Authentic, high quality and not overly priced tacos. The staff are awesome, the owner gave me some great recommendations on my first order and even let me try a sample of one I didn't order. An order of 3 tacos with a side of crunchy fries was pretty filling. Fantastic tacos, visit this place!!

I would highly recommend The Taco Factory. We popped in for an afternoon snack. Had the sopas and some guacamole. First class. The owner, a trained chef from Mexico City was super nice and the food was authentic and fresh. Love that they serve local craft beer on tap. Arturo the owner says they have live music some evenings which would be good fun. Low key atmosphere with some style.

Bad experience with this place twice. Ordered our food and asked for condiments. It didn’t arrive with any. Called them, they apologized and said they would give credit on next meal. I explained to them I always order through skip the dishes and I was told credit would apply. Prior to ordering, I called and was advised they can’t add credit through skip the dishes, only applied on pickup, which is fine... ordered again through skip the dishes with notes, food arrives with no condiments. Called the manager who wasn’t helpful and didn’t seem to care. I understand it’s something small but it definitely took away from the experience... the customer service isn’t super great.

Was really excited to try this place but was really disappointed. We spent $80 and unfortunately we didn't like any of it . Out of the 3 fish tacos, only 1 of them had toppings (other 2 were just fish) , the soup tasted really bad , the steak taco was so dry and had no dressing and the chicken burrito was okay, definitely had better ones. For the price , we really expected better quality food. Wouldn't go back or recommend.

We decided to give this place a try and we weren't disappointed. There's lots of variety. Fun reminders of being in Mexico. Friendly staff. Did I already say tasty food? We had the flautas, chips and Pico de Gallo, enchiladas, and tacos. Only knock I can think of is the slightly smaller portions.

Amazing authentic Mexican place. We had a carna asada burrito and their pozole mexican hot soup. Both were fantastic. Service was great. Place was super clean and fresh. Great beer selection. They even have gelato! They even have live music some nights. Will deft be back soon to check out the music and enjoy some amazing food!!

Very sad experince with a burrito ????. Benefit of the doubt considering the other reviews - it was a really off day for the kitchen. Rice was a mushy overcooked blob, meat was bland, the side of chipoltle sauce was great though but meals arnt meajsired on their side sauce. Wouldn't recommend

Great price point and fast service during lunch hour, but some of the tacos are hit or miss. Carnitas was great, carne asada was okay and the pescado (fish) taco wasn't good. It tasted fishy, like an old fish stick. There's no way it was fresh fish fried to order.

It was ok, when we went they ran out of guacamole and fish. Which seems strange they couldn’t run over to a store to get. Had the 3 tacos combo which were decent but seem odd they serve them with Costco fries. And the quasadea came with obvs no guacamole and a small sour cream. Pricing is the same to el santo which makes there own chips and tortillas. Or sal y limon which is quite authentic Mexican street tacos.

One of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. Look through my reviews, I almost never give a review that's not five stars. But this meal was ... Wow. Tortillas were chewy and tasted like it had been microwaved out of the freezer. Chicken was bland. Beef seemed barely to resemble beef. Barely any spice. Just bland mediocrity. Churros were decent atleast. Seems like this place may have been great once, but no longer. Hope you guys can find what you lost. This ain't it chief.

lst visit - Loved it! my family had various taco flavours and enjoyed all of them. I had the pork with pineapple in a burrito. Delicious! as were the pico and the guac. And the service was lovely. will definitely go again!

Reasonable, but nothing special. I understand this place isn't trying to be authentic but I guess I'd prefer the authentic experience. The burrito is maybe 1/3 full of rice.. not special seasoned rice, but overcooked white rice. It actually kinda tasted like Chinese to be honest. Enchiladas, in lieu of sauce are just covered in preshredded kraft style cheese. Underwhelming. Go here, see for yourself and then maybe try an authentic place like Ole Ole, and come to your own conclusions. I conclude this place isn't worth returning to.

