As I was deciding which food vendor to go to at the market, Jeremiah's Deli was the place with the longest line and most diverse (young and old) clientele. I had the "Jake with Bacon" and I am confident that it will satisfy even the pickiest sandwich connoisseurs. This is the place to go!

As a meat lover, I bought roasted beef, baked ham and smoked meat, all very good. Price is reasonable, $9.85/lb after tax. I heard seafood chowder is very good too, but did not get a chance to try it, as it only has seafood chowder on Fridays.

It's been a long time since I've had a really well made sandwich. A sandwich that has it all: great bread (something other than your standard white and whole wheat), fresh and crisp vegetables and mouth watering meat. Jeremiah's had it all. I had the baked ham on rye. Besides the food, the staff was also great. Very nice and energetic. It felt like a great place to be.

If you can, visit on a Wednesday and get a BRB, and if you are in the mood for breakfast, their Breakfast Burrito really is the Best in the City.

Probably the best place for lunch at the city market. I had the Wednesday special (BRB - Bacon Roast Beef) and I think it might be the best sandwich I've ever had. Friendly staff, quick service and delicious food.

Love the sandwiches here and the staff is always welcoming and pleasant. Food is prepared right in front of you and the staff is very accommodating to your preferences. Great place to sit and have dinner before checking out the market or if you need to order and run.

The bread is great, sandwiches are okay, would benefit from having some better quality meats, cheeses, etc ***Since I can’t seem to find a way to reply to the owner’s review, I’ll try to elaborate Firstly, I didn’t dislike the sandwich, I gave you rating of 3/5 stars…that’s a positive review, 3/5 is good, 3/7 is not. I didn’t rate you 3/7 stars. In fact, I was even a repeat customer! The bread, in my opinion, is the star of the sandwich, it’s a 6 star bread, if you believe that every part of your sandwich is the star, congratulations, then there’s nowhere to improve, you’ve reached sandwich nirvana, you’re perfect, and feedback is meaningless. You might be starting with a nicely prepared piece of breaded chicken, but when it’s refrigerated for awhile after the preparation, and then gets zapped in a microwave to order, the quality of it does change. Now, I ordered it hot, but I also wasn’t aware that it was going the microwave route, because, generally I assume that places that prepare their own meats, as you do, don’t microwave to warm it back up. Still a good sandwich, and overall, a sandwich I enjoyed enough to give a positive-leaning review of, and come back to try another one, for me, just not a 5/5 sandwich. Thanks!

Jeremiah's is one of the best food places in Saint John! Hands down! Amazing food, but the staff working over there, takes the whole experience to a next level! I moved out of Saint John and I really miss the food and the amazing lovely staff. If you're in Saint John, NB area, I without a doubt and wholeheartedly recommend Jeremiah's if you want to experience the best breakfast burrito and some more goodness!
