to put it on). My kids had the lobster ravioli and seafood linguini. They liked it but again, we've had much better. Nothing personal to this establishment, but I live minutes away from Vaughan, Ontario(Google it).. It's a highly intense Italian populated area with some of the best restaurants so I know my stuff. I will be returning when in the Niagara Falls again as the staff was super nice.

We love Olive garden and we didn't feel comfortable yet to cross the border to go there, we did oír research and saw this restaurant had a similar menu. Worse mistake ever! The food, specially the tomatoe base taste like canned food. And we did not like spending that kind of money for fake flavour food. Anyhow food was not the best. I am giving it 2 stars cause of the servers, all of them were very good, else I'd have given it - 2 stars (if I could). I do not recommend this place neither we'll go there in the future

Staff was great, the food was below standard. Myself, my father and my daughter went there on Fathers day and we all ordered different plates. The pene and sauce tasted like a Michilenas frozen microwave meal. The portions were way to small and lacked any real flavour. We learned the hard way why it was dead. I feel like it is a tourist trap. A quick cash grab with no return value.

I had Nonna's smashed meatball sandwich for lunch the other day. Homemade taste but I prefer my meatballs with more parsley in them. A little more mozzarella next time is always better too! I am admittedly a cheese addict though.... I liked the fact that our server left the parmesan cheese grater for my indulgence. Quick and friendly lunch service. My lunch guest enjoyed a trio that included Italian wedding soup, garlic bread and salad.

We love supporting local restaurant's vs the big franchise chains and decided to give Johnny Rocco's a try for the first time. We ordered several different dishes to share and try amongst the family of four (4). I must say all dishes were good but the service could have been a bit better. We had a waiterr named Ryan who was very kind but also very forgetful. We literally had to ask for things 3-4 times. To top it off, one of the waiters unfortunately smashed a glass bottle of sparkling water we ordered at our table. Once we finished dinner we figured we would end the night with some cappuccinos or espressos and dessert, after all its an Italian Eatery. The waiter seemed unaware and note sure how to make the drinks and asked who appeared to very a floor manager. The floor manager told us the machine was down today but it was working. They were just busy and made an excuse which was disappointing. I saw others with coffee and lates. And we heard her tell the waiter after that they're just to busy. We tried to spend more money and despite the service I still tipped 25% on the $210 bill close to $60. Don't judge your patrons and I am still giving a 4 star although a feel a 3 star is better suited due to lack of service.

My friend and I were very disappointed with our last visit to Johnny Rocco's. We could not get a cup of tea or a bowl of soup that was hot... sent it back and it was still not hot enough. The server had more excuses than I can imagine. The sm bruschetta bread was a joke.... Cheese on pizza dough with 4 cherry tomatoes that weren't even cooked and the basil was non existing. This use to be one of my favorite places to eat. NO MORE FOR ME!

So today was my first time trying Johnny Roccos. I called and just wanted to order pizza. The lady (Lindsey was her name) answered my call and was soooooo helpfull and friendly. I told her what I wanted and the amount of people I was feeding. She totally pulled through. My order was ready when they said it would be. I took back to my moms, and it smelt soo good the whole car ride home. We all ate and were so impressed with finding a amazing stone oven pizza. The sauce must be made from scratch because it was so flavorful and not acidy like most other places. I literally called back to say thanks for her recommendation because it made us so happy. You really got to try their take out. I will definitely be returning when im visiting my mom. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

My bride and I had our evening reception at this location on Sept 29, 2012, following our wedding, and it was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! We had 20 people or so in our party and EVERYONE LOVED IT! The food was EXCELLENT; they didn't try to limit our menu choices as another restaurant wanted to do when we were looking for a place to host our reception (hence we didn't go there), the staff friendly (no one tried to rush us) and engaging, the food served timely and hot, the setting very warm and inviting. And then we got the bill - AND.WE COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW LITTLE WE PAID, INCLUDING TIP! Thank you, Johnny Rocco's! You guys helped make a perfect day for my bride and I a perfect evening for all of us, and our guests too. We had a bad experience at this location and won’t be returning. Service was slow and inattentive despite there being very little people there. There was hair in one our entrees which was noticed a few bites in. They comped it (um... ok as it should be since it was barley eaten and had hair in it). The manager apologized but honestly didn’t seem that concerned or bothered. They offered to allow our party member to choose a new dish, but nobody ever came to take the order so we had to flag someone down. We ended up having to get it to go since everyone was done eating by then. We ordered wine which was never topped up. When the bill came our friend had been charged full price for her entree that they had to pack up because the service was so slow. We had to ask to have it removed. It was, but still no apology- the manager was too busy sitting on his phone. Obviously we will be taking our service elsewhere next time we want Italian food.

A kid sat us at the very back near the kitchen when the whole place had availability and we wanted the patio to begin with but was never asked. And that had many open seats btw. Then we waited for 20 mins and had many waitresses and employees walk by us, but was never asked if we wanted drinks or anything for that matter. The menu didn't have much variety as well as I just dont eat anything on that menu except spaghetti and meatballs. Unfortunately at this point we had enough and left. Forgot our phone, had to go back in and told the boy that sat us. But after he couldn't see it where we were sitting he looked at is and just said" I don't know". My GF has her phone linked to her watch so I had to tell the boy that we knew it was here and at that point the waitress that had collected the phone overheard us and gave us back the phone. Not a very good experience sorry.

Decided to try out this restaurant for the first time. The service was horrible, the manager was walking around making it very clear that she was in a bad mood, the food was not very good. My girlfriends pasta was cold by the time she got it. One of the waitresses made a comment while the lights were turned down, she said “we don’t get very many customers so we’re saving on hydro.” That is something you shouldn’t say to people eating at your restaurant. Definitely do not recommend eating here. There are other Italian restaurants right close by that are much better.