Ordered the burrito, fish tacos and the flautas for delivery. Let me get it started by saying the sauces that were included were lovely, don’t know if they are house made or not but that’s that. I’d like to say the food was bland - but bland doesn’t describe the amount of flavor it lacked. I would like to give this place the benefit of the doubt due to myself only trying it once but my oh my I don’t know if I would return. I’ve read a lot of positive reviews about this place so maybe it was just a bad day - we all have those.

We were super excited to try this place and enjoyed our first trio of tacos a couple of weeks ago. The tacos were flavourful and moist, and the fries were so delicious and crisp!! 1 week later we went back for more takeout because I was craving the fries and pollo pibil tacos Unfortunately, this time the fries were soggy and lukewarm, and the tacos were dry and lacking in the wonderful pibil flavour. It's like we got the leftover stuff from the lunch rush, but everything was so fresh the week before around the same time of day. Really disappointing, not sure if we'll chance going back a 3rd time or not as it's a bit of a drive for us. :(

This is the worst taco place ever. The chicken tacos were so plain and tastless i think it gave me depression. It said it came with hot sauce and i literally got tasteless green sauce with no HOT or Spicy flavour. The churros are wayy overpriced. i ordered on ubereats btw. Taco Del Mar is better dont waste ur money here

The world, and New West, are happier places with more Mexican restaurants opening up. Their tacos are fresh and tasty. Salsas are great (providing a knife or spoon to scoop them out would be helpful). Service was fast and pleasant. Prices are on par with many other taquerias in the lower mainland.

I have tried a few different things off their menu, from their sopa azteca, to tacos, to their burritos and they haven't disappoint once. Even with food app delivery they package everything really well with no spills. Their fries are shake the room crispy. There are so many different flavours going on when you bite down into one of their tacos or burritos with all the fillings, herbs, garnishes, and sauce. It's really flavour town here.

It’s easy to miss this place, between all the construction & the tree partially covering their sign, but don’t miss them! I didn’t plan on going here, but decided to check them out and was not disappointed. Their tacos are great! I personally had the asada tacos which were so good, but I look forward to returning & trying some of their other tacos. Dining in allowed me to enjoy a good beer, and good 80s music as well!

They have good food, but their customer service has a lot to desire. The Northern girl who works as a cashier doesn't have a clue about what customer service is, ignoring the customers while she chats, making the customers to wait unnecessarily several minutes to pay, order or to ask anything. Every single time I had to stand up to remind her of my order, drink and to ask someone else even for cutlery! The other employees are very nice. That girl doesn't even know anything about the food served in that restaurant and somehow in the 5 times that I have been there, I end up eating something which I didn't order, as either her or the cook messed up the orders. The owner from before is very nice and super friendly. He is always ready to please his customers.

The food here is exactly what I was looking for! Looking for tacos in Vancouver is easy. Finding tacos the way I like them was proving to be impossible; that is until I had them here. I like my Mexican food “simple” and that is by no-means an insult . I like fresh ingredients, corn tortillas and CHURROS!!! Most “Mexican” restaurants I have tried in the tri-cities are heavy on the aesthetic and price but lacking heavily on the quality of the food. The Taco Factory gets the mix just right.

i keep going back to this place for one reason, and that is reliability, meaning that if i had an experience that i enjoyed and it made me feel happy, chances are if i want to feel that again, i absolutely will . I have been ordering from them through various delivery apps for awhile, and i have never been disappointed, i have ordered every flavour of taco but my favourites to this date has been steak flank & chorizo, their guacamole dip is also tasteful and exclusive to their restaurant. The Sopa De Tortilla seems to be something you have to catch when it is ready as i failed at ordering it so far, however they definitely offset it with great customer service.

