Ordered take away from here, staff was very friendly, it was also very clean as well! Sub was good, I ordered a steak sub, I had a bite of it and it had peppers I asked for no peppers, I'm allergic, but despite the peppers I could easily take them off there wasnt very many. I would try it again and maybe just 100% let them know I'm allergic so theres no mistake next time! :)

A great twist on subs - I must say Firehouse Subs are delicious. I purchased the Firehouse Hero and it was hearty and filling. It came with a tasty dill pickle spear in a separate plastic bag so the juices did not dampen the sub bun - that was a nice touch. As fast food goes, this tasted as far from it as possible - like an amazing sub sandwich you would purchase at a deli. Enjoy! ????????

We have has nothing but amazing experiences at Firehouse Subs here in Niagara Falls. For months, friends had been recommending we give it a shot, and from our first visit we have understood why. Every sub we've had has been delicious: the Italian, the Meatball, Steak and Cheese, Smokehouse Brisket and Cheddar, and the Engineer. Our favourite hot sub was the Steak and Cheese, super juicy and flavorful, and absolutely worth it to add the sauteed mushrooms for the upcharge. The Italian was another favourite, and none of the subs are skimping on meat. The bread is soft, chewy and always fresh. We have also tried the broccoli and cheddar soup, which was smoothy, extra creamy and tasty. The food is quality and tastes good, leaving you full but not stuffed and not feeling heavy or yucky when you're done. But even above their awesome food, their service is top notch. On our latest visit, we met the owner or manager (we didn't catch what his position was) Purvang. He was friendly, knowledgeable, polite and kind. He talked to pretty much every single customer while we were there! Every one of the staff who have served us have been just like Purvang too. They're all friendly, quick and helpful. I have not seen service like this at a quick service restaurant, ever! They checked up on all the customers, and always ensured everyone had what they needed. I will return to this location again and again. We were very impressed and think others should know how great it is!

We get Firehouse Subs every Wednesday at my work and they're not a bad sub. Tasty and medium sized portions. I'd put them better than Subway, Quiznos or Garrison's in the Falls but not as good as Papa Vince in Thorold or Mommaz Boyz in Welland where you can get much larger and tastier subs for the same price.

Better than Subway and Mr. Sub for sure, but still not worth the price they charge. I think they can easily charge around $10 a sub rather than $15. Taste was mediocre, maybe if they used panini style breads I would enjoy it more. They are very nice about changing out things in the sub for your convenience/allergies, etc. My wallet just felt the pinch over 3 subs for $50!

Had a Spivey cajun chicken sub yesterday. First it was not Spicey or Cajun chicken. Second it was chopped chicken. Third it was 12 dollars for a 9 inch sub. I would not recommend this place on lundys lane in Niagara Falls Ontario. Not sure I will try one again

Delicious warm subs. I had Italian and my wife had meatball. Lots of quality mixed cold cuts warmed and served on a toasted whole wheat bun and lovely tender and tasty meatballs in a good marinara sauce again in a toasted whole wheat bun. Side of pickles and a pepperoncini pepper. Very friendly knowledgeable staff in a clean environment. Better than competitors.

Very disappointing tonight. Order came wrong when we called told that next time we come in can get a free sub. But we were still Hungary and can’t eat peppers and requested none on the subs. Customer service needs to be work on. Had to drive to store to have new subs made. This will be the last time we ever eat there. They did nothing to make up for their mistake. A brownie or two may have eased the pain a bit but their customer service blows!!!!

We ordered the turkey bacon ranch sub and it was absolutely delicious. The bun was toasted but still soft, real shaved meat was a nice surprise and the use of real cheese (none of that processed sliced cheese) melted on top was amazing! The staff were also great and very friendly and to top it off the prices are actually much lower than I expected. Our whole experience was exceptional and this was my first time trying Firehouse Subs but I already can't wait until I go back.

Sadly didn’t have the best experience. Preordered for a 5pm pick up (pre ordered at 4) when I got there nothing ready. Waited till 525 till I left. Being in a rush and picking food up on my way to work, I was just about to walk out and leave. Staff just kept saying - almost ready, almost ready for 20+ minutes. Food was good, portion was okay - their chain restaurant in Grimsby does a much better job.

And they also have that sick coke machine that dispenses 175+ flavors of pop. If that isn't an incentive to get you walking through the doors I don't know what is!

I order here often. The food has always been very well made and quick. I have had issues with online ordering, with miscommunications. So I normally Opt in for pick up. Meet Balls sub us very good as is The Steamer.

If I could give no stars I would have place an order through skip the dishes that was 94 dollars. After waiting half an hour to receive said order found out one whole sub was missing. Contact store and had to drive from one town into the next to get missing sub. Contact skip the dishes to get a delivery cost refund for having to drive in. Get told I cannot get refund of delivery fee. Get told at store I can take sub and have no refund of anything or get refund of sub cost and no sub. Took over an hour to try and sort out to get nowhere and still pay extra in gas to go get my daughters sub. Absolutely horrible customer service and business sense on part of both.

Got the 8" beef brisket with cheddar sub and a drink, paid $12 total which is not too bad, sub was delicious with the meat being freshly shaved and juicy, all the quality is there, tasted really good especially being on a whole wheat bun, I believe this is the only one here in Canada, do try it out for yourself

The smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket is phenomenal and the new york steamer is just as good! Always huge portions of meat and is much more worth your money & time compared to other sub shops (subway, Mr sub). Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Fort Erie! ALSO, they have high-C in their drink machine which is super exciting since I haven't had it in YEARS! A+++

Posting this later than planned but definitely wanted to make some comments. We had heard about Firehouse Subs but had never been to one. We were immediately welcomed by the staff when we entered. Very refreshing! The young fellow who took our order at the counter (I’m guessing he is the owner’s son) provided us with excellent customer service. Many adults could take lessons from him! While we waited at our table for our order we were impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. Our sandwiches were absolutely fresh and delicious. When we were done we expected to clean up our table ourselves as is the case in most sub shops but the young fellow who took our order came over and efficiently picked up our trays. I took this opportunity to let him know how impressive his customer service was. We walked away from here with smiles on our faces.