Took 20 minutes to even take our drinks, another 20 for them to arrive (nice warm beer mm), and another 35 for food...was not packed of guests.... Everyone around us was waiting as well, not just our table. Food is definitely not worth the price or wait times. Soggy nasty pizza. First and last time there. Will spend my money at much more consistent/better Italian restaurants of which Niagara has an abundant of. I guess a good spot for tourist or non picky locals but boy if you know how to eat and you're a local this is really sub par for Italian around these neck of the woods, big time.

I will start off by saying that the food is amazing but the reason why I am giving 3 stars is due to my online ordering experience. If you plan on ordering online please make sure you check with the restaurant first to make sure they have what you want. I placed an order on August 16th and then I was notified that one item was not available and was told to cancel and I would be refunded and today is September 14th and I still haven’t received my refund.

Come at 10pm total of 3 tables I would have been the forth, a kid came up and asked me for how many guests I replied, he walked away and we stood there. 10 minutes later another girl came over by then I already lose the mood for dine in, so I asked to take a look at the menu for take out. Guess what 5 minutes later we decided the girl isn't taking any order, instructed us to go to through the take out door, so another 15 minutes we stood there. First time eating here. Ambience is nice. Open kitchen area and open wood oven. Preston was our server and absolutely went above and beyond. Appetizer was great. The kitchen made an adjustment for me with my entree because of dietary restrictions without issue. Main bathrooms are on a lower level but they also have an accessible bathroom on the main floor. There is a bar area and a patio as well. The portions were large and Preston was great at making suggestions. Will definitley be returning .

Seating was awful. They sat us right at the door in a makeshift table that was sitting in the entry way to the outdoor patio that was closed. The flooring was greasy and the people waiting at the door to be seated were literally rubbing up against our chairs. We asked for new seats but they. Wouldn't so we left.

Johnny Roccos sets the bar for interior layout for a restaurant of this type. The wood fired pizza oven is a design feature showcase style which gives the dining room a unique ambiance. The kitchen is encased in glass giving the establishment a modern appearance in todays food sevice market. The staff is friendly and warm. The food is traditional Italian and tasty. This is one of my family's favorites.

Very simple ! Service is terrible ,no organization and all they can do around the back kitchen area is discuss the screw ups that they are making . Even saw the "manager" Jackie I think was her name go and apologize to a table of 8 several times . No one had a clue who was looking after what tables . The other 5 people who came from out of town with me said they would never go back !! Wow what an embarrassment . This isn't the first time , and it will be my last time as well. Your management/owners really need to manage the whole restaurant alot better. And mention to your waiting staff to not smirk at the guests in the restaurant as to make fun of them for complaining in plain few of other people . Even leaving the restaurant the tables were all jammed together right in the entrance so we had to squeeze by everyone . And the rest of the restaurant had empty spots . Truly disappointing !

Ordered a veggie pizza tonight just before closing. We come from Fort Erie just to get their pizza ! When we get it, we take it home for late night treat. Even two hours later the pizza still looks , smells and taste like a masterpiece!!! All we do is just reheat it at 450 for a few minutes and we’re back at Johnny Roccos!! This was the most disheartening description of an experience that I can describe. On October 18, 2021, at 5:21 PM. I had entered Johnny Rocco‘s driving from Hamilton as I was celebrating my birthday dinner with my fiancé and me on such a memorable day. I had called ahead to make sure there was room in space for me and my partner. Upon arrival, neither my partner nor I was greeted. I pulled out my vaccination status card and said we were vaccinated - asking if they would like to see it. Afterwards, One of the female hostesses inside - then seated us to a table directly in front of the pizza-making station. We sat down; we were not greeted nor serviced of water for 10 minutes. However, I would have no problem with that if the restaurant was busy. However, that was not the case; the restaurant was docile. Having had experience working in the service industry and as a business owner, I know what a manager looks like. I had asked a female wearing an A plaid shirt with a black shirt underneath with medium-length hair if she was a manager since she was working on her laptop and speaking with the employees. She responded, “yes,” I asked her if she had seen my fiancé and me sitting behind her and having no server greet us. Her response was, “yes, I did,” and she continued to turn around to do her “work”( socializing with other workers as the conversation was obvious, as I was directly behind her). I responded that no one had come to our table even to greet us or offer us water. I was concerned because if I was visible, why hadn’t anyone come to us. There were no apologies; she turned around and continued her conversations with the employees. I felt so less than that. Her response may have been an indication Of her idea that perhaps we couldn’t, or I couldn’t afford a meal at said Johnny Roccos. I saw both managers had walked past me, another who was wearing a long cardigan, and she also had medium-length hair. Neither one came to my table to apologize for my experience, something that a manager should do; however, not once did they do that. The only person that apologized was the server himself, Preston. If this represents how management deals with customers at Johnny Rocco‘s, it is a sorrowful day. Gracefully enough, we had a fantastic server who tried to rectify the matter. His name was Preston, and I must say he is a gem at Johnny Rocco‘s. He had tried his best to make me feel comfortable on my special day, in which I got calamari and water. My experience was so bad at Johnny Rocco‘s in Niagara Falls that I did not feel comfortable eating food nor even sitting inside the restaurant any longer. No paying customer should ever feel like that, especially when it comes to a place of food and comfort such as Johnny Roccos, which strives to be a place as such. I will also be contacting the 43North restaurant group, which owns and operates Johnny Roccos. As a business owner myself, this is very concerning because these are the people that represent the corporation and the franchise; as someone who has never been to this restaurant before, this has left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that I left the restaurant shocked and bewildered by the treatment. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anybody by any means, only due to poor management.