What happened to this place :( I had gone here a few times a in the beginning of the year and it was delicious. I went here today with my boyfriend and it literally was the worst meal I had eaten in years which is saying a lot because I ate cold two day nuggets for dinner last night. We both ordered burritos and they were so bland and mushy they were basically inedible. The fries that they came with were freezing cold as well. Also the service was horrible. She didn't check on us once and completely ignored us the whole time. I am not one to complain because I am in the service industry myself but we left pretty depressed and upset over the 24 dollars we had just wasted.

Good authentic Mexican food. They blend modern flare with traditional flavours well. Think high end Mexican street food. Flavours are developed and balanced. Fries were crispy yet fluffy. Tacos had a good quantity of meat. The pulled chicken was juicy yet not soggy. The sapperton taco had a nice level of heat, beef had texture but wasn’t tough. I would go back.

This place is very Generous ! Marvel suggested the taco for two option. It came with many dipping sauces , guacamole, and a huge quantity of meat , enough to make 20 tacos. They also served us unlimited refills of tortillas and dipping sauces . I would difinetly come back on my next trip to Cancun !

We stumbled upon The Taco Factory by accident but this place is legit! We lived 3 years in Mexico City and I can tell you it is good. We had Tacos al Pastor, Tacos de Carnitas, Tacos de Barbacoa and Gorditas al Pastor. Everything was excellent (although I would have like more heat with the Carnitas, but that's me), very very good, seriously good. But if I had to choose 1, Barbacoa is insuperable! The sweet of the fat, the savory of the meat and spices, the umami bomb was surreal! As far as I'm concerned, you cannot go wrong here. Can't wait to dine in.

Local to the area and this very new and trendy Taco shop is a great addition to the neighbourhood. Great for grabbing a sit down meal, quick bite or to-go lunch. Food and drinks are a mix of authentic, Tex-Mex and local. Flavours are fresh and presentation is great. My only thoughts for improvement would be the random selection of programs on the TV's should be looked at and maybe little spoons or something similar on the tables for applying the chipotle sauce that comes with most of the dishes since the containers it comes in are so small. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very friendly service. The price is on the higher end, but the portion was large. Food was fresh and made to order. We had the Gordita (comes with 2 Gordita and fries) and it was actually too large for me for lunch. The masa "pita" was very good, however, I thought the Chorizo could have been spicier. That was easily solved by adding hot sauce. I would definately recommend. Nice little local place to support during these tough times for restaurants.

The flavours were perfect, the portions were reasonable, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very comfortable and the restaurant was clean. Still, there’s rarely a wait while Playa Tropical on 6th Street is always too busy. We almost never get in there without a wait where with this place we get good food without the wait.

Very decent torta, and friendly staff who were attentive. Prices seem very fair and the portions were adequate…although I wish I had a few more fries. I really liked their fries which were hot and crispy. Did I mention that I wish I had a few more fries? My youngest daughter enjoyed her item on the very reasonably priced kids menu (cheese quesadilla), and my oldest daughter liked her flautas. Nicely decorated interior that was comfortable and larger than it appears from the street. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure.

I ordered take out (because of covid) and I went there with zero expectations. I remember I heard 1 or 2 times someone online say it was good but I forgot. So I went today and picked up a carnitas burrito, chicken flautas and chicken tacos, pico, guac, and some chips. AND LET ME TELL YOU. This is the best mexican food in new west. I'm serious. The tortilla was soft and not rubbery and the pork and chicken was so soft and juicy the chicken had perfect flame kissed char flavor. The sauces were amazing. The chips weren't oily the pico was great. The guac was the best guac I've ever had. My boyfriend and I were SHOCKED that everything was perfect. I'm so sorry I didn't tip you guys enough. We had the chorizo and steak burritos, and they were excellent in both taste and quality. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked but not dry, an absolute delight in every bite. Unlike other places that may pack too much of this or that resulting in a burrito that is bursting and partially less satisfying to eat, here you’ll be happy to eat and enjoy the food and not wear it! The sauce and toppings didn’t over power the meat nor as I said did it come gushing out at the seams causing you to wipe your face more than a toddler at the dinner table. The way in which the meat, toppings, sauce and warp seemed to be in perfect balance was as surprising as it was delicious to enjoy with every bit. Speaking of the wrap, this wasn’t your dempsters wannabe Mexican food that was made in Ontario last week and shipped on an 18 wheeler. This was a wonderfully moist, slightly stretchy dough that was warm to the touch and convinced you that it was made fresh that day. Am I embellishing a bit, perhaps, but I think having being satisfied with every bite of this burrito made me realize that I shall return and try other items on their menu.

