Now I know Delta's is highly acclaimed by most people so this may be an unpopular opinion. I really just think they're okay. The high praise goes to the Cornbread but everything else was okay. While the Fried chicken was cooked to perfection, it lacked flavor and the waffles weren't anything special. My husband liked his Salmon cakes and grits w/ collard greens but the presentation was lacking. The restaurant itself is beautiful, offers great ambiance for date night and intimate gatherings.

This is not your typical buffet style soul food joint. Upscale and worthy of its reputation. Great music from 90' s r&b to latest hits accompany your meal. Call ahead to insure you get a seat. They tend to get busy and once you taste the dishes like the smothered turkey wings you will understand why. Also, its in a area where parking is minimal. Ladies bring your flip flops in your bag in case you have to meter park and walk over. Enjoy!

Good service and a short wait time. We came on a Saturday around 2/3pm. Parking was easy. I ordered the smothered Turkey chop and it was very bland so I asked for salt and pepper. My husband had the pork chop and it was bland as well. The sides, the catfish bites and the cheesesteak rolls were good. I would come back for the appetizers and drinks.