My husband and I make it a point twice a year when we visit Niagara Falls to have dinner at Johnny Rocco's. We have never had a bad experience until this time. Our server, Baylee, was on the ball. She was working hard but had many tables to manage. Our wine took over 20 minutes before it arrived to our table. This was the bartender's responsibility, not our servers. Our app came before our wine and when the wine arrived it was really warm. (We ordered a bottle of white). Our caprese salad was really warm too which was making me think their fridge was not working. When we told them our wine was warm, they brought out an ice bucket which was not going to magically cool off our wine while we there. When we mentioned this to our server, she sent the manager out. The manager, I believe Matt was his name, was the most awkward person and did not suit the role of the manager. He didn't apologize and said if we save room for dessert, he will take care of it. Lame! Our mains came to our table almost an hour later. The mushroom ravioli literally tasted like it came out of a can. Not the food and service we have always experienced for many years. We were seated on the patio, and 4 other tables had complaints of some sort or another. And again, the manager did NOTHING. Definitely will not return again!! Save yourself the hassle and these reviews of 5 star are not legitimate as their new staff is awful.

Ordered the gluten free pizza. The dough had no flavor. When I told the server, the server already knew and acknowleged that the gluten free dough is terrible and that it's been an issue for awhile. The tomato sauce tastes like it's right out of an MRE. We had a surprise 70th birthday party at the Niagara Falls location in the downstairs room. Dan made the initial arrangements for our party and was so accommodating and easy going whereas other restaurants seemed to be more interested in our money, Dan showed a genuine interest in our needs. Melissa and Sam were our servers and we couldn't have asked for a better duo. Social, personable, and remembered our guests by name. we were so happy with the service and had many compliments from our guests. Food was also great. We would highly recommend the Niagara Falls location for hosting parties. The room was also a perfect quant feel for our 53 guests. Very happy with our experience .

Johnny Rocco's is a great restaurant at the corner of Dorchester and Lindy's Lane in Niagara Falls. The Italian cuisine is fabulous and they have a good well-priced wine selection and plenty of beer choices. One appetizer recommendation is "Zia's Rice Ball's" - they are to die for! With marinara sauce and fresh ground parm from your waiter/waitress! I also LOVE the Lobster Ravioli. It is truly amazing. All that and a nice intimate atmosphere too. Enjoy!

First time here ….. man O man … be careful ordering to many apps..they are big! Mains are also huge… ordered chicken Pene. This dish was really good , there were 4 of us and we all really Enjoyed our food. The outside patio is very nice. So much food … service was just ok …. Forgetful waiter. Had to ask for knives and forks twice after our mains were brought out . They didn’t enforce the mask rules when new customers came in to be seated or when visiting the rest rooms , which I found unsafe given the current climate.

I came here looking for good Italian restaurants in Niagara Falls on Thursday for early dinner and this one kept popping up so thought I'd try it. After standing and waiting for someone to take us to our table for 10 min when there was only one table being served inside we should have known what was to come. I was very disappointed by the quality of food after having such high expectations. I ordered the Arancini, mushroom ravioli, and a coke. Arancini were huge dry and bland. The mushroom ravioli was drowning in sauce that was probably some store bought basic sauce, overcooked that it had a slimy texture, and mushrooms inside the pasta were again bland and had a weird taste overall, I felt like I was tasting more sauce then pasta, which was not any better. Not worth the price we paid for both items. I am not sure maybe they had a different chef or they were having a bad day. Not impressed, best part of the meal was the coke, also our server was very nice and friendly but food quality was terrible especially having eaten these items at other restaurants in the past.

My meal wasn't made correctly and within 5 or so minutes they got me a new meal. Very apologetic and willing to do what it took to make it right. Great selection for kids as well. Paid less for dinner here than at outback with a coupon for $20 off! Will make a repeat visit the next time we are in the area!

Went for lunch with a friend on August 15th. Met at the door by a very friendly hostess who brought us to a booth and told us who our waitress would be. Small friendly conversation went on between the doorway and our boorh. Waitress came very promptly and again very friendly, bit of conversation went on. Asked us what we wanted to drink, gave us our menus, answered a few questions for us and left us alone until we decided what to eat. Came back and we both ordered different salads - amazing migjt I add. We were there for about 1. 5 hours. Great experience. Great pricies. Great staff. A taste nothing drinks that have been prepare without any inspiration in mind. Go eat at Jonny but never drink a mixed alcohol.

We ordered food directly from their website (instead of supporting skip the dishes) and our order which was made at 5:30, and 7pm delivery, didn't show up. Called the restaurant they said they were behind, understandable on valentines day, and it would be another 30-40mins. 40mins later we called the restaurant again, they said it just came out and they were on their way. 30 mins later we called again, and they said the food isn't ready they aren't sure how long it would take. At this point it's 9pm. We canceled our order and had to order fast food. Extremely disappointed in their communication. Do NOT lie to your customers. If they had told me the truth from the beginning, I could have ordered food elsewhere and not had to eat my dinner at 10pm, and no compensation of any kind was offered to us. Unacceptable customer service. I understand we are in a pandemic, it's valentines day and they are probably short staffed, but just be honest with your customers instead of repeatedly telling us our food is on it's way when it's not.

Visiting the Falls from Alabama and decided to try something different from the chains and the tourist trap, and we were very happy we did! Late lunch was fantastic, everyone was friendly, atmosphere was awesome and the food was unbelievable! Salads were fresh with great crisp lettuce and fresh ingredients and the Tuscan Chicken panino with sweet potato fries had the best combination of flavors. I definitely recommend for people looking to skip the tourist crap and get some real food!