I am sad to say this place is a disappointment. I have been trying to find a great burrito place and was excited to try this place out. I ordered a fish burrito. The burrito came in a ball size...... What?? It was not wrapped properly, which led to rice falling out everywhere after a few bites in. Because it was poorly wrapped, I would get a few bites with only rice or tortilla, no fish or other ingredients. It was not properly mixed. The burrito was also dry, no sauces in it. No Salsa or guac, or sour cream, hot sauce, etc. Dry. Also there were very few ingredients in the burrito. Lettuce, Onion, rice, and beans. Disappointed. The only reason why I didn't give it a 1 star was because the burrito came with tatertots, which tasted good. And the fish had good breading.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to be. On the outside it might look like a dingy restaurant but when you go inside, it looks very presentable. The food is amazing! We had the nachos with pulled pork (carnitas) and the flavour was just oozing. Never had nachos that tasted that good. We also had the fish tacos and I was not expecting that to taste that good either. Definitely will be coming back to try some more food. If you’re looking for a Latin American restaurant experience, this is the place to be.

Loving these amazing restaurants serving awesome tacos. All the ones we tried were really great but personally, the favorite is definitely the al pastor, barbacao and the pollo asada. The meats were super tender and the very juicy. Along with the green sauce, these tacos were up there. So glad we tried these. Side note, the order we got came with a side of fries. Fries were absolutely top notch. One of those fries that's kinda got like crumbs or something but, fried perfectly and just the right amount of crunch. Desert was pretty good too. Flan wasn't too sweet and very creamy. I would havs like a bit more cinnamon on the churros but, its all g. Enjoyed that meal very much and will come back in the future to try their other items.

I've never been to Mexico but when I imagine what authentic Mexican tacos are, I think of this place. Everything is delicious. Portions aren't huge but the flavors are awesome. If you want good tacos, The Taco Factory is the spot. If you want to crush nine gorditas at three am and hate yourself even more than you do already... But you do you. As a Hispanic person, I can definitely say there is nothing authentic about this place. The lamb taco was not even edible, had a nasty strange odor to it. The burrito was dry, a large portion of it was just rice. I was so excited to try this place out but sadly I do not recommend this, nor would I ever come back.

I absolutely love their carne asada burrito and order it pretty regularly through their app. The only reason as to why I only gave 4 stars is because they don't really reply to their feedback that they gather on their app. I ordered a burrito a few weeks ago and it came with burnt tortilla chips instead of the usual AMAZING fries, which left me super disappointed and slightly confused. Overall I would recommend this place and trying their carne asada burrito and fries.

I've ate here 3-4 times and I have not been impressed by any of my experiences unfortunately. I don't see myself ordering from here ever again. The prices are quite high for what you get. The burritos and tacos are not filling, and instead they try to fill you up on fries. My burrito was extremely salty and didn't have much flavour. It simply wasn't good. I am confused by how highly rated this restaurant is but I guess everyone is different.