Today was my first visit to Firehouse Subs here in Niagara Falls. I had the meatball sub and it was fantastic. My total was just over $12 for a Medium sub and a fountain drink. They have one of those new Coke soda machines that allows you to choose over 100 different beverages. It wasn't busy but still took about 10 minutes from the time I entered the restaurant before I left with my sub. The oven is a bit slow, but the staff was great. I would recommend checking this place out.

Well......... Very nice people for sure but........ When they first opened the service and quality was really good. I have been there several times and can say that the last three visits where not without issue. 1. Ordered my sub for eat in and it took 18 minutes to get it. I thought they forgot me because they were so busy. 2. Staff changes quite a bit which causes delays and errors in orders. 3. Manager/ Owner lost it on his staff one day because the wrong take out order was given to a person. Not very professional. 4. Same guy tries to do to much and gets in the way of his employees.. He should stay on cash and make sure the orders are taken properly. Time for a re-set and some more training.

I think whoever prepared it was a little overwhelmed and didn't take the time to properly allow the meat to strain the water off before placing it on my sandwich. Other than that, whole heartedly reccomend.

Awesome subs !!! U looking for a real sub ? Look no farther as this place is the real deal. It's a little pricey but u get what u pay for and u will not be disappointed. My wife and I have ate here a few times now and the food is incredible for a sub shop..when u go your better off to est in as they steam there meat and if it sits to long serten subs will go soggy. I decided to try this place a few months back as the concept interested me. I have now been there several times. The Cheese Steak Sub and the meatball sub are awesome. Oddly enough I don't like when they all stop to yell welcome to firehouse subs. It's awkward and makes me feel like I've been put on the spot. I think it would be best just to let the cashier offer the welcome when the customer approaches the counter. I find the prices are a little too expensive, but am willing to pay it as I love the subs. However if the large sub was say maybe $2.00 cheaper i would eat there far more often. I also don't like how early they close. I think on at least Friday and Saturday they should stay open till 1am. Intoxicated people love a yummy sub so why not be open when those people are hungry? I also love that they have a card where you get a stamp for each sub, once you collect 6 (or maybe seven....can't recall) you can redeem the card for a free small sub. I have mixed reviews about the staff. Some are super friendly while others just have this look like they would really prefer to not be there. I give it five stars because overall I am satisfied with their concept and I really love two of their subs (mentioned above) Thank You firehouse subs!

The staff and food are wonderful. The manager is very good and I would like to thank him as he really stepped up and went out of his way to help me teach a 12 year old a constructive way to handle a problem. I hope he ( the 12 yr) old sees that treating people with respect gets respect back and that talking to people in a rude manor just makes things worse.

No variety at all. The same toppings on everything. The only differences between the sandwiches are the cheese and maybe combining a different type of meat, or maybe a little italian dressings. The sandwiches are sub-par when they arrive, theyre usually half soggy to the point where youre basically just chewing soggy bread. The owner is smug snd gives a minimum "we try our best!" Response to the reviews without actually doing anything about it. Save your money, buy the ingredients yourself and make sandwiches for a week for the price of one sub here. Embarassing. They also attempt to hide their bad reviews.

Incredible meat - loved the first bite so much I bought two more to take home! Friendly crew made it exactly as I asked, not even a taste of the hated onions (which is often not the case even when no onions requested), and they encouraged me to try the MANY sauces - in the little cups provided I got two experiences of tastes I'd never have tried if not for their PLETHORA of sauce choices. Completely amazing taste buds experience to NOT BE MISSED! Wish they had one local to me!

Ordered three subs, 2 out of 3 where right. Third one wasn’t even close. Ordered smoked turkey and got brisket???? Not even close. Elderly lady after me was having an extremely hard time ordering, actually painful to listen to. I can safely contribute this to the language barrier! The steak sub was good though.

3 stars only for the food, service was on point. The hero sub was the strangest tastes I've ever experienced, normally I have the my steamer or the Italian (delicious subs), however trying this hero sub was a notable regret within the first two bites. It's definitely an acquired taste. I'm sure some people may enjoy it, but I'll never get it again.

Ordered from this location when I was in town late last year. My fountain drink was delivered with change (YES MONEY!) inside of the drink, that I did not see until the next day. Ownership of this franchise was an absolute joke to deal with - basically calling me a liar. ATTENTION ALL TOURISTS! DO NOT EVER EAT HERE. You would not want to experience the same I did with potentially choking on loose change that requires a visit to the hospital. So many better choices in the area.

I had the meatball sub. One of the meatballs was hard and you couldn't bite into it. I broke it open with a fork and it was dry and looked freezer burned. Other than that the sub was very good.

Update: Just stopped in on my way out of Niagara Falls for the third time. Had the New York steamer and a bowl of broccoli and cheese soup. Because of this I updated my star rating from 4 to 5. It was amazing... Too bad there is no Firehouse Subs in Toronto! Hopefully they will come soon. Went here twice during my Niagara Falls weekend trip. I tried the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket and also the Firehouse Meatball. Both visits I ordered the brisket which was an AMAZING!!! The Meatball sub on the other hand wasn't that great, the sauce is very tomato paste based, some of the meatballs we're cold. The staff and owner we're very accommodating and pleasant... The place itself is very clean. I look forward to visiting next time I'm in Niagara Falls!