The food was really good but yenno, it's a little bit hairy. But we are not complaining about the food, our complaint is about the service. Today, my friend and I decided to come here for dinner on the patio. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad with meatballs and a chicken Alfredo calzone. 3 bites into the calzone I noticed a long black and white hair baked into the meaty goodness. The server came for the check back and I immediately brought it to her attention. Her response, "I know who's hair that is". She then took the plate from me and walked back into the restaurant. Left us sitting there with no answer. When she returned she said, " don't worry, we're making you a new one, it shouldn't be too long" . The food came out 10 mins later, not bad, it was good, manager dropped it off and apologized. Server checked back, it was fine. However, at the end of the meal, she handed the bill with everything full price. Overall, the food was good, however, we feel that the situation should have been handled differently. Both my friend and I work in the service industry and we understand that things happen, it's inevitable. But the service didn't meet expectations. We were not trying to mooch for anything, but for a situation with HAIR in food. I think something should have been offered. Whether if be a free dessert or taking something off the bill. I understand if it was something like an over cooked steak that it wouldn't be discounted after being fixed.. But cmon this completely turned me off. And I wasn't offered a choice or anything before she decided to have my meal remade. What if I didn't want anything at all? What if I wanted a different meal? And it really sucks because we are locals and we won't be coming back here

Love Johnny Roccos and go to St. Catharines all the time. This was our first visit to this location. Unfortunately unlike St. Catharines you cannot make reservations at this location. Was here on Remembrance Day and had delicious food. I had a kale and quinoa salad my daughter had pizza and mussels and my other daughter had a grilled veggie panini. We were so full it was delicious. I can't remember our waiters name. But wow what a super cool dude. Just was so nice made us feel like we were at Nonna's house lol. We even signed up for our points card!!! Can't wait to go again. Have to mention in the summer the patio is so nice. My sister and I have the antipasto plate and some wine, and listen to th bands. Always fun and great time!!!! My sister had a wedding reception a good 9 years ago downstairs. Cheers!!!!!

Any average cook can make a pommo doro..This was served with no topping...i had to ask for chopped basil. Very very disappointed. I have no complaints with the service...This is a management issue. I am still hungry and now have to eat something else..Not a good sign.

We started doing Tapa Thursdays recently and started bringing friends - it's a great way to get a full belly with different bites of everything (there's also live music!). The Parmesan Chips are a favourite. Also their mixed drinks are great, best amaretto sour I've had. Thanks for a great time every time we visit!

Great Experience! Atmosphere: The patio was open and there was a live band playing, which was amazing. The patio was clean, great lighting after dark, and the inside decor is modern, nice and clean. Washrooms: despite being busy the washrooms were clean. Service: service was great. Our server Andrew was pleasant and on the ball, constantly checking on us. We Didn’t have to ask for anything, it was always looked after for us. Food: Excellent. The portions are perfect, even for the kids menu. The pasta sauce is fresh and flavourful. The calzone was incredibly delicious. My wife ordered the seafood pasta and it was delicious. Nothing disappointed us, including the Nutella pizza. They have their pizza dough really figured out at this place. Overall: great experience and highly recommended. This was our second time here and it was great during both visits.

Ambiance is lovely. They have a fantastic patio in the summer. The food - it's just ok. Nothing out of this world. Certainly doesn't taste like it came from a Nonna's kitchen. I have been at Johnny Rocco's two times now, one before quarantine and one quite recently. My first experience was great! The food tasted awesome and the place was kept clean! On the recent one I noticed the quality overall had changed quite a bit on the not-so-good side. I noticed cobwebs in the corners of the booths and the food was also not what it had been previously.

This was wonderful atmosphere food i had was good flavours on point server and manager were very friendly and good service need to work on their dessert menus a bit creme brûlée had no flavour too runny and no sugar crust caramelized even though i asked for it to be redone it still didnt have that sugar crust needed to make it a brûlée it came back no sugar crust and the dish was burned which gave it a burned flavour and aroma not sure if chef knows how to make one properly yet other than that it was perfect experience for my first time ????????

We went to Johnny Rocco's after 2 recommendations. We were celebrating a birthday. We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to a warm table on a very cold night. Our waitress, Crystal was outstanding! She offered suggestions with all our quests. The eggplant parmesan and chicken parmesan were delicious and plentiful, as was the pasta fagioli. We liked it that we could observe the kitchen and how clean it appeared. We met the manager, Mike, and had an interesting conversation, learning a lot about Niagara Falls and locals. We highly recommend Johnny Rocco's!

My family and i went really late at night. There weren't that many customers in the restaurant and we weren't too hungry. The waitor wasn't pushy on the minimum amount we had to order. The dishes were in quite large servings and were super tasty.

Terrible customer service. After we asked the waitress for our appetizers, she answered that we should have asked to have them served sooner. Only reason I went there was because of the high reviews. But unfortunately, I had a different experience. The service was poor, table was not cleared after each course, so I ended up clearing my own table (even though the restaurant was empty, only 2 other customers inside and 1 family in the patio). Despite so many employees floating around, no one noticed us. I was there with 3 kids and my sister, so we needed napkins, and dishes to be out of our way. The food was not all that! Spaghetti meat balls the sauce tasted like it wasn't cooked at all. Won't be visiting there again. Disappointed ???? only thing I liked was the girl who took our order very polite and apologized for our experience.

It came with a little bit of additional sauteed veggies on the side.. it was all very fresh and tasty.. great cut of steak and pasta was perfectly al dente. My gf had a sausage and peppers arrabattia. Since she's a veggie head, they swapped the sausage for more veggies no problem and it was amazing. Excellent service. The 4 stars is becasue the girls seated next to us found a dead fly in their salad and it made us nervously keep checking our food. The manager came promptly out to them and i know accidents happen because the place was very clean and the bathrooms were no different. Will definitely return

Ordered takeout there tonight, linguine Alfredo tasted like processed trash, the dog wouldn't even eat any of it. We ordered the Chicken Milano family bundle for pick up from the Niagara Falls location and I especially loved their Apple Pecan Salad. The Chicken Milano however was disappointing as we found a fly swimming in white sauce. After a few days later, I called again to order for pick up and requested to speak with the manager to make sure we don’t find another fly in our food. The best thing he could do for us, however, was sarcastically responding “Thanks for the feedback” instead of apologizing for the previous order. Didn’t even mention that he’d make sure nothing like that would happen again with our pending order. When we picked up the order, the guy/server who received the payment sarcastically said “Thanks for the tip” because we didn’t tip as they didn’t give a satisfactory service and it’s a pick up order. All he did was hand us the food at the counter and receive payment. He wasn’t friendly or warm. He seems miserable at what he does. What made him so entitled to think he deserved a tip? And with that attitude I feel great not leaving a penny for a tip. I’m never returning to this location as I’d rather spend my hard earned money in a restaurant that has the intention of not just making money but also providing good service. So much for courtesy and customer service eh?! ????