Tried this place for the first time recently as we live in the neighbourhood. It’s a sit down restaurant, yet you have to order and pay up front. Given our experience, I’m not sure I’d have tipped 20% if we’d paid at the end of the meal as you do at most places. $2.50 for a bowl of crushed up pieces of tortilla chips and $3 for about 3 tbsp of salsa. We did ask for better chips and questioned the amount of salsa and they sorted us out with some pretty stale chips and another ramekin of salsa. The tortilla soup appeared as though it had come straight from a tetra pack and had no cheese or anything besides bright red purée and a few strips of tortilla, the quesadilla and gortita were decent and flavourful but where things really fell off was with the churro that we ordered for desert. We paid $5 for one churro that was maybe 8 inches long and was not even close to warm. Our expectation was that they’d be made in house but it definitely did not appear that way. As for the service, perhaps it was because it was closer to the end of the day for the staff, but they were fairly absent. They failed to take away any of our finished dishes or offer to refill our beverages during the entire visit. I’d like to try a few more of their meals but I’m not feeling like I should be in much of a hurry to return. It was a bit of a disappointment.

I've noticed this restaurant had recently been added to the food delivery apps we use, but wanted to visit in person for our first time trying it. We made the trek out this evening and after eating the food were quite surprised how slow it was. Better for us as we got excellent service. Gina our waitress was very warm and welcoming. She felt very genuine in wanting us to enjoy our meal. I'll be back for her service alone. The food was delicious. Both of us ordered the three tacos option. I really liked them all, but a special shout out to the Al Pastor. So much flavour. For dessert we had the churros which uniquely comes with a little cup of hot chocolate on the side. There's truly nothing like fresh churros. I look forward to returning and trying something new.

We came on a Saturday for dinner. The food was decent. What spoiled the occasion was the terrible service. Don’t bother to come here for dine in if you want your day ruined. Service: There were 2 waiters, the one with the glasses was fine, but the darker skin woman of whom was taller was despicable. Her attitude and behaviour towards any customer is unacceptable. She was rude, hostile, inattentive, and could not care less about her job duties. Our water never came even though after she seated us, she clearly asked what drinks we would like. Additionally, the restaurant was not busy, as it was barely even full. Aside from my table, there were only 2 other tables. How hard is it to get water? She also forgot our order, and asked what we ordered before bringing the food to the table. In addition, she did not bother to give us napkins or utensils at all. We had to ask for them in addition to water. Water was also not refilled during our dine in. Food: We had the cordita, sapperton taco, and quesadillas. The quesadillas was good. My favourite out of the three had to be the sapperton taco. It was a bit dry due to the chorizo but was immediately fixed with sour cream and hot sauce on top. The cordita was my least favourite. The meat to bread ratio seemed to be like 1:4. It also ate dry.

Tacos have agreat flavor my favorites were cochinita and barbacoa, pastor is ok but I would recommend try the other one's. Staff is very attentive Great place I definitely come back

I tried this place for a second time I wasn't totally impressed the first time I had a Tosta with beef for $14 and $7 beer And found three pieces of gristle in the Tosta Not expecting that for $14 Unfortunately I won't be back Sorry guys and I really appreciate like Mexican food

$3.50 for a Can of Coke. Who in the World charges $3.50 for a can of coke. Food was ok nothing to brag home about.

Decent spot especially considering what's available in New West. It's no Sal Y Limon. Music was a bit too loud for my taste. Tacos were decent, good even, flavour-wise, but mine were soooo tiny. About half the filling of the photos. Basically, one-bite tacos. I'm thinking 5 for $10 would be more appropriate if they're that meagre. I went home after had a plate of leftover pasta. The $4 kids quesadilla weighed twice what 3 tacos did and probably had triple the calories. At $10 for 3, I'd expect them to be stuffed. Or throw some rice and beans at me. I don't expect to be stuffed after 3 tacos, but at least put a dent in my hunger. And where's the fish tacos? Photos all over, it's but not on the menu. Anyhow, staff were super friendly, good craft beer was cold and cheap, was food flavour good. Next time I'll try something else. Probably wouldn't order tacos again which is probably not what you want to hear about a place called The Taco Factory.