We started with Mussels in spicy Pomodoro sauce, very generous portion & very tasty. I had Sausage & peppers Arrabbiata. Absolutely delicious just the right amount of spice. The pasta & peppers were cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the way the sausage was cut into small pieces, best pasta I have ever had. My wife had the Gemelli Rustica full of shrimp & chicken. Orders taken and our lunches appeared quickly, so we enjoyed our Nonna's meatball with fries and the Chicken Milano. Highly recommend these specials. Tried this place again last night after my first experience of having metal brush shavings in my pasta.. The second time was with another group of 7 and we had to wait 45 minutes to just get our drinks. One person at my table didn't get her wine for over an hour! 2 hours later we still don't even have our meals and we ordered them with our drinks lol. The Managers excuse was that they were understaffed and the kitchen was backed up. Well if that is the case start turning people away at the door because this experience ruined our entire night. Everyone in the place was unhappy with the service. At hour 2 we just stood up and walked out as we were tired of waiting any longer. We went to dinner for 7pm to eat (latest) at 8pm. We left the restaurant at 9:40pm with no food in front of us. This place is a complete joke. If you want to go to a good johnny roccos go to the one on Glendale in St. Catharines. Please listen to me and STAY AWAY from the Niagara Falls location!

Really disappointed with the entire experience. Reviews said great so I ordered takeout. Worked out to about 30 for a decent sized pasta nothing huge. Ordered a Caesar salad but when looking at the menu didn’t see anything about bacon on it where it recommends to upgrade the side so I can’t eat that at all. We ordered takeout but no utensils at all. All restaurants around are closed so kinda out of options. Was really excited to have it and really dropped expectations. Truly disappointed.

Pretty good Italian food at a decent price. This place is somewhere that I recommend to tourists who want to go "where the locals go". This place has amazing food and is worth a visit. Best of all, it's mostly visited by locals so you won't be swamped by tourists. The interior is done up really nice and has very large windows and garage-style doors that open to let in a nice breeze during the summer months. The selection of wines is really nice and features a wide range of local wines that are actually very reasonably priced. All in all, during the busy tourist season, Johnny Rocco's makes a great alternative to Antica's, which is usually packed with tourists. Heck, even in the winter months Johnny Rocco's is a great place to go for lunch. Strongly recommend.

They haven't changed their recipes ( the old adage if it ain't broke don't fix it ) The prices are fair. The dining room is not fancy. And the womens bathroom is interesting. Although it does not have the aesthetics of a high end restaurant its comfortable and laid back. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The take out area is through a separate door and when you watch what the staff does to get your order ready and the way you want it you will be more than happy to give them a tip. They deserve it. All I can say is Thank you for some 20 plus years of tasty food

Despite the good reviews we didn’t care too much for Johnny Rocco’s. We ate lunch here in June and it was very hot inside. I think they just leave the doors open and leave the AC off? Whatever the reason, it was hot to the point of being pretty uncomfortable. The staff was friendly enough. We ordered shrimp kabobs for an appetizer but showed up halfway through our meals, we told them we didn’t want them and they were not put on our bill. Small parking lot! Decent outdoor eating space. Live music depending on when you go. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Visited recently for an anniversary dinner. I think we got there a little too early and the FOH almost seemed confused when we went in to get a table but no real inconvenience. (Called in advance and was told it was FCFS). We chose to sit on the patio to enjoy the weather. The patio set up is nice with the only downside being the traffic noise from the really busy intersection just outside. Our server was a little different than your usual overly cheery wait staff that you find at most restaurants. She had a good sense of humor and wasn't giving fake customer service (if that makes sense). It was nice to have someone real and down to earth serving us. The food was great! We had Calamari El Diavolo & Rice Balls to start and we each had a Calzone (Margherita & Sicilian) for our main. The Calamari was served on a sizzling platter which was a nice touch but also caused a few pieces to be overcooked a little. The hot sauce had a decent heat and flavour. The Rice balls are always a hit and you get 4 decent size balls on a plate of marinara sauce. The Calzones were amazing. You could taste the fresh ingredients and the dough was so light and perfectly cooked. We got Fries and Parmesan Chips as sides. The chips were great! Perfectly crispy fresh cut potato chips dusted with Parmesan and chives with lemon aioli. Overall a great experience and great food.

Just had the worst experience at johnny Roccos niagara falls and do not plan to return. Our server was so incredibly rude and made us wait 20 minutes just to put our order in. We didn't even stay to eat because of her attitude and how she treated us. It's a shame that our family couldn't enjoy the dinner we planned and we regret choosing this restaurant.

Went to eat out at this restaurant tonight. We went to the lundys lane restaurant. We ate here before and it was good but tonight, certainly not a good experience. Snow storm again tonight so the place was very slow. When we sat down there was only one other table. Our server was the host that sat us. He really seemed like it was an absolute chore to serve us? After we sat down he came over and he said “well, it looks like you’re stuck with me tonight”. We laughed but the way the service continued through the meal, it was unfortunate that we really were stuck with him. I ordered a salad and so did my wife and my son, a pizza. We also ordered a goat cheese app which he forgot. I would remind you that there was only one other table. He was somewhat apologetic but he just seemed so blah and portrayed such a negative presence. Our salads were 17.00 each. Apple and pecan salad with salmon. Mostly greens with I believe I saw 5 pecans, two skewers salmon, four slices of apple a couple of cranberries with balsamic. My perception of the salad after reading the menu was a lot different than what we had received. The salmon and the shrimp on the salads were cooked well. My sons pizza was good. I did not tip the server a cent tonight. I think that is literally only the second time I have ever done that. If I think the service is bad, I will usually tip something at least. But tonight it just started off on the wrong foot. I’m sure we were on the bad list after we left for not leaving a tip but I think if he reflected he would understand that it was just bad service. A weird vibe overall. He did take 2.00 and change off the bill for forgetting to put in the goat cheese app but still our bill was 61.00. So if the service is bad and the food was ok, for 61.00 and the reputation of Jonny Rocco’s I would expect a better experience.

I like to support local businesses but when it is the 3rd time food has been forgotten in my take out order, it becomes frustrating! I highly suggest that you check your order before leaving. Off the high price blocks around Niagara Falls up Lundy Lane. On the Wego route. Six of us, all enjoyed a great meal and great service. For unsweet ice tea they gave two of us hot tea in a pot and glasses of ice! Wow! Our servers name I think was Sabrina...... Fantastic server!

Basically like an Eastside Mario's, fast food italian. The environment is nice, well designed inside and nice patio and service was pleasant. However, waitress said the calamari was lightly breaded; it wasn't and it was oily. The aioli dip she raved about was just mayo. The margherita pizza tomato sauce base was nothing special. It tasted like a frozen pizza. The chicken parmesan with spaghetti used the same tomato sauce so it was bland and the spaghetti was undercooked. The beer was good though so you could come here for a beer at the bar and that would be fine. The patio is on a major road and it's super close to the road with nice car exhaust blowing by. We won't be coming back.

We are here right now. 4 adults to children, hostess outside refused to attach two table to seat us outside. Spoke with the manager inside, and she set up seating for us outside. We ordered a pitcher in the beginning, and the waitress was spilling as she poured it. She was also tripping, and forgot to get water. We think she was drunk.she was probably in her 40s and then there was 2 or 3 20 somewhat waitresses outside, literally doing nothing but serving as eye candy (one of them was really upset when we asked her to wipe the drinks that the other waitress spilled on the table). I ordered "a cheese pizza with extra extra extra cheese". Didn't get any extra cheese on it. And could see the tomato sauce on it in some places. I also tried the spaghetti (it was very dry) and the eggplant Parmesan (very greasy and lacks cheese, seemed like a frozen dish to me). Before calling it a night, we asked for a round of water for everyone at the table to wash down the food, and the waitress's response to that was "for everyone? Even the kids?" While paying the bill, I remembered to ask the waitress for the dessert for the kids and asked her if we can get them, her response: "some people just leave without it". ?!?!?!?! Umm when you take the children's plates away you are supposed to ask which dessert we want! Needless to say, I won't be coming here again. On the bright side, parking is free.

For my son's 18th birthday, he requested a meal catered by Johnny Rocco's, picked up by us, feeding 7 people. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with 2 extra pieces of chicken, up graded to ceaser salad, chicken alfredo pizza, a small antipasto tray and 2 family size strawberry cheesecake. The total was close to $200. When I got the online bill I saw the reciept said calzone. I called the restaurant right away and they said they would change it in their system and the price wouldn't change as they are roughly the same price. Which was fine with me. When I arrived to pick up my order, the outside light was out, I thought they were closed. When I went inside 1 table was occupied with a family of 4. I told the hostess who I was and she brought me my order and off I went. When I opened my bags I found no antipasto tray, a calzone, the 2 extra chicken pieces were 1 piece cut in 2 pieces, and the 'family size' cheese cake was 4 little squares, turned upside down in the packaging. It was horrible. I called the restaurant advising them I was livid! This was a special 18th birthday meal. They offered the remake and send....that would easily take an hour, and it was almost 6pm as it was!! She told me management would call me the next day. That was the 20th, I'm still waiting. I used to visit there regularly, that's the upsetting part. No integrity. Never again

Really disappointing experience. The hostess and server were both friendly but the food fell flat. I ordered the Tilapia- big mistake. The menu said it comes on a 'bed of sautéed spinach', but it arrived with a few sad leaves of spinach strewn on top. The side was advertised as 'roasted potatoes', which is interesting because what arrived were the wedges you can purchase from the grocery store. Lastly the 'seasonal vegetables' were, from what I could tell, from the assorted freezer pack. They had no flavour and were overcooked. The tilapia itself was cooked fine, but the 'lemon peppercorn' seasoning was nothing to write home about. The food was disappointing, not only because it was mischaracterized on the menu, but also because it is not worth $24 +tax. I am happy to pay $30, $40, etc. for a meal but I expect a higher quality that what I received. The other guests I was dining with both had pasta, one the Pescatore and the other the Gemelli with chicken and prosciutto. Neither were overly pleased. The pasta dishes arrived in frying pans for some reason, as neither of these dishes would have been cooked to completion in frying pans. Essentially, Johnny Rocco's is playing fast and loose with the term 'Italian Grill'. It's more of an American restaurant with cute activities for the kids and mediocre food. Think Boston Pizza- just add $10 per entree!

The food here was excellent. We started with their Rice balls which were cooked perfectly. For entrees we enjoyed the sausage and pepper arribbiata and the lobster ravioli. Both of which blew us away. They only knock against it (if you can even call it that) is the portion size of the sausage penne was quite large. We sat in the dinning room but next time I'll definitely ask for a spot on the patio. 5/5. Will be back!

My pasta was missing half the ingredients that was advertised on their menu including the garlic bread and they didn’t close the container of the marinara sauce security so it spilled all in the bag. First time eating here, I’ve been to Niagara many times but it’s the first time since the pandemic, we drove down from Barrie and my Wife as a Celiac picked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was lovely and the food was hot, fresh and fast, not to mention delicious. Sabrina was our server , she was excellent , very attentive and paid attention to detail and was very helpful with everything especially handling our celiac allergy. If I could give them more than 5 stars they definitely deserve it. Thanks again Sabrina! Will be back and recommend this place to anyone wondering if they should visit. Great Guest experience.

In a nutshell it was a very bad experience for the family, the server was new and did not know the items on the menu ... mixed the order and it took 50 minutes to deliver the food, I complained to the manager she offered us free desert but we couldn’t wait due to other commitments. It is really sad to pay premium price and get such bad service. Final note because the manager rushed the order 3 out of 5 main courses were not properly cooked but I couldn’t complain since the evening was already ruined.

I had a pretty good experience. The burger was one of the best restaurant burgers I ever had. And the service was great. My only minor complaint is that they told me that due to the fact that it is an Italian restaurant they do not have gravy for the fries. However I highly recommend going to try a burger. Also the table next to us got wings and they were huge. That is what I am getting next time.

I cannot believe this restaurant has a 4.2 rating here... unless maybe you've all just ordered pizza(?). Awful quality, overpriced and regular portions (unlike what other reviewers have written). We ordered pasta and salads, the lettuce on them was browned, the cheese looked like it was shredded Kraft mozzarella and the dressing was non-existent. The pastas were overcooked and mushy, the proteins were gross (like they were just blanched) and the vegetables were half raw. These are $17 salads and $22 pastas cooked by a 'chef' that are absolutely worse than what we can make at home with premium ingredients, in 15min, it's absurd. Staff was friendly, patio was nice, pizza (I guess) and drinks only kinda place.

Recently went for dinner on the patio. We ordered mussels, pasta and calamari. Every thing was beyond horrible. The mussels were rotten and tasted fishy and had a nasty odor, the calamari was bland oily and gross and the pasta was just gross. No flavor and ridiculously over priced. The bread was salty and the vinegar olive oil dip was disgusting. Everything was horrible and I would advise to stay far away from this place if visiting Niagara Falls. Worst dining experience in Niagara EVER!

Great place for italian food. This was our first visit to Niagara and we could not find a good reviewed Italian restaurant on the strip near the falls. So we widened our search and found this gem. We read the many positive reviews and decided to give this place a shot. It’s easy to get here there is a Wego bus stop right out front. The atmosphere is very nice, not too loud. The waitress was very attentive and brought us drinks and took our order promptly. We ordered the Parmesan chips as an appetizer and they were delicious. I made my own pasta bowl and got Linguine Alfredo with Brocholi and it was excellent. I am very picky about my Alfredo sauce and it was on point. The brocholi was cooked just right, not too crunchy and not too soft. I would definitely recommend Johnny’s to anyone looking for excellent Italian food.

Are regulars and the family loves the ambiance and atmosphere arou d the entire restaurant. My only wish is they'd bring back the 12 oz pork chop. We have tried literally everything on the menu. Each week go there for dinner and order each visit without fail parmesan chips and Caesars with obviously mains. One week our server who waits on us regularly gave us a complimentary bottle of Chardonnay. Cost is very reasonable and good sized portions. Staff are very friendly but not over friendly. It comes highly recommended.

Went here with a group, about 9 people. Waitress was incredibly rude, not standoffish or neutral but downright rude right from her introduction. It is clear she did not want to serve a large party, however we are all easy going and not the type to have bothersome questions or annoying requests. Trying to order appetizers or beverages was like pulling teeth. I asked for a water and she rolled her eyes and brought me a pitcher. The food was decent but the attitude of this staff member ruined what would have been a pleasant experience. We were all shocked someone in the service industry would behave like this, eye rolling, exaggerated sighs etc. Easily the worst experience I've ever had dining out, will NOT be back. *edit* I followed the instructions in the owners response, emailing my experience and never heard back. It's been over a week.

I got so disappointed. Our bear was warm, the caesar cocktail was terrible. Burger was not good at all and the Johnny rocco’s salad was not good either. Don't recommend this place.

Another great afternoon spent on the patio at Johnny Roccos! Food was so tasty! The patio is one of the nicest ones in the Falls if not the nicest one, very comfortable and great for people watching. Food was super tasty, I had the Bravo wrap and my husband had the Baked Chicken Penne...he had a big beer too! The service was super, a nice gal took care of us, we will be back probably next weekend! see you Johnny!

Was very excited to order from this restaurant for Valentine's Day. We ordered at 5:40 knowing it might be busy to get our order in time for dinner through skip the dishes. Not only did they take forever to get our order ready, we ended up getting the wrong order. The order did not get ready until 9, almost 3 and a half hours after we placed it and then we did not get the right order. I don't care how busy you are, 3.5 hours is inexusible. It ruined our entire night. Very dissapointed and angry.

Delicious food especially the pizza we had - done in a wood fired stove. Lovely atmosphere, excellent waiter, service was fast and efficient. Reasonable prices. Will return next time I'm in Niagara Falls!

We used to very much enjoy the chicken parm take out family meals pre covid but the price has gone up and the portions down. We recently ordered other take out food to try and both times they forgot to include the cookie with the kids meals even though we reminded them to include it the second time. The second time they also forgot the fries with a meal and the family cheesecake slices were actually small squares with little to no crumble and cheesecake that had a thick pudding type texture, and the calzone was a little burnt and pepperoni super spicy. When we went back to pickup the missing items, they still forgot to include 1 of the cookies... Disappointing. The kids hamburger meal is a deal but the patty wasn't wowing.

Really great atmosphere here. Food is great and well prepared. My wifeand I were there for our first anniversary back in 2013 and decided to go back in January 2017. Servers are very pleasant and great to deal with! Definately recommend!

Subpar food and high prices. Nothing is so bad that you can't eat it but I would rank the quality as below what you could get at East Side Mario's. If it was cheap and or fast it might be redeemable but unfortunately it's neither.

I was not happy with the burger served to my son. It was very burnt. My pasta was cold with my chicken parmigiana. We were a big group, no coffee or dessert offered. Kids got their dessert as we were all leaving. I would not go back. An expensive lunch experience which left us unsatisfied.

I was actually very surprised with how good everything was at Johnny Rocco's. I wasn't expecting excellent food, drinks, a nice atmosphere, stellar service, or anything beyond just something to eat. But Johnny Rocco's delivered. The menu has something delicious for everyone, the drinks were amazing and our server was super friendly. I'm glad we stopped here on a whim, because we found a place we'll return to when in the area.

Went for a dinner last night to this place. Due to Covid-19 only patio was open. Nice ambiance for sitting arrangement (the only thing I liked). Other than that staff’s service was below average. They made mistake while delivering order, providing vegetables with steak instead of fries. Two Steaks I ordered were gross. 31$+Tax/Steak is a total waste of money outta here. Other food items (Pizza, Ravioli) were way below average. Dry dough, chicken wasn’t cooked properly on pizza. My friend has a birthday so i bought a cake to surprise him at 12 o’clock. I requested staff if they can bring this cake at 12 but they denied my request stating we are closing at 12 so we can’t. We were there until 12:20 in the restaurant. WTH! Seriously! I would definitely not go again to this place and waste my money.

Horrible service. As soon as my family and I arrived we were not greeted by a hostess. I had to flag down someone at the bar who then seemed bothered by it he directed us to our table and left. 10 mins later the waitress Taylor appeared she took our drink order which was 2 beers 1 pina colada and an ice tea. The drinks took about 15 mins to arrive the place was not busy at allll. I don't understand the long wait for DRINKS. now the food took about another 30 mins to arrive. Taylor did not remember our orders she brought the wrong order to us. The quality of the food here is nothing like Italian cuisine. My sister and i both did not like our meals. We returned our plates. NO ONE CAME TO OUR TABLE TO ASK US IS EVERYTHING WAS OK. THE MANGER SPENCER DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND OFFER NOT TO CHARGE THE FOOD. INSTEAD I RECEIVED MY BILL $232 WHICH INCLUDED THE MEAL I RETURNED $26 I ASKED TAYLOR AS TO WHY I WAS CHARGED FOR A PLATE I RETURNED . SHE SAID THE MANAGER SAID HE WASN'T TAKING IT OFF THE BILL. I THEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER SPENCER CAME WITH THE REVISED BILL. I ASK WHY ALL THE HASSLE OF GETTING ME UPSET WHEN HE WAS GOING TO TAKE IT OFF THE BILL ANYWAY. I THEN WENT ON TO EXPRESS MY EXPERIENCE AT THE RESTAURANT AND HOW THE SERVICE WAS NOT GOOD. I ALSO STATED IT WAS MY ANNIVERSARY DINNER CELEBRATION AND IT WAS ALL RUINED BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE. I ASKED FOR FURTHER COMPENSATION AND WAS OFFERED $26 OFF. I PAID $180 WITH TIP FOR SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ON MY ANNIVERSARY. SPENCER NEEDS TO BE TRAINED ON HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS WHO ARE NOT SATISFIED . HE NEVER ONCE CAME UP TO ASK US ABOUT THE RETURNED PLATES IVE BEEN TO MANY RESTAURANTS AND AS SOON AS YOU ASK FOR YOUR PLATES TO BE RETURNED THE MANAGER IMMEDIATELY APPEARS OFFERING ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH THEN MAKES THEM A HAPPY AND RETURNING CUSTOMER. In conclusion our experience at Johnny Rocco was not pleasant at all. In my opinion don't waste your money there. Thanks for the everlasting memory at your establishment.

We were a hockey party of 60. The service we received was amazing! All our food came out at the same time. Which is usually for a part of this size. Typically at our team dinners the kids get their food first and are done before the parents get theirs. Then they are restless waiting for the parents. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was amazing. The wait staff was excellent! A special thanks to the wait staff Mel M. Sam and Victoria Our parents were overly impressed with the whole experience!!

Brutal - they had limited food options - no Parmesan cheese, limited option for sides. Server was apologetic and it wasn’t his fault. But the meal itself was pretty bad. Salad was tasteless. Sorry - but it was a bad experience

It's OK, I ordered regular spaghetti and meatballs, this time. But I love the veal and chicken parm way better. But I can't even lie, the meatballs are great. They lost a point for not having parm cheese in my take out, that's something I shouldn't have to ask for.

I took a colleague to Johnny Rocco's for supper. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and relaxed, Staff goes out of their way to make your time with them is perfect. And no I didn't forget, the food is awesome !!! I would highly recommend Johnny's to anyone, I live 3 hours away and when I am in town (Probably every 2 months) I always make a point to either have lunch or supper here. Highly recommend !!! Very busy night and the hostess was able to get us in quickly. Mediocre food. Our server was very nice. My spaghetti and meatballs were basic and blah. 3 little meatballs, a flavorless sauce and angelhair pasta. Fried calamari were not as crispy as they could have been. No marinara either.

We have been to J R quite a few times.. First time back after covid. My husband was not hungry as it was late but ordered an app..mussels in red sauce..sauce was very thick and half the mussels were empty and not in bottom of plate. No quality for the price. Two of us ordered sicilian calzone which was the least complicated..we found them to be with too much filling...the filling was like an entree with complicated flavours...keeping it simple goes a long way.. Our favorite used to be a seafood pasta and is no longer on menu. Good place for drinks but some foods overdone....trying to hard.. Italian food is simple and flavourful..what we had was lacking. Not sure if we will be back. Unfortunately we did not take photos....
